Gao's POV:

I was currently being beaten by the same bullies again, i yelped in pain as another kick came to my stomach,it would leave a bruise in the morning, or later on,they stopped after a while and left. I curled up into a ball on the cold,hard ground and started crying 'why does this happen to me? What did i do wrong? ' i thought. After a short while ,i wiped my eyes and walked back home, pretending everything was fine, i went inside and closed the door behind me, my mom and dad had gone to America with grandma for the next 7 months. "You ok kid?" drum said to mex walking up"i'm fine drum, just gonna get a shower "i replied, i went upstairs and took a shower,i hugged my legs and cried in my lap, letting the warm water go over my body,it stung but it felt nice on the wounds.

Drum's POV:

I went back to Bal and Batzz,as i expected, they were watching tv"hey bal? Batzz? "I asked them" yeah bal? "Bal replied"what is it?" batzz asked "haven't you two noticed gao's been looking less happy lately? It's been 3 months now "i said"Gao is sad?bal "bal replied, clearly sounding worried"yeah, the kid's been looking upset about something lately, though..." 

Batzz stopped for a second"i saw a few bruises on him the other day, he said it was just from football when he was with kanata,unless he was used as a target idk how he got them"he said. Me and Bal were shocked by that "but who would hurt gao?bal" bal asked, he had tears swelling in his eyes, i hugged the poor little dragon" hey, we'll find out who did this to him"i said, rubbing his head gently" really?Bal"he asked, i smiled at him"yeah, we will"i said. As we all got up i thought to myself 'let's find out what gao's hiding '
