I woke with hayes' arms wrapped around me. It was 6:00 am. "Hayes wake up. You need to go to your house and get ready." I said poking his face to wake him up.

"Lets just stay pleaseee." he whined sitting up. I laughed and shook my head. I walked towards my closet to find something to wear.

It was actually kind of cold so i went with my white sweater and some skinny jeans. I walked towards the bathroom and brushed my teeth and brushed my hair.

I was too lazy to really do anything to it. I added a neckalace that mom gave me before she died. It was a silver guitar pick and it had a blue peace sign on it. It was really all i had of hers.

I walked back into my room to see hayes on his phone. "Boy get your butt out of bed and get ready!" he pouted and got up. "Ill meet you at the bus stop." He said and kissed my cheek.

I grabbed my phone and my bag and walked downstairs and ate some cereal. I was thinking about last night. It was just so perfect but in a 'i never want to think about it' way.

I didnt want my first kiss to be with him. Yet i let it happen this way, and i cant say im not developing feelings because i want to say it distugested me. But it didnt. I really liked it.

He seemed to act like nothing happend. Which I was totally okay with. I didnt want him to think there was a 'relationship' between us because he hasnt really gained my turst back so how can I date someone who doesnt even have my full trust?

I approached the bus stop and Hayes and Chase were there. Chase is nice and im not gonna lie, he is kind of hot. But i would never date him. "Hey lynn!" Hayes said walking toward me. Chase followed behind him.

"Hey you guys" then the wierdest thing happend. Chase put his arm around me, acting all 'cool' "whats up Bae. Theres a party me and hayes and the guys are going to. Wanna come?"

Hayes was clenching his fists and grunting his teeth. I removed his arm. "Dont call me that. and sure when?" "its at AJ's place saterday at 7." Hayes said. I nodded.

The bus arrived and as I went to sit in my normal seat i felt someone sit with me. It was Hayes. "What are you doing?"

"can I not sit with my friend?" He said. And then he smiled? i smiled-ish back and looked out the window. "Are you going to the party?" i looked at him.

"I-I dont know yet." He looked at me confused for a second. "Youve never been to a party. have you?" i looked down. He was right.

Ive never been to a party. Ive never had friends. I knew matt through Nash and Nash and matt are older than me. He tilted my head up.

"If you want. We can go together? so you wont feel alone." I smiled and nodded. "What am I supposed to wear?" "you know that strapless dress in your closet? the green and dark blue stripped one? " i nodded.

"Wear that." I nodded "wait how do you know about that dress? have you been theough my closet?" he laughed. "im very snoopy." I was red in embaressment. He just laughed.

The bus honked the horn. Telling us to get off the bus. I got off and walked to my locker.

I felt a hand hit my shoulder i turned around to see Shawn. "Hey beautiful" i blushed and shyly waved. "I was wondering if you wanted to come over after school? you can bring your guitar and we can play together?" i smiled.

"I would love to." He smiled "great well we can drive in my car an take you to your house to get your guitar and then we can head to my house?" i nodded "sure".

The bell rang so we said our goodbyes and I walked to my first class. I couldnt stop smiling.

I walked in and sat down. I was still smiling. I like him a lot. I felt Hayes tap me on the shoulder. "You okay?" I smiled wide. "Im fine."

Class went by fast as well as school. Me and Hayes didn't talk much. I went to my locker and grabbed my phone.

I was meeting shawn by my locker. "Hey Lynn do you wanna do something this afternoon?" hayes asked "sorry I'm hanging out with shawn." he rolled his eyes.

"Why do you not like him?" he scoffed. "I just don't okay?!" he raised hi voice a little. "Chill chill. It was just a question." he just walked away. what was his problem?

"you ready?" i turned around to see shawn. Every time I see shawn i forget about Hayes. every time I see hayes, i forget about shawn. It was weird.

"Yeah!" we reached his car. He had a really nice car. He walked to the passenger side and opened the door for me. I giggled and got in.

Like I said before, we lived in a really small town so our houses weren't far from each other. We reached my house and we went inside.

I grabbed my guitar out of my room. Its an ombre blue and dark blue. " I love your guitar!!! He said. I laughed. "Thanks i got it a couple of years ago." We sat it inside the car and drove to his house.

His house was huge. It was still have empty because of them moving in but it was still beautiful. "ill show you to my room. " He said and grabbed my hand. I smiled as we walked upstairs. He room was so nice.

He had pictures that his fans made for him all over the walls. He really does love his fans. He walked over and grabbed his guitar. "What do you know how to play?" He asked.

"Just a few songs. Not much. How about you?" he pulled out a book filled with songs. "Geez." He laughed. I saw that had wrote hallelujah. My favorite song. "Can you play this for me?" I asked and pointed at the song. He smiled.

"My favorite song." I smiled. (If you go on youtube and search shawn mendes, he has his own cover of it) the song was beautiful. I cant play no where near as good as him. He was the best singer ive ever heard. "I love it. I cant play like that though." He sat down his guitar and sat behind me.

"I can teach you." I nodded. he put his left hand on mine where the guitar goes and the other hand over my right where i would strum. "Well first you play this chord,but you only play this and this."

I nodded. "Then you switch to this cord and only strum this and this." I nodded. "Now try." He removed his hands. i attempted but sounded awful.

We both started laughing. I turned around and looked up at him. I really liked him but something was telling me not like him.

He started to lean in. I wanted to do the same. I leaned in an we kissed. He was a good kisser. I wanted to keep going but i just couldn't. I don't know why but i couldn't. I pulled back.

"Im really sorry. I just don't know what I want right now." He nodded. "I know you like Hayes. I see the way he looks at you. I don't want to get in the way." I was confused. "W-what?"

"thats why he doesn't like me. He thinks I'm getting in the way of you to." I looked down. "Shawn, i still want us to be good friends." He nodded. "I think its best."

I smiled-ish. "Its getting really late i better get going." I said sitting up. "Let me drive you home." I smiled and nodded "okay."

I grabbed my guitar and my bag. We walked outside and into his car. The drive was short but it was quiet. Not an awkward quiet. But a comfortable silence.

When we reached my house i grabbed my guitar from the back. Before i got out, i hugged shawn. He smiled and hugged me back.

"Im really sorry. " I whispered. We let go. "Why are you sorry? I want you to be happy." I smiled and kissed his cheek. He blushed and i just laughed. "Thank you." And I got out of the car.

I went up to my house and set my guitar down. What just happend? i cant like Hayes theres no way. Even if there was something between us, Maggie would destroy me.

I started to tear up. I need to talk to hayes but i don't know. Im just so confused. I slide down the wall and just banged my head against it a couple of times.

I sighed and got up. I need to talk to him. I walked over to his house. His mom wasn't home because the car was gone. I knocked on the door. Hayes opened the door. "We need to talk." I said.

He opened the door wider letting me in. We sat together on the couch. "Whats wrong lynn?" i was in tears. "Im so confused hayes." He looked confused.

"I went to Shawn's house. We kissed. " His fist clenched and he gritted his teeth. "He told me he doesn't want to get in the way of you and me. He says we have something going on between us. I don't know anymore hayes. What is going on between us?"

he was speechless. He looked pissed. I was in tears. he tilted my head up and used his thumb to wipe the tears away. But more just came down.

"Sh sh. A beautiful girl like you shouldn't cry." He whispered wrapping his arms around me. i don't know what was going on. "How do you feel about me?" i looked him straight in the eye. We were inches apart.

And before I knew it he smashed his lips onto mine.

This kiss was far better then the first one. I wrapped my arms around his neck. As his snaked around my waist. We pulled apart and i just layed on his chest. "Im so sorry." I whispered. "I just want you to be happy."

I sighed. I didnt know what happy was. "Lynn can you and me go out and do something tomorrow?" I looked up at him. He looked so nervous. I smiled and nodded.
