~A/N: okay, story of the day: Today at recess, I sneezed (violently). Later that recess, I saw the saliva on my arm (I was wearing short sleeves), and I said, "What the hell?" Then I looked at my friends and was like, "Oh crap I just said that out loud. Sorry!" But they said, "It's fine. We hear it every day. It's common to us." Heheh, good thing the teacher wasn't there...~

Friday arrived sooner than you thought, and you were struggling to get ready. You had put on a nice (F/light color) sweater shirt with some dress jeans ("This is not a dress-worthy occasion," you had said to Chan). Then you had put in a tiny bit of makeup before slipping on some flats, just in time to hear the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it!" you heard Chan call from downstairs. Soon, the unmistakeable voice of Taurtis filled the house.

"Hey Chan! Where's (Y/N)?"

"She's upstairs getting ready. She'll be downstairs in a minute."

You grabbed your phone and ran downstairs. Taurtis and Chan were waiting in the living room.

"You look beautiful," Taurtis said when he noticed you.

"You don't look too bad yourself," you replied, smirking. Taurtis was wearing a white button-up shirt with a dark blue tie. He had taken off his headphones for the occasion, and his raven-black hair fell around his face, the color matching his dress pants and shoes.

Taurtis smirked back at you. "Alright, let's go," he said, taking your arm and pulling you towards the open door.

"Just makes sure she home before ten!" Chan called as you left. You and Taurtis laughed aloud.

"I will!"

He turned around and walked up to his white truck. He opened the passenger's seat door and gestures for you to get in.

"Ladies first," he said, smirking.

Your jaw dropped open. "You have a car?"

"Yeah, pretty much the only one in this town besides J."

You giggled quietly. J had about fifty cars that were all parked in the school parking lot.

"Are you gonna leave me here with the door open or-?"

You snapped back to reality. "Oh. Sorry."

Taurtis gave you a smile. You returned it and climbed into the truck. Taurtis shut the door behind you and headed around to the other side of the truck. He climbed in and started the engine.

"Buckle up," he said, buckling himself in.

"So, Mr. Charming, where are we going?" you asked, also buckling in.

"Charming, am I?" Taurtis pulled out of Chan's small driveway and started driving towards the exit of the town.

You rolled your eyes. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see, beautiful."

"Are we giving each other nicknames now?"

"Why not?"

"Okay, you're now officially Black Bear."

Taurtis laughed. "Okay, you're (offensive nickname)."

"Hey! Do you what me to strangle you?"

He laughed even harder. "Okay, okay. How about (Nickname)?"

"That's better."

"So, (Nickname), how about you start the radio. There might be some (F/Band) on."

"I hope so! I love them!" So you reached over to turn on the car radio. (A/N: Twenty-One Pilots, anyone?)

"You took me to a drive-in?"

Taurtis looked at you, smirking. "Of course," he said simply.

"How is there even one of these here? This is Japan!"

"This town is so weird, I thought you knew that."

"But we're outside of town!"

"Anything within ten miles from there is crazy."

You huffed. "What're we watching then?"

"(F/movie that's been in theaters at any point in time)."

"No way. That's, like, my favorite movie!" You started fangirl-squealing quietly.

"I know."

You whipped your head around at him. "How?"

"What?"

"How do you know?"

"You can do a lot in the days leading up to Friday."

"Did Chan tell you?"

He looked away, grinning. "Maaaaybe..."

"Ugh! Chan! I'll get her back later. Let's just go."

Taurtis snickered. He paid the person at the entrance and then drove his truck in. You got a fairly good spot around the middle of the large field. You and Taurtis climbed on top of the hood of the car, sitting down.

"So, did you bring any snacks?" you asked. "Or are we just gonna sit in silence?" (A/N: so many references XD)

"Worry not, (Nickname). I came prepared." Taurtis held up a bag, which you hadn't noticed before.

"Well, what're you waiting for? Give me the goods!" You tried to reach for the bag, but Taurtis pulled away.

"Nuh-uh. Not until the movie starts. You'll eat it all."

You crossed your arms and gave a fake pout.

"Don't worry," Taurtis said, trying to suppress a smirk. "It's should start soon."

The screen turned on, its light blinded you for a split second.

"Speak of the devil." It was your turn to smirk. You snatched the bag out of Taurtis' hand and opened it. Inside lay (F/candy), (F/gummy candy), two bottles of (F/soft drink), and some (F/flavor) popcorn.

You slowly looked up at Taurtis. "How much did Chan tell you?"

He laughed. "A lot. But hey, the (F/gummy candy) is my favorite, too."

"Oh really?" (A/N: correction: oh rlly?)

"Yeah. Now shush. The movie's starting."

Taurtis then focused his gaze on the screen. You giggled quietly before doing the same.

Taurtis and you walked up to Chan's front door. He stopped you before you could open it.

"Hey," he said, "I had fun tonight."

You took your hand off the knob and focused on his eyes, smiling. "I did too."

He smiled back.

"And, thanks for not talking about...you know," you dropped your voice to a whisper, "my scars."

"That's what I was trying to do tonight; make you forget them, if only for a couple hours." He took your hand and lightly squeezed it. You returned the gesture.

"You know, you're beautiful, (Y/N)."

"Thank you."

"No, really. I think I've...I think I've totally fallen for you."

You laughed silently.

"Have you?"

His question took you aback. You struggled to answer. "I don't know...I mean, there's Sam and Grian-"

"Maybe this will help you decide."

Before you even knew what was happening, he moved his lips to yours. The kiss was soft and sweet, but Taurtis made it count. He lightly but your bottom lip, pressing you against the door. You kissed back, running you fingers through his hair. As you closed your eyes, you saw him close his. You shared this beautiful moment in the dark. But, all too soon, as you thought, it ended. (A/N: complicated sentence is complicated)

"(Y/N)?" Taurtis whispered in your ear.

"Yes?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

~A/N: HAHAHHAHAH! Cliffhanger! oh wow, I just realized this looks like something out of The Selection series. Ugh, Kiera Cass what have you done to me????? XD but, serious time. This is now a decision for you to make. The majority will win.
