After the incident, Adalynn and Hayes decided to move back to North Carolina. They tried to start a new life and a new relationship. Although, they cannot forget about the scarring events, they still try an maintain a normal life. Adalynn still has nightmares, not just about the incident, but because of her past in the begining of high school and ending of middle school.

Shawn and Adalynn are still really good friends and she still maintains a wonderful friendship with all of the boys. None of the fans know about the incident. They know of it, but not who was involved.

She can honestly say, she is head over heels--has fallen in love with her bully.
