Everyone was out by the pool enjoying the summer sun. You were fixing to go out, but you had to shave first. Then you put on your blue and gold swimsuit. You left your hair down while putting braids in different areas. Once you looked yourself over, you went down to the pool.

"Y/n, there you are." Bucky smirked at you. "we were fixing to play a game."

"What game?"

"We were going to play rounds of chicken fight. The group that wins gets free lunch at the restaurant of their choosing."

"Sounds good. Did you already choose partners?" You questioned.

"Yeah, but don't worry. I picked best partner." He smirked.

"Would that person happen to be me?" You winked.

Bucky blushed scratching the back of his neck, "Of course I chose you. You're my best gal after all."

You giggled kissing his cheek. You both had finally admitted you liked each other after decades of not saying anything at all, and now you were dating. It probably had been several months now, and you and Bucky loved being with each other. (Nothing dirty)

You held his hand as you both went to the pool.

"It's about time you got here. I thought we were all gonna get as old as Bucky." Sam laughed slapping Bucky's arm.

"At least you might be a little wiser." Bucky joked back.

"And have all those wrinkles? No man, not for me." Sam fired back, and they both just laughed.

"Can we play chicken fight now? I really want free food." Wanda spoke as she held hands with Vision.

"I do not need sustenance, but I wouldn't mind paying this game if it makes Wanda happy." Vision added.

"Yeah we got the idea." Tony rolled his eyes as he dramatically clapped his hands, "everyone get together with your partner. No cheating. No using powers."

Everyone nodded as they all got in their groups.  Apparently Tony already decided what groups went against each other, and from there it would continue until one group remained.

"So first up it's me and Pepper versus y/n and Bucky."

They walked to the pool, and you noticed Pepper didn't really look like she wanted to play. You held Bucky's hand and pulled a pony tail holder from your wrist.

"I don't want to pull your hair Sarge." You winked.

"Thanks." He smiled turning around so you could pull his hair up. "I think it'll be an easy win. Pepper doesn't look in the mood to play, and well Tony probably won't care so."

"I can pay for our lunch darlin. I just wanna have fun spending time with you." You could hear him smile.

"Oh. Okay. Yeah me too Buckybear. Okay your hair is up."

He turned around smiling, and you couldn't help but aww. "Aww. You look so adorable."

"Thanks." He made this cute little face cupping his cheeks, and then he bent one of his knees bringing his foot up.

"Can you two seniors hurry up?" Tony shouted.

"Hey stop being rude to my sister and my best friend." Steve rolled his eyes.

You giggled taking Bucky's hand in yours, and you both walked to the pool. Before you could say anything, he picked you up bridal style and jumped in the pool with you. You giggled once you both made it to the surface splashing Bucky with water. Then Bucky lifted you up on his shoulders. While you waited for Tony to lift Pepper, you laid your cheek on his head and wrapped your arms around his neck.

"We get it you're the cutest couple. You don't always have to show it." Clint rolled his eyes.

Finally Tony and Pepper were ready. It didn't even last because Pepper fell into the water with Tony. You and Bucky won your match.

Bucky and you watched as teams faced of with each other. You mainly just talked with each other or joked with one of the competing teams.

It went as followed:

Your brother and Peggy against Clint and Nat. Match went to Clint and Nat. After them were Wanda and Vision against Thor and Sif, who one. After their match Sam and his sister went against Pietro and Wanda since she already lost, she became his partner. However Wanda got another loss when Sam and his sister won. The next group was T'challa and Shuri versus Peter and May. Everyone was shocked that Peter and May won. Finally the last ones were Rhodey and his wife against Pepper's sister and her sister's husband. Rhodey and his wife won.

"Now it's Bucky and y/n versus Clint and Nat." Steve said as he looked to the board.

You laughed when Clint was going to be the one "chicken fighting" against you. You ended up winning by tickling him.

Thor and Sif won against Sam and his sister, and Peter and May won against Rhodey and his wife. Then Thor and Sif won against Peter and May.

Then it was just Bucky and you against Thor and Sif. "Well if it isn't Grandpa and Grandma against Great times ten Grandpa and Grandma." Clint yelled.

You thought his insult was really just funny. Bucky rolled his eyes as he picked you up bridal style jumping in the pool with you again. Then you began to fight Sif as you both tried to push the other team into the water.

"This is the longest senior citizen fight I've ever watched." Sam teased. You couldn't help but giggle.

This caused you to not be focused because you loved watching Sam and Bucky fight and tease each other like they were long lost brothers. Sif pushed you, and you lost your balance causing you to fall into the water. Once you swam to the surface, you still laughed. Then Bucky began to laugh mainly because your laughter was contagious.

"Congratulations Thor and Sif. That was fun." You smiled.

"Indeed it was." Thor chucked.

Then you all got out so you could all change. Mainly because you all were going to go out to eat lunch as Tony said.

Bucky got a towel and wrapped around you. "I had fun today. Don't forget, I'm paying for lunch." He smiled kissing your forehead.

"I had fun with you too Bucky. You sure I can't pay half of our lunch?"

"Mhm. I never got to take you on dates or pay for them in the forties, so I'm making up for lost time." He smirked booping your nose.

Okay I hope you enjoyed that. Just in case you didn't know what chicken fight was, it's basically what I said. You get in the pool. Then you chose a partner, could be anyone friend, family, significant other Bucky eheh. Then one partner gets on the shoulders of the other. Another group does the same. The partner on bottom mainly is the legs, and the person on top fights against the opponent on top of the other team. You only can push each other no actual fighting or punching. The goal is to get the other team to fall into the water. At least that's how I remember it.  Hopefully that all made sense. As always thanks for reading Bucky's plums.
