NASHS POV

I walked out on her. I couldnt believe what she said. It was my brother this entire time. I got back to my house and walked in the door. Hayes was playing with skylynn.

I grabbed hayes by the arm and dragged him into my room. I was pissed. What did she ever do to him?

"What the hell is your problem?!" I screamed at him. "chill dude. what are you talking about?" "I am talking about Adalynn. I know you made those bruises, and the red mark on her face from the first day of school. and when she was soaking wet last night at the park. Was it really you all these years?"

He had a worried look. "I-I dont know what your talking about." I grabbed him by his shirt."You know EXACTLY what I am talking about. What did she ever do to you." I let him down and sighed.

"Look, I have nothing against her. I honestly dont know why i did it. When she moved here in middle school. I thought i liked her. but I liked Maggie but Maggie didnt like her. So I just followed what Maggie did."

He walked out of the room. I dont where to. he just left.

ADALYNNS POV

I was terrified of what was going to happen now. I was afraid. At least we didnt have school tomorrow.

I Heard someone knco at the door so I walked down the stairs to get it. I opened the door slowly. It was Hayes.

He shoved me inside and shut the door and locked it. He came towards me and shoved me against the wall. "Why would you tell. Out of all the people you could of told. You told my brother!"

I started to tearup " Well he would have found out sooner or later! he asked me a good five or six times who is doing this to me! What did I ever do to you?!"

"I-I.' he sighed ' I dont know. I wanted to be with maggie but she hates you so i did whatever she told me to do.

Adalynn Im so sorry. Please forgive me." He started to tear up.

"no. Did you really think I was going to forgive you that easy?! Whats gonna happen at school on monday?! There going to hurt me and your going to do the same. or even just stand there and watch me. Dont come here with an apoligy your stupid brother made you do. I hate you. get out of my house."

"but I-" "Get out or I will call the cops." he sighed and walked out. I wasnt going to give in that easy. I ran to my room and cried.

I just wanted to leave. I wanted to go to a place where no one was there. It was just me. I hated everyone. Even myself.

Monday morning came by too fast. I decided on black high waisted shorts and a white shirt that says IDC with it tucked in and with some black vans.

I grabbed my phone and my bag and walked out the door. I was waiting at the bus stop because I was too lazy to walk. I heard someone walking so i turned around and there was Chase.

"What are you looking at?" He had a huge black eye. I shook my head and looked down. Hayes started to walk up to me. "hey, you look nice. " he whispered in my ear, which sent me chills down my spine as he smiled.

I rolled my eyes at him and got on the bus as it pulled in. I sat in the middle back by myself. I dont have any friends. I only have matt but hes in virginia sadly. I barley talk to him anymore.

hes been doing this magcon thing with nash so i never get to talk to him. When the bus stopped i got off and went to my locker and put my phone inside. I went to the bathroom and cleaned up a bit.

I guess I was crying. I went inside then someone slammed me onto the wall. "What the hell did you this time?" It was Maggie. "what are you talking about?!" "He broke up with me! I figured the little slut might have done something." I rolled my eyes

"I am not a slut ive never even had my first kiss. And even if I was a slut I would never mess around with Hayes not only because I hate his guts, but I wouldnt fool around with someone thats fooled around with you. And thats pretty much every guy in this school." all the girls started oohhh-ing and crap.

"Listen here, Mess with Hayes and I will hurt you." "no promises."

I shoved her off of me and left. I was really proud of myself. Ive never really stood up for myself so this was an accomplishment.

I walked to class not disturbed. I sat down and Hayes came in late. of course. he sat down next to me and smiled I turned my head. I was thinking.

Why did Chase get a black eye? why did Hayes and Maggie break up? I turned back at him. "why did you and maggie break up?" i whisper yelled. "reasons" he stated.

maggie just sat there glaring at me."alright class so we will be having our first class project. I want everyone to work on a project of your choice.

wonderful. " The catagories you can choose from are in the back of the class." I sighed an got up to go look. "see any ya like" Hayes had whispered giving me chills and made me jump.

"um uh no not really I uh" he laughed. "I like this one" he said pointing at the computers one.

"we can do like steve jobs or something." "uh yeah I- sure" he siled and sat back down as i did the same. Today felt really wierd.
