So this is the first contest I've ever run so bare with me on a lot of it.

The comic book continuation of Buffy is coming to an end and I think that deserves to be celebrated. From what I understand, Buffy won't necessarily get a happy ending. They're going to leave it open for the reboot/sequel that they're planning.

But I wrote a piece about how I think Buffy's story ends after the series ended and I feel like she deserves one after everything she's been through. So I came up with a contest idea for it.

How you interpret what makes it a happy ending is up to you. The story I wrote featured Angel, Spike, Xander, Riley and Faith at Buffy's wedding talking about her and how they were happy for her. You can check out Here's to the Losers in my stories if you want to read it for inspiration.

Here's the contest:

Word Count: Under 5,000 words

Language: English

Submission Criteria:

1. Grammar and spelling is a big thing with me

2. It's supposed to be Buffy's Happy Ending, so make sure to convey that in the story

3. Make it something that would be appropriate for the show or the comic, try and avoid anything explicit or mature that you couldn't show on network TV or in a comic for wider audiences

4. Follow Wattpad's general guidelines.

5. Add it to the Fanfiction Category

6. Stories involving LGBTQIA+ content is allowed

7. Entries must be in English

How to Submit Your Entry:

- Submissions must be in by the end of October 11th, 2018 at midnight (Extended?)

- Add a link to your story in the comments of this page with the relevant details including Story Name, Word Count and any pairings if necessary

- Tag the story with #BuffysHappyEnding
