Adalynn's POV

I woke up on a wednesday morning. It was the first day of school. Of High school. Middle school was crap and i betting high school wont be any better.

I decided to show pride in my apperence today so i went to my closet and put on a floral dress with a denim sleevless jacket and some black flats. I let my hair flow down and only applied mascara. Im not a big fan of makeup. I grab my bag and phone and walk downstairs.

Of course my sister is gone so i grabbed a poptart aand walked out the door. I was waiting at the bus stop. Usually it takes a while for the bus to get there so i call matt

M~ In about a month. Ive decided to take online school for the rest of the year but i still have alot to do.

I felt like someone was behind me but i didnt bother to look. It was Chase and Hayes. "DAAUMMN girl whats your name?" Hayes said playing with my hair from behind. I pulled away. "Stop." he got really close to me whoch scred me. "Why I wont hurt you baby." he whispered in my ear sending chills down my spin. I turned around. "I said stop." Hayes and Chase stood there shocked.

I rolled my eyes and decided to walk. It was a 10 minute walk so why not? It was a beautiful day and I had felt really good the way I stood up to him like that.

I first met him in 7th grade when I moved here from Georgia. I had a little crush on him but he liked the most popular girl Maggie Lennox. She hated me, and so ofcourse thats what made Hayes hate me too.

Ive hated him sice then.

I got to the front doors and as I was walking in here comes Maggie bursting through the doors sending me to the ground. She and her possey, Stephanie and Christine had laughed histerically but I didnt care.

I walked to My new homeroom Mr. Glenn and took a seat in the back left corner row 1 by myself. 5 minutes later Maggie had walked in hand in hand with Hayes. they sat next to each other they sat in the back middle row 2. practically right next to me.

"good morning class! I hope you all had a nice summer, well now its time to get back into gear. I am going to start by switching seats." everyone groweled. " now now let me put you in your seats and if you can handle yourselves, you all might be able to sit with your friends.

Now starting here' pointing at the front left row 1 ' Nikki and Brian. next Hope and Mikey. Melissa and Jacob. Maggie and Kian. Lauren and Neil. Adalynn and Hayes.-" I stood up from my seat. "Wait what?!" I cant sit with him!" He looked back at me "Im sorry Mrs. Henderson but where i put you is where you will stay. For now at least, now please Adalynn and Hayes sit."

I sighed and walked up to the seat. Hayes sat down and looked at me like he was going to kill me. I put my head down for the rest of class until i felt something hit my head.

It was a note. I opened it and it read just a bunch of words such as slut, whore, bitch,attention seeker, phsyco, ect. Maggie turned and looked at me and smirked. Then blew hayes a kiss. I rolled my eyes. This was going to be an interesting year.

When the bell rang i got up and ran out of the class and to my next class so hayes or the others wouldnt mess with me on my way there but ofcourse here he comes.

Hayes with Maggie Chase, and AJ. Chase shoved me up against the wall and whispered in my ear, "where the hell do you think your going?" "I-I" Hayes walked up to me as chase held me to the wall and smacked me in the face. I had a couple tears fall.

They all laughed a me. AJ punched me in the stomach and i then fell to the floor. They walked away and I just sat there. I decided to ditch. I know I know, first day of school but whatever.

I went to my locker, grabbed my phone and walked out. I honestly thought it would be harder than that but it wasnt.

I walked home in silence. I got up to my door. Hayes lived right next door. I had a red face from not only crying but from when hayes smacked me. I was holding my stomach becuase of when AJ punched me.

I fiddled for the keys in my bag. I took a glance at my driveway. Evelynn wasnt home. I sighed then procedeed to find my keys. I started hearing footsteps behind me so i slowly turned around suprised at who I saw.

It was Nash. I jumped in fear as he held my head up and looked at my face. "who did this to you?" I looked away. "non of your bussiness and why are you even here?" "I have to pick Hayes up from school, and I saw you. why arent you at school?" "why arent you?" i snapped back. "I take online school because of, well you know."

I found my keys and shoved them into the door. As I walked in he grabbed my arm. "You never answered my question." I turned my head. "actually I did, I told you i was non of your bussiness."

And with that I pulled my arm out of his grip and shut the door. I went into the kitchen and grabbed some oreos and a Fiji bottle.

I walked upstairs, plugged my phone into some speakers playing all of Kalin and Myles music. I slipped into some sweatpants and my IDC t shirt and ate some oreos. I looked over at my phone. Eve had texted me

hey babe! I have to go out of town for the week but I dont know if you saw it but I had left you with 50$ for the week. Do whatever you want with it and if you need extra money Mrs. Grier needs a babysitter for skylynn. Dont do anything stupid!! love ya :-*

I sighed and walked downstairs to get the money. I decided to walk to Zaxbys. Everything in this town was really close together.

There were like three neighborhoods, a park, a walmart,a couple schools and restraunts, and a mall. So everything was walking distance and considering i havent even gotten my liscens yet, it was an advantage.

I walked into zaxbys and got a chicken finger plat with an ice tea to go. I walked out and back onto the sidewalk. I decided to eat in the park. As I was eating I was watching some people skatboard. Ive allways wanted to try but oh well.

I looked at the skateboarders and noticed... Hayes.. I freaked out and started getting my things together "Hey look! Its the fat cow!" dammit.

I started to walk away then felt two strong arms grab me and throw me to the ground. "you ugly fat cow! No one likes you! why dont you just leave?!" "I was trying to but your not letting me, so thats your own fault."

I smiled and got up. He grabbed my drink out of my hands and poured it all over me. I could hear pictures being taken. Wonderful.

I left my food and ran. I got up to a street corner and stopped to see where i was going. I looked up and noticed that I was only a block or two away from my house.

I started to walk then ran into someone. or a couple people. "Im so sorry-" "adalynn?" I looked up and sure enough, it was Nash and cameron. "what? are you following me now or something?!" "we had to pick hayes up." cameron said. "what happend? and please tell me this time."

I looked at Nash. "Why do you care? you wouldnt believe me anyway! I got tea poured on me." Nash and cameron looked at me with sorry eyes. I rolled my eyes and walked away.

I could hear them calling my name but I didnt care. I just wanted to go home.
