(Keepin this in Cory's point of view)

  Trotting up the old, creaky porch steps, we had finally arrived at Y/N's house. Which wasn't that long of a walk, but with her, I swear it felt way longer than it actually was. She quickly opened the door, heading straight in, with me following shyly behind. "I'm home with a friend!" She called out into the large house. Her mother called a hello from the kitchen, as you could smell the scents of her cooking. Boiling water, with a hint of melted butter and crushed tomato sauce. What? I had a good sense with food.

She led me into the kitchen, where I sat in the doorway waiting for her to come back out. Y/N opened a cabinet, and grabbed two snack sized bags of chips. Then opened the fridge, standing there for a moment. Suddenly I felt a large being behind me, it hovered over my small body, warm and ominous. I looked up to find a shadowed face of a tall person. The light finally shown on their face, and they looked down at me with a smile. "Hey Y/N, toss me a Pepsi would ya?" They said. Without looking away from the fridge door, Y/N threw a Pepsi can behind her. The person quickly caught it out of mid air, and opened it with a click then a slight fizz.

My body was tensed by this person just staring me down. They took a sip of their soda, then smiled at me. The person wore a black and red sweatshirt with the word 'King' in bold lettering on the front, a golden crown hovering above the 'g'. They had long parted hair, that was brown, and mostly put to one side of their head. Yet, the one thing that caught my eye, was the bright crimson eyes they had. They looked like demon eyes, just staring at me. As if this person would take my soul with one blink at any moment.

Y/N came over to us smiling, "Cory this is my sister Shelby." Shelby raised a brow, then smiled, sipping her soda. She then held out a hand, "Nice to finally meet the dork that my sister is so madly in love with." I saw Y/N quickly punch Shelby on the shoulder, as Shelby drew back her hand and rubbed her shoulder. I gave a stifled laugh, then smiled. Y/N quickly grabbed my hand, and led me up the stairs. We headed into her room, seeing a dark oak door as we first go in. She quickly closed the door, then fell back onto her bed. I placed by book bag in a corner, slowly sitting on the bed beside her.

  I glanced down at her, as she caught my gaze and smiled up at me. I sighed, laying back on her pillow, beside her. She sat up, then took the remote from off her bed side table. Y/N clicked on the tv, then turned on the wii she had. "Mario Cart?" She asked. I smiled, as she glanced back at me, I nodded. "I'm gonna beat ya for sure though," I said with a cocky tone. She smirked, giving a small chuckle then tossing a remote at me. I clumsily caught it, as she spoke. "Yeah right, ya dork."

~Later~

It was about a tie at this point. With out exhaustion coming upon us, we both had given up. Even wins for games, and even loses. So it seems we were both amazing at the game. "KIDS COME DOWN TO EAT!" Her mother yelled from down the stairs. "Okay!" Y/N called back. I slowly got up from the bed, then stopped as I felt a tug on my green baseball tee. I looked over my shoulder to find Y/N tugging on it. I raised a brow, trying not to feel embarrassed again about blushing. "I'm too tired! Can you carry me?"

I rolled me eyes, and playfully took her hands off my shirt. "You can walk yourself you potato," I said smirking. She smiled, then heaved a large breath. "Fiiine!" She said before getting off the bed. We headed down the stairs, and straight into the dining room. There was her mother, setting up the table, and Shelby who sat down, leaning back in her chair.

  Y/N sat down, as I sat next to her, and her mother sat next to Shelby. The table had an assortment of celery, carrots, and other healthy appetizers types. Then the main course, spaghetti topped with red tomato sauce and juicy meat balls. Y/N's mother smiled, "I hope you like Italian Cory." I nodded, almost drooling over the glorious food. I know I'm a good cook too, but this looked absolutely amazing. I just couldn't hold in my awe.

  Y/N giggled, "I think he does." I caught a glance of Shelby rolling her eyes then mumbling something that seemed to make her agitated. "Shelby! Language!" Her mother scolded. Shelby rolled her eyes, "Sorry." Y/N's mother then looked at me as I caught her gaze, she smiled then spoke. "Dig in! And have as much as you want, there is no limit except your own." Her voice was sweet, and sincere. It gave me a flash back sensation, but I shook it off, and began filling my plate as did everyone else.
