Akutagawa Ryunnosuke x Reader: Villain
A/N: I'm (kinda) baaacck! More explanation at the end. The is something I came up with.
-----------------------------
Evil
He stared down his opponents with an icy glare.
Devil Child
He felt nothing as he let Rashomon run wild against the men. Men who probably were or were not working against him, but he didn't care about that.
Villain
He walked away indifferent to the amount of people laid across the streets. It's not as if this was the first time he has done this. No, he had slaughtered way more. Too many at this point, it would look like he was on the brink of insanity. He walked along the empty street alone in his own. He looked as though was in his own twisted world.
"Hey Villain!" A high pitched voice resonated in his ears. He let out an annoyed grunt as he knew who that voice belonged to.
"I see you're handling your job well, whatever your job is." A short (h/l) girl ran up next to him. He gave her one of his cold glares showing his annoyance but she didn't seem phased or even the slightest bit intimidated by him.
"Whoooaaa! You really went all out here!" The girl exclaimed as she hovered her hand over her eyes observing the grotesque scene behind him. Anyone who would hear her remark or would see her impressed expression would deem her insane. Akutagawa raised a brow at her as he silently observed her behavior and body language. The girl he always found extremely strange, not even affected by the mangled bodies. He clicked his tongue silently before continuing his way leaving the girl in her weird splendor.
"Oh? Hey! Wait up Villain!" She called as she ran up next to him.
Akutagawa clenched his jaw in irritation as the girl walked next to him and started her mindless prattle. This wouldn't be the first time this happened. The first couple of times they met the girl would walk with him, chat with him even though he never made conversation with her, and always call him that stupid nickname "villain."
"Oh!" The girl's tone of voice changed as she came to a realization.
"I never gave you my name." She said. He stared at her with a blank look as she thought he cared about introductions.
"I'm (L/n) (Y/n)." She said giving him a small playful grin. He stood silently refusing to utter a word, the last thing he needed was an annoying chatterbox to associate herself with him. Even he couldn't understand why she drew herself towards him.
She tilted her head, "Wow, you're silent. Usually you would threaten me like always." She said. He covered his mouth with his right hand as he suppressed a cough.
"Are you sick?" She asked curiously. Her big eyes stared at his form, but he returned the curiosity with nothing but a look of hatred.
"Piss off already." He growled. It was silent hope that the order would tell the girl to finally leave him alone. He left her there, two of his fingers went up to his temple as he felt a slight headache.
"Aw come on villain!" He heard the girl whine, he only clenched his jaw more as he had to suppress the urge to let Rashomon kill the girl. Which brings the question...why didn't he? He felt the girl tug at his black coat he looked back as he stared into her hypnotic (e/c) eyes.
"I just got here, I wanted to talk to ya!" She exclaimed giving another grin. Akutagawa had enough as he forced her off. He grabbed her throat, adding a little pressure, pinning her against the wall.
"Enough of your annoying chatter. Leave before I really let Rashomon kill you." He snarled. The girl winced as she felt the pressure on her throat increase a little more, and she looked at him with wide eyes. Akutagawa took this as an indication that she'll finally leave him be. He was proved wrong when the girl had a slight sparkle in her eyes while she gave a grin again.
"Wooow! That sounded even more threatening than last time." She said. He grit his teeth before letting the girl fall to the floor. She let out a small 'oof', but got up unaffected and dusted herself off.
"Although it's not as worse as when Rashomon almost broke my arm. You really live up to your name villain!" She said.
"Why are you so fucking happy about that? Are you mocking me?" He asked. He felt agitated that his usual intimidation didn't affect this girl like it did a lot of people. Well except for the Mafia, they were all twisted in their own way.
"Hm, nope! I just find it...oh what's the word?" She said trailing off into thought.
"Admiring!" She finally exclaimed.
He gave her a confused look, "Admiring?" He asked. Why did she think it was admiring? The power of the devil child, nothing but a soulless monster in other people's eyes.
"Admiring because when I see you I see two things. One, a strong person and two a person who has made it this far with an internal conflict and darkness." She explained. He felt a twinge of emotions run through him as she looked like she read him like a book. Why? Why did she feel this way, and about him no less?
"There's darkness in you Akutagawa-san, but it's artificial. There's something about you...I don't know what, but you weren't born evil." She said. He started to feel agitated again. The girl felt a sting on her cheek as he slapped her hard. Her pain signals fired relentlessly but she only let a soft calm expression display on her face.
"Shut up! You think you know me?!" He yelled at her as his face scrunched up in anger.
"Nope, but I want to. Why do you think I follow you around all the time?" She asked. His breath hitched slightly as he had nothing to say.
"You remind me so much of the villains in stories and fables. You seem like a cold hearted killer on the outside, but there's more. I want to know more." She said.
Akutagawa faced the ground as he clenched his fist. He felt conflicted as feelings of both hatred and something else stormed inside of him. He hated the girl for pushing him, and he hated the fact that he's letting her into the darkness that easily. But this other feeling he's getting, that made him think himself weak, let the door to himself open wide.
"You don't know what you're getting into." He said.
"I know! Call me crazy!" She said as she gave her head a light tap and stuck her tongue out. Akutagawa was at a loss for words with this girl. He gave up, which was rare for him, and let the girl do as she pleased. She walked up next to him and started her mindless prattle again. He would have to get used to the girl flying around him like a bee to a flower.
Misunderstood
He questioned as to why he was so welcoming, but one glance at the persistent girl next to him made him feel...different. He wasn't going to dwell on the fact that the girl managed to make his insides swell. But more on that he, a cold hearted person, found acceptance from a girl who called him "villain."
A/N: No writing for a week and this what I can come up with? Bleeehhh ok explanation time. I wanted to get this down because it's been in my head for a while. The inspiration came from a Bollywood movie called Ek Villain, strange I know. But now explanation time, I'm still technically going to be on hiatus this week because I leave for Disney on Wednesday and I don't know if I'm going to find time to write, if I do then I'll write. Bear with me until then. Next will be Atsushi, and Tanzaki because I know someone wanted them. And I haven't written for Ranpo at all which is weird cause he's one of my favorite characters.
