Jin is cooking for both of his boys and husband. He is very busy when week days come he can't ask anyone for help. And he should go to his shop too. Jin runs  small cafe, and namjoon have his own business.

"Jiminiee baby wake up, it's already time for school, you will be late for school baby. Wake up please bub"

And jin existed the room to call hobi.
When jin entered the room Hobi is  all ready and packing his stuffs for school.
"When did you wake you hoseok".

"6 am appa i have some work to do, so i wake up early"

Jin knows he is not that much attentive to hoseok. But when his kid doesn't need his help to wake up like jimin. That thought disturbed him.

"Like to have breakfast ".
Hoseok looked at his appa, this is the first time he is getting invitation for breakie other days no one will call him, he will come down and have his breakfast on his own.

"I will appa, you can go "

Jin come down. And makes me more pancakes. Why he is feeling weird suddenly he can't figure out himself.

After sometime all of them are now in dining table for the breakfast. Namjoon come down and pecked jimin's for head and sit down beside jin. Jin noticed this, he and his husband never kiss hoseok in the morning or night. One time hoseok asked about this.that time jin scolds him badly after that hoseok don't bother to ask.

"Jimine daddy will drop you off school today "namjoon stated. After sometime he added "and hoseok you too"

Hoseok nodded. After the small. Breakfast session both of the boys are ready to go school. Jimin hugged his appa and jin returned the hug and pecked his cheeks. Hoseok knows his appa won't do that to him. But his heart craves for some love. He stared at this scene. And look at jin with some hope.

Jin noticed hoseok eyes and ignored like usual.but this time his heart ached a little bit. He can't contain himself what the giddiness he is feeling himself. Why does it feel like he is missing something.

"Appa will pick both of you "

They nodded and went to school.

Jin don't feel good that day, he is having a conflicted mind, his mind is flooded with hoseok.

When the clock hits 3pm. Jin gets ready to pick up the kids. He reached school and both of the boys already in the gate.
Jimin hopped to front seat as usual and kissed his appa. "Missed you appa"
Jin return the kiss "missed you too baby"

Hoseok seated in the back seat and trying to put his seat belt on. Jin looked at hoseok "need help baby " hoseok didn't answered. Because jin never calls him. Baby so he thought he is asking to jimin.

"Hoseok i am asking to you, need help to put on your seatbelt baby "

Hoseok pointed on to himself "baby "

Jin knows hoseok feels shocked. But he wants to know what hoseok thinks about his appa. Jin again said "if you need help ask me okei "and smiled sweetly to hoseok.

Hoseok is in new world. He don't why his appa suddenly so nice to him. Is he dreaming. He pinched to himself to make sure that it's not a dream.

The ride is peacefull.. None of them talked anything. Jin constantly taking glances of hosoek. When they reached Jin's cafe he said" you guyz can have a coffee and a piece of cake after that let's go home together "

Jimin smiled and nodded.jin expect some reaction from hoseok too but he didn't get anything.

"What flavour cake you guys need eh "

"Appa i want a cheese tart. I don't want cake "

Jin looked at hoseok for a reply. But he didn't say anything "hoseokahh don't ypu hear what appa said, what do you need to eat baby"

But this time jimin answered "why are you asking to him appa, you usually don't ask him anything like that. And why are you calling him baby"

That's true. Jin never asks hoseok what he wanted to eat. Always give something what jimin orders. He feels bad for himself.

"Hoseok today you can choose too"

"Anything is fine "

Jin knows hoseok is not that much interested. Jin wants to talk about this. He always feels something is missing in this house. But he never thinks it's hoseok. He never shows that kid any love, and never acknowledge that kid presence. Now he feels guilt, what ever preferences he has he shouldn't do this to his own kids. He wanted to correct all this, but it's not easy, even if hoseok is 10 yr old, he don't behave like a little kid he never get any attention so he grown like that.

After the little session in cafe the kids and appa get back to their home.

Jin decided to change his behaviour towards hoseok.
"Hoseokahh..." Jin called the little kid

Hobi looked at jinnie,

"Hoseok you want anything special eat today "

Hobi is beyond shock, why his appa now behaving like that, all affectionate and love.

"Nothing, am fine with what ever you cook, and thanks for asking appa"
And he went to his own room.

Jinnie knows hoseok build shield around him, he can't break that easily, and it's been ten years he is being too distant towards his own son.

He needs a talk but he don't know where to start, and how to confront that kid. Moreover how to say sorry for all these years negligence, avoiding everything...

Days passed like this... Jin can't pull himself to talk, and he is afraid he don't have any place in hoseok heart..... His days are very hard to pass. Hoseok thought disturb him, that kid do everything alone never ask anything to their parents or even to his brother, he and himself. Jin knows he committed a crime, he should love both of them equally, now a days he crying for his sleep, he can't sleep peacefully. He wanted to recreate all the moments. He wants his SON back.

And the other side, hoseok noticing every small change of his appa. But he don't wanted to take an assumption and don't want to jump on a conclusion so he is patiently waiting for a proper communication. He can wait for his whole life. He don't wanted to be a burden to them, that's why he excused himself from everything, everyone. He don't wanted to get hurt, he is afraid of affection because he didn't get any chance to taste any kind of love.
He don't even know how to ask for something. He just happy what he have. He is strong not by body but by heart, he can control his needs, his desires, his heart everything yes he is strong. He can easily drive his emotions, and what ever the situation he can make himself happy.

a december Saturday evening.

Hoseok enjoying the snow, he wanted to play in snow. He feels wanted when ever he sees snow, his whole family can't endure cold weather, but he loves winter.

After the sight seeing beside his room's window he wants to have water, when he walk past his parents room, he see the door is slightly open and a body is shivering in the cold beside the window. the window is opened. He slowly take his step to that room. He took a clearer vision his appa is standing beside the window and he is shivering very badly, his eyes are tired, tears is continuously flowing from his eyes, his appa seems hurt and sad. Hoseok knows his appa didn't notice his presence. So he slowly took a blanket from the bed and covered jin body fully. Jin startled at first, when he noticed who is that he eyes got wide. Hoseok gives something to drink jin, and closed the window. And ready to left from their.

Jin took all the courage and called his son.

"Hoseokahhh...."

Hobi didn't say anything just stay their.

Jin again called him.

"Hoseokah... If you are not busy could you spend some time with appa"

Hobi still didn't said anything slowly sit beside his appa.

Jin take hoseok hands. And hold it carefully started to caress slowly.
He is crying silently, his guilt is eating him alive. He wanted to hug him. He wanted to scream. He wanted to beg for forgiveness he wants to shower all the love he is saving. He wants his son. He wants his son back.

"Hoseokahh... Baby..." Jin voice stuttered.

Hobi noticed his appa is struggling he can't avoid his appa 's tears. He slowly went beside him and side hugged him.

"Don't cry, and don't say anything... Just sleep, you are tired, don't stress your body too much"

That time jin didn't see hoseok their his husband namjoon. Hoseok is just like namjoon. Namjoon is just like this.

"Hobi... Appa..."
Jin can't frame his words.

Hobi take the pillow and place it in Jin's head. And motioned him to sleep,

After jin lay down. Hoseok decided to leave.

"Hobi... Please stay with appa... Appa wanted to talk to you... Appa wanted you to stay beside me please baby..."

Hobi don't wanted to stay in that room. In all his life this is the first time he is  spending this much time in this room. He feels suffocated he wanted to run. But he don't wanted to avoid his appa, like his appa avoided him. He don't wanted to be like his appa.

Hoseok came and lay with jin. Jin hugged him.

"Baby... Appa wanted to talk to you... I don't know how to bring this to talk between us. But appa wants you hobii.. Appa sorry for being so harsh with you, appa asking forgiveness appa wants you... Appa wants my son back, you are precious  baby i am the one who take a blind eye towards you. Appa sorry for avoiding you, appa sorry for didn't give you love affection anything......"

Jin is continuously crying and he can't talk, he is stuttering breathing heavily. He is hurt, sad.

He just wants his son back. He will do anything for that. He ready to trade his soul.

Hobi didn't said anything. He himself don't know when he is started to cry also.

Jin took hoseok hands "don't cry baby.. Appa is rude, cruel everything. But can you give me a chance to prove. Appa won't repeat those mistakes ever again."

Jin hugged hobi. Kissed all his face. Tightly holding him like hoseok will ran away fron him.

"Please say something hobaa.. I know it's hard for you.. But if you give me a chance i won't never ever disappoint you"

Hobi hugged back. He don't know what to say or do. He is not familiar with these type of words and actions.

Hobi slowly whispered "never say never. It's not about forgiveness. You are the one who gives me birth, so you have the right to love me, hate me, i don't know about you or anyone else..... But i never hate you"

This sentence broke down jin. His son never hates him. He feels heaven. He blame himself.why the fuck his mind play that dirty game with him...

And that night both of the appa and son talked through out the night.after completing every topic jin said sorry to hoseok. After the long talk they both went to sleep.

Jin kissed hobi's face again and again, after so much of days he gets some sleeps. And hoseok the first time he is sleeping his appa's embrace.

From the day the whole family atmosphere changed. Jin tried very hard to earn trust and affection from hoseok. And namjoon also befriend with him. Now the family is complete...

They are happy... They wanted to be happy

Never say never, sometimes life will play dirty game with us. But don't avoid and neglect your beloved ones.

This book finally reached 1k reads. I don't know what to say. When i first writes a short story here am still remembering it just got 8 reads. But that 8 reads leads me. After that day. I just wanted to write something even when no one reads this.
