When I arrived to the cafeteria it was decently crouded; or not over-crouded.  Through the window I could see people walk around, probably you can buy food outside as well. I looked around and saw the queue to pick up lunch, so I walked and waited. Other classmates walked by me with the trays on hand and the lunch was a decent looking turkey sandwich along with other things.

After waiting and paying I sat down at an empty table, it was my first day; and because of how shy I am, I did not really made friends quickly. But it did not matter, there is still enough time. I took the first bite of the sandwich and fell in love of how good it was, 3 dollars well spent. While I was opening the bottle of raspberry juice, I heard giggles from a table that was near mine.

Looking up I saw a bunch of girls staring back at me. I quickly looked away and sipped on my drink. That's when the giggles grew louder. I heard them whispering to each other but I did not dare to look up. That's when my eyes caught a reflex of a movement in front of me.

I jolted to look up and saw a girl standing right in front of me. Her features were short blonde hair, the tips were curved up with redish highlights, blue eyes, and her clothing was a white with dark purple shirt along with a matching skirt. She smiled and resumed giggling at me. I pouted, what was so funny about me? I am just a new kid, geez!

"You must be the new kid. I'm Phosphora, a junior. What's your name?"

She leaned on the table and blinked as if she was very interested on me. I swallowed the bits of juice left in my mouth and spoke.

"Pit Icarus. Nice to meet you."

"Such a sweetie pie you. Let me tell 'ya, the others think you're cute. I am warning you to be aware of them. They're... not nice at times. I'm not mean myself. Welcome to LightSky High School, Pit! Do you know about this place yet?"

"Yes I do...! Eh, kinda..."

She giggled at my stupidity, I felt embarrassed by this.

"Alright darling, I can show you around if you'd like."

"I'm cool right now. Thanks for the offer, though."

I smiled at her and she smiled back, then she rolled her eyes and smacked her lips together.

"You're such a nice guy. Not like that senior kid... Ugh!"

Senior kid? Dark Pit?

"Do you mean Dark Pit?"

Her face shifted to shock. A small gasp escaped her lips.

"Oh you know about him? Probably yes, his targets are those kids who are in a lower grade. Are you one of those targets?"

I remembered what  happened earlier and a shiver ran down my spine. I looked at her and nodded.

"Yes, sadly."

"Aw you little angel boy! I'm so sorry! Don't worry, you'll be fine. This school does not tolerate fights. He may bother you but if you act like you're not interested he might give up on you."

This girl seems quite nice, and helpful. I smiled widely at her advice and nodded.

"I appreciate it, Phosphora."

"Don't mention it! Oh, only 10 minutes left! I'll leave now to not bother your lunch. See 'ya later sweetie pie!"

As she walked off she waved at me and lead the other girls to the hallway. I waved back and continued eating. First day, not so bad I guess.
