"Alright guys! Time to practice spikes!" It's another day of Nekoma boys volleyball team's usual practice and everyone were doing their best. Even Kenma was willing to take more time on practicing since the competition is coming soon.

"Kenma-san! Give me one deadly toss!!" Lev shouted. 

"No."

"But why?!? I got it last time!" 

"You'll probably miss again." 

After a long time of non-stop practicing, Lev finally manage to spike without missing. But for a "deadly" spike, he'll still mess it up.

"Lev, go practice your recieves with Yaku." Kuroo manage to "rescue" Kenma from being clung by Lev.

"What? Again?!? My neck feel so stiff from always looking down when I practice with Yaku-san! Can't I just do spikes today?? My receives are better already!"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, YOU LITTLE BRAT?!?" unfortunately Yaku heard him and gave him a nice punch in the stomach. Just when he was about to swing another deadly punch on Lev, he noticed something at the corner of his eyes.

"OH MY GOD AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Yaku stopped punching Lev and jumped up. He threw his arms around Lev and hugged him tightly.

"Yaku? What's wrong?

"Oya oya?"

"What was that for Yaku-san? Your screams are so high pitched! Its making my ear hurts." Lev rubbed his ears while looking at Yaku who was practically strangling him with his arms.

"A-a bugggggg!!!!" Yaku looks so horrified as if he'll faint any time soon.

Fortunately, the other teammates were not scared of bugs at all. They remained calm and looked for the bug that scared Yaku so badly. Well, everyone except for Kenma. The moment when he heard the word "bug", he dropped the volleyball that he was holding and ran towards Kuroo. He then hid behind Kuroo while clinging onto Kuroo's jersey. Kuroo wasn't surprised by Kenma's reaction because he knew that his childhood friend was afraid of bugs since long ago. He remembers that when they were just kids, there was that one time a cockroach landed on Kenma's face and Kenma actually fainted. Funny incident indeed but he's not going share this with anyone. It was their secret after all. 

"Alright, alright, we'll just catch it and get back to our practice." Kuroo calmly said to the other teammates while he patted on Kenma's shoulders to calm that frightened kitty.

"Oh hey! I saw it Kuroo-san!" Lev saw the bug and was surprised too, in a good way. "Oh gosh! It's a tiger beetle! Its very rare in Japan! Look Yaku-san!! Eh? Where is he??" 

Yaku and Kenma were now standing at the other side of the court so that the whatever so-called extremely rare beetle won't come close to them.

"Shut up Lev! Just catch it!" Yaku shouted at Lev.

When Kuroo and Lev went near the tiger beetle, trying to give it a surprise attack. It suddenly started flapping its wings rapidly and took off! 

"Don't let it fly away you idiot!" Yaku scolded Lev and swore that he and Kenma will not return to the court if they don't chase the beetle out. 

With that, the other teammates had no choice but to try their best to catch it. However the tiger beetle was flying so fast even the flexible nekos can't catch it. After a whole 15 minutes of trying, the beetle eventually found its way of exit from the gymnasium. Everyone was so tired, they collapsed onto the floor while catching their breaths.

"Y-Yaku-san, K-Kenma-san.... its gone now...... You guys can come over now..."

"Eh? Where are they?"

Well Kenma and Yaku got tired looking at their clumsy teammates trying to catch the beetle so they went out to get drinks from the vending machine nearby.

"Oh are you guys done? Did you guys caught it?" A few minutes later they came back with bottles of sports drinks in their hands.

"Erm nope... actually it kinda flew away...."

"WHAT?!? LEV YOU IDIOT!!" Yaku threw a  bottle of drinks onto Lev's head scolded him again.

And that's for Nekoma! Hope u guys enjoyed it :3 Btw tiger beetle (Cicindela chinenesis) is the fastest insect in the world, I saw it in my sister's comic so I wrote it. It would be bad if I keept using cockroaches, they'll eventually come and find me noooo hahhaha. Until then, bye!
