The next morning, Bruce awoke from his bed. He got out of bed and spoke to Dick Grayson, letting him know that he would be out of Gotham for a few days and instructed him to be careful while on patrol, but Bruce knew that Dick would be in good hands since he would be working alongside Barbara on patrol. He went to the dining room and saw Andrea sitting at the dining table eating breakfast and drinking coffee. "Morning Bruce," said Andrea. "Morning to you as well Andrea," replied Bruce, "And good morning Alfred. Were you able to sleep comfortably in our guest room?"

"I was, thank you for asking," said Andrea. "Good morning to you as well Master Bruce," said Alfred as he served Bruce his usual cup of coffee. "Thank you Alfred. After breakfast, how about we get dressed and then we can go to my private jet and fly back to Bellevue," offered Bruce. "Sounds like a good plan," said Andrea, "And you have a private jet?" Bruce smirked a little and said, "what can I say? I'm rich." Andrea playfully rolled her eyes and said, "go figure." After finishing breakfast and getting dressed, Bruce and Andrea got into his private jet that was in his garage. Bruce started the jet and the jet flew out of Wayne Manor, leaving Gotham City. "The jet's on autopilot," informed Bruce, "we should be in Bellevue in less than six hours."

Meanwhile with Kevin, he was able to handle being the man of the house since Andrea left. He was able to pick up Damian and make sure he behaved. The high school was still reeling from the attempted shooting, many assignments and tests were postponed so that students could help process what happened, and teachers allowed the students to speak to school counselors to help them come to grips with it all. And Kara was there for Kevin. After Damian was picked up from school and brought home, Kara came over and hung out with her boyfriend. It was the early evening in Bellevue Washington, and Kara was with Kevin and Damian at the Beaumont household. She and Kevin were on the couch, her arm was around Kevin's shoulder as he laid his head on her breasts. Damian was on the second couch, and they had just finished watching Aladdin. Damian was quite fond of the animated Disney, it was practically one of his favorites, he also liked Abu and Iago aside from the titular character, and The Genie was funny. Kevin sighed happily, "I never tire of watching that film."

"Yeah, that film is a lot of fun," agreed Kara. She smiled sweetly at her boyfriend. "So Kara, what's one career you've been interested in taking?" Kevin asked casually. "Well, I'm interested in pursuing a career in journalism," said Kara, "It has a lot to do with spending time with my cousin and his wife." She giggled a little. "Really? Well I think you would make an amazing reporter," encouraged Kevin. "Thanks babe," replied Kara, "What about you? What's one career you're interested in?"

"Well, I was thinking of pursuing a culinary career, especially since I love to cook," replied Kevin. "Oh really? That sounds interesting," said Kara. "Yeah, when I was a kid, I would help my mom with cooking anything around the kitchen," explained Kevin, "it helped us really bond. She used to call me her little chef." Kara giggled, "awww, that's cute."

"Kevin's really good at cooking," agreed Damian, "he makes great mac and cheese and burgers too!" Kevin gave a playful smirk and said, "If you want Kara, maybe I could cook up a pizza for a date on Saturday, you and me." Kara blushed and said, "I'd like that. Then I can see how good of a cook you are." She playfully kissed his cheek. Suddenly, Kara could hear a jet flying over to Bellevue, and it looked like it was headed towards the Beaumont household. "Do you hear something?" Kevin asked. "Yeah, it sounds like a jet headed towards this place," said Kara. She could hear the jet landing outside the household. She could recognize the two heartbeats, one of them was obviously Andrea, the other was surprisingly Bruce's heartbeat. She heard them get out of the jet, casually speaking. The door opened and Andrea said, "boys, I'm home! And I brought a surprise!" Kevin and Damian stood up from the couch and Dami said, "hi Mommy!"

"Oh hi Miss Beaumont..." Kara said with surprise, "I was just, uh, hanging out with Kevin." Andrea nodded and said, "well it's good to see you too Kara. Now Kevin, I know that you've always wanted to meet your father in some way. The reason that I temporarily left Bellevue is well..." She looked to the door, and in came Bruce! The billionaire looked at Kevin and Damian, and he could immediately tell the two boys were his sons. Kevin reminded Bruce of when he was a younger man and when he was happy with Andrea, and Damian reminded Bruce of the innocent youth he used to be. Kevin's eyes widened in shock seeing his father face to face. "Dad, I mean, Bruce, I mean Dad, I mean Mr Wayne..." Kevin stuttered, wondering if this was real. "So you must be Andrea's son Kevin." Bruce said in his suave billionaire playboy voice, "Your mother tells me you've been wanting to meet me ever since you were a child."

"It's true sir, I mean, can I call you Dad?" Kevin stammered. Bruce smiled and said, "of course you can, Kevin. It's nice to finally meet you, son. Put 'er there!" Kevin didn't hesitate to shake his father's hand. Damian looked up at Bruce and asked, "are you my daddy too?" Bruce knelt down on one knee and said, "that's right Damian, I'm your father. Andrea tells me you're quite the bright student." He looked at both of his sons and said, "I want to apologize for not knowing about the both of you sooner." Kevin smiled and said, "I'm just glad that we're getting this chance to meet you for the first time. It really is a dream come true for me and Damian." Bruce smiled and said, "well I promise, I will do my best to help make up for lost time and be a better father to both of you." Kevin and Damian then hugged Bruce. Andrea was moved to tears seeing this reunion. Kara listened to Bruce's heartbeat, and she could tell that even though his heart was beating fast from being nervous, there was genuine love in his face and care for his sons. It reminded her of her father Zor El and her guardian Jeremiah.

As Bruce stood back up, Kevin said, "oh where are my manners? Dad, this is my girlfriend, Kara Danvers. Her family lives next door to our neighborhood." Kara adjusted her glasses and said, "hi! Nice to meet you, Mr Wayne. I got a pen pal in Gotham, she's the commissioner's daughter." Bruce perked up a little and asked in reply, "oh Barbara?" Kara nodded and said, "that's her! There a way you could tell her I said hi?" Bruce smiled and said, "why sure, of course!" He non-verbally mouthed some words to Kara, telling her to meet him at a park to talk. Kara hoped she wasn't in trouble.
