Another day in the tower to be lazy. Everyone was in the living room doing their own thing. Pietro was watching Vision and Wanda from afar. They were talking and bring all cute. Tony and Bruce were doing some experiment while Rhodey (can't spell sorry) watched in fear. Tchalla was looking at cat pictures. Natasha and Clint were being cute too. Peter was sleeping. Steve was busy drawing. Bucky just sat beside you and you tried to massage your stupid wisdom teeth that had been bothering you all week. Bucky was relatively new to the group and you and Steve were the only ones that really cared. You helped him progress and he became your best friend instantaneously. You cornered yourself so no one could see you sticking your fingers in your mouth.

"I'm bored" Pietro dragged.

"Let's play some sorta game" Wanda added.

"What do you think y/n?" Steve asked.

You weren't paying attention. You were to busy messing with your teeth to notice everyone staring at you.

"Oh she's messing with her teeth again. Oooo how about we play who's gonna take y/n to the dentist" Tony said.

"What dentist teeth no no I'm fine. Let's play a game"

"So who's gonna take her?"

Everyone began to say not it. Unfortunately Bucky hadn't been taught about not it so he was at a disadvantage. But he didn't care because he had a tiny crush on you. More like major.

"Well tin man looks like you get to take geeky gal to the dentist." When Tony said this nickname for you, it made Bucky boil and he clenched his fist.

"I'll tag along too and drive since I know where to go." Steve commented.

"Wait where is y/n?" Steve asked.

While everyone was talking you ran to your hiding place. Don't cry you have to be brave it's just the dentist. Just breathe.

"I'll get her." Bucky said. Hiding in your secret place probably wasn't the best idea because you told Bucky about it, and you both would go in there to breathe. You even let him go there on his own time if you weren't around and he wanted to be alone.

"Y/n. It's Bucky. I know you don't want to get your wisdom teeth taken out, but if you don't do something soon it will only get worse. Trust me I waited to long too and my jaw ended up swelling so much my ma had to help me eat." Bucky's voice was soothing and you stepped into the light.

"Ah there she is. You know y/n it's not that bad. Yeah it's scary but as soon as you get it done you won't have to worry about it ever again. Oh and you can eat tons of mashed potatoes. I know you love those as much as I do, and thankfully ma did teach me how to cook em so I will make you as much mashed potatoes as ya want."

"Well I do like mashed potatoes but" then you took off sprinting unfortunately you couldn't run well and Bucky well Bucky was an all star runner. He caught up to you and picked you up.

"Put me down put me down please" you yelled as you cried.

"Please don't cry y/n I just want you to get better. Steve's coming to and he'll drive, I'll sit in the back with you."

"Promise"

"Promise"

Bucky got to the car and put you in. Then he sat down beside you.

"Bucky there's some Kleenex back there let y/n have some." Steve suggested.

Bucky found the Kleenex and gave you the box. You took it and wiped your eyes then blew your nose. You leaned your head on the window looking out trying not to cry again. You closed your eyes to block everything out and soon fell asleep.

Bucky just stared at you feeling sympathy.

"I remember when your wisdom teeth swelled up when you got them out.  You were so stupid on that loopy gas."

"Yeah I was saying random crap for days. Hehe"

"Then you tried to be all Australian"

"Yup that was bad."

"Yes well we're here now."

Bucky looked to see that y'all had indeed made it to the dentist office. Bucky looked at you sleeping peacefully and didn't want to wake you.

"Doll. Wake up we're here." He said softly as he looked at you kindly.

"Oh Bucky. You love her don't you?"

"What I don't know what you're talking about.."

"Mmmhhmm"

Bucky just rolled his eyes and looked back to you. Could he love you? I mean he was just taking you to the dentist. But I mean she was the first one I saw here and she made me feel welcome, she makes me blush and feel warm inside, she made me feel like I am loved... Bucky thought. Maybe he did love you. He pushed it aside and gently woke you up.

"Muurmmmhughn" You woke up and looked around. You made it to the dentist. Oh crap. You began to panick then you looked and saw Bucky. You froze. Gosh he was beautiful. You just wanted to kiss those lips. No. Bad. Wrong. While you were thinking you didn't even realize that you were in the office and Steve was signing you in. You sat down nervous.

"Y/n you're gonna be okay. Look I'll even go with you."

"You will?"

"Of course doll" doll ooo new. You liked that.

"Miss y/n you ready?"

"Heck no." You mumbled. You nodded and got up Bucky also got up and walked behind you and your nurse. She sat you down putting the paper on you telling you the doctor would be there shortly. She left and it became awkward. The two of you just sat there silently.

"Please don't pass out or film me."

"Trust me I won't do either."

Then the doctor came in saying a bunch of boring dental stuff.

"Is there anything you need before we begin the procedure?"

"Yes. If you want Tony's money I ask you to do some simple things to make it easy for all of us. #1 Don't give me loopy gas. #2 let me wear one of your masks even though I won't be able to see anyway. #3 make sure when you're done before you wake me up to get rid of the blood. Note if you're supposed to give me those stupid teeth back please clean them first. Blood makes me nauseous. Okay I think that's it. You follow what I said do what you do and then get the money. Yaayy."

The doctor just looked at her nurse and shrugged. Then they knocked you out.

"Sir you do realize we had to use as you're girlfriend would say the loopy gas on her."

"Oh we don't date but yeah I know. Already got mine out."

"Don't question me son I now a cute couple when I see one. I'm never wrong, so if it hasn't happened, y'all will get together soon."

Bucky just looked away and out the window. Man that lady was annoying. He got up and went to see Steve.

"Let me guess the dentist was getting on your nerves?"

"Yeah man she was ticking me off. I guess you are the one who takes y/n here."

"Yeah. I had to start staying up front because even I couldn't stand her."

Bucky nodded and they just talked while watching the news.

An hour later the boys saw you being rolled to the front. Smiling like a crazy psychopath.

"Y/n did well. Here's her teeth if you want them. Also we um had to double the dose so she wouldn't attack us"

"That's nice" Bucky said sarcastically. He got you and wheeled you out to the car while Steve finished the paper work. Steve came back and unlocked the door. Bucky picked you up bridal style and put you in the car. Steve rolled the wheelchair back then came starting up the car.

You were very loopy. You touched Bucky's face and pulled him.

" Eheh you whoo you look like this boy I eheh know. You're face is so squishy. Ooo I should squish my buddy's face. My buddy named Bucky. Buddy Bucky eheh *hiccup* He's my buddy. Do you have a buddy good sir?"

"Yeah I do."

"Ehehe that's niiicce. I just wonder where the snicker doodle is."

Steve looked in the mirror and laughed mouthing snicker doodle. Bucky rolled his eyes.

"I bet.. I bet he's all off getting musclely and hot. Did I tell you that Buckybear is fine. Whooo boy God blessed him with beautifulness."

Bucky was sitting there in shock. You like him. You thought he was fine and hot. He furiously blushed and Steve just laughed mouthing *I knew it*

"Hey." Loopy you said while touching Bucky on the face patting him. "Can I tell ya a ehehe can I tell you a secret?"

Bucky nodded.

"Eheheheheheheheheh okay now. You can't tell Bucky though. Neither of you can tell Bucky. Eheheheheheheheheh. Okay here we gooooo. I love Bucky. His real name is James Buchanan Barnes. Gosh I love that name but he hates when you call him James. So that's why he asks you to call him Bucky. I love Bucky to but sometimes I just say his real name out loud because I love it. He's got these ocean blue eyes I could swim in. He has brown curly wavy hair. He has lips gosh he has lips that I just want to kiss eheh. He lost his arm and has been through more than any of us have and people treat him like crap, and I just want to punch their faces for that. I love his arm it is apart of him ya know. He thinks he's a monster sometimes and doesn't like his arm but I love it and I love him. He's like an angel from above. You should meet him. I wish I could help him feel better; he's my best friend. I just want to see him always happy. I hate to see him sad or waking up in terror because of nightmares. Did you know that he makes me do those stupid school girl crush things. I dream about him all the time. I can never get him off my mind. Sometimes eheh I write my name with his last name to see what it would look like y/n Barnes. Gah. And I know it's stupid, but sometimes I pray to God that he'll love me to. That he'll tell me, that we'll date, marry, and have a Bucky baby. It's bad but I fangirl and stalk him whenever I can. Well except in the bathroom cause he needs privacy. I say I do it to make sure he's okay but I can't help it he's so gorgeous. And his voice makes me melt. Ooo melt butter. I remember he told me he was gonna make me mashed potatoes. When ever that is. I just. Is it me or is it getting dark cause I *yawn*" you feel asleep on Bucky's shoulder.

"Well that just happened Buck.... You okay back there?" He looked in the mirror to see Bucky crying. "I told you Bucky. She loves you she *impersonates you* thinks your fine and hot and wants to marry you and have a Bucky baby."

They both just laughed.

"I never thought she'd like me let alone love me too."

"Hah I knew it."

"Yeah you did. So what are we gonna do when she wakes up."

"Well she probably won't know she said all that but if I know you somewhere inside you you'll find your self and probably ask her out."

"I hope so Steve because hehe I want to marry her and have a y/n baby too."

Not knowing how "not it" works was a blessing in disguise for James Buchanan Barnes. He found out the girl of his dreams loved him too with the help of "loopy gas".
