I think what BTS wants to say by this phrase is that, you should have your own goals and dreams and not those of others.
And especially not want to achieve someone else's dreams for them!

If you follow someone else's dreams, I think that won't make you happy, you might even never feel success... sure you will be proud of what you have achieved, but will that make you happy?
Will it make you happy to do what someone else asks or wants you to do... all your life through?
Will it make you happy to dream someone's dream?
