Chapter 2
Third Person Pov
Corinth laid on his bed today, his blankets wrapped around him and his pillows fluffed below his head. He was staring stiffly at his carved and painted ceiling, the emptiness around him was almost agony. He had nothing to do all afternoon. His daily chores were already completed along with all sorts of series TV could offer. Boredom ate at him and he did know what to do next with his solitary life.
He laid on his back, his left leg propped from underneath the sheets and the other slanted down. He huffed and shuttered at the coldness of his feet, the weather today was very cold. So much that it made shake continuously. Cornith's feet curled around each other, rubbing together to make heat, and then hiked up to his thighs to stay warm. He shivered as the rain continued to platter on his window and his cold feet began to have warmth.
It was strange for him to be bored, he usually always had something to do. It was something new and quite honestly, very annoying. He didn't want to feel bored, it was unnatural and gross to him. And so rather than staying in bed and tolerating boredom, Corinth sighed and pulled himself up, pursing his lips and gazing out the window longingly. He decided to do something, anything that would free him of his boredom. Sure the floor was tiled and too cold to walk on, but that sure as hell wasn't going to stop him.
He started thinking. He narrowed his eyes and focused profoundly, searching for deep thoughts wandering in his mind. He could see every equation. His feet were cold and he was hungry. Corinth also wanted to entertain himself while fixing his other problems. He shook his head in his own resolve and began.
He clapped his hands together and pumped his fist. His voice softly mumbled with a determine tone. "Let's do this."

Corinth had jumped from furniture to furniture to avoid the cold floor. Of course it wasn't difficult for him to do but it took him why more energy than he thought it would. He exhaled through his nostrils, his closet would be in another separate room Corinth made himself. He sat still for a second, clinging onto the small stool in his room. "Instead of jumping around... I... could just shift..." He thought. "It would be easier to jump around."
He stood straight and jumped, spinning with a poof and a slight pop. Landing into what was his rabbit form. Form B, in which, he could see shift into a rabbit looking body.
He landed on the tiled floor, the cold floor was no longer a problem. With the thick fur on his paws he could only feel solid floor. He hopped over to his cabinet and attempted to squeeze into the small space opened, but only his upper half fit. He was a bit stuck but managed to dragged a pair of fluffy black socks out and on the floor. He struggled but wiggled around in the cabinet and fell back on his behind.
Shifting back, with a poof and a slight pop, he sat on the floor, unraveling the ball of socks he threw, covering his cold feetsies.
After he finished, he walked around the house and began to think. Everything was spick and span, he had cleaned before the rain started and finished, so cleaning was a no. He didn't really have the inspiration to draw, so that was a "no" also. He also ran out of baking supplies and need to buy more food so there wasn't really much to cook. He thought long and hard. He didn't really want to eat but he could just to eat.
It finally snapped in his brain. Ah yes, eating just to eat. His new favorite pass time and activity. He shrugged to himself, trudging to the kitchen. Jello also sounded good right about then which thankfully, he had just made the other day.
He sighed contently, pulling the plate of jello from the bottom second section of his fridge, occasionally pushing other things from out of the way.
With his left, he carried the plate while he searched for a spoon in his kitchen drawer. He opened the drawer which he found to be very messy and unorganized. He quickly began to rearrange his utensils when he unconsciously shifted the weight of plate. Focused on the disorder in his cabinet, he almost had forgotten that he had the plate in his hands...well... until it began to fall.
His ears twitched as he felt the plate losing weight on one side quickly, his eyes widened as he saw the jello slide. Alarmed, he pulled the plate up, jerking his other hand to hold the plate firmly, but it was too late... Half of the jello was already on the floor.
A horrible splattering sounded followed. He gasped and clasped his hands on the plate. His face twisted with horror, his knees threatened to collapse. The sight was horrible. He muffled a scream in his throat, tears made their to his eyes, there was jello everywhere. He had spent so much time and effort just to get the mixture and ingredients and now half of his hard work was on the floor.
He stifled a short screech and hastefully placed the plate on the counter. He squeezed his face and slowly, crouched closer to the floor. An internal scream took place in that small moment and quickly went away. He wiped his tears as he cleaned the floor with a sad huff and threw the spoiled remains away. He sighed and trudged to his front door. He no longer wanted to deal with jello.
"I'll just go to the town and find something new to eat or do..." He reasoned with himself. He opened a small closet that stood near his front door pulling out his favorite matching yellow rain coat and boots along with rainy season-see-through water repellent backpack. "I need to buy more food anyways..."
He huffed and fixed himself, grabbing a matching umbrella on the way out. Corinth turned, checking for his keys in his bag and for coins and extra money. He shook his head satisfied with the materials for his journey. It wasn't dark yet so he had enough time to go from home safely. He smiled to himself and walk out of his house, umbrella opened. He locked his door and patted his house.
"I'll be right back."
