PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Lilith Benson is reserved and stand-offish. She does not like to talk to people at all unless she knows them and her stoicism is often mistaken for rudeness. She acts like she does not care about what people think of her, but deep down, she cares a lot. She sees herself as a villain, even though she is actually a hero.
  Her first instinct is to always put others before herself. She can sometimes be stubborn, which is an issue, and her insecurities as well as her emotional instability make her dangerous to be around sometimes.
  Despite her unstable emotions, she is unwavering in her quest to do good and find peace within herself.

CHARACTER ARC: Lilith Benson was born with a gene called the metagene. The doctors discovered it a few days after she was born. Her parents decided that they didn't want her because of that and they put her up for adoption. No one ever adopted her and she spent her childhood moving from foster home to foster home, where she was shunned and typically abused due to her genetic difference. She was never aware of her powers because no one told her about them until she discovered them herself.
  When Lilith was fifteen years old, she and her friend from one of her foster homes were being bullied by a group of boys at a costume party. The bullying turned into harassment, and the intense emotional distress that Lilith was under triggered her metagene. She unintentionally killed her friends and the bullies, leaving her scarred and traumatized.
  She went on the run and her identity was unknown for a few years. When she was seventeen years old, she decided that she wanted to kill herself, until she was found by a woman named Caitlin Snow, who took Lilith back to STAR Labs where she met other metahumans like her. Slowly, Lilith learned to control her powers and eventually felt at home there. She only uses her powers as vigilante when she has to and is haunted by the death of her best friend every day.
