Super Mom (Part 12)

A/N: Part 12... Only one part left, it's going to be an epilogue type of thing. I'm kind of sad to be honest. Super Mom has easily been the most successful series I have ever written. I'm going to miss this series.... I've actually thought about writing a full length fan fiction about this with an original character and everything. That's not going to happen anytime soon but it COULD happen. But yeah, I have a few things to say about the epilogue I'll just leave that until after the end of this part so if you want, you can check them out. Thank you, if you do. But hey, go ahead and read about the wedding.

Warning(s): LONG! Yeah, this part is really long. FLUFF. Also, you may cry.

***

Special thanks to the comments that I already mentioned in the previous part. I used most of your ideas, maybe not all of them. I just loved the comments so much and they were so amazing I had to use them as an inspiration. THANK YOU! You're awesome.

You were looking at yourself in the mirror, running your hands along the top of your wedding dress, admiring the fit. You let out a long shaky sigh and turned around, checking yourself from each angle to make sure everything looked good.

"You look gorgeous." Natasha said from behind you and let out a sniffle.

You turned around, brows furrowing as you saw her patting a tissue under her teary eyes. "Are you crying?" You asked and started walking towards her.

"Yes." She admitted while blinking her eyes, trying not to let any more tears fall. "Yes, the famous Black Widow has emotions, what a surprise!" She said sarcastically and sniffled again.

You chuckled and pulled her in for a hug. "Look at you, so happy for me." You muttered and held your arms around her for a while, rocking left to right.

"Of course I'm happy for you." She said with a smile as she pulled away. "But I can't look at you in that beautiful dress, I'm going to cry even more." She said with a small sob and turned away, making you laugh.

You heard Sarah starting to let out gurgle like sounds and you glanced over at her in her playpen, you smiled. You saw her holding her hands in front of her and you picked her up. You held her against your hip and leaned your head on hers. You hummed quietly and rocked her side to side.

You heard someone knocking on the door and you told them to come in. When you turned around, you saw Tony standing at the door. You smiled and took Sarah's small wrist in your hand, waving her hand at Tony which made him chuckle.

Tony got in the room, closing the door behind him. He looked around the room, seeing nobody else around. "Where are Wanda and Natasha?"

"Wanda's getting me a drink and I think Nat is crying in the bathroom." You said as you motioned to the bathroom behind you. "Apparently she has emotions. Who knew?" You joked.

"Shut up!" You heard Natasha yell out from the bathroom.

"Are you sure having a drink is a good idea?" Tony asked. "Aren't you still—" He said while waving his hands in front of his chest, referring to breastfeeding, or so you assumed.

"As long as I wait for a few hours before breastfeeding, everything should be fine." You said and turned back to Sarah who was leaning her head on your shoulder. "And besides, I pumped some milk just for today because there's no way I can whip out my breasts when I'm in this dress." You said while you gestured to the tight fit of the top of your dress.

Soon Wanda came in with a glass of wine in hand. She handed it to you and you handed Sarah to her. "She's getting sleepy, I think she needs a nap." You told her before gulping down the wine, sighing in relief.

"Still nervous?" Wanda asked.

"A little." You sighed and set the glass of wine away. "How's Bucky doing?" You asked Tony.

"Uhh..."

"I'm freaking out!"

Bucky was pacing back and forth in the room he was in while running his fingers through his hair. He was breathing heavily while looking at Steve and Sam who were both sprawled on the couch.

"I need some air." Bucky said while he turned towards the door.

Sam was quick to get up from the couch and rush to the door before Bucky got to it. "You are not leaving."

Bucky sighed and turned around, away from Sam. "I just want to go outside and get some fresh air."

Bucky went over to the couch and flopped down on it, covering his face with his hands.

There was a knock on the door and Bucky removed his hands from his face to see Clint coming in with Caden on his back. "Look who I found running in the halls." Clint said and Caden jumped down on the ground and ran to Bucky, jumping on his lap.

"Hey!" Bucky said excitedly. "Where have you been?"

"I went to see mommy." Caden said. "She looks pretty in that dress."

Bucky smiled, already picturing how beautiful you'd look. He hadn't seen the dress but he was sure you'd look beautiful wearing it. "I'm sure she does."

"She's also a bit nervous." Caden said.

Bucky tensed up and his eyes widened. "She's nervous? Why is she nervous?" He asked with a panicked voice. He gently pushed Caden off of his lap and stood up again. "Does she not want to marry me? Oh, my God! She's going to leave me!" Bucky yelled as his fingers wound up in his hair again.

"Buck, she's not going to leave you!" Steve groaned. "Everyone gets nervous on their big day. See, you're nervous too."

"I'm not just nervous." Bucky shook his head. "I'm freaking out!" He yelled out again.

Sam saw the scared look on Caden's face and took it upon himself to get him and go over to the room you were in. Bucky was clearly having a pre-wedding freak out and Sam was sure Bucky wouldn't want Caden to see his father in that state. "Okay, we're going to go see how Y/N's doing."

"But I just saw mommy." Caden said.

Sam just shushed him and picked him up, heading out of the room.

"Bye, daddy!" Caden yelled out right before Sam closed the door.

Bucky ran his hands over his face and let out another sigh.

Steve stood up from the couch and walked up to Bucky. He placed his hands on Bucky's shoulders. "Buck, you've got to calm down."

"I can't calm down!" Bucky said as he shoved Steve's hands away.

"Why are you freaking out?"

"I don't know!"

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I don't know! I'm just freaking out!"

"Stop freaking out! You're making me freak out!"

"Oh, my God!" Clint interrupted the two super soldiers. "You two need to calm down. We're going to have to leave soon. The ceremony is about to start."

Bucky turned to look at Steve and they both looked at each other with wide eyes. Bucky was just about to open his mouth to probably say something about being nervous but Clint was faster. "Okay..." He sighed. "Why are you nervous?"

"I don't—"

"Is it because you have doubts about marrying her?"

Bucky shook his head. "No. Definitely not."

"Then get your ass in there and marry the love of your life!" Clint yelled while pointing at the door.

"But—"

Clint's palm made contact with the back of Bucky's head. Not hard, but enough to shut the groom up. Clint looked at Steve who was standing quietly, surprised by Clint's outburst. Clint walked behind the two other men and placed a hand on either of their backs, leading them out. "Let's go, boys."

***

Looking at yourself in the mirror, turning around over and over again to make sure everything still looked good, you let out a long, deep breath.

"Hey, you ready?" You heard Sam ask from behind you and you looked at him through the mirror.

You smiled, shrugging. "Has anyone actually ever been ready for their own wedding?"

Sam shrugged as well, chuckling. "Good point." He said.

"Wanda, Nat and the kids, you're up." Pietro appeared

"Sarah too?" You asked, confused.

"Yeah." Pietro shrugged. "Go on." He told the others.

Caden looked at you quickly, smiling widely. "You look really pretty, mommy."

You walked up to him, crouching down to wrap your arms around him, pulling him in for a hug. "Thank you, sweetie." You said and kissed the top of his head. "You look very handsome as well."

Caden smiled widely before going over to Wanda who led him outside. Natasha took Sarah from her playpen and started walking towards the door as well.

"You too." Pietro said while pointing at you. "Get ready." He said before leaving with the others.

They left you and Sam alone in the room. You sighed, looking at him with a small smile on your lips. "I guess it's go time." You said and made your way to him, linking your arm with his.

"You do look very beautiful."

Your smile widened. "Sorry, I'm soon-to-be married."

He rolled his eyes. "I wasn't hitting on you!"

"I know! I'm just teasing you." You said while lightly hitting his chest.

"Just like your soon-to-be husband." He shook his head with a smile. "You nervous?"

"Yeah but good nervous."

"Let's go get you married!" Sam cheered.

***

Standing at the altar with Thor by his side, Bucky breathed quite heavily while looking down at the aisle.

Thor was trying to ease Bucky's nerves by chitchatting but it only made things worse. Bucky had to turn to glare at the Asgardian, knowing his intention were good but Bucky didn't have any tolerance for anything that made him more nervous than he already was.

The music started and Bucky turned his attention towards the aisle. First to start walking down the aisle were Steve and Natasha with Sarah in her arms. Sarah had rose petals in her hand that she threw on the floor. After emptying her hands, Sarah immediately looked up and recognized her father and she lifted her arms toward him, letting out incoherent squeaks.

Bucky smiled and waved at his daughter while he saw Wanda and Clint starting to walk down the aisle as well with Caden walking between them, holding their hands.  Wanda and Clint held Caden's hands tightly and lifted him up, carefully swinging him forward, making the boy laugh.

Bucky's smile just grew and he even chuckled a bit. Steve and Natasha walked up the few stairs in front of the altar and Steve walked behind Bucky while Natasha walked to the other side, leaving some space for you.

Sarah kept her arms in front of her, letting out a few cries while looking at Bucky. Bucky then motioned for Natasha to hand Sarah to him which she did immediately.

Bucky held Sarah close to him and rocked her side to side. Sarah placed her hand on Bucky's face and giggled. "Da." She said.

Bucky's eyes widened and he turned around to look at Steve. "Did you hear that?" He asked. "She almost said dad!" Bucky said excitedly. "I mean, I know it's probably just a random sound she made but she almost said dad!"

Steve smiled, bringing his hand to Sarah's side, tickling her. "She's a little genius."

Bucky continued to smile as he turned back to the aisle. He saw Wanda and Clint swinging Caden up the stairs who still continued to laugh. Wanda then let go of him and walked behind Natasha. Clint and Caden made their way behind Steve. Clint gave Bucky a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder and Bucky sent him a small smile as a thank you.

The song changed to the Wedding March and Bucky sucked in a breath, turning his head towards the end of the aisle. Natasha quickly stepped forward to grab Sarah from him, sensing he would be shocked and amazed as he saw you.

He saw a glimpse of the hem of your dress which already made him let out a small gasp. He saw Sam stepping forward, looking to his side. Soon Bucky saw you stepping from around the corner and you linked your arm with Sam's. You bit your lip nervously and finally turned to look ahead of you, seeing Bucky looking at you already.

Bucky didn't let out a gasp, not a breath, not a single sound. He just looked at you with his mouth open and eyes wide. He lifted his hand on his chest and looked at the dress you were wearing, muttering swears in Russian as he took in the breathtaking dress you had on. He finally let out a breath as you started walking down the aisle.

Bucky's eyes watered as he watched you. You were holding a bouquet of flowers in your hands as you let out a shaky sigh before looking up at Bucky again, seeing his watery eyes.

All the nervousness he felt was suddenly gone. The second he saw you, looking as beautiful as ever, he forgot everything. Every bad thing in the world was wiped from his mind as his gaze locked on you.

His emotions took the best of him and tears started falling down his cheeks. He lifted his hands up to wipe the tears from his cheeks and heard Tony snicker. Bucky turned to give him a glare only to see he was holding a camera that was pointing right at the teary-eyed groom. Bucky let out a quiet growl and turned to look at you again.

You smiled at Sam, kissing his cheek before he went to take his seat. You walked up the few stairs and stood in front of Bucky. "Hi." You whispered.

"Hey." He whispered back. "You look beautiful."

You chuckled, shaking your head slightly as you turned to look at the bouquet, hiding your face, causing him to chuckle as well.

"Dearly beloved," Thor started, making Bucky and you turn your attention towards him. "We are gathered here today in this puny chapel," he continued with dramatic hand gestures. "to celebrate the love of two mortals, Y/N and Bucky."

You turned to Bucky and leaned towards him a bit. "I think making him the officiant was a mistake." You whispered, making Bucky let out a laugh.

"Beware, Y/N. None shan't fire Thor. I guarantee you won't find a better man for this job than the God of Thunder."

Your brows furrowed, thinking how being a god of thunder had anything to do with the situation but you decided to let it slide. You sent him a small apologetic smile and nodded for him to go on.

Thor gave a long speech before he finally got to the vows. "Y/N," Thor said and placed a hand on your shoulder. "You shall read yours first."

You nodded, breathing in before letting out a long exhale. You turned to Wanda who gave you a piece of paper that you had written your vows on. You held it in your hands with shaky fingers. You turned to Bucky who was looking down at your hands and you saw him visibly gulp.

"Sorry, I'm just a bit nervous." You apologized quietly.

"Why are you nervous?" He asked with a rushed voice. "Why is she nervous?" You heard the panic in his voice as he turned to Steve.

"Why are you nervous?" Steve also asked, looking at you with wide eyes.

Clint sighed and placed a hand on Bucky's and Steve's shoulder, making them turn around. "Boys," he began. "Calm down." He said, his voice sounding a bit menacing.

"I'm just nervous about the vows." You said which made Steve and Bucky both turn back towards you. "Calm down. Both of you." You said with a chuckle, making them both relax.

You took  another deep breath before turning your gaze back to the paper in your hands.

"Bucky," you started, lifting your gaze to him. "For a few years, I was raising Caden all alone. I know being a single mother is alright and I did a great job at raising him. But even though I did a great job, it was hard. I was alone. I didn't even have time to go on dates and all that, although I did not even really think about it. Caden was all I cared about, all I ever thought I would care about..." You began and let a small smile take over your lips. "Then I met you." You said a bit more quietly as tears formed in your eyes.

"Sure, we didn't really talk much at first and we rarely even saw each other while I was training after being away for a couple of years. But the day that I brought Caden to the Avengers tower and let you take care of him while everyone else was gone,  I knew you were something that Caden wanted in his life; A father figure."

Bucky smiled and looked back at Caden who was also smiling widely.

"I didn't expect you to want to be a father to him but I knew you were ready to be a part of his life, just to be there for him as someone who he looked up to because for some reason I didn't think I was enough. Which now that I think of it... How did I not think I was enough? I was a badass mom!" You said and turned to the guests, earning a few laughs from them and the people standing close to you. "And I still am. Right?" You turned towards Caden who giggled, nodding. "That's my boy." You muttered before going back to your speech.

"I always had a hunch that something would happen between us. We had that kind of chemistry. And, as you may remember, I was afraid that it wouldn't work out and that we'd hurt Caden in the process." You said and saw Bucky nodding, listening to your vows carefully. "Well, it never happened. Of course we've had fights. Every couple has." You sighed, taking a short break. "We always worked through them and I believe we will do so in the future as well.

"You really have been an amazing father to our children and I know you will continue to be until the very end." Your voice cracked, tears making their way to your cheeks. "I have no doubt in my mind that we will spend the rest of our lives together. There's just no way we won't. I'm with you till the end of the line." You said and turned to Steve, sending him a knowing smirk.

Steve turned away from you and wiped the tears from under his eyes. "That's not fair." He muttered and sniffled.

"No, but seriously... There's no doubt in my mind that we will be together forever. I love you, James Buchanan Barnes, and I promise to do so until the end of my days. So... I hope you're ready to spend your life with me. I'll fight for you if I need to, I'll hold onto you forever," you stopped as you sniffled, carefully tapping the tips of your fingers under your eyes to get rid of the tears that had fallen. "I'm so overjoyed to be here with you today, standing here in front of the people who have been nothing but supportive to us, especially that crybaby over there with a camera."

"Hey!" Tony yelled out, his voice cracking, offended by what you said but you chose to ignore him. He then wiped the tears from his eyes and shook his head, trying to stop crying.

"I promise to try to make you feel as special as you had made me feel since the very beginning. I will love and support you as long as you don't do anything stupid," you chuckled, making him do so as well. "I love you." You finish and hand the paper back to Wanda to see your bride's maids with tears in their eyes. You then turned back around and saw Bucky smiling fondly at you. He turned to Steve who gave him his vows. Bucky then turned to you, sending you a small, genuine smile before turning to his vows.

"Y/N, doll," he said with a smirk, knowing the nickname would make your cheeks heat up and make you blush...

Which it did.

"Every time!" You muttered out and covered your cheeks, laughing.

"I wish I knew all the proper words to tell you how much I love you but there are not enough words in the seven languages that I'm fluent in to describe my love for you. You are beautiful, funny, kind, an amazing mother... You're perfect, to put it short."

You rolled your eyes, shaking your head with a smile still playing on your lips.

"I don't know how I got so lucky." He said quietly, as if he was saying it just to himself.

"For decades I was... controlled. I was forced to do things I wouldn't have done if I had a choice but I never had one.

"Those years, were awful, we all know that and I'm not going into a full speech about it. But as I said, awful years. Somehow, with a miracle, those years were made up to me." He said and looked at you in the eyes. "Y/N, going through all those horrible things just to end up here, with you... It was all worth it," he continued, making you furrow your brows slightly. "because this is what I've wanted since I can remember. I never thought I'd have this. A woman who I can love and cherish, and two beautiful children." He said as he looked at Caden, then at Sarah. "I never thought I could have a life so full of happiness." He said with his eyes watering, lip quivering slightly. "I love you all so much, I would do anything to keep you all safe. If you were in danger and the only way to save you was to go back in time and go through all those terrible things, I would do it."

You noticed he hadn't looked at the paper in his hand since the very beginning. Nothing he was saying was planned. You didn't even try to hold back the tears as you heard what he said. He was absolutely, 100 percent serious and that scared you a bit but it also showed you just how much he cared about you.

"I can't imagine my life without you. You've brought so much happiness in my life, by giving me a chance, fighting by me, letting me be a part of Caden's life, giving birth to this lovely girl," he says and gestures to Sarah who was looking around, not understanding what was going on. "And by loving me."

You fanned your hand in front of your face and heard other people cry all around you. You were trying to calm yourself down but you couldn't as your soon-to-be husband was saying all that.

"I promise to love you till the day I die. I promise to love you, cherish you, respect you and I treat you as an equal." He said. "I promise to raise our children in the best way possible, I promise to take part in scolding our children if they've done something wrong, I promise to keep them safe, I promise to take care of them.

"I promise to be the best husband I can possibly be and I promise to never forget this moment." He said and took your hands in his, smiling through the tears streaming down his face. "I love you, Y/N. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you by my side.

"You're the love of my life, doll. I want to thank you for loving me back. Nothing has ever made me happier in my entire life.

"Like I mentioned before, I never had a choice while I was controlled. Now I get to choose what I do and choosing to marry you..." he said with a smile while tears tears threatened to fall down his face. "Marrying you is the best choice I've ever made."

You were full on sobbing by the time he ended his vows. "Wow, my vows totally sucked compared to yours." You laughed, trying to stop the tears from forming in your eyes. "I can't stop crying!"

"You could say he vowed you." Clint said, making you look up and glare at him.

"Well, that did it." You said and wiped the tears off of your face.

"I meant every word." Bucky told you and you smiled, turning back to Thor.

Then came the time to exchange the rings. Caden stepped up and gave you and Bucky your rings. You crouched down to place a small kiss on the side of his head and sending him a smile as a thank you for bearing the rings.

"Thank you, Caden, the bearer of rings." Thor said and turned to Bucky. "Bucky, as you place the ring on Y/N's finger, please repeat after me:

"With this ring, I marry you and bind my life to yours." Bucky repeated after Thor. "It is a symbol of my eternal love, my everlasting friendship, and the promises of all my tomorrows."

"In all nine realms." Thor added, making Bucky turn to him with a surprised expression on his face. Thor nodded and gestured for Bucky to repeat what he said.

"In all nine realms." Bucky muttered out.

You gave your left hand to Bucky and as he was about to place the ring on your finger, he dropped it. He cursed under his breath and looked for it, not finding it.

You started to look for it too, lifting up the hem of your dress and stepping away to see if it dropped at your feet but you couldn't find it.

Caden giggled at you trying to look for the ring.

Steve then started to help you. You three were all looking for the ring but you couldn't seem to find it. You heard Sarah starting to cry and you looked up from the floor to see Natasha trying to calm Sarah down. You went over to her and placed a hand on Sarah's head. "Someone's getting a little fussy." You pouted while looking at your crying daughter. "I think she's hungry, did anyone—"

Wanda pulled out a bottle from a little clutch she had with him and handed it to Natasha. Natasha then started feeding Sarah and you went back to looking for the ring.

"I found it!" You heard Steve call out and you sighed in relief.

Bucky took your hand in his again. "Okay, I'll just put this finger on your— I mean ring on your finger." He stammered, clearing his throat. His hands shook as he tried to put the ring on your finger. He grumbled out curse words in different languages and you decided to place your right hand on his. He looked down with a sad, shameful look on his face. "I'm sorry, I totally messed up, I—"

You placed your hands on his cheeks and smiled, "No, honey, you didn't. It's okay." You assured him. "It's fine, really."

Bucky nodded his head as you removed your hands from his cheeks. He took your left hand and finally got to place the ring on your finger.

"Y/N," Thor said. "As you place the ring on Bucky's finger, please repeat after me."

"With this ring, I marry you and bind my life to yours. It is a symbol of my eternal love, my everlasting friendship, and the promises of all my tomorrows."

"In—"

"In all nine realms." You remembered to add.

You took Bucky's hand in yours and smiled at him as you tried to insert the ring on his finger, only to realize it didn't fit. You frowned and turned down to look down at your hands to realize you were trying to fit the ring on his metal finger. You brought one of your hands to your mouth to muffle your laughs which only made Bucky laugh as well.

"God, this wedding is a disaster!" You laughed, placing your hand on Bucky's shoulder as you leaned on him while your other hand was holding your stomach.

"I'm sorry." You apologize to Bucky and the others. "We promised to just put it on your right hand instead." You shook your head, letting out one last chuckle. You put the ring on his finger and pulled back, smiling. Bucky brought his right hand next to your left and smiled.

"Now one last thing... Doth lady Y/N take Bucky Barnes to be her lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do." You said and bit your lip, trying stop yourself from smiling too big but failing.

"Doth Bucky Barnes take lady Y/N to—"

"I do." Bucky interrupted Thor with a slightly annoyed tone in his voice.

Then Thor  said some things that you didn't even listen to. You practically jumped from excitement as you waited for him to pronounce you two husband and wife. Bucky noticed your excitement and couldn't help but smile.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," Thor said excruciatingly slow. He looked at you, then Bucky, slowly before he finally said, "You may now kiss the bride."

"Yay!" You smiled. You were about to step forward and give him a quick kiss but Bucky grabbed your waist and spun you around while dipping you with only his arms supporting you. You looked up at him with wide eyes, surprised by his sudden actions.

Bucky leaned his face closer to yours and his lips brushed yours, instead of kissing you properly, he whispered, "I love you."

You nuzzled your nose with his softly and smiled. "I love you too." You whispered back.

Bucky finally leaned in closer and pressed his lips on yours, never losing the smile on his face.

You lifted your hands up to the back of his neck to try and pull him even closer. You heard a round of applause and cheers which made you smile even more.

Bucky pulled you up, smiling at you. He kept one of his arms around you, keeping your body right against his and he turned to the guests, throwing one of his fists in the air and yelling out, "We're married!"

You laughed, so did the others and you hid your face in his chest.

Caden ran up to you to and jumped up and down with excitement. Bucky pulled away and picked him up, hugging him and cheering with him. You turned to Natasha and lifted your hands towards her, asking for her to give Sarah to you, which she did. You held Sarah in your arms and nuzzled your nose with hers, making her let out a small giggle that warmed your heart.

You looked at Bucky and couldn't help but smile, he smiled right back at you with the widest grin you had ever seen on his face. By that look, you knew he was happy to be married to you.

Your eyes teared up again while the smile still remained on your face and you looked at Sarah, kissing the top of her head and turning towards Caden, caressing his cheek gently. Caden placed his hand on yours and looked at you with confusion. "Mommy why are you crying?"

You let out a small sigh and shook your head slightly. "I'm just very happy."

Bucky wrapped an arm around your shoulders and pulled you closer, resting his head on yours. "We should probably get to the wedding reception soon."

"Are the kids going to ride with us or—"

"No, I heard we have a limo, just for the two of us." He said with a wink.

You two turned back to the guests and you looked each of them individually. As you set eyes on Nick Fury, you turned to Bucky with wide eyes, "Is Fury crying?" You asked, nudging Bucky's shoulder.

His brows knitted together and he looked at him as well before stifling a laugh. "He is!" He said with a laugh. "Oh, my God! We made Nick Fury cry!"

You looked over at the groom's men and saw that Steve was shedding a few tears as well. "Steve's crying too."

"Well, that's no surprise." Bucky said with a warm smile and turned to look at his best friend. Steve sent him a smile back and said, "I'm so happy for you."

Bucky nodded as a thank you and turned towards you again. He set Caden down and you gave Sarah back to Natasha. You pulled Bucky towards you and kissed him again, feeling like you couldn't keep your hands away from your spouse. Before you and Bucky could turn and start walking down the aisle, you heard Sam say "To your left" to Bucky.

Bucky turned to Sam to see him smiling. "Really? On my wedding day?" Bucky asked. "Is this the moment you've been looking forward to?"

Sam nodded.

"That's sad, man." Bucky sighed and linked his hand with yours. "Also, that's my right." He whispered as you walked past him.

"Damn it..." You heard Sam mutter to himself.

***

Getting to the reception that was set in Stark Tower, you and Bucky got out of the car, laughing like crazy. "That was the wildest ride, I've ever head." You said as the two of you made your way to the tower. You two got into the elevator and you looked at Bucky, seeing his hair as unruly as ever. "Come here." You chuckled and started combing your fingers through his hair. "Is my hair okay?" You asked.

"Perfect." He smiled, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you in for a kiss.

When you pulled away, you noticed he had your garter sticking out from his pocket and you grabbed it. You handed it to him and started lifting the hem of your dress once again. "Help me put it back on." You said and waited for him to crouch down.

Bucky smiled and got down on the floor in one knee. "How many times have I already dove under your dress today?" He asked with a grin on his face. You couldn't help but chuckle, thinking back on the ride to the Tower. "Okay, lift up your foot a little."

You did as he told and you felt him start moving the garter up your leg. You heard the door open behind you and you quickly dropped the hem of your dress, leaving Bucky under it, only his leg could be seen from under your dress. You turned towards the door with wide eyes and saw your teammates along with Nick Fury and your children standing there with wide eyes as well. You let out an awkward chuckle and saw Steve covering Caden's eyes while holding Sarah against his chest.

"Bucky, get up!" You hissed and he lifted them hem of your dress, standing up and brushing his fingers through his hair again. "He helped me with the garter." You explained the others.

"How did it come off in the first place?" Natasha asked while crossing her arms.

You shrugged, took Bucky's hand in yours and exited the elevator. "Sorry about that." You apologized. "So.. What are we going to do next?

***

Sitting at the table with Caden and Sarah, you looked down at the dance floor.

You felt a breeze go past you and turned to look to your side to see Pietro sitting there. "Hi." He said.

"Hey, enjoying the wedding?" You asked.

Pietro shrugged while looking over to the dance floor, laughing. You turned to look at the dance floor as well and saw Natasha trying to teach Steve how to dance. The blond looked very awkward while dancing which made you laugh as well.

"I do have a one complaint about the ceremony." Pietro said and you turned to look at him with your brows knitted.

"Too long?"

"No, you forgot something."

"What?"

"The part about someone objecting." He said, making you chuckle. "I was really looking forward to it."

Pietro jumped and visibly gulped as he felt hands on his shoulders. "That's why we asked Thor to leave it out." Bucky said from behind Pietro, squeezing the Sokovian's shoulders.

Pietro whined and pulled away. "I was just kidding, old man." He said as Bucky finally let go of his shoulders.

"Just go get the cake." Bucky waved him off and motioned for him to get up from the chair.

Pietro rolled his eyes, muttering something in his mother tongue and he zoomed off.

Bucky sat down next to you, scooting his chair right next to yours, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and kissing the side of your head. You hummed in approval and turned to him, placing a soft kiss on his lips.

"You really can't keep your hands off of me." You whispered, lips brushing his.

He smiled, "Don't act like it's that surprising."

You smiled as well and kissed him once more before pulling away again.

"I'm done." Caden said and pushed his plate a little further to the center of the table. "Can I go dance now?" He asked.

"Of course, sweetie." You said. "Who are you going to dance with?" You asked while looking towards the dance floor again, seeing Steve stomping away.

"Wanda."

"Wanda?" You asked and looked at Wanda who was sitting at a table while talking to Clint and Vision.

Caden nodded and got up from his seat and walked over to Wanda. He tapped her shoulder and extended his hands, asking her to dance. Wanda smiled and took his hand and the two went to the dance floor.

"What a gentleman." You chuckled.

"Do you think he has a bit of a crush on her?" Bucky wondered.

You shrugged. "It's possible." You sighed.

"Should we be worried?" He joked.

You two continued to look at the two, holding hands and swinging them from side to side as the song played.

Soon Pietro came back with the cake and called the two of you over to cut the first piece. You and Bucky went over and you gave Sarah to the first person that was closest who happened to be Vision. You then went over to the cake but before you could cut it, Steve stopped you.

"Sorry, is it okay if I say a few words before you cut the cake?" He asked you and Bucky.

You nodded, telling him to go ahead.

Everyone gathered around the cake as Bruce gave everyone a glass of champagne, except for Caden and Sarah of course, although Caden did get a glass of apple juice. Steve waited for everyone to get their glasses in hand and he finally started to speak.

"I didn't actually write a speech but I do want to say some things." He began and turned to look at you and Bucky again. "Looking at you, newly weds, seeing the happy smiles on your faces, noticing you can't keep hands off of one another..." He paused. "It's like nothing has changed, really." He said, making you chuckle. "You two might feel like you're unusually touchy and happier than you are on any normal day but I really don't see a difference."

You felt Bucky's fingers brushing against yours and you looked down, seeing his fingers lace with yours. You smiled up at him and turned to Steve again.

"I'm so happy to be here, taking a part in celebrating the love you two feel for one another. I'm truly grateful that you let me be a part of this. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my best friend happy." Steve said and looked at Bucky in the eye. "You finally are truly happy and you've found the person you want to be with for the rest of your life. You deserve it. And Y/N," he continued, turning to you. "If you were anybody else, I'd tell you to be good to him but... I know you will be. Just by watching you, hearing the two talk about your relationship, I know you'll make it till the end. Your love is so inspirational, if someone in this room didn't believe in true love before, I'm sure they do now. So I would like to raise a glass," He began and lifted the glass of champagne, so did everyone else. "To Y/N and Bucky, the best couple I know. Congratulations."

Everyone raised their glasses and took a sip. You motioned for Steve to come over to you and you placed your glass away. You opened your arms and pulled Steve into a hug. "I promise to take care of your Bucky." You said, earning a chuckle from him.

"I know you will." He said and pulled away. He turned to Bucky and hugged him as well. "Congrats."

"Thanks, Steve."

Steve stepped away and you and Bucky both grabbed the cake server and cut a piece of cake, putting it on a plate. People cheered and you grabbed a spoon, scooped apiece of cake on it and fed it to Bucky. You chuckled as you saw some cake on his nose, you quickly wiped it away. "Is it good?" You asked.

"It's amazing." He answered and took the plate from you, feeding you a spoonful as well.

"Look at those two." Tony sighed while looking at the dance floor, seeing only you and Bucky, dancing to the slow song that was playing. "They're married now."

"Yes, they are." Bruce said while sipping on his drink.

"It feels like it was only yesterday when I was watching the security cameras and saw that those two were in the medical wing, having a little moment."

Bruce rolled his eyes. "Tony, it's actually kind of creepy how obsessed—"

"Remember what I said to you that day?"

Bruce shook his head.

"I said I bet they'll marry each other."

Bruce hummed, reminded of the day. "You did." He said with a faint smile on his face. "You were joking, right?"

Tony nodded. "Of course I was joking." He scoffed. "There's no way I could have known they were actually going to get married."

Bruce nodded and the two turned to look at the two of you again, seeing Bucky spin you and dip you, both of you smiling widely.

"I wish I knew. I could be shoving it into everyone's faces right now."

Bruce muttered some curses under his breath.

"But, seriously, look how happy they are." Tony sighed as he saw Caden making his way to the two of you when the song changed to a more upbeat one. "I think, on some level, we all knew this day would come."

Bruce nodded in agreement. "I think so too." He chuckled as he watched Vision bringing Sarah to you on the dance floor as well.

And so they continued to look at you, Bucky and your children just smiling and having a good time. You and Bucky really did seem very happy and just by looking at you, everyone knew you were in it for the long run. They just had the kind of feeling.

You were going to spent the rest of your lives together without a doubt.

"Okay, I need to film this. Where's my camera?"

Okay, about the epilogue.

I was thinking about writing about their future how their lives as a family planned out and stuff. So that means skipping some years.

I was thinking about skipping 10 years when Caden's 15/16 and Sarah's 10. So the kids would be a lot older.

The thing is... If you guys are totally against that idea, I could maybe tone it down a bit and skip maybe just a few years. I do have an idea of what could happen if they're a bit older. At first I was about to skip over 10 years when the kids are both teenagers but that's a little too drastic for me.

So, what do you think?  Is it okay if I skip 10 years or would you prefer if I only skipped a couple of years?
