I handed my wings over as Steve gave up his shield. Rhodes still had his guns pointed at us. I rolled my eyes and looked at Steve.

"So," he said calmly, "did you find out who was there?"

I noticed Bucky glancing at us.

"Yeah," I replied. "It was a young woman. She said her name was (y/n). When I found her, she was on the ground. I got her to the paramedics and flew off to help you. They've probably taken her to the nearest hospital."

"What happened to her?" I heard Bucky ask softly.

I glanced at him and saw hints of fear in his eyes. I was a little surprised, but answered the question.

"She was shot. Probably a stray bullet from the hall."

He nodded slightly and looked down at the ground.
