As a young child, I used to love (and to this day still love) Pokemon. I have many of the games and would often get them on Christmas, usually the only present we would get that we would like since my fam wasn't too well off and sometimes my sister would get it and shed share it with me (she's younger and since I grew older my parents thought I didn't play it any longer).

Anyhow, I want to write what starters the boys would pick from my fave generation and arguably one of the best Gens.:

Generation one!!

This one is 100% my opinion and has no specific reason behind why I choose them so take my picks on them with a grain of salt.

Let's begin:

Team Bulbasaur:

Jimin: picked him because he was cute. Probably always carries an egg with him and takes well care of all the pokemon, rotating them out so they don't feel lonely. Probably called his starter Bubbles or something cute.

Hoseok: has an all grass team so that Sunny (his Bulbasaur) can have friends. Definitely has a Roselia because he thinks she's pretty. Likes to battle but also spends a lot of time naming pokemon.

Team Squirtle:

Jin: literally only has cute Pokemon. Probably has the most balanced team but focuses a lot on puzzles, less on fighting, and a lot more time on trading and probably has Squirtle and the others at similar levels. Might have a theme when he plays. Aesthetics for the win.

Yoongi: probably got him because he looked like a lil turtle and he thought he'd be easy to play. Probably gave Squirtle ice TMs. No, he does not still have tackle as one of his moves. (Sweats nervously)

Team Charmander:

Namjoon: The only thing that needs to be said: Min-Maxing.

Taehyung: Wanted to be Jimin's counter just to mess with him. Probably groans about Charmander not being able to use fly. Definitely asking Namjoon how to Min-Max.
