Plot-Everyone knows how much of a social butterfly Taehyung is. With his bright personality, cute mannerisms and adorable box-shaped smile, no one can really say no to him and eventually find themselves cooing at the young idol.

"He's at it again," they all thought grimly as they watch Taehyung take a selca with different idols and actors in the sea of people.

While they are really grateful because they are invited to numerous award shows nowadays because of their multiple nominations (and winning), they also loathe award shows with a burning passion.

Reason?

Kim Taehyung.

The members of BTS, minus the second maknae of the group, all wore a look of displeasure as they watch the said reason interact with the people around him too affectionately. The members looked cautiously at their surroundings and silently cursed when they noticed that they are surrounded by too many people, not to mention that there are cameras filming. They can't take away Taehyung now, too many people will notice and speculate. All of them gritted their teeth and plastered fake smiles as they watch Taehyung, who is happily talking to different people around him and is completely oblivious to his co-members inner turmoil.

They better not do something wrong with Taehyung. All of the members thought.

What everyone don't know is that the other members of BTS were fiercely possessive and protective of their Taehyung.

Sure, they might coo at Taehyung's too affectionate mannerisms towards other people, but that is only: 1) when there are cameras filming because people might get the wrong idea (though they are sometimes tempted to show how they are deeply possessive with their second maknae in front of all the people just to show them Taehyung is theirs) and 2) when Taehyung is looking. While they know that Taehyung will understand their actions and will not get angry at them ("Is there a time when he really was angry?"), Taehyung might demand that he is a big boy that doesn't need to be protected. And as such, they kept their glaring and sneers to a minimum whenever Taehyung is around.

Moments when they are not filming is a complete different story. As soon as the camera stops running (or Taehyung is not present or unaware of his surroundings), gone are their fond smiles and twinkling eyes directed at their member. These are replaced with glaring eyes and scowling face that is directed to anyone who dares to look inapproriately to Taehyung or even touch him when unnecessary.

Many people heard of the tales and stories of these members being too possessive with their member, but most people dismiss it as a hoax and complete gossip. With Namjoon's dimples, Hoseok's bright personality, Yoongi's gummy smile, Jin's sense of humor, Jimin's cute crescent eyes and Jungkook's adorable smile, they find it hard to believe that they will be that brutal whenever Taehyung is involved.

However, few unlucky people have witnessed and experienced first hand the wrath of the possessive BTS and they certainly wished that they haven't. To say that they were scary would be a big lie and a complete understatement for they are beyond that. They are much, much, much scary.

One of the unfortunate people to experience this is an unsuspecting make-up artist.

It was during one their photoshoots for a cover of a magazine. Everything was fine at first until they noticed something. While they are doing their make-ups, everyone, minus Kim Taehyung himself, noticed how the make-up artist assigned to him was flirting with him. The said make-up artist was throwing pick-up lines and jokes every break, evoking giggles and laughs to the oblivious dancer.

Used to Taehyung's natural cheerfulness and his ability to attract people, the members decided to let it pass but kept a close eye to their dongsaeng (hyung in Jungkook's case). However they all saw red when the make-up artist starts touching Taehyung. They saw how the said make-up artist starts holding Taehyung's arm and then bumping their shoulders while they are talking.

They decided that they had enough.

Jimin and Jungkook, 2/3 of the maknae line and who's also the most possessive of Taehyung in the group, took (dragged) Taehyung away from the make-up artist with the excuse of buying food outside the studio. Not being able to resist them (and the offer of food as well), Taehyung thanked the make-up artist for his time before walking away first.

Now that Taehyung is gone, Jungkook and Jimin faced the man who occupied Taehyung's time earlier with his flirtations and glared heatedly at him.

"Stay away from Taehyung," Jungkook said menacingly. "He's ours and ours alone."

The man whimpered in fright and looked away from Jungkook's burning gaze.

Jimin, whose face is contorted into an ugly scowl, was about to say something when Taehyung shouted behind him.

"You guys coming?!" Taehyung shouted gleefully.

Jimin turned to face him, his face taking a complete 180° turn now that it is void of any scowl and was shining brightly with a smile instead.

"Yeah, just a second, Tae!" Jimin shouted back.

Jimin faced the man again, his previous emotion coming back and glared at him before roughly bumping his shoulder against him and finally walking away. Jungkook smirked at the man's frightened reaction and raised his fist as if he was about to punch him. The make-up artist flinched and almost cried, making Jungkook chuckled darkly before he walked away to follow his two hyungs.

To say the man was terrified was an understatement, but to say that the man was scared shitless when the hyung line cornered him just after the maknae line left was probably the understatement of the century.

Just as the make-up artist was about to return to the set, he let out a squeak when he was faced by Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, and Yoongi.

The make-up artist looked around him warily and cried internally when he realized that he is alone in the room with them. He quickly bowed his head and lowered his gaze to the ground.

I'm screwed, I'm so fucking screwed. He thought miserably.

"Sooo," Hoseok started happily, "we noticed that you have been hanging out with our Taehyung today. We also saw of your...flirtations with him."

The man finally got the courage to look up when he heard the rapper's happy tone.

He sounds nice. Maybe he'll let me go. He hoped.

But the man instantly regretted that decision when he noticed how terrifying Jung Hoseok looks. While he may be smiling, he saw the murderous glint in his eyes, making him look like a psychopathic murderer in a horror movie.

"I--I"

"You got something to say, punk?" Min Yoongi said.

While he might be taller than Min Yoongi, this did not make the rapper less scarier to his eyes. With his feline eyes and cold aura, it took sheer amount of willpower from the make-up artist to not kneel and beg for his forgiveness.

"I-I'm s-so--sorry," the man stuttered out, "it won't happen again."

"Good, it won't really happen again because you're leaving. We're firing you," the leader of the group finally spoke.

The man braved again to look up and stare at the Namjoon, who's face is completely devoid of any emotion.

"What? But-but..p--please...I do--"

"Got something to complain about, sweetie?" the oldest of the group sweetly said which is a direct contrast to how he looked so much ready to annihilate him.

"No-no, I'm--"

Not finishing his sentence, the man quickly flees to the scene and almost stumbles in a hurry to leave the room alone with them.

Namjoon fished his phone out of his pocket and dialled a number before putting his phone in his ear.

"Hello, Jimin? Yeah, we took care of it. Yeah, we're on our way there." Namjoon said curtly before dropping the call and putting the phone back to his pocket.

"What did he said?" Hoseok inquired.

Namjoon flashed his dimples and smiled, "Common', Taehyung is looking for us."

The mood of the other three immediately brightened up and was quick to demand Namjoon to hurry up lest they make Taehyung wait.

Needless to say, the man was nowhere to be found in the set the next day. When they found out he resigned, the members exchanged hidden smirks behind Taehyung's back.

Back to the present, the six members of BTS pushed down their urges to rush to Taehyung and hide him away from the attention of all the people. It was hard to protect him when he is naturally lovable but it is even harder because they are idols that have to please the masses. But they are Taehyung's brother first before an idol, so their popularity be screwed if it means that they can't protect him. The said boy was in now in a new group of people and was talking animatedly around him, oblivious to the fond looks directed at him by the people surrounding him.

"Hyung, I can't take it anymore. This is too much," Jungkook whined quietly to his hyungs. They all pried their gazes off the second maknae and focused on the real maknae of the group.

Jin smiled tightly and ruffled his hair fondly, "I know baby, I know," Jin whispered back so that the people around them won't hear.

"It will be over soon. It's almost finished," Namjoon said quietly while not looking at them. He was busy smiling at the cameras in front of them. "Now smile so that the fans won't be suspicious."

Knowing that their leader is correct and that there is nothing else they can't do, the other members sighed and forced to smile in front of the cameras.

Everything seems fine. The people didn't notice their strange demeanor. Everything's okay.

That is, until they heard Suga cursed softly.

"What?" they all whispered.

"I can't see Tae."

All of their heads immediately snapped and automatically searched for Taehyung using their eyes. Amidst the sea of people, they tried looking for his bright red hair, but was deeply disappointed when they could not spot it. Their faces was now drained of color and they start to sweat coldly.

Images of Taehyung, bloodied and alone, filled the mind of Namjoon and he let out a low growl.

"Shit," Namjoon whispered, clenching his knuckles by his side.

Everyone looked Taehyung with their eyes as subtle as possible as to not alert the press. After a few minutes, everyone considered calling their manager to tell Taehyung was missing when Jimin finally noticed his best friend's familiar bright hair.

"I found him!" Jimin whispered-yelled.

They all looked to where Jimin is pointing and they saw Taehyung in a secluded part of the venue. Namjoon squinted his eyes and saw that Taehyung looked uncomfortable and was clearly terrified. Namjoon clenched his fists tighter and looked pointedly at the location where Taehyung is.

"Something's wrong. Let's go," he said.

They immediately bowed to all the people they encounter in their way and tried to walk as hurriedly as possible to their member.

When they finally reached Taehyung, everyone was livid and was ready to commit murder.

They found Taehyung backed in a wall and was almost in tears. He was cornered by a man dressed in a suit and trying to restrain Taehyung's hands.

"Noo--I have to leave--my bandmates---" Taehyung said, completely frightened.

"Aww, leaving already? But we're just about to have fun," the man said, smirking.

"No---please..."

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

Taehyung directed his gaze at the voice and was relieved to saw it was his hyungs.

"NAMJOON-HYUNG!" Taehyung shouted.

Seeing his captor surprised, Taehyung grabbed the oppurtunity and kneed him in the shin before running into Namjoon's waiting arms and hugging him tightly. Namjoon held him as fiercely and after a quick inspection of him for injuries, put Taehyung behind him.

The man did not have time to react nor defend himself as Yoongi's fist landed on his face. This caused him to lose his balance and fall down. Just as he was about to stand up, he was then hoisted up by his collar by Jungkook.

"What do you think you're doing? Who do you think you are?" Jungkook growled before punching the man and throwing him roughly at the ground.

Just as the man thought it was over, he was kicked again roughly in the side by Namjoon.

The man was calling for help, but with the loud music of the venue and the press being occupied with the other idols, no one could hear him other than himself and the members.

While the three are busy teaching the man a lesson, Hobi and Jin served as look out, watching if someone will come too close to them for comfort. Meanwhile, Jimin is comforting Taehyung who looked shaken-up.

"Taehyung, are you okay?" Jimin asked worriedly.
Taehyung nodded meekly but Jimin could see that he is lying.

"SOMEONE'S COMING," Hobi said quickly to the group.

Namjoom picked the man, now covered with bruises, by his collar and glared heatedly at him.

"You'll tell this to no one, got it? Or you'll experience much worse than this. Are we clear?"

The man nodded his head off, tears staining his now bloody face.

"I asked, are we fucking clear?" Namjoon all but growled.

The man helplessly whimpered and nodded his head off again and as soon Namjoom released him, scrambled to his feet and quickly ran away from the group.

Namjoon closed his eyes and ran his hand to his face. Taking deep breaths to calm himself, Namjoon looked at Taehyung and smiled.

"Let's go home."

As soon as they were in the car, the other members of BTS bombarded Taehyung with questions.

"Hyung, are you okay?!"
"Taehyung-a, are you okay?"
"Taetae, please answer us."

Jin, noticing the tired look on Taehyung, immediately shushed the other members

"Guys, please, let Tae breathe." Jin said. "Baby, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"

Taehyung shaked his head meekly and sniffed, "I'm o-okay, Hyung. I'm just..." Not able to to finish his sentence, Taehyung locked his eyes to the elder and looked at him pleadingly. "Can we talk about this at home? I-I can't talk about it yet."

Jin nodded in understanding and urged Taehyung to take a nap. The younger flashed him a grateful smile, closed his eyes and laid his head on Jimin's shoulder. Jimin adjusted his sitting position so that Tae could sleep comfortably while Jungkook, who was in the other side of Taehyung, grabbed a blanket and covered Taehyung's shivering form.

Thinking that Taehyung is finally asleep, all of them watched him rest. Even though they knew that Tae is now safe with them, they still can't forget how vulnerable Taehyung look earlier.

Yoongi was silently seething at the back seat and was clenching and unclenching his fist in anger. Closing his eyes, he only saw Taehyung's tear-stained face desperate to get away from his captor. Unable to sleep, Yoongi angrily put his earphones to his ears and blasted random music from his cellphone.

Hoseok was afraid of many things, but the event made him realize that seeing Taehyung like that, he was truly afraid that it will happen again. Hoseok is afraid of many things but this night he realized that he is willing to face all of his fears if it means he can protect Taehyung.

Jimin was terrified. He shuddered to think what would happen if they arrived even a second late from Taehyung. He looked at Tae's sleeping form in his side and vowed that he would never leave his side again. He regrets one thing though, and that was not being able to at least punch the man who tried to take Taehyung away from them.

Jungkook felt helpless. As the two youngest of the group, he and Taehyung had a bond that the others can't have with their second maknae. As his only dongsaeng, Taehyung showered him with love and affection different from the one he shows with the other members. Looking at his bloodied hands, Jungkook feels that he failed Taehyung and doesn't deserve his love anymore. Closing his eyes and holding Taehyung's hand, he vowed that he would not fail him anymore.

Jin felt miserable. As the oldest of the group, it's his job to look after all of them and protect them. But tonight, he failed. Taehyung was almost taken away from them and it was because of him not paying attention. Glancing at Tae's sleeping form, he ran a hand in his face and sighed.

Namjoon felt responsible. As the leader of the group and Taehyung's hyung, he should have protected him. This is one of his greatest fear.

In fact, this is all their greatest fear.

While Jungkook may be the youngest, it is actually Taehyung who really acts like the youngest. With his mind full of curiosity, eyes sparkling with wonder, and innocent outlook to the world around him, Taehyung is undoubtedly a child in the eyes of his bandmates.

Others might not understand and judge them for their protectiveness and possessiveness towards Taehyung, but they are only just shielding him from the harsh reality of the world. Taehyung is too innocent, too pure and too kind. He only sees the good in the world. He wears his heart on his sleeve and gave his trust easily. If they won't protect him, others will take advantage of him.

Sometimes, they wished they could lock Taehyung in their dorm, away from the prying eyes of all the people who want him, so that they could protect him. They sometimes wished that Taehyung would be more wary and cautious and not affectionate to everyone around him. But they also knew that Taehyung is, well, Taehyung. Their Taehyung. Their Taehyung who was affectionate and craved affection. Their Taehyung who is too innocent and pure for this world. That's just part of who he is. He wouldn't be their Taehyung if he wasn't that way. So rather than wishing and thinking of what if's, decided to protect him with all of their efforts so that he may stay that way.

They can't protect him forever, they know that. But they certainly can try doing it.

"Hyungs--"

Everyone was snapped out of their own internal musings and looked at Taehyung.

"---thank you." Taehyung said sleepily, but his eyes full of adoration and love that they knew was only reserved for them.

And even if everyone didn't understand, as long Taehyung does, they are willing to do everything to keep him at their side.

Also, I was working on angst Vkook but it was already 1am so, I decided to something related to v x bts. I have read many v x bts books tbh, I am tired of them. all of the books have same plot., either all the members treat him badly and then tae falls ill or starts ignoring them and then they apologize. So I wanted to something else.
