He didn't remember how, nor why, but he sat there, on the third row from the front, right behind her parents and siblings, his eyes fixated on the groom.

The flowers that covered the back of each chair were a light pink, her favorite color, and the ceremony would be held in the evening, just like she had always told him she wanted.

It had been their plan.

It had been their future.

It hurt him.

It hurt him as he watched her walk down the aisle, the same dress he had gone out to pick while they had dated, the same golden shoes he had bought her on their first date, and that same pair of earrings his mother had gifted her. How he wished he had never met her, how he wished that on that rainy April afternoon, he hadn't walked into that coffee shop, that he hadn't opened the door for her, and that he hadn't asked for her number.

He wished he hadn't fallen for her cheeky smile, for those dark brown eyes that shined like jewels, and for the way she swayed her hips when she walked.

"She's beautiful, ain't she?" Someone mumbled next to him, snapping him out of his daze.

There was a young woman seated next to him, a dark black dress hugging her body tightly, the front of it dipping deeply exposing her cleavage. For a second he felt his blood rush to his nether region, but with a small cough and readjustment of his tie, he was back to normal. The woman looked to be in her mid-twenties, her dark hair tied back into a tidy bun, ruby red lipstick on her lips, and her eyes glued to the same woman he had once called "honey".

"Friend of hers?"

"Acquaintance. I'm not here for her but because of him," she said, using her head to move toward the groom.

"Ah. I see."

"Cheating son of a bitch," she mumbled.

"Hu?"

"Name?" The woman asked, ignoring Jin's confusion, a sad smile on her face.

"Jin. Kim Seokjin."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Kim. My name is Y/N Y/L/N. Just call me Yuna. So, friends with the groom or the bride?" She asked, extending her hand for Jin to shake.

"Neither."

The woman looked confused as Jin shook her hand back, the woman's eyes trailing Jin's gaze which had gone back to admire the bride.

"Her? What is she of you?" She whispered, the priest beginning the ceremony.

Jin simply sighed.

It hadn't been more than a week since the incident, Jin's felt a burst of pain fill his chest. Jin remembered how many times they had sworn to marry in the future, how she had asked to go window shopping for a wedding dress, and he even remembered talking about how they would go to meet her parents as soon as Jin got back from his business trip, but now she stood with another man at the altar.

"I thought she was my future wife."

"Welcome to the club, son. Tell me, why are you here?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Jin replied, his eyes landing on the rings the groom was now holding. The sun was shining just perfectly, reflecting off the bride's brown eyes, Jin felt like he could fall in love with her all over again.

"Oh, I'm just here to make sure he sees my face as he marries her. To be fair, he was kind of a bummer as a boyfriend, but I still loved that son of a bitch for some reason," she admitted.

"She was an angel."

"So much for her holy-ness, don't you think? Tell me, Mr. Kim, how long has it been since she left you? I'll start. He left me about a month ago at the same cafe we met, brought her with him and everything, followed by him asking me not to come to his wedding," the woman said angrily.

"Week ago. I caught her in bed with him."

The woman's face looked pained as he said that, Jin pursing his lips before patting Yuna's back gently.

"I guess he did play me," Yuna whispered to herself, a small tear rolling down her cheek.

Both of them looked back at the front where the wedding was taking place, Jin's ex placing one of the rings on the groom.

"I declare you, husband and wife! The groom may now kiss the bride," the priest announced, Jin's heart sinking to the pit of his stomach.

He couldn't help but let his heartbreak as he watched her tenderly place her hand against the groom's face before going up to kiss him, the groom wrapping his arms around her. A round of cheers filled the small venue, Jin finally letting his own tears slip.

"She's really gone now, isn't she?"

The woman called Yuna placed her hand on top of his, using her thumb to softly stroke it, hoping to comfort the pitiful man next to her.

"It's ok. He played me too. May their marriage be riddled with misfortune, and their future filled with disasters," the woman added.

Wiping his face, Jin stood up with the rest of the crowd, the woman close behind him as they were ushered into a large hall. There were large round tables around the dance floor and a long table for the groom and bride in the far back. The woman next to him followed Jin to a table, some servers walking around to start placing food for the guest while the bride and the groom walked from table to table to greet everyone.

"So tell me, why did you come here?"

"I wanted to confirm that my friend wasn't lying about the marriage. She's no rich woman by the way. Her parents live in a poor village and she's the only one who helps them from all her siblings," Jin explained, a server placing a plate in front of him.

"I see. Well then, why in the heck did he tell me she had money?"

"Beats me. All I know is she always asked for large sums of money from me and some of my friends, but ever since we found out about her cheating we haven't spoken to her."

"What do you mean?" Yuna questioned, "I thought you said you caught her cheating?"

"I caught her. But we didn't break up. I walked into our shared apartment, saw the clothes on the floor, heard her....moans from our bedroom, and walked right back out. I waited for him to leave before going back in, and told her I'd be going on a business trip. I'm guessing she thought she could keep me on the side," Jin explained.

"I see. I mean, my ex said he was getting a raise at his company. Maybe that's why she left you?"

"Unless your boyfriend is a CEO, humblebrag here, I don't think he would make enough money to satisfy her," Jin said while picking at his plate of food.

"No. He works for a building agency. Last I heard, he got the raise because he was able to get a big company called GigHit to get his company to build their new headquarters. He's the CEO's right hand now, or so he said," Yuna added while attempting to eat some of the food.

"I see."

"Oh no, they're getting closer," the woman leaned in to whisper.

"I know, but it was inevitable."

Jin's eyes were fixated on the bride as she approached their table. She locked eyes with Jin for a second before cowering behind the groom.

"I see you came even though I told you not to," the groom whispered and yelled through gritted teeth.

"I came to see your little circus fiasco. Tell me, Yuna was it? How does used dick taste? I hope my pussy juice doesn't taste too good," Yuna said mockingly.

"Mind your manners Yuna! You never had any tact. And who's this? Your new boyfriend?"

"Jin I-"

"Mr. Kim, I'm surprised to see you here," a man interrupted, Jin turning to see a familiar face.

Jin remembered the day the contract for the new building had shown up to Gighit, hoping to have good relations with the CEO. Jin had been asked by the CEO of Gighit to pretend to be him while he was on leave since he trusted Jin to make a good decision. Jin, along with his friends, had bought enough shares of the group to be considered equal to their CEO, Jin, in particular, being interested in the relations aspect of the job. He recognized the man in front of him almost instantly. He was the CEO of the building company, and also the man he had met up with during that meeting.

"Oh, hello Mr. Lee. Nice to see you again."

"Ah, Mr. Kim, friendly as always. I didn't think if come to see you here," the man smiled.

"What brings you here Mr. Lee, friends with the groom?" Jin asked sweetly.

"Well yes, he's one of my men. And you Mr. Kim, what brings you to this small gathering?"

"Well, I was on business around these parts and heard you'd be attending a wedding so I dropped by. I had some details to discuss with you but to my surprise I not only came to find you here, but I also stumbled into one of your friends marrying my girlfriend of 10 years," Jin said as if shocked.

Jin could see it in their faces, especially the grooms, the sheer terror that had just washed over them.

"Must be some sort of mistake Mr. Kim, Mr. Park here has been dating this young lady for almost four years," the man explained.

Pulling out his phone, Jin took a couple of seconds to look through his gallery before showing Mr. Lee a picture of him with that woman he once called "love". The date stamped on it was six years ago, Jin swiping to show him a picture they had taken only a week ago.

The man named Mr. Lee looked over at the groom, his eyebrows slowly arching in anger.

"Mr. Lee I didn't know-"

"Silence Mr. Park, I don't want to hear one word from you, we can talk in my office Monday morning, as for you Mr. Kim, I want to sincerely apologize for one of my men's wrongdoings, I cannot express how embarrassing this is for me," Mr. Lee groaned out.

"As for me, Mr. Lee, but do not fret. I keep business and pleasure separate, but I do hope you do what is right when it comes to keeping your men in check. We can discuss the details of our contract next week if you'd like. I know you'll do the right thing," Jin winked.

"I do hope to never have to see Mr. Park around when we delegate, as for you new Mrs. Park-"

"Jin I didn't this isn't what it looks like-"

"Tell your mother I will finish rebuilding her roof, Mrs. Park. It was already always finished anyway and what kind of an ex-son-in-law would I be if I didn't complete it? However, I will discuss your form of payment with Mr. Lee. Since the groom is one of your men, I would appreciate it if you'd take care of reimbursement for emotional damages. As for your father's hospital stay, I would advise you to go to the hospital and start talking about payment methods. I have canceled the card I gave you two years ago," Jin said.

His posture was as intimidating as ever, the bride's eyes widening with each word that came out of his mouth. The groom was just as shocked, looking at his new wife with anger while his eyes begged Mr. Lee to take pity on him.

"I'll take my leave."

With one final bow, Jin turned away and walked past them, heading towards the entrance of the hall without looking back.

He could hear the sound of the bride's heels, the same sound he uses to hear whenever they went out for dates, the same sound he'd hear when coming back from work, and the same sound he heard whenever they danced at parties.

"Jin please, I beg you, let me explain," the bride implored.

"Explain what Jess? The fact that you are getting married without ever telling me or the fact that you have been cheating on me for well over 4 years?"

"I was going to tell you, I swear I was I just never knew how-"

"When? When did you plan to tell me? After you consummated the marriage or after you had sucked enough money from me? Tell me, did you plan to go on your honeymoon, raise a family, and buy a home while still with me? Without me, where would you be now? You and your whole family have been leeching off of me for 10 years now and I've said nothing because you were going to be my wife. Look at you now, wearing the heels I gave you to your wedding with another man," Jin yelled at her.

"Is it just about money? Here take it back, all of it," the bride said as she took off her heels and earrings, "take it back hut please Jin, don't go without letting me explain. I never wanted you to get hurt, that's why I said nothing. Jin I still love you. I didn't have a choice. You didn't plan to marry me any time soon and I needed the money. Jeonsel provided for me while you were gone but that was it. I don't love him. I only love you. Jin please-"

Before she could finish her sentence, Yuna walked past her, picking up the earrings off the floor and handing them back to Jin.

"Special?" She asked while handing them back to him.

"Mother's heirloom."

"What about those?"

"I bought them for her," he replied.

"Good. Those can stay there. No one would want to walk in those crusty worn shoes. Jess was it? I'm guessing you and my ex planned to play Jinnie for as long as you could while continuing to leech off him? Boohoo, bitch. I hope you don't mind if I take him for myself instead," Yuna said mockingly.

Walling up to Jin, Yuna wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered into his ear.

Pulling back, Yuna looked at the bride as she slowly planted a kiss on Jin's lips.

Jin closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around the woman while keeping them slightly off her body.

He didn't want to overstep her boundaries, the woman using her hands to place his hands down onto her back.

Turning around to face the bride, Yuna smirked while cleaning her lipstick off of Jin.

"You bitch!"

"Pot calling the kettle black I see. If you don't mind, Jess, I will be taking this hunk of a man with me. Something tells me he's just as good in bed as he is at kissing. Chao," Yuna laughed out, taking ahold of Jin's hand and pulling him out of the venue.

He didn't turn, he didn't want to. This would be the last time he'd ever see her, the last time he'd want to ever have to hear her.

"Goodbye, Jess."
