News!!!
So this is important.
I just made a new IG account which I will use for my Wattpad account, updates, live steaming, spoilers and more.
If you are interested or have been following my art account, feel free to go follow my new account:
@JinKoalaOppa on Instagram:
I'll have schedules there and maybe some memes. I'm debating on whether or not to make it a private account, but we'll see where it goes.
Also I'm almost done with a new chapter of Never Mind, so if you're a Yoongi stan, I suggest going to go read the book and add it to your reading list.
I'm also currently judging peoples books for an awards book and also have entered a couple.
This is a random chap. IK, but I'd like to make it worth something so here it is.
Let me make the most of this and add another sneak peek of my book...
Jungkook POV
I looked around the cabinet under the sink for cleaning supplies, making sure to not confuse the floor soap with the toilet detergent like I once did at our dorm.
The restroom had become chilly, the air hitting the back of my arms as I got up from my squating position.
Walking out of her room, I scanned the wall over to the edge where the dimmer was, right next to it was the a/c knob.
“She did say we could lower it down.”
I turned down the knob, setting it a bit warmer for me.
“Tae! Let me dust first and then you can sweep so you can pick up the dust that falls!” Jimin called out, looking down at Tae from the cabinets he had climbed.
“Sure, shorty!” Tae responded, waiting patiently for Jimin to dust.
Jimin gave him a scornful face, dusting furiously as he mumbled annoyed.
“Everything seems so… Normal. It's as if they have forgotten where the hell we're at.”
I went back into the room, bored out of my mind as I opened the restroom door.
Grabbing the cleaning supplies from earlier, I began cleaning the mirrors and counter, cleaned both the toilet and the seat.
Just when I finished cleaning the shower, Namjoon came in, his head hanging low while he walked over to the tub.
“You okay?” I asked without taking my eyes off the glass I was cleaning.
“Yeah,” he responded dryly.
“Mother said it was okay if I didn't go, to rest while I had the opportunity, and she also said for you guys to take care,” he explained, bending down next to the tub and trying to clean it as he spoke.
I felt bad for him. Out of all of us he had been working the hardest just to go see his family.
Poor hyung.
I crouched down, grabbing a hold of some dirty clothes I had found in the corner.
“She wants the best for you hyung, don't let it get to you okay?”
I gave him a soft pat as I walked towards the door.
“Finish cleaning here, okay? I'm going to go help Jin hyung with the laundry.”
He nodded without looking up.
Thank God he didn't look up.
Just as I was walking out the door, pastel pink panties fell from the pile of clothes in my arms.
My immediate reaction was to jump back, bending down quickly to pick them up and burying them in the pile of clothes, as Namjoon turned to ask what was wrong.
“Oh, nothing hyung. I thought I had seen a bug. My mistake, it was just dust.”
I awkwardly walked out of the restroom, leaving him with a puzzled look before making a mad dash towards the laundry machine.
Jin was slouched down next to it, separating all our clothes, color from black, as I reached the comfort of the dining room.
(To be honest it was mostly black clothes.)
“H-hey, Hyung?! Could I, maybe, do the laundry on my own? That way you have less to do?”
My voice was shaking while I spoke, my hands sweating under the pile of clothes I was carrying.
“Sure, why not? You know how to separate them right?”
I nodded frantically, crouching next to him when he got up.
“I'll be cleaning the room if you need anything, okay?”
“Yeah.”
I turned my attention back to the clothes.
“If anyone else sees these, they'll probably be all perverted and go crazy. I don't think Marili or Marie would like that. Don't worry girls! I'll protect your clothes!”
It felt like a mission to me.
If only my mother saw me now.
She'd be so proud.
Or would she judge me because I'm doing laundry for women I had just met?
Whatever.
I began separating the clothes, carefully hiding the undergarments while I went through sorting each item.
“Honestly, this is just embarrassing.”
I got up from the floor, delicately placing each individual garment into the machine as I moved the laundry machine knob.
After adding detergent and softener, I grabbed the dark load of laundry and placed it in a white basket to wait for the color to finish washing.
Just when I was about to put the basket on top of the machine so that Taehyung could sweep, Namjoon came in with his hands covering a black cloth looking thing.
“Hey, Kookie, you forgot something,” he whispered, getting closer to me, and discreetly showing me a black bra.
My eyes widened as my blood began pumping.
I snatched it out of his hands, covering it under my hoodie.
“You saw nothing, you know nothing, you heard nothing! Do you understand!!??” I whispered harshly.
I turned around to face the basket and place the lacey bra under the rest of the black clothes, trying my best to hide it from view. Joon began giggling, his eyes scrunching up as he smirked.
“Yah, our Kookie has become a man,” he yelled, the boys looking at him clueless.
“Shut it!” I groaned, walking away from the laundry.
He only followed behind me, hanging his arm around my shoulder as we entered the bedroom.
* * *
Finally after several hours of embarrassing chants from Namjoon hyung and a lot of hard work, I finished the laundry.
As I folded their clothes and began putting them up, I noticed the size differences.
“The smaller size must be Marie's, the bigger must be Marili's,” I thought to myself, trying to pick them out from each other so that they'd be easier to put up.
I separated them by size, going into the room to put Marili's clothes up in the closet first.
Her closet had been all organized by color when I looked in, making me laugh.
“Hobi hyung did a good job alright.”
“Hey, Kookie, are those Marili's clothes?” Jin asked, coming up to me and grabbing a hold of the basket without my permission.
He had been doing the dishes the whole time and nearly scared the crap out of me when he snuck up behind me.
“Yeah, I'm just putting things up,” I responded, nervously gazing at him from over my shoulder.
Trying my best to finish putting up the clothes, I leaned downward to the basket and grabbed the last shirt.
He smiled, looking down to see the nearly empty basket.
“I'll put the rest of the things up, you go help Jon with that restroom. Apparently he mixed up detergents again. This boy will never learn,” he mumbled, giving me a pat in the back as he turned around.
"But hyung-"
"Hurry and go help him Jungkook, before he breaks something."
Shoving me out of the room and into the restroom, I simply shrugged my shoulders while looking for something to clean up the mess Namjoon had left when he attempted to clean the restroom.
I felt a shiver go down my spine when I realized what had just happened, my mind finally putting two and two together to help me understand why I had been so reluctant to let Jin hyung put up the rest of the clothes.
“Oh crap, the only thing left to put up was the underwear!”
