He grabbed your arms, pulling you into his body slowly, his fluffy lips kissing your neck tenderly, stopping ever so often to be able to rub his face against your shoulder.
“Y/N… You look so beautiful today.”
You grumbled.
He did that often.
He'd call you beautiful every morning as you guys got ready for your day, mostly because he wanted to make sure your self-esteem was high and healthy.
Being pregnant with his baby was like a dream come true, but it was also a pain…a pain on your back and knees. But it was still something you were willing to put up with as long as you could hold you and Jin's precious child.
After being married with him for three years, and trying so hard to have a kid (wink wink), you were now nine months along and happy…but your hormones were at their peak and lovely was the last word you thought could describe you.
“Morning hubby,” you whispered softly, caressing his face while he continued to hug you from behind, his hands traveling to your now grown belly.
“And how is my princess doing?” he whispered tenderly, rubbing your tummy with the out most delicacy.
“She's fine. Probably sleeping soundly and waiting patiently to be born,” you giggled, going along with his little talk.
He hummed against your ear, kissing your cheek quickly before rubbing his hands against your belly again, this time pausing here and there as if trying to find where she was at.
“I can't wait to meet her.”
“Neither do I, but for now, we need to get ready and start planning for tomorrow. Remember it's Christmas Eve Jinnie. We haven't even got Joon’s present yet!” You reminded him.
He groaned, pulling away and turning you around so that you were facing up at him.
“Well then, beautiful, let's get going. We don’t want to keep the guys waiting do we?”
~
Both of you were walking along the street quietly, his hand intertwined with yours.
The streets were full of people, the shops decorated from the outside in, and the cold weather simply added to the feeling of December.
It was nice to spend your time with him like this, both of you showing off to the world the small treasure you were carrying.
After walking for a while, Jin finally came to a stop by an intersection, looking at the cars that passed by while letting go of your hand to press the button at the stoplights.
“So, Jagi, what should we get Joonie?” he asked, looking over at you.
You froze, your hand going down to the lower part of your belly, his words becoming a slurry of mixed sounds and simple beeps.
A sharp pain had hit you, rippling through your body and making your knees weak, your eyes squeezing tight in an attempt to ensure the pain.
If it hadn’t been for Jin, you would have probably fallen on the floor, and probably would have hurt yourself bad.
“Y/N?” he asked concerned, holding you up with one arm while looking at you, his mind unable to comprehend just what was going on.
“Jin...I think the baby is coming…”
Jin maneuvered himself behind you, picking you up bridal style before you could say anything and began to run.
“OUT OF MY WAYYYYYYY!! MY WIFE IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH!!!!!!!”
You nearly choked while laughing, a bit annoyed that he was making such a commotion in the middle of the street, and also a bit ashamed of your weight, something many friends of yours who had been pregnant before assured you was normal and nothing to be ashamed of.
“JIN STOP!! LETS GO TO THE CAR SO WE CAN GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!” you yelled at him, hitting his shoulder so he could put you down.
He continued running, shaking his head vigorously, “the hospital is two blocks away jagiya, don’t worry, I got this.”
He continued running, making a turn into the street that had the hospital in it.
He ran towards the entrance, looking around for a doctor or nurse who could help you, shouting at anyone and everyone who was around.
~
“Sir calm down, she still has several hours before she goes into labor, these are just contractions, sir?!” the nurse yelled, trying to take Jin off of your lap.
He had been more frantic then you, yelling at everyone and anyone who didn't pay attention to you.
The nurse was right, the contractions were light, but Jin simply wouldn't have it.
“I need to call your uncles princess, daddy will be right back,” he mumbled, finally giving in and backing off to call the guys.
The nurse had now placed a needle into you, hoping to keep fluid going into your body to prepare you for delivery.
It was funny seeing Jin so crazy, his hair a mess his eyes waire and his small impatient pacing left to right.
It was cute in a way.
He began by calling Namjoon, followed by the rest of the guys, telling them that he had a huge present ready for them and that they shouldn't stay up waiting for you guys because you wouldn't go to their Christmas party.
He looked so happy, but nervous at the same time, his shoulders slouched as he sat down in the chair next to your bed.
“It's going to be okay,” he whispered to you.
“Funny, shouldn't I be the one telling you this?” You laughed, looking around the room you were in.
It would be a while before the baby came, by there he was, your sweet husband taking care of you.
Slowly, time passed by, Jin monitoring your status every ten minutes or so, then he'd rest his head on your belly while he held your hand firmly.
He was tired, due to him waking up at 1 A. M. to get you some chocolate dipped French fries.
Sounds gross, but you had been craving them for weeks, and where to embarrassed to tell him.
When you finally did, though, he didn't question it even once.
He was far too kind, and you felt so lucky to have him by your side in such a crucial time.
You could see bags under his eyes from the countless nights before when he'd help you go to the restroom since your bed was too high for you to get off on your own.
But even though his gentle skin showed his restlessness and anxiousness to finally get to meet his own daughter, he still did his best every morning to remind you how special you were to him.
He'd go out to buy you flowers, make you breakfast every morning in bed, and he'd even wake up extra early just to clean around the house while still having energy to go to work, come back, and wake up when ever you needed him during the night.
Your eyes weld up with tears, the simple thought that his hard work would finally pay off making you so overjoyed that you couldn't help but burst into tears.
Sweetly, you began petting his hair, tears falling from your eyes while you admired his tired, sleepy face.
“Hurry up, little princess… Don't leave your father waiting any longer.”
