Chapter 1

{Edited/Re-edited on 8/3/2019}

A/N: This book has been/ is currently being re-edited. Some things worth noting. It is a "Reader X Character" kind of book which means Y/N means YOUR NAME. Plus it has the BBS, the Misfits/GBG, some other YouTubers and some OC's/other people in it. Also, like some of my other books, "***" will most likely represent a time skip, scene skip or flashback (when specified)

When you think of the first day of school, what comes to mind? Seeing all of your friends? Talking about your summer? Starting with a fresh slate?

None of these come to mind for you. Especially since you've been in High School with "them."

It was 6:10 in the morning and you had just hopped out of the shower, and had gotten dressed. Walking down the stairs, you noticed that the house was completely empty.

"Thank the lord." You muttered to yourself while taking a deep breath, one of relief.

The truth is that you hated being here when my father was here. He always called me the "accident" between him and your mother, which of whom you have never met.  Shortly after you were born, she died in a car crash. The only keepsakes you have left as a memory of her are a necklace, a ring and a photo. Your father was one of the reasons my life was a living hell and why, after you graduate high school, you wanted to get out of here.

After a few seconds, you were snapped out of my thoughts and looked at the clock which said 7:02. You needed to get going, otherwise you'd be late, but honestly did you even care anymore? Not like anything will change this year. Closing the door behind you, you began the trek to school.

Making it to the school, you scanned the perimeter. You had one goal in mind, and it was to avoid"them" at all costs. Luckily they weren't anywhere to be found, not yet anyways. While walking inside the school, you kept your eyes peeled at all the people around you, not looking in front of you as you walked. That wasn't the best idea because you happened to walk right into someone.

'Please don't let that be one of 'them' You prayed inside your mind as tumbled to the ground.

"Oh shit... Sorry..." An unfamiliar male's voice said as you looked up to see a male walking over.

Quickly brushing yourself, you get up, "Oh, that's okay." You replied, letting a small smile form on your face, considering it wasn't one of them. In fact, you had never seen this dude around before, in general.

"Here... Let me help you." He said, beginning to pick up some of my stuff that you didn't know that you had dropped.

"Oh... Thank you..." You said, smiling a bit more, bending down and helping him.

After handing you some of your stuff back, he spoke apologetically, "Once again, sorry about that. I should've been watching where I was going."

"No... It's quite alright. I should've been watching where I was going too." You replied, returning a smile to him.

The male nodded and then looked down at a paper in his hand, his brows furrowed slightly, "would you mind telling me where this room is? My brother just kind of left me here..." He asked, pointing at the number.

You nodded as you began to look at the paper, your eyes widened slightly, as that was your homeroom number. You concluded that he must be in your homeroom, which that's kind of cool.

"Yeah... I'll walk you there because that's where I'm going." You said, pulling out your schedule, showing him it.

He nodded and smiled a bit as the two of you began to walk.

"I never did get your name." You turned to him as we walked.

"It's Kyle..." He said, smiling a bit again.

"Nice to meet you Kyle, I'm Y/N..." You replied, returning a smile once again.

We both entered and you pointed towards a pair of seats. However, you noticed something when we walked in. All eyes were on either me or him. You had assumed that it was both of you. Eyes on him because he was a new student, and eyes on me because of the rumors about you.

You had heard some whispering coming from students and pointing as well. As you ignored it, you had hoped that Kyle didn't hear or see it either. Luckily, he didn't. We both sat there for quite a while, and you got to know him a bit. You found out that he has a brother that's a year older than him, a sister who's younger and that he just moved from his mother's house to his father's where his brother, his sister and father had already moved to after a divorce a couple of years prior. You also learned that he had to repeat his sophomore year because of the move. The next thing you knew, he looked over at the door because someone had walked in. Looking over, your eyes widened at who it was. It was someone that you didn't want to see.

Brian aka 'Terroriser'

Some might wonder why you didn't want to see him. Well, you see, he's apart of the group that hates you the most. However, you had to admit, when he's not around the group he doesn't say or do anything to me, unless the teachers pair us up. But still, you didn't want to see him. Luckily, he just glanced over at you and then sat down in his seat.

The bell had rung and it was time for everyone to go to first period. Checking your schedule, you made a note of what your classes were.

First Period: Science (Chemistry)
Second Period: Math (Algebra 2)
Third Period: English
Fourth Period: Study Hall
LUNCH
Fifth Period: Art
Sixth Period: History
Seventh Period: Gym/Free Period

You made sure to note which classes, if any, you had with Kyle. You found out that you had Algebra and History with him. Walking your way to Chemistry, you honestly hoped that there weren't any of the people in there that hate you. Especially since it's Chemistry with a full chemical lab.

Finally making it to the class, you quickly scanned the room. Thankfully no one from the group was in there. Picking your my seat you sat down.

The next thing you knew someone walked over to the desk beside you, "Um... Excuse me, is that seat taken?" It was another male. An Irish kind of voice.

Glancing up at him, you shook your head, "No... You can sit there."

He nodded and took the seat next to you, "My name's Sean... But you can call me Jack. If you'd like." He said.

Nodding, you smiled a bit more, "Y/N..."

Both of you smiled a bit and chatted for a few moments until class began.

Maybe this school year won't be as bad...

....

A/N: And that's the end of this chapter. As I said before this book is currently being rewritten to try and make it somewhat better. I can't promise that though. Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you in the next one, very, very soon. Later :)
