For the next week or so, it was kind of awkwrd, I don't think Hayes new me and Nate 'broke up', and Nate didn't know what was going on between Hayes and I (which wasn't anything) and I didnt know what was going on between Nate and Hayes.

Nate was off doing his own thing, as well as Hayes. That gave me some alone time. I haven't heard those words in a while. I walked down to the beach and played guitar. I missed Shawn. Every time I played, I thought of him. Its really bad.

I felt my phone vibrate so I pulled it out to see a blocked number.

I didn't know If I should go or not. This was really scaring the crap out of me.

I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I grabbed my guitar and ran back to my house, locking all doors and windows.

I crawled into my bed texting Hayes to come stay the night because I was too scared to stay by myself.

"Knock knock." I heard from the front door. I walked slowly towards the door. Hayes was standing there with a rose. I smiled welcoming him in. "thanks for staying over, I just really wanted some company." I lied. I shouldn't tell him, I don't want him involved with my problems again.

"Anything for you." He handed me the rose. We walked upstairs laying down in my bed. It honestly felt wierd, because we haven't done this in two months. "Adalynn, If I get too close or something, I am sorry, I don't want to interfere with you and Nate." he said moving away a bit. Which kind of disappointed me. "Wwe broke up." I stuttered. "Ooh." He said and smirked. "Hayes." He laughed. "Kidding." He then came closer with his arm around me.

"Im going to sleep. Goodnight." I said cuddling into his shirt. He wrapped his arms around me. "Goodnight gorgeous." He whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine.
