A Force: Part Two

It had been several years since your first meeting with James Skywalker. During that time you both traveled across the galaxy together and began to date.

Thankfully you hadn't run across any resistance or empire soldiers, and when you did they both were so stupid that you played Jedi mind tricks on them.

James held your hand as he piloted the ship. You learned that he was a very good pilot like the generations before him.

"I can't wait to take you to our next destination sweetheart. I've been wanting to take you there for some time now."

"Well then it must be very important to you."

"It is." He smiled at you. Then he turned on the autopilot while he waited for the next time he could jump to hyperspeed.

"Can I have a dance?"

"Sure." You giggled taking his hand dancing. He wanted to lift you up and spin you around, but he didn't want to hit your head on the roof.

He kissed you sweetly pulling away. "My bright star." He whispered brushing a strand of hair from your face.

Then the hyperspeed was ready. You both sat down and buckled up. James held your hand as he began to prep the ship.

"Sweetheart, can you close your eyes? I want to surprise you." He spoke.

You closed your eyes and felt the pull of the ship as James sent it to hyperspeed.

You could tell when it was over, but you kept your eyes closed so James could surprise you.

He landed the ship, and before you could get up, he carried you bridal style. You couldn't help but giggle. "James Skywalker, were are you taking me?"

"You'll see." He laughed.

You couldn't help but smell the fresh air. You smiled as you cuddled into his chest. Then right as you got comfortable, James placed you down on the ground. You could tell he sat down beside you.

"Okay sweetheart, open your eyes."

You opened your eyes to reveal grassy feilds and wildflowers all around you. Everything was so bright. "James.... It's beautiful. Where are we?"

"We're on Naboo. I might not know much about my mother, but I know my grandmother loved it here. At least I can learn about her.... and my grandfather."

"James... What's wrong?" You laced your fingers through his and leaned your head on his shoulder.

"Sometimes I wish they would've never met, my grandmother and grandfather. If they would've never met, the galaxy might be a little brighter. There would be more people to protect the galaxy from the forces of evil. There would be no Kylo Ren."

You pulled away and frowned. "There also wouldn't be a James Skywalker. James, please don't say that. Never say that. I love you so much. The galaxy is brightest for me when you're here. Ben choose his path, and you choose your own. You are writing your own story. You don't have to follow tradition. You just need to be the best James there is."

"Thank you sweetheart. I love you so much." Then he smiled. "You know when my grandparents came here they did something very important."

"What was that?"

"They got married."

You eyes went wide, and he smiled. He then pulled out a ring. Before he could even ask the question, you kissed him sweetly. Before you pulled away, James slipped the ring on your finger.

"You want to elope?" He asked cupping your cheek.

"Like right here, right now?"

"Right here, right now."

"Yes." You giggled.

You both got up, and James began to lead you in the city. You both were so in love that you ignored the people that passed you by.

Then you and James froze in place. You looked to him, and he nodded.

"James..."

"You know what I need to do. We've felt him through the force. He knows we're here."

"You're finally going to face him?"

James sighed looking down. "Yes. It's time, but I'm not going to kill him."

"I'll try to talk to him through his mind. Please try not to get killed. I know you won't, but I just want to say that."

He smiled kissing the top of your head. "Sweetheart, I'm not planning on leaving you so soon."

"Good."

James rounded the corner while you stayed behind.

"I'm surprised you aren't wearing that mask. Has your ego swollen that head of yours?" James smirked.

"So nice to see you again James. I should've realized you wouldn't have died. Now I have to kill two Skywalkers."

They both lighted they're sabers. You could hear the low hum of the weapons, and you pictured the silver of James' lightsaber being held with both his hands.

Then you pictured Kylo's mind. Thankfully the Jedi who raised you put more training into the mind and force than he did for lightsaber use.

Kylo's mind was indeed blocked, but it wasn't impenetrable. You quickly began to tear down the walls. He was having a hard time trying to fight both you and James.

You broke down the walls, and you saw him. He was trying to contact his grandfather.

"You can't find him among the sith."

He (in his mind) turned to face you. "Who are you? Your mind... I cannot break it."

"I know. Enough about me. I hope you realize you haven't been able to see your grandfather because before he died, he turned to the side of light."

"How do you know that? How was I not told?"

"I know because I can see the past. Kylo... Your grandfather died with the light as Anikin, not Darth Vader."

Kylo, in the real world, was momentarily frozen, but he quickly returned to the fight.

"Why do you keep fighting? I know you didn't want to be sent to train. I know you haven't gotten much say in your life, but James and I share the same feelings as you. We didn't want that life either, but we went away. We choose to be on neither side, though we follow the light. We are just two people trying to live life. Who cares about what everyone else thinks?"

"Why do you care about me?"

"Because I want you to know you're not alone. Forget Snoke. Forget the empire. Forget the resistance. Live life the way you always wanted before you got sent off. That is what I'm doing with James."

You opened your eyes to reveal chocolate ones staring into your own.

"How can I do that?"

"Fake your death like James did. Wipe yourself from the galaxy other than to the ones you want to remember you like James allowed you to remember him. Then live."

"How do I erase myself?"

You whispered into his ear the answer to his question. James held your hand when you finished.

"So it really works?"

"Yes, but sometimes we still like to wear cloaks and pretend like were hiding from people." You giggled while James rolled his eyes.

"Thank you. I'm sorry I almost killed you." Kylo told James.

"It's okay really." James spoke as he looked to you.

"You really both love each other that much. I... I can sense and feel it. It makes me realize that not all relationships are like my parents." He frowned.

"I'm sorry Kylo." You whispered.

"Don't be, and.... It's Ben." He smiled.

"Okay then... Ben."

He nodded and didn't say another word as he left. Then you looked back to James. "Do you think he'll be okay?"

"Ben will be okay sweetheart. I know it. I just hope he'll stray away and live like he always wanted."

"I think so."

"We can only hope." James replied. "So... Do you still want to elope?"

"I do."

I hope that was alright. I know it's probably a bit too unrealistic, but hey it's an imagine. Anything is possible. Anyways thanks for reading Bucky's plums.
