A/n- Warning, this chapter and the one following include very sensitive subjects such as depression and suicide. Please read at your own risk!!

*And another warning: This song is extremely depressing, so if you decide to listen to it while reading this, good luck. It is an incredible song though! I recommend you listen, just not at the same time because you may start crying.

*Ugh...my mom keeps saying that Adrien only sees Marinette as a friend (and she's talking about S2!!) and that they'll always be "just friends."😑 It's so obvious that he feels something more than friendship for her. She's only seen a couple of episodes too, so...yeah.

Marinette wore the yellow dress on Monday with tan heels. Tikki had helped her pull her hair up into a bun and helped her with her eyeliner, mascara, and blush. She also added light pink eyeshadow and peach pink lipgloss.

"Ready?" Her Kwami asked.

Marinette looked at herself in the mirror and took a deep breath. Maybe she could do this after all. "Yeah. Let's go."

"Good morning, sweetie!" Sabine smiled at her daughter when she came downstairs for breakfast, putting on her fake smile.

"Good morning, Maman and Papa!"

Tom looked up from his magazine. "My daughter is looking lovely today! Trying to impress a certain guy?"

"No," she laughed. "Just dressing up."

"Sure," he teased, winking at Sabine. "Your mother used to do that all the time in high school, but she could catch my eye with anything."

"Guys," The bluenette rolled her eyes. "Gross." Both of then laughed, her mother handing her a bagel. "Thanks, mom."

"Oh, I also have a couple dozen macaroons! You can share them with your class this morning!" Marinette frowned as her mother turned around to grab the boxes. Like they'd take anything from me.

"Here you go, dear," she handed her the desserts, then gave her a light kiss on the forehead. "Have a great day at school. We love you, Marinette."

She turned to head out the front door. "I love you guys too." Marinette took the short route to school. The sooner I get there, the sooner it's over.

"So I was thinking," Chloe asked Sabrina. "Should I get a perm? Or would that just look ugly?"

"Like you don't already?" Alex commented, starting up a fit laughter in the classroom.

"Hey!" She snapped. "At least I'm not Marinette."

Alex rolled her eyes. "And what is so bad about Marinette, Chloe?"

"Everything," the blonde laughed. "I mean, I would seriously hate to be here right now." Just then, Adrien walked in, and Chloe's malicious smirk grew wider. "Right, Adrikins?" Although he had no idea what she was talking about, he only ignored her, taking his seat. "Fine. Be that way."

A few more minted passed, and the classroom was filled. Everyone was talking about what they did over he weekend and what they were going to do this week. Then Marinette walked in. The room fell silent. Adrien took one look at her and his heart exploded. She looked absolutely stunning.

As she passed by Chloe and Sabrina, Chloe noticed that Adrien was still looking at her. Ugh, after all this, he still likes her?! She let out a fake laugh. "Wow, Maritrash. Nice dress! Oh, and are those macaroons? As if we'd share them with someone who has syphilis!" Her and Sabrina were the only ones laughing. The rest of the class just remained silent, except for Adrien, who glared at her, standing up.

"Leave her alone, Chloe! You've already done enough!"

"What are you gonna do, Adrikins? Beat me up?"

"No, but I'd like to!" He retorted before sitting back down. Marinette raised both eyebrows in surprise at his words. Was Adrien the only one left still feeling sorry for me? She sighed, slumping down in her seat.

It was the same thing everyday. Marinette got up with burning eyes from crying the night before, went to school to be insulted and mocked, and then came home just to see things on the internet that hurt her even further. Alya glanced at Marinette, a small frown on her face. Remember, Alya. She kissed your boyfriend. Deep down inside, a part of her that Marinette would never have done that on purpose. But she kept seeing that picture that Chloe sent out to everyone. It looked like she wanted to...maybe... Now that she thought about it, she really didn't know anymore.

Marinette had a bowl of chicken noodle soup for lunch and shared some with Tikki, because the Kwami has never tried any before. "You'd think that living all those years, you would at least try some soup," the bluenette said.

"Sorry, I cant help if i have a sweet tooth." They both giggled.

"Tikki," Marinette said after catching her breath. "You're an amazing friend."

"You are too!" The tiny ladybug smiled.

"No I'm not," she shook her head, a couple teardrops streaming down her face. "I'm really not." She wiped them away with the palm of her hand.

"Well then...you're a good person?"

"I don't know... I thought so."

"And you still are." Marinette gave her Kwami a half smile.

Chemistry class wasn't much better. Once again, Chloe and Sabrina mocked her while Adrien attempted to stand up for her, but it never worked.

"I hope she accidentally spills poisonous chemical on herself," a student said. "Then the meme will come true!" Her friend laughed along with her. It seemed only she and one other person behind her heard, because Adrien didn't come to her defense at that time. Unless he really does want me to die, she thought. I wouldn't blame him.

When shock ended, it was pouring rain. When Marinette stepped outside, she was reminded of a time when everything was good. When everything was...perfect. She could still see Adrien's face as he handed her his umbrella. She reached out her hand, as if she was going to grab it again, but there was nothing there. Was it all fake? To mess with her mind? Was he just like Chloe after all, and he was better at pretending?

The bluenette hears footsteps behind her, and saw Alya out of the corner of her eye. "Alya..." she whispered, not meaning for her to hear it, but she did. The ombré haired girl paused, standing right across from her. "I..." Marinette began. "I'm sorry about Nino. I didn't kiss him on purpose. You can believe whatever you want, but...I didn't. That's all." Marinette promptly turned around and walked down the steps.

Alya watched as her former friend walked away. She opened her mouth to say something, but no words came out. All that was left to be heard was the patter of raindrops on the pavement.

Marinette got home, and her parents had left her a note that read: Your father and I went to a movie and then we're going out to eat. There is spaghetti in the cabinet. Love you Mari!

                                               ~Mom

Smiling, Marinette went up to her room to do homework on her laptop. The tab she had on Twitter was still up, so she decided to check that first. She saw she had a new message from Lila. Not again. She really didn't know why she opened it. Like always, she just felt like she needed to.

L: Hey Maritrash...check out this new post by me!

There was a link right below her message. "I wouldn't even look," Tikki said.

"I'm sure it's just another stupid meme..." Marinette rolled her eyes. She clicked on it. At the top of the post was Lila's anonymous account name called stephanie270. The bluenette scrolled down and read: Petition For Maritrash To Kill Herself: Sign in the comments and state your reason why.

Marinette turned away, breathing heavily as the tears came on. Did she dare look at the comments? Hand shaking, she scrolled down. There were at least fifty comments.

Random person (Rp): I'm definitely signing! Marinette is an ugly whore!

Rp 2: I'm signing too! Maritrash deserves to die!

Rp 3: I'm signing because she's a manipulative slut.

Rp 4: I'm signing because if she killed herself, the world would be a much better place. Besides, no one will miss her.

And the list went on. Everyone had a reason, even if it wasn't true about her. Marinette covered her face with her hands as she continued to sob, her shoulders shaking like crazy.

"Marinette!" Tikki yelled, turning the computer off. "You need to calm down! It's ok, you're great! Don't listen to them!" The girl continued to cry into her hands, and began pulling on her hair in anger.

"I-I can't take...I can't take it anymore!" She screamed, rocking herself back and forth in her chair.

"Um...I'm gonna go get some cookies and cake and brownies, and...the sweet stuff I can friend from the bakery! That should cheer you up!" The Kwami zoomed through the trapdoor and downstairs.

The bluenette got up from her chair, pacing around her room. Back and forth, back and forth. She turned the computer back on again, and there were ten new comments.

Rp: Signed! The world already has enough sluts!

Rp 2: Signing because she sounds like the most worthless person ever!

Marinette stared at the comments, reading them over and over again. Although people had different "reasons," they were all here for the same thing: for her to kill herself. The people in her grade wanted her dead, people she didn't even know wanted her dead. I want me dead.

Marinette ripped out a piece of paper from one of her school notebooks, teardrops falling onto the page before she began to write.

Dear mom & dad,
I know you're probably really angry or sad, but I just couldn't take it anymore. Everyday, people made fun of me at school and on the Internet. I lost all my friends, and everybody just hates me, including me. I've realized how big of a problem I am to you and to everyone else. I am so sorry for any pain I've caused you two. But then again, they said no one would miss me, so who knows if you will?

   I love you both,
~Marinette

She folded up the letter and placed it under her pillow before Tikki came in with a box of cookies with brownies on the top. "I got you desserts!"

"Uh..." Marinette said. "Was there any ice cream down there?"

"Yeah, do want that too?" She nodded, and Tikki was gone again. Now she needed to write a letter to her.

Tikki,
You were the best Kwami and friend ever! I'm so thankful for all the time we got to spend together, whether I was Marinette or Ladybug. Thank you for always trying to cheer me up. I'm sorry for any sadness I've caused you. I hope you can understand why I did this.

Love your best friend,
~Marinette

The bluenette took a deep breath and folded the half paper, placing it under her little Kwami bed. How am I gonna do this? She looked towards her balcony, but thought twice. No. I could survive that.

"Alright," Tikki was back with a rub of ice cream.

"Oh...Tikki, you didn't have to get the whole tub. Just a cone with a couple scoops will do. You know how to do that, right?"

"Yeah," She said. "It'll just take a while."

"That's fine," Marinette nodded quickly. Once again, the Kwami went down to the bakery.

Marinette blinked, tears streaming down her face again. She sunk to her knees beside her chaise, feeling it one last time. She needed to feel everything in her room one last time. She slowly walked around, running her hand across the walls, across her bedsheets, across her desk. She opened her closet, and saw the dress she had spent weeks working on for the Spring Dance. The one Adrien was going to take her to next month. Then she saw a black umbrella in the bottom right corner. She bent down, slowly running her hand across its fabric. The moment she touched it, a flashback of memories came flooding back into her mind.

"I've never been to school before; never had any real friends. It's all sort of...new to me."

That broke her. Really broke her. The boy she loved did not love her back. And he would never, especially after what Chloe said about her.

She saw a picture of her, Alya, Adrien, and Nino from a few months ago eating at Andre's. She reminded that day like the back of her hand.

"I bet I could finish this before all of you and get no brain freeze!" Alya challenged with a giggle.

"Oh yeah?" Marinette had said. "You're on!"

The bluenette only cried more. She almost didn't want to go. But they hated her now. They all hated her. It was all my fault. All my fault...

Medicine. I need prescription medicine. She turned to the bathroom in her room, knowing for a fact that her mom kept her prescription pills in the top drawer. Making sure Tikki wasn't coming up anytime soon, she quickly walked into the bathroom, shut the door, and locked it.

Marinette found the pills, and stood on her tiptoes to reach it. She looked on the back for the instructions.

WARNING: Do not take more than two pills within a twelve hour period.

She looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot from crying. "She's so ugly."

"She's so fake!"

"Shes a whore."

"She's a slut!"

"So you're saying this is my fault?!" "Maybe its is!"

"You're so pitiful, Maritrash!"

"Adrien will never love you!"

"Who would wanna date her?"

"At least I'm not Marinette."

"She deserves to die!"

"Your life sucks really bad now. Maybe you should just kill yourself."

Kill yourself...

Kill yourself...

Kill yourself...

No one will miss you.

Marinette's hand shook like crazy as she opened the cap. No more pain. There will be no more pain. She slowly stepped into the bathtub and shakily laid down, staring at the ceiling for a while. Just do it, Marinette! Do you want to live though another day like this? Do you want to live like this for the rest of your life?!

She quickly poured a handful of pills onto her palm. You're worthless. No one will miss you. It's ok. There will be no more pain. No more...

Marinette put the pills in her mouth.

A/n- I cried while writing this. Anyways, it's not over yet, so don't worry!
