"Ow!" Jungkook, the youngest member of bts, yelled, after having gotten a splinter from trying to move a stupid old wooden chair.

He pouted dramatically, staring at the wood shard buried deep in his left index finger.

Only him and Jin were home; the others were all out doing stuff.

Jungkook sighed loudly, as he realized he'd have to go to Jin for help.

Him and the oldest member had never gotten along. They were always bickering about stuff, muttering things  under their breath about each other, laughing when the other would make a mistake, or drop something, or simply breathe.

But, Jungkook couldn't stomach the thought of taking the splinter out himself, yanking at his finger, digging into the flesh to pull a wood shard out.

He shivered at the thought.

He sighed again, leaving his room to find Jin.

After all, the other was his hyung, and he was the oldest, so he did have to look after all the members...which included Jungkook.

The youngest found the other quickly. He was in the kitchen, as always, preparing himself a meal since it was lunchtime.

Jin merely glanced at Jungkook when he entered the kitchen, not even bothering to greet him.

Though, in his defence, neither did Jungkook.

"Hyung," Jungkook started, "I need you to do something for me."

"Why the hell would I do that," Said Jin, still cooking.

"I need you to get a splinter out of my finger," Jungkook explained, holding up his finger for Jin to see.

The skin around it was already red and inflamed, swelled up making it harder to get the wood out.

Jin looked at Jungkook now, a slight glare in place, then looked at the boy's finger.

"Of course you got a splinter," Jin muttered, roughly grabbing Jungkook's hand to look closer.

"The hell is that supposed to mean?" Jungkook  questioned, though his question was ignored.

"Why can't you get it out yourself, Jungkook?" The oldest asked with a bored tone, letting Jungkook's hand go as he turned back to the vegetables he was chopping.

"I tried to already, but I couldn't," Jungkook lied.

Jin gave him a look, silently letting him know that he didn't believe him.

"Whatever, go get me some tweezers."

Jungkook smiled slightly, leaving immediately to get the tweezers.

It was much easier for him to convince Jin than he expected.

When Jungkook returned with tweezers in hand (his right, not his left - which is the hand that had the splinter), Jin took them and immediately got to removing it.

Jungkook discretely looked away, cringing and wincing at the way Jin was harshly tugging the wood out.

"There," Jin said, "It's out. Go wash your hands and put a band-aid on."

He handed the tweezers back to Jungkook, who was slightly surprised Jin was telling him how to treat his wound afterward.

But he left without a word, going back to his bathroom, putting away the tweezers before washing his hands.

He dried them well, and then put a band-aid on.

The next time Jungkook got injured, him, Jin and Jimin were in the studio working on a new choreo.

Jimin had just left to go to the bathroom when Jungkook stumbled over his feet and fell, using his hands to stop himself.

It has only been a week since he got the splinter, but now he has sprained his wrist.

"Pabo!" Jin shouted. He walked over to Jungkook, who was now cradling his wrist as he sat on the floor.

"You better not have broken it," Jin sighed.

Jungkook glared at him, "not that you'd care."

"Actually," Jin retorted, "I would, because that would affect you learning the choreo, which would affect all of us."

Jungkook looked down, realizing that, maybe, his wrist injury was serious enough that, yes, he messed up everything for everyone else.

Jin took his arm, examining his wrist.

"It's probably just sprained. Put some ice on it. No more choreo for you today. Jimin and I will continue, but you go home. I'll see you later."

And with that, Jin was back doing his part of the dance he was working on, and Jungkook was hunting down some ice to put on his wrist.

~

Jungkook was in the gym a week later. His wrist wasn't sprained anymore, luckily.

He was doing his normal work out, but suddenly he somehow managed to cut his knee.

He was there with Namjoon, Tae, and Jin. But Nam and Tae were in a different part of the gym.

Jin, however, was close by to Jungkook.

Jungkook sighed, putting his equipment down before walking over to Jin.

"Jin hyung, I cut my knee," he told the oldest, pointing to his knee that was now bleeding.

There was a bit of blood running down his leg, making Jungkook cringe.

Jin rolled his eyes, sighing, and set his equipment down.

He grabbed his water bottle, before pouring it over Jungkook's knee, washing the blood off. Then he used his clean towel to dry it off, staining the white cloth with little droplets of blood.

"I have a band-aid in my bag. Go get it and don't get hurt again."

Jungkook found Jin's bag, and quickly retrieved a band-aid, sticking it over the cut.

~

This time, Jungkook and the others were outside in the backyard.

He was on the ground in the grass looking for their ball that had gone in the bushes, even though the other members had stopped playing when the ball disappeared.

They were all doing something else now, on the other side of the yard, but Jungkook wanted to find the ball.

Jin ran past him, but ended up kicking his head since he didn't see him on the ground.

"Ow!" Jungkook yelped, grabbing at his head as tears gathered in his eyes.

"Jungkook!" Jin yelled, turning back around to crouch down beside the boy, "I didn't see you there!"

Jungkook sniffled, not moving from his position.

"Let me see it, Jungkook," Jin said. His tone was different to how he normally spoke - especially when he was taking care of Jungkook's injuries.

Usually, it was snappy, dismissive and rude. But now it was soft and quiet.

Jungkook shook his head no, still holding it in his hands.

"Jungkook, please," Jin said quietly, "I need to see how bad it is."

After a moment of hesitation, Jungkook let Jin see.

There was a red spot on his forehead, and a bit of the skin had scraped off, due to Jin's shoe hitting it.

Jin frowned, "I'm sorry, Jungkook, honestly. I didn't see you there at all. How bad does it hurt?"

"'lot," Jungkook replied, though it was quiet and mumbled.

"Let's get you an icepack."

Jin took Jungkook in, getting an icepack from the freezer before placing it carefully against Jungkook's forehead.

He guided him to the couch, helping him lay down, "no more playing right now, Jungkook. Get some rest."

Jungkook did get some rest.

~

Jungkook scraped his hand on a rough wall, hard enough that it drew blood, while he was out on an evening stroll.

The wall was dirty, so he had to rush home to get it cleaned.

When he got home, he ran into Jin, who immediately saw his hand.

"What happened?" The oldest asked, grabbing Jungkook's hand to inspect it.

"I scraped it on a wall while I was on a walk," Jungkook muttered, embarrassed.

Jin sighed, shaking his head. He swiftly turned around and started walking in the direction of the kitchen.

Jungkook took that as his que to follow.

Jin helped Jungkook wash the dirt and germs off of the cut, before he carefully dried it, gently holding his wrist in one hand, a towel in the other.

Then, he gently spread a cream onto the cut, before snuggly bandaging it up.

"There. Quit getting hurt all the time," Jin muttered, putting the other bandages back.

Jungkook's cheeks pinked, and he turned around to leave the kitchen.

"Thanks," he muttered quietly. Though, Jin still heard, and looked at the back of Jungkook's retreating head in surprise.

~

This time, Jungkook got hurt while he was with Jimin and Taehyung.

They were playing a game in the kitchen while Jimin waited for his food to cook.

Somehow, Jungkook managed to burn his arm on the stove top.

He hissed, bringing his arm into his chest as he srunched his face from pain.

"Kookie!" Jimin yelled, grabbing Jungkook's arm to inspect it.

"Are you okay?" Tae asked worriedly.

Jungkook just nodded, slipping his arm out from Jimin's grasp.

He doesn't know why he did this, but he left the kitchen to find Jin, despite Jimin and Taehyung being right there to help him.

"Jin hyung!" He cried, walking over to the man.

Him and Namjoon were in Namjoon's studio, working on a new song.

Jin sighed, "what, Jungkook. I'm busy."

"I burned my arm," Jungkook whined.

He didn't mean to sound so desperate, but his arm was in serious pain.

"Let me see," Jin said, motioning Jungkook over.

Jungkook stood in front of him, showing his arm that had a red welt on it.

"Did you run it under cool water yet?" Jin asked.

"No?" Jungkook said, tilting his head to the side.

"Aish! You're supposed to do that right when you get burned. Come on."

Jin lead Jungkook out of the room, leaving an amused Namjoon behind.

Jin took Jungkook back to the kitchen, where Jimin and Taehyung still were.

"Jungkookie!" Jimin yelled, "are you okay now?"

Jungkook nodded, as Jin led him to the sink.

The oldest turned the water on, feeling it to make sure it was the right temperature, before putting Jungkook's arm under the flow.

"Keep it there, while I get some burn cream."

Jungkook nodded.

Taehyung went over to Jungkook, whispering to him, "you went and found Jin, who you don't like, so he could help you? We were both in here, so why did you hunt him down instead of asking us to help?"

Jungkook blushed, while Taehyung smirked knowingly.

Jin came back with the burn cream, swatting V away.

Tae giggled, going back over to Jimin to gossip with him.

While the two of them whispered and giggled, Jin took Jungkook's arm, drying it gently before applying the burn cream.

Afterwards, he gently wrapped a bandage around the younger's arm.

"There. Why don't you ever listen to me?" He asked once he had finished.

Jungkook frowned, tilting his head to the side, "what do you mean, hyung?"

Jin leaned toward Jungkook, "I always tell you not to get hurt, but it seems like the very next day I'm bandaging you up."

Jungkook blushed.

"Don't get hurt again, Jungkook," Jin said seriously.

Jungkook nodded.

~

Jin was sent to help Jungkook with moving some of his bedroom's furniture.

They worked together on bigger things (muttering under their breath and yelling at each other) and alone with the smaller things.

Jungkook was now moving a nightstand, but he hit his hand on it accidentally.

"Ah!" He yelled, bringing his hand up to look.

One of his knuckles was bleeding, the skin having ripped from the hit.

He pouted, looking at his new injury, before he saw another hand slide into his, taking it to look at the cut.

Jungkook looked at Jin, in mild surprise, who was looking at the cut carefully.

"You never listen," Jin muttered rhetorically.

Jin looked Jungkook in the eyes, before gently bringing his hand up to his mouth, kissing Jungkook's injuried knuckle softly.

Jungkook's lips parted in surprise, staring at Jin with flushed cheeks and wide eyes.

"This is at an awkward place on your hand to put a band-aid, so just go and wash it off. It will be fine without one."

Jungkook nodded, hesitantly slipping his hand out from Jin's light hold.

He washed his hand, before returning to his room to finish rearranging.

~

Jungkook was trying to open a package of earbuds.

There was plastic covering it, that Jungkook was trying to get off.

He managed to tear it slightly, but in the process, cut the side of his finger, too.

A long cut stung his finger. It wasn't deep, but it hurt really bad.

He sighed, and made his way to Jin's room.

He knocked on the door once, before entering.

"Jin hyung!" He called.

Jin was at his computer, and rolled his chair over when Jungkook came in.

"Let me see," he said. He didn't even need to ask to know that Jungkook had hurt himself again.

Jungkook held up his finger.

"I was trying to open these," he said, holding up the package of earbuds for Jin to see.

Jin rolled closer in his chair, so that Jungkook was standing between his legs.

Jungkook blushed.

Jin held Jungkook's hand, bringing it to his face.

He kissed down Jungkook's finger softly, five times, all while staring into Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook's lips had parted again, and he was sure his face was red.

"You can set these here," Jin whispered, motioning from Jungkook's earbuds to his desk, "and then go wash your hands. Come back afterwards."

Jungkook nodded, setting his packaged earbuds on Jin's desk, before leaving to wash his hands.

When he got back, he saw Jin opening a band-aid, putting the wrapper in a nearby trashcan.

Jungkook also noticed his earbuds, in the same place he left them on the desk, but now the packaging was off.

He blushed again, mentally cursing himself for blushing so easily, as he made his was back over to Jin, standing between his legs.

Jin placed the band-aid on Jungkook's finger, before picking another one up that Jungkook didn't notice before, placing that one above the first, so the band-aids covered the whole cut.

"Thanks, hyung," Jungkook whispered.

"You're welcome, Jungkook."

~

Jungkook was in his room, walking around it trying to find his phone.

Suddenly, he slipped on something, crashing to the floor.

In the process, he managed to bite his lip really hard, bang his chin, and hurt his palms.

He looked back at what he had slipped on; his phone.

Damn it, he thought.

He got himself up, before pocketing his phone.

He left his room, going back to Jin's, a blush already on his face.

"Jin hyung?" He asked, opening the bedroom door.

Jin was in bed, reading a book, but set it down when Jungkook came in.

Jungkook walked over to Jin's bed, sitting in front of him as Jin sat up.

"Are you hurt again?" Jin asked softly.

Jungkook nodded.

"Where?"

Jungkook pointed to his palms, his chin, and his lips.

"How did you do that?" Jin asked.

"I fell," Jungkook whispered.

Jin hummed, grabbing Jungkook's hands.

He scooted closer to Jungkook, before bringing the younger's hands up to his mouth, leaving soft kisses on his stinging skin.

Then, he got even closer to Jungkook, grabbing the back of his neck gently.

He used his thumb to tilt Jungkook's head back slightly, pressing his lips to the red skin of his chin, leaving butterflies fluttering through Jungkook's stomach.

And finally, Jin cupped his face, running his thumb along Jungkook's bloodied lip, looking into the younger's eyes, before leaning in.

Their lips met, as their eyes slipped shut.

Jungkook grabbed on to Jin's elbow, pressing his lips against his.

Their lips moved slowly together, with no heat, no rush.

Just lips, tenderly intertwining together as they held one another tightly.

Jin was holding Jungkook's head gently between his hands.

Jungkook was leaning into the older, his hands gripping Jin's broad shoulders.

When they finally parted, they left their foreheads resting together.

"Feel better?" Jin asked, smiling softly.

Jungkook smiled back, nodding, "much better."

Jin pressed his lips to Jungkook's one last time, before saying, more strernly, "Don't get hurt again. Okay?"

Jungkook blushed, "I'll try not to. But if I do, you'll be there to fix it."

Now Jin blushed, running his fingers over Jungkook's lips.

"I'll always be there to fix it."
