I laid on his shoulders while watching the stars. "Can you tell me about your family? like i don't want to talk about it if your not comfortable talking about it thats fine-" i cut him off. "Its fine."

"Remember when I told you about the night when me and my sister were at our grandparents and counted the stars?" He nodded.

"I didn't want to go home that night, neither did my sister. She was interested in the neighbor. Our parents let us stay the night and just took my little sister home with them."

I sighed. "They died on the way home that night. a car crash." He pulled in tighter. "Im so sorry." he said. "Why are you sorry? you didn't kill them. Unless theres somethin I don't know about...." I said trying to make this conversation funny. He laughed as well.

"Adalynn." he whispered. "Mhm" I was half asleep. "Let me take you to your room."he whispered. I nodded as he picked me up bridal style back to my room.

He laid me down on the bed. "Goodnight princess, I love you." he kissed my cheek. "Mm don't kiss my cheek!" he laughed and walked out of the room. I tossed over to the other side and fell asleep.
