(Y/N)

You walked up to your best friend, Chan Yandere,'s house. You knocked in the door. Chan answered immediately. Once she saw it was you, she smiled widely.

"(Y/N)!" she said. "Come in! I'll show you you're room."

Chan lead you to a room. You opened the door. It had a dresser, door to bathroom, and bed. You rolled in your suitcases, took off your bag on your back, and flung it on the bed.

"Get your stuff unpacked," Chan said. "We have school tomorrow."

"I don't wanna go to school," you complained.

"You come here and the first thing you do is complain?" Chan laughed. "You're still the same old (Y/N)."

"And you're still Chan, acting like an adult and telling me what to do. Thanks, Mom." You both laughed this time.

"Seriously," Chan said. "Get your stuff unpacked." Then she closed the door.

You walked in front of the mirror. You pulled off my hood, which was attached to your shirt. All your shirts are like that, even if they're short-sleeved. You have had every one of them stitched by friends or family or whoever.

You stared at yourself. Your (E/C) eyes look like they're anime. Your (H/L), (H/C) hair was slightly messy. You had dyed part of it (F/C), so that there were strands of the color running through your hair. You're also skinny. Scrawny, skinny. As in, not strong at all. (A/N: work with me...)

Looking down at your arms, you sighed. Chan had told you that the school made the students wear uniforms. How were you supposed to conceal your scars? You had been looking forward to this school, but you didn't want anyone to see what had happened back in (Y/Country). You've had enough trouble in your life already.

You walked away from the mirror and unpacked. Once you did that, you walked out of the room and tried to find Chan. You needed her advice.

Chan

(Y/N) came up to me when I was sitting in the couch, watching T.V.

"Chan, I need help," she said.

"Come sit," I said, patting the space next to me. (Y/N) sat. She sighed.

"What am I going to do about my arms?"

"You can wear a jacket all day."

"Chan, it's like, summer-year-round here. I'm going to burn up."

"But it's cold in the school, and we leave in the morning. You'll be fine!"

"What about after school? I'm not there all day. The weekends? When I'm going somewhere that's not school?"

"You can get arm warmers."

"What?"

"Yeah! You won't be out of place. We have crazier people at school."

"I don't wanna look like I'm a freaking anime girl, Chan."

"It's no big deal. Get arm warmers or sweatbands. No one will give you a second glance."

"You sure? I hate having people's attention. Anyone's attention. Except yours." She waved a hand in front of my face, since I had gone back to watching T.V.

"Ha. I'm sure. Trust me, you'll be fine."

"Okay. If you say so."
