15. Secret Netflix
To say Stiles was pissed was an understatement, in fact he was beyond infuriated and all of it was due to his older brother who didn't seem to give a shit about their issues. It's not like Stiles wanted to press the issue but he needed to know how to help his twin. It wasn't like he could help it either, ever since they had been younger and Bugs hadn't been able to contain his anger issues Stikes had taken it upon himself to help his brother.
When they were just young boys Bugs had shown signs of being slightly different to his spastic brother, for one he was an angry child. And not just the normal tantrum filled boy who would turn bright red and throw his toys in a fiery rage, no, Bugs had been much more difficult. Stiles could remember times when they had been just about to graduate elementary school, Bugs barely reaching five feet tall and already he was beating up boys almost in high school. He could remember those days where the big kids would pick on Scott or him, Bugs immediately jumping to their defense. He would go from the smiling boy with a fascination to computers to a defensive man capable of taking down 3 fourteen year old boys and coming out with a only a few scratches.
Doctors and professionals would caution the Stilinski family about his short fuse but Stiles never let that borrow him, they had shared their mothers wombs for nine months and he would be damned if a couple of shrinks would suddenly turn his brother into the outcast. As still a preteen boy he decided his brother was his own responsibility, so he took it upon himself to keep Bugs from falling into that dark abyss inside his mind. There was a few techniques he used, many of which were just keeping his brothers attention away from problems and others were helping him through those problems.
The young Stiles however came to discover one important idea he would not understand until years later. Even though Bugs would yell and scream angrily that he didn't want to share his feelings and he would block out the world so his dark thoughts would be contained Stiles knew he wanted to set them free. He knew a silent Bugs Stilinski was like a rumbling volcano, only the beginning to the mass destruction awaiting to occur. So that is why he took it upon himself to constantly press his brother for his thoughts and feelings, that's why from the moment he was first "diagnosed" Stiles would wake his brother up at midnight on weekends and the two would stand outside on the grass of their front lawn, watching as dew formed around the cool grass surrounding their legs and Stiles would speak to his brother.
Stiles Stilinski came to realize years later he was Bugs' tether.
Not only would he take time to listen to his brothers frustrations, no matter how idiotic they were, but he would also pull him back when his mind had taken a dark turn. For instance after their mother had died Bugs' had taken it upon himself to watch over Stiles, sealing every emotion harboring inside him shut and focusing solely on his brother. Stiles suffered from panic attacks after their mother died and he knew just what Bugs was doing, problem was he had no control over his own emotions so he couldn't really keep Bugs' in check as well. It wasn't until one day, when they were at the local skatepark. Scott was with them although he had kept to the side as his severe asthma prevented him from participating in the sport and Stiles wasn't risking his fear of heights for a panic attack. So both boys watched Bugs, waiting for the eldest twin to get bored of his Tony Hawk phase so they could go get a burger downtown when it happened.
Some kids, maybe two years or so older then them came over. Scott had his inhaler in hand and was fumbling around with it when suddenly it was yanked from his grasp by the kids who began throwing it over Scotts head, bullying the shit out of him as they continued to tell crude things to the young boy who was growing short of breath. Bugs hadn't been watching for the first minute, it wasn't until his ears had caught the distinctive sound of his best friends wheezing when his neck had practically snapped in the direction. Stiles hadn't even thought of his brothers reaction, trying to reason with the older boys and falling miserably. He was growing shaky as he knew his best friend could die all because of these two stupid idiots.
He was about to yell or scream, say anything to hopefully stop them when from behind the one currently holding the inhaler over Scotts head Bugs appeared . Stiles watched on in horror as his brother took the skateboard between both his hands and smacked it against the back of the bullies knees. He practically broke the board with the impact, Bugs jaw tightening as his green eyes darkened and he went over to the next one who was frozen in shock. Bugs didn't hesitate to swing the board straight into the second bullies abdomen, a distinctive crack being heard. To this day Stiles didn't know if it was the board or the bullies ribcage. The bullies dropped to the floor with a cry, clutching at broken limbs and one of them dropping the inhaler. The eldest twin brother picked it up and threw it at Scott who was quick to take a puff. Meanwhile Stiles watched on as Bugs looked over the boys, his hand fisting tightly and shaking. He was about to continue to cause them pain, Stiles could just see it in his eyes.
Stiles snapped out of his own troubles, jumping into action and grabbing at his brothers arm. He yelled and pulled at Bugs, yanking him away from the scene as kids stopped to watch. Bugs hadn't made a sound, his facial expressions not changing as they ran a block before Scott could no longer take it. Stiles had eventually snapped his brother out of his trance, after much yelling and shaking his brother had come back.
Stiles knew in that moment that even if Bugs would forever protect him physically he had to be there for his brother mentally.
And having Bugs shut him out was not part of that plan.
That's why Stiles was pissed at his brother.

Chris Argent typed across one of the laptops that was being specifically used to lure in the Benefactor by contacting him through the Orphans account. Bugs was watching over his shoulder, knowing it would have taken centuries to crack into the account undetected and it was a blessing they had been given the password to enter. For obvious reason he hadn't given them his codes to use although it certainly would have sped this process along.
"Now?" Stiles frustrated sigh escaped his lips as he too had grown impatient. Something has changed on the screen however which prompted him to ask the question.
Bugs bit his bottom lip in anticipation, watching as Chris typed a statement quickly. "Now."
"That's your assassin speak?" Stiles questioned, looking at Chris oddly.
"I said he's dead. What more do you want?"
Chris stared right back, cocking his head at the teenage twin in confusion.
Stiles sighed, moving his hand in a circle at the screen, "It was a little dry. You could've said something like, Target has been neutralized. The crow flies at midnight. That's always cool."
"The crow flies at midnight? What kind of shit do you watch on Netflix?" Bugs sassed his brother from the other side of the Argent man, forcing Chris to move his head from side to side and keep up with the fast paced conversation.
"It's a secret," Stiles retorted to his brother with narrowed eyes, in response his brother rolled his eyes and switch his gaze back to the screen. "And Enough movies to know that's too bland."
"Hmm." Chris seemed thoughtful for a second, gesturing for Stiles to place his own fingers on the keyboard. "Type this, Visual confirmation isn't possible. Police coming to claim body in forty minutes. Tell him number one on the list is dead. I killed him. And if the wire transfer isn't completed in forty minutes..."
Obviously Stiles wasn't typing as fast as possible, Chris bumped him out of the way. His fingers practically broke the keys off the laptop as he finished writing with anger.
"I'll come and kill you."

The plan was set in motion, everything was now ready to be put in motion and now all the players waited for the perfect moment. Chris was somewhere searching the halls for any strangers while Melissa and Noshiko were parked near the lobby. The group of teenagers, excluding Lydia and Malia, were waiting in the morgue with Scott's nearly dead body. Kira and Liam were there to make sure no one got near enough to Scott's body to take it for the prize while Stiles monitored the laptops for any suspicious activity.
Bugs didn't quite know why he was there if he was being honest with himself, he supposed it had something to do with keeping Scott safe but he couldn't do anything like Liam or Kira... well not without consequences and Stiles was barely talking to him so he assumed the boy wouldn't want him anywhere near him in the moment. So he was stuck in the awkward middle of the room, behind Liam who kept watching the front door for anyone.
He supposed he didn't need to be there, no one really needed his assistance since Stiles seemed to be doing well with computer screens without him. It still was safer to be here with the pack then at home. And he wasn't keen on going home only to drive himself insane with the many worries crowding his mind.
He sighed in annoyance for the umpteenth time, swiveling on his heel just as Liam walked past him to look at the monitors. Liam's blue eyes moved between each screen, lingering on each screen for a few seconds before freezing on one which alarmed everyone else enough to crowd around the screens.
Liam spoke up as all their eyes fell upon a black screen. "Is that supposed to look like that?"
His blue eyes and question were caste upon Stiles who shook his head quickly. "No. No, it's not."
"Where is that?" Kira furrowed her brows.
Bugs was the first to answer as he knew exactly where every monitor was out. "The roof. I'm gonna have to check it out."
"Are you kidding me? Right now?" Stiles cut his brother off, shaking his head adamantly. "Fuck no."
"He's right Bugs. It's safer if I go." Kira explained to the teenager who was ready to snap at his younger twin.
"Whoa, whoa there Samaurai." Bugs halted Kira by stepping in front of her. "This might not just be a malfunction."
Kira lifted her arm, showcasing the sword. "That's why I'm bringing this."
Bugs gave in and dropped his arm, letting her walk past him while Liam followed. "I'm coming with you."
Bugs and Stiles both shot their heads towards their retreating bodies in concern. Stiles yelling, "Okay. And you're both coming right back. Immediately."
"Don't die! Scott would be really pissed at us if that happened!" Bugs added at the end.
Stiles stared oddly at him for a second before sighing and looking back down to his screen. "kids."
Bugs nodded, noticing how Stiles immediately went silent and his jaw tightened in anger. He knew his brother was pissed, incredibly so and it was his job to annoy the boy until he finally talked to him.
"So you still pissed?" Bugs shyly asked, stepping closer to the table Stiles stood behind.
"If I answer the way I want too you'll know just how pissed off I actually I am at you." Stiles said through gritted teeth.
"Stiles... come on man." Bugs groaned. "Look we can talk..."
"Talk? Really you want to talk? Your definition of talking is dancing around the real topic until I finally get frustrated enough to leave you the fuck alone so you know what? I'm done talking to you, you don't want to tell me fine. I'll find out by myself." Stiles snapped at his brother.
"We've talked about this Stiles..." Bugs sighed in defeat. "I can't tell you... you don't want to know."
"Why? Why the fuck do I not want to know what's got you so messed up? If it's not Malia then it's obviously something else." Stiles continued to cut into Bugs who only tightened his fists in response.
As he went to respond, not really knowing what to say just speaking out of anger the lights above their heads began to flicker until eventually they just went dead. The room going dark except for the emergency light in the corner.
Bugs looked at his brother, "Call Chris."
Stiles hugged in huffed in anger and yanked out his phone. Quickly calling Chris while his hand slammed against the metal table that now held nothing but blank computers.
"The power's out in the whole building. I lost all the cameras." He spoke to the phone.
"Stay with Scott. Text me if you see or hear anything."
He ended the call afterwards, leaving both twins in silence. Bugs hoped that Liam and Kira would return soon so someone could fill this awkward tension. He was starting to get pissed at Stiles for invading his privacy, fair enough his brother was coming from a place of concern but he had asked his brother multiple times not to get involved. He had every reason not to include Stiles or any of the pack members in what was happening with him, for one it was dangerous for them to know about his name on the assassin list but another reason was he didn't want to distort their vision on him.
The green eyed boy was positive most of his pack had a vague idea what he was about and he was more then happy to keep them assuming that way but he knew the moment they discovered his true nature. What he was truly capable of... none of them would want to have a thing to do with him. Bugs admitted that he kept the secret to himself for mostly selfish reason but he also did it so his brothers wouldn't feel guilt ridden and his pack wouldn't be terrified.
"What the hell do we do now?" Stiles questioned, his eyes trained on the door hiding them from anyone coming to get the True Alphas dead body.
"We keep Scott safe," Bugs answered bravely, taking a step in front of the morgue door.
"You and I? What the hell are we going to do? We can barely communicate with one another let alone defend ourselves and Scott against some murderous assassins." Stiles bluntly answered his brother, moving the table of laptops to the side.
Bugs tightened his jaw in further annoyance as his patience with his little brother grew shorter and shorter. He could feel his fuse beginning to grow close to detonation and with his brother so close eh wasn't sure it would be able to contain his eruption. Stiles knew this which pissed him off further, Stiles was purposely pushing his buttons so he could spill the beans. The truth was on the tip of Bugs tongue and if Stiles didn't keep his little comment to himself he would be getting the answers he was desperately wanting.... whether Bugs wanting to tell him or not.

"Come on, come on. Answer the phone. Answer the phone, Argent. Come on, Argent, answer the phone. Why are you not answering the phone?" Stiles murmured as he paced behind his brother, harshly whispering into the phone as from outside things grew eerily still.
"Why the hell do you keep calling him?" Bugs growled to his younger sibling right before he went to redial the hunter.
Stiles dropped the phone from his ear, looking at his brother. " Because someone has to be able to take care of Scott. What the hell do you think you and I are going to be able to do? If Malia was here we might have a shot but guess that's another person you ran off with all your secrets huh?"
"ALRIGHT!" Bugs turned in one fury, hearing the snap of his control in his mind and sensing the anger radiating off his skin. Stiles knew that was a low blow... very low blow and one that was going to cost him. "That's enough! I'm done with your shit today Stiles! You are the last person to be getting angry about keeping the secret from Malia! You were practically encouraging me not to tell her! And another thing if you hate secrets so much fine! I'll give you what you want asshole! You want to know what I've been keeping from you? What I've been staying quiet about and taking your shit for? I'm one of the assassins on the deadpool!"
If the assassins had no clue where Scott's body was being held they knew now because Bugs had yelled the last of his sentence in one furious huff. He couldn't lie, seeing the emotion leave Stiles face and his feet stagger like the statement had physically hurt him was satisfying to a deep part of the eldest twin. Stiles had asked for the truth and he had received nothing but. Bugs didn't even care anymore, one of the biggest secrets he was keeping had now been set free and to a part of him it felt glorious, like he was finally giving into his true self.
Stiles eyes watered for a second, his adams apple bobbing up and down as he searched fro the words before the broken words came out. "You're what?"
Bugs didn't get a chance to even answer his brother as the door behind them burst open and Chris came staggering in with blood dripping down his face.
"I was right. Stiles, Bugs, get out of here." Chris warned them, Kate walking in right behind him as she held a gun to the three.
"Get out of the way, boys. I'm taking the body." Kate threatened, pointing the gun between the twins to show she meant business.
Bugs didn't budge, standing his ground and raising a brow as if to challenge the women while Stiles stepped a little further in front and questioned. "Why? Visual confirmation?"
Kate smirked, her cunning grin deadly as ever as she didn't waver to answer. "Don't worry, handsome. I'm not The Benefactor."
"Then what the hell do you want with the body?" Bugs shot right back, tightening his fists and reminding himself not to do anything stupid. He couldn't get his brother and knowing Kate she wouldn't hesitate to shoot.
"I wish I could tell you." She coyly answered, her eyes trained on the green eyed twin. There was something in her eyes that sent a spike of fear through the green eyed twin... like she knew something and it was strangely similar yet he couldn't place his finger on it in that moment but he was sure he had seen it before. "You're awfully calm for someone who's got a gun pointed at their face Bugsy boy."
Bugs took a step closer, the gun inches from his chest as he shrugged daringly. "You're not the first person to point a gun at my face this week, Kate, and I doubt you'll be the last."
Chris who had been strangely quiet through the whole ordeal suddenly spun around, revealing a second gun as he pointed it straight at Kate who didn't hesitate to look at her own brother without fear. "I always forget you carry two."
"Back off!" Argent yelled at his sister who hadn't wavered when the threat had been made her way and Chris took the safety off the gun.
"You sure you can pull the trigger fast enough?" Kate dared her brother.
"I don't want to." Chris answered. Bugs watched this small interaction, glancing at his brother in his peripheral who was like a statue. His brother barely nodded at him telling him he was calm even though there were guns being pointed everywhere. Bugs nodded right back, even though he could still feel some residual anger inside him for what his brother had made him reveal he was going to make sure Stiles came out of this alive before ever yelling at him about it. Bugs was praying that either Kira or Liam were going to show up as backup for this and help get rid of Kate although her doubted it cause wherever there was Kate her Beserkers tended to follow and he knew that's what had turned off the electricity to the building and what was keeping his friend occupied.
"You're not going to kill me." Kate countered to her brothers words.
"I'm not going to let you take his body." Chris simply replied, showing that he wasn't playing games with his sister this time.
"Okay, well, obviously, you guys have a lot to talk about, so, maybe I saw some coffee, a vending machine outside." Stiles tried to break some of the tension in the room with a trademark Stilinski joke although Bugs looked at him to stay quiet and not bring any immediate attention upon himself.
"Listen to me, Kate. We have a plan." Chris ignored the teenagers words and brought his sisters attention back to him.
Kate smirked, looking at the alphas body behind the twins, "If killing Scott was part of it, you're worse than me."
"He's not dead." Bugs corrected the were-jaguar.
Stiles nodded his head at the women and explained, "he's telling the truth. We're trying to get to The Benefactor."
"If you didn't notice sweetheart, you're on that list too. And you're worth more than most." Bugs reminded the women, his voice irritated with the long standoff.
"That's why I'm here." She replied back, revealing her own plans for the body.
"Then back off and let us do what we planned. Take the Berserkers, and go. Kate, please. We have a plan." Chris pleaded with his little sister, further giving her a reason to leave and let them handle the problem.
After another tense moment Kate reluctantly left, walking back slowly as both her and her brother dropped their guns and she left with only a few words. "I'll be back soon."

Bugs hadn't wasted a moment to disappear after everything seemed to calm down. He was so pissed at Stiles his blood was literally boiling. There was no way Stiles would approach him to have a civil conversation because even if he tried Bugs would blow up in his face and the whole pack would come to find out the truth. Bugs couldn't risk that and besides he also knew looking at Stiles right now could quite possibly end in a bloody fight and explaining that to his father would also be a pain in the ass.
So the eldest Stilinski with one two many problems did his own version of therapy and drove to the nearest convenience store and grabbed every candy in the aisle. Sugar was his favorite way to get rid of stress and calm down from his rage trip. He had practically bought the whole store and planned to spend the night devouring his body weight in it. The teenager had missed doing this, it use too be his go to way of calming down but after Scott became a werewolf and problems began to come a daily occurrence he realized he needed to cut back. Now however he couldn't see another way of stopping the monster rage from further wrecking havoc.
His arm was holding a plastic bag holding diabetes as he ran up the stairs to his room. He was just about to walk in when he caught site of Malia sitting on his bed, her arms holding the white paper with the last deadpool list. It had been sitting on his dresser since the night she had left.
His breathing cut short as he looked for words to speak to his girlfriend... well possibly former girlfriend. She had a blank look on her face, staring right back at him without a word.
"Hey. You're back. Where have you been?" The rush of words finally left Bugs mouth in one quick mess. He dropped the bag of candy at his door, walking in with relief. Something had gone right that night for once.
Malia sighed, standing as she explained. "Talking to Peter."
Bugs didn't want to judge her for speaking to Satan himself, he knew she was curious about her brith parents. Who wouldn't be? He tried to answer as impartial as he could. "Okay. You think that's a good idea?"
"If he can help me find my mother, I don't think I care." She flatly answered him.
"You might be related to him, but you're not like him. You're not a monster. " Bugs could read the thoughts running through her mind, he always could and right now he could see she was remembering all the stories Stiles and him had told her about how horrifying Peter was. He wanted to reassure the girl that she was nothing like him.
"Maybe I am. That night I caused the car crash..." She answered, her eyes ducking down to the paper in her hand, her voice drifting off s Bugs could see she was remembering.
"You mean when you were out-of-control on the full moon." Bugs clarified to her.
She sighed, walking past him and through his bedroom door so she could go into Stiles. Bugs followed behind her, confused by her actions as she stopped in front of the board Stiles wrote all his theories on. She spoke, ignoring what Bugs had just said to him as she revealed that nights occurrences. "There's a part I didn't tell you about. Right before we got in the car, my mother... My adoptive mother, I guess... We got into a huge fight. I don't even remember what it was about, but... I remember what I said.
"Malia. Whatever you said it wasn't your fault, you didn't know what happened. How could you have" Bugs attempted to reason with the girl who seemed to far gone in her own memories to even notice him.
He was right she was barely paying attention to him as she finished her story with a tight voice. "I said, "I wish you were all dead."
Bugs shook his head at the girl, refusing to accept her own perception on herself. She wasn't right about the person she was going to be, just because had been a certain way didn't mean she would also become that person. "Killing doesn't run in a family Malia, you are nothing like Peter. It's not possible."
Malia quietly taped the white paper to the board, turning back to look at him as her lips tightened before she spoke to him. "Maybe it does in mine."
