You packed a small bag full of nightclothes and clothes for the next day getting ready to spend the night with the other Avengers at Clint and Natasha's farm house for the weekend.  (yeah I ship clintasha, if you don't like it just mentally change it in your brain lol) it just so happened to be their little girl's birthday, and so a party was in order.

You waited at the car to see Steve, Pietro (yup he's alive in this), and Wanda coming up to the car. And then there was Bucky. The man you'd been crushing on for quiet some time waltzing his way over to the car as well a smirk plastered on his lips. Over the course of some two years and help from you, his best friend, maybe even more so than Steve, though he'd never admit it, became somewhat his old self. He just seemed to be more reserved and to himself except to the select few people like you and Steve. You watched as he opened up the trunk and started putting in everybody's luggage.

"Wait where's everybody else?" You asked.

"Well unfortunately all the other team members were on a mission before they could get invites, so Fallon just invited us five." Steve chirped.

"Aww that's sad they couldn't come to Fallon's birthday."

You all got in the car. You sat in the back with the siblings beside Pietro. Bucky didn't let this go unnoticed as he snarled looking at the ever open road before him. Soon you fell asleep to the sounds of classical music that Steve blue toothed to the car. It's not that you didn't like classical music, but rather you stayed up late last night and needed sleep. Now when you fell asleep you were as good as well dead, like sleeping beauty dead. Most of the time nothing could wake you up. Through the two years of Bucky being there you felt bad that you couldn't ever wake up to comfort him from nightmares especially since you lived just one door away. It was odd but Bucky always came to you the next day telling you and that's how you comforted him. Steve probably  told him about you and your "death sleep" , but I mean you and Bucky had immediately became friends the first day after he had a panic attack.

Your head bobbed around the car hitting the window several times until you landed on Pietro's shoulder. He slowly put his arm around you to keep you from moving. Wanda knew her brother had a crush on you as well as Bucky, but she knew this might cause  a problem between the two. She also knew you liked Bucky and other than that tried to not actually get involved. (Even though she loved her brother dearly, she loved the idea of you and Bucky together)

Bucky noticed this action and jealousy sprawled all over his body. He pulled down the sun shade and pulled the mirror. He sent a death glare Pietro's way.

"Hey I'm just trying to make sure she doesn't bump her head anymore." Pietro defended.

Bucky grumbled as he slid back the mirror and pushed the sun shade up looking back at the road. It was such boring and awkward ride. Silence consumed the car and everyone other than the sleeping form that was you was ready to get out.

Two hours later....

Steve finally pulled up in the yard and everyone cheered in excitement, while you still slept (you don't snore either) undisturbed.

"Gosh she sleeps good." Bucky realized Steve was right.

He opened his door and opened yours as well. He picked you up bridal style carrying you to the house before Pietro could get the honors as he smirked victoriously. You woke up in his arms yawning and he put you down.

"Had a good nap doll?"

"Uh-huh."

Soon the others filled in and there came Fallon dressed up in a tutu and outfit that looked like Clint's suit.

"Aunt y/n!" She squealed. You had a way with kids and Fallon was no different. She ran to you and you immediately scooped her up in your arms.

"Y/n, is that uncle Bucky?"

"Yup that's Bucky."

"Why does he look different?"

"Well sweetie, he shaved and got his hair trimmed a bit."

"Oh. Okay. Hi Bucky."

"Hey Fallon."

Soon she saw Steve and her eyes lit up. The little blonde haired green eyed child pointed to Steve and you took her to him. "Thanks for taking me to cute uncle Stevie." She whispered which you thought was adorable. "No problem Fallon."

"Uncle Stevie!" She squealed as you handed her to him and she engulfed him in an enormous, overdue hug. They child had such a crush on uncle Steve.

"Hey everyone! I'm glad you could make it. Clint go help them unload and I'll show you to your rooms."

After Clint helped you all unload bags, presents, and all, Nat began to show you to your rooms. Fallon would be staying with her parents, and Steve decided he'd take the couch, though anyone wouldn't mind taking it because it was super comfy.

"Okay that settles Steve. Wanda and Pietro, you both will stay in Fallon's room." She said as she showed them the room, "and Bucky and y/n you both can stay in the guest room." She said smirking. She knew you both had crushes on each other and she was trying to set you both up. You just had that feeling.

You looked into the room. It was big and there were two queen beds and your belongings had already been placed inside as Nat and Clint basically pushed you two in.

"So I guess we're roomies." You smiled trying to keep it simple and less awkward than you both thought it was.

"Guess so doll. I'm hungry I'm going to go get a snack wanna tag along?"

"You had me at snacks Sarge."

Bucky blushed madly when you addressed him by his military rank. You both got up and went to the kitchen and everyone was already eating.

"Man were slow."

"Yup."

As you made lunch instead of a snack, and then you looked outside. Oh no big dark grey clouds loomed in the sky.

"Uh you guys I think it's going to rain..." You said as you looked outside.

"Clint, turn on the news please." And thus he did. You watched the forecast to discover not only was it going to rain but thunder today, tomorrow, and the next day.

"Well we might be staying longer than what was planned Fallon." Steve said.

"Really?!" Her little voice squeaked.

"I think so." Steve smiled in return. The news that you would be staying for two nights and three days excited and scared you at the same time. You loved Fallon and that you'd be able to be with her longer, but you also were scared of staying two nights in a room with Bucky. You weren't scared of him, just scared that sharing the room would be awkward.

Soon Nat and Clint brought out a cake and all the presents. Fallon got a shirt from Steve that said 'My uncle is Captain America' and a Labrador Retriever stuffed animal. From Wanda, a red jacket like hers and some fingerless gloves. From Pietro, she got a skateboard and purple helmet. Bucky got her a bear and a shirt that said 'precious angel'. You got her headbands, a Rapunzel doll, some tsums, drawing kit, one golden retriever stuffed animal, and a husky stuffed animal. (You just really loved her even though you aren't related by blood) Clint and Nat got her many  more things and it was so cute to watch her open everything.

Soon everyone was seated in the living room and you all watched some movies. Down came the rain. And thunder. All the electricity went out, and there wasn't much you could do. Everyone went to there respective rooms to go to sleep.

You and Bucky both entered the room and it was all awkward. Silence was everywhere (not like from doctor who lol claps to you peeps who might've thought that) other than the heavy downpour and thunder in the distance.

"So. Umm I guess you can change in the bathroom and I'll change in here." Bucky stated plainly.

"Okay. You'll probably be done before me but just tell me when your done in case by some miracle I finish before you eheh."

"Alright y/n." You nodded grabbing your sweat pants and the big bang theory shirt (gosh I love that show, but you can change outfit if desired) and went to the bathroom. As expected Bucky was done before you and you finished walking out the bathroom so Bucky could brush his teeth.

You put your clothes in your bag and Bucky came back out.

"Umm Bucky?"

"Yeah"

"Okay don't take this wrong but I didn't think I'd be rooming with you."

"Oh my heart the pain it hurts" he said stifling a laugh.

"Oh shut up Buckybear. Anyways like I said I didn't expect you to be rooming with me but um... Please don't judge when I take him out." Bucky just looked at you all crazy causing you to roll your eyes and go to your bag. You huffed and pulled out your Stitch stuffed animal.

"Ohhhhh. That's what you meant. Y/n is totally fine your secrets is safe with me."

"Oh whew. Thanks Buckybear."

"No problem doll."

You just loved when he called you that. And he loved when you called him Buckybear. You both said goodnight after praying and got into your separate beds.

You were a good deep sleeper, yes but falling asleep was something else especially with the weather as it was. You tossed and turned every night even tonight a regular routine of just tossing, turning, and laying there for a good solid thirty minutes to an hour least before falling asleep. Bucky also noticed this and he felt bad that you couldn't fall asleep. You also felt bad for probably disturbing him. However he had an idea.

"Y/n you okay?"

"Just the normal. Ya know every night thing tossing and turning before I finally fall asleep. I'm sorry I'm disturbing you..."

"Y/n you aren't bothering me. I was just making sure you were okay like you do for me that's all."

"Thank you Buckybear."

"You're welcome doll. Hey. Why don't you uh sleep with me. I don't bite. Hehehe."

"As much as I like your offer, I don't think you'll appreciate me tossing and turning about."

"Hey I'm the one who asked so if it comes to it, it'll be on me."

"Well... Fine... I guess so..." This wouldn't be bad would it? You thought. You pushed it aside and got out of your bed. The thunder that boomed outside made you go faster to Bucky's bed. You slowly got on laying down. He stared at you smiling and you could somewhat see his beautiful blue eyes.

"You're so beautiful y/n." He said as he continued to smile at you. Scared that he would catch you blush you said,"oh man I uh I forgot Stitch..."

Before you could move Bucky softly grabbed your waist and moved you closer to him. "Nonsense, that's why I'm here doll."

You were tense but as soon as he said that you relaxed into his arms. You moved closer to him resting your head on his chest like it was a pillow and released breath you didn't know you'd been holding. He wrapped the covers over the two of you then wrapped his arms back around you. You could tell he was smiling. You knew your Bucky and he knew you.

"Well Buckybear, it looks like you really are my new Buckybear."

"Doll I've been your Buckybear since the get go. Go steady with me?"

"Mhm" you mumbled as you somehow instantly fell asleep with your Buckybear. Needless to say it was the best night's sleep either of you had gotten in a long while. You continued this in the future too because it stopped his nightmares and kept you from tossing and turning. You also remained pure to save each other for marriage one day.

That morning everyone other than Fallon surrounded the door to your room. They all gushed at the sight of you to.

"I told you putting them in a room was a good idea Clint." Natasha squealed.

"They're so cute together." Clint cooed.

"Yeeeessss." Wanda whisper squealed, "sorry brother but they are my otp. You'll find someone eventually though."

"Hmpph." Came from Pietro.

"Awwwww those two are growing up so fast, I'm so proud. My two best friends are finally getting together." Steve sighed.

They left shutting the door to give you both space. Plus they had to make breakfast.

Bucky and you finally woke up smiling and happy.

"Bucky? Was that the best sleep you ever had?"

"Yeah. I think so."

"Eheh I love you so much."

"I love you too angel."

"Speaking of angel we'll have to tell Fallon and everyone we're dating now."

"I'm pretty sure it's expected hehe."

"Probably."

You both got up and held hands as you walked to the living room. Fallon was in her PJs, and so was everyone else looking at the pair of you with smug smiles knowing you and Bucky were together.

"Hey Fallon!" You cooed as she ran up to you and you picked her up holding her on you hip while Bucky was behind you.

"Hey aunt y/n and Uncle Buckaroo."
She smiled.

"Guess what Fallon? Me and y/n got to tell ya something."

"What is it uncle Bucky? Oooo are you and y/n gonna have a baby?"

"No sweetie, besides I'd have to ask your aunt to marry me first before we have a baby." Bucky laughed.

"Well then are you marrying y/n?"

"No angel not anytime soon."

"Aww man but I want y'all to get married and have a baby so I can be a  flower girl and a cousin." She said as she put her head in the crook of your neck.

"Oh baby don't cry, it's still like your birthday after all. Uncle Bucky and I might not be getting married or having a baby, but you wanna know something?"

She nodded her head as she looked back up.

"Ah there's that pretty face" Bucky chuckled and she just put her little hands to her face to cover her rosey blushing cheeks.

"Well Fallon.... Your uncle Bucky and I are dating now."

"Really?!" She squealed. "That's like the step before marriage and the baby carriage right?"

"Yes honey it sure is." Clint said looking at the two of you signing first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Bucky with a baby carriage laughing. You were pretty sure every one in that room were really children in disguise.

"Yeah Fallon I guess it is the thing before marriage and a baby carriage." Bucky said as you just blushed and everyone cheered... Well except Pietro.

"I got my wish then momma and daddy." Fallon said as she looked to Clint and Nat.

"Your wish was for us to get together?" You asked curiously.

"Uh-huh. Yall are my otp."

"Apparently your everybody's otp... Except my brother's." Wanda laughed.

Cutest birthday surprise ever.
