HYYH Theory: Two Worlds - Part 1

First off, everyone knows that the Prologue, I Need U M/V, Run M/V, and Young Forever M/V showcased the Youth series that tortured ARMYs. Some people think that the Fire M/V and Save Me M/V, are both included, but I really think that they're just transition videos into the "other world".
The Youth series is specifically supposed to represent Bangtan's coming-of-age. And with that, comes the reality, responsibilities, and horrors of being an adult. I believe that the first two mini-albums of Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa featured the brighter, more care-free side of youth. The future music videos and short films from BTS are going to be the darker, more mature side of youth. (I'll elaborate more in the second part.) Everyone knows that BTS isn't afraid to talk about mental health, broken families, their own problems, etc. I have a feeling that the upcoming music videos and short films will feature some of these topics.
Focusing back on HYYH and the music videos and songs already released, I want to talk about the title, Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa. In an interview on Arirang in 2015 near the holidays, Rap Monster stated that Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa is based off the title of a Chinese film. The pinying (Romanization of Chinese Characters) is Hua Yang Nian Hua. The characters are 花样年華. This phrase means "The Golden Years" in China and those years are commonly referred to as the blossoming teenage years, ages 14-20. It makes sense for the youth series to start there and transition into a young adult, or 20+ year, series, as BigHit stated.
The album covers of part one and two of Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa.
The music videos and Prologue were definitely focused more on V, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, and Jin rather than Rap Monster and Jungkook. The whole storyline with V, Suga, and Jin especially seemed to grab your attention right away. By the end of the first part of the youth series, Suga has committed suicide, V has murdered his father (and maybe even committed suicide himself by jumping off the tower in Prologue), and Jin is said to be dead due to the lack of interaction with his dongsaengs and constant references to white lilies. J-Hope also overdoses, but doesn't die. Jimin almost drowns himself, but isn't sucessful.
I honestly believe that Jin is dead and the I Need U M/V and Run M/V is capturing how the members are coping with their loss. It does provide a sufficient trigger for their suicides or attempted ones. However, Rap Monster and Jungkook are exceptions. Rap Monster seemed to stay calm and tried to carry on. But Jungkook was just brutally beaten and killed by a car. I definitely think that there's some significance to Jungkook, considering he was the only one who didn't attempt to kill himself. Rap Monster too. I really don't have any idea or story that could parallel with him YET.
Luckily, "Wings" unexpectedly came out today...
