It was much later in the night, and Bruce was at a garden park in Bellevue, wearing his Batman suit. He patiently waited for Kara. He was far from the traffic and other city noises, it was quite peaceful, different from the chaos in Gotham. A minute later, Kara flew down, wearing her Supergirl suit. "You wanted to talk to me?" Kara asked awkwardly. Bruce took off his mask and said, "I'm glad you could make it, Kara."

"Am I in trouble? You're not mad that I'm in a relationship with your son, are you?" Kara nervously asked. "No, you're not in trouble and you didn't do anything wrong," assured Bruce, "as for your relationship with Kevin, I do have to wonder, does he know you're Supergirl?"

"He does," she confirmed, "he's definitely got that detective side from you, he's very observant. You should see him when it comes to murder mysteries, he's really good. He knows you're Batman, his mom told him when he was 10. Kev can keep a secret." Bruce gave a small smile. He looked at Kara and said, "you were very brave, saving Kevin and stopping that gunman. I want to personally thank you for saving my son. You're just as much a hero as Clark is." Kara gave a warm smile and said, "thank you Bruce, that means a lot coming from you. Does this mean we're cool?"

"Yes," confirmed Bruce, "you've earned my respect. And I'm glad to know you found someone who loves you for who you are. I'm happy for the both of you. One more thing, Kara. It isn't the powers that make a superhero worthwhile, it's the person and their heart that defines a hero and makes it worthwhile. Remember that."

For the next few days, Bruce spent quality time with Kevin and Damian, bonding with them. Kevin showed Bruce around Bellevue and Seattle, as well as parts of Issaquah, Redmond, and Renton. They were outside the city skyline, looking at the view of the rivers, the sky, and the trees. "I never tire of seeing this view," said Kevin, "no matter how many times I see it."

"Me too," agreed Damian. Bruce looked at his two sons, a sense of pride and peace, something he hardly felt. He looked at Kevin and asked, "Kevin, I know this might be off-putting of me to ask, but have you thought of your educational future after graduating high school?" Kevin was at first thrown off guard by this question. He rubbed his right shoulder and said, "well... It's kinda complicated... I know that I can't really afford to go to a major university like U-Dub, heck, I'd be lucky to afford a community college like Bellevue College."

"I'm sorry, what's U-Dub?" Bruce asked for clarification. "Oh, it's a nickname for UW," said Kevin, "short for University Of Washington, there are three in Bothell, Tacoma, and Seattle." Bruce nodded and said, "ah, I see."

"Like I said, I'd be lucky to afford U-Dub or even Bellevue College," said Kevin, "I'd have to apply for a job and save up." Bruce looked up and said, "I could help with that. How would you like to attend Gotham University? You can get a good education and I'll even pay for it myself. And I can give you a good word with one of Gotham's best chefs, and you can work with him as a job." Kevin brightened up hearing this offer. It was too good to pass up, even if it meant leaving Bellevue and Andrea and Damian. "Won't that mean Kevin will have to leave me and Mommy?" Damian asked, growing worried, "will I never get to see Kevin again?" Bruce knelt down and said, "don't worry Damian... Yes it's true that Kevin will have to leave Bellevue in order to go to college in Gotham, but we can make time to spend quality time with you every other weekend, and on holidays and your birthday. I promise Damian, I'll make sure you're able to spend time with me and your brother." Damian hugged Bruce, relieved to know he'd get to see Kevin.

Kevin then said, "I'd be happy to attend Gotham University, Dad. But only if my girlfriend Kara gets to attend that college too." Bruce nodded and said, "sounds good to me. You've got yourself a deal, Kevin." Bruce and Kevin shook hands on this deal, Kevin and Kara's future quite bright.
