Yeah, I'm doing something a little different. While I didn't grow up with Max Keeble's Big Move, my family rented it once, watched it a few times and I liked it for what it was. It's just a movie that stuck with me while not being a good film. I also have had a drive to write a Sonia x OC story where the love interest is either Timothy or Coovers for a while. Honestly, I think this story works better for that than having this be Amourshipping since there's not a ton of romance in the source material. So, this time I took on the challenge of writing a story based on a not-so-great film and taking an even bigger challenge of a love story between an OC and a canon character. I've done OC x canon character stories a few times in some of my My Little Pony stories, and I couldn't help but have the drive to do that here.

Keep in mind, this does not mean I'm done with Amourshipping stories. In fact, I'm currently writing a new Amourshipping story that's an adaptation of the Shakespeare play Twelfth Night while publishing this one. After that, I've been thinking of another story based on the recobbled cut of an obscure animated film called The Thief and the Cobbler. I simply had this drive to do something out of the norm with my Pokemon stories and, hopefully, made something enjoyable. With that said, I hope you'll look past how this is different from what I usually write and enjoy this story.
