Summary: You're once again assigned and shipped off with your partner to uncover the truth about the death of three high school females at a boarding school. You're determined to stop the serial killer. However, it becomes a bit difficult when you have to prevent your boyfriend from being so damn horny all of the time. Your boyfriend, who is forced to dress like a high school female student at age 24, you must add. It may seem amusing at first, but the case becomes even more difficult as students continue to get killed right beneath your nose.

Authors note: I had to ask my friend about her experience in boarding school in the last four years, so a lot of info or details comes from her. Obviously this is a fanfic, so not everything is correct, but hopefully, I got a lot right.

Disclaimer: although I do portray some of the characters horribly, that does not mean I dislike them! Please remember this is an ff and the characters in For All Have Sinned does not define the real idols character IRL. Thank you.

There was no denying it. You were impressed as you stepped out of your cabin as the sun came up, your eyes meeting the surface of the lake that glittered with the reflected light of the sunrise. Last night, when you had first arrived at the camp, it was too late. The sun already hidden behind the tall mountains, the sky, as well as everything outside, was pitch black to the point where you couldn't even see your own hands that were in front of you.

You had obviously heard the sound of water from a nearby river that filled into the lake as well as the water lapping against the sandy shore, but with the thick grey clouds that covered the stars and moon, nothing was visible.

Both Yoongi and you could have, of course, gone out at night to investigate the area but...

There's no excuse actually.

You and Yoongi got a bit distracted.

Okay, maybe not a bit... but!

And, in defense to yourself, you weren't willing to climb out of bed when it was so warm with him beside you. Especially since the familiar soreness between your legs made you smile. And you were confident that Namjoon would send you a file filled with information of this camp by the end of the day. That was just what you woke up to, finding a file Namjoon sent to you while you caught up to the remaining few precious hours of sleep of your night.

You take a deep breath, your arms stretching high above your head as you filled your lung with cold air that was borderline painful to your nostrils. It was apparent that you were all somewhere far from the city, the air fresh and absent of pollution. The hint of pine and dirt you smell in the air was actually something you found pleasing, and a small smile spreads across your face.

As the breeze blows, a shiver runs down your back, your leggings and turtleneck sweater not helping much with the cold.

"Pabo, you're going to catch a cold."

You gasp as you feel something get thrown at the back of your head. Before it can fall, you take it into your hand, pulling it away from your head to see what it was. It's a down vest that you quickly slip on without a complaint.

You smile at Yoongi who's already dressed in a pair of simple jeans, a red plaid long sleeve shirt, and his own down vest. Your lips twitched in amusement as you realized the two of you were matching.

"I'm surprised you're already awake," you tease as an involuntary shiver crawls up your spine although you weren't as cold as you were earlier.

Yoongi merely shrugs his shoulders before he eyes you strangely, a certain look appearing in his dark orbs.

"Yoongi?" You whispered in confusion as he stepped closer to you, his fingers slowly brushing your hair to one side of your shoulder, his digit cold against your heated skin that was barely visible underneath your turtleneck.

Before you could say anything else, the man zipped up your vest all the way up until the collar rested at your collarbone. Then his fingers tugged up the soft material of your turtleneck until it was at the upper part of your neck, brushing against your jaw.

"Make sure you cover yourself up. I guess I got a bit too excited last night and didn't hold back," the grin that spreads across Yoongi's lips is a bit lewd and suggestive as he nudged past you, stepping down the stairs.

You bite your tongue, heat beginning to crawl into your cheeks as you slam the door of the small cabin closed, running after Yoongi who nonchalantly walked ahead. As both of you stepped into the large building of the dining hall, your nose was immediately hit by the aroma of fresh butter rolls and eggs that immediately make your mouth water.

Which is not too surprising seeing as it's been a while since you've consumed anything, especially with the uh, unintended activities you participated late at night. You were starving and needed calories in your body.

Your eyes scanned the room filled with tables and chairs, half the room set up like a buffet where few students are seen grabbing breakfast and beverages.

You were in dire need of coffee, and you can tell Yoongi was as well, a certain frown that he only gets when he doesn't have caffeine in his system present on his face. The two of you rush to where it's getting served, both of you claiming a sizeable steaming cup before grabbing a plateful of food.

"You're going to eat all that?" You paused mid-action on getting another spoonful of scrambled eggs as you hear a voice scoff behind you.

The high pitched, anonymous voice isn't one that you recognize immediately, turning your head slightly to see who it is. You can't help it as one of your eyebrows raises up as you see that it's Seulgi who's actually by herself for once. You look behind her to confirm, and you're quite taken back that Rose really isn't with her like you had expected.

"Girls gotta eat," you reply with a smile before going back to what you were doing, the corner of your lips twitching as you added an extra scoop for good measure.

As you turned around, you see Seulgi's face scrunched up in disgust, eyeing your plate with judgment. Her own plate only had a handful of grapes and some other fruits which made you wonder how the hell could she function with only that much.

The female's painted lips were turned upside down as she continued to stare at you, her eyes raking over your form. "You'll grow fat," she deadpanned, her scarlet lips growing thin as she continued her judging stare on your growing pile of food.

You shrugged your shoulders without a care as you reached for the bacon next, licking your lips at the thought of sinking your teeth into one of the crunchy pieces.

"I've been eating like this all my life, and I've never had issues with my weight. Why start caring right now? I'm not interested in going on a diet or anything anyways. And breakfast is the most important meal of the day," you go on, moving forward in the line of food, finally grabbing a cup of yogurt and fruit before meeting up with Yoongi who waited at the end, his own food in both of his hand.

He gave you a nod of acknowledgment before his eyes darted to Seulgi, who now stared down at her own plate, still standing where you had left her.

"What did she want?" He questioned as he found the two of you an empty table and seat, popping a piece of sausage into his mouth, chewing it slowly as he nudged his chin towards where Seulgi stood.

You hummed in delight, cupping the steaming hot cup of coffee with both your hands, your palm warm against the white ceramic as you take a life-saving sip, breathing the nutty aroma in. "She was judging me and my amount of food," you chirped, stabbing a piece of scrambled eggs.

"I would too if I didn't know you well," Yoongi helpfully mutters, eyeing your plate that was piled higher than his own.

You nonchalantly shrug your shoulders at his words, tucking into your food as the hall slowly filled with groggy students. You didn't blame them, it was quite early, still barely past 6 o'clock in the morning. You, yourself only had a couple of hours of sleep because you had taken a shower earlier in the morning to wash off the sweat and grime.

"What time do we need to gather at the church again?" Yoongi questioned, taking another mouthful of his black coffee, wincing and making a face as he burned his tongue.

You pour your sixth packet of sugar into your own cup, mixing a hazelnut creamer in before sipping it. "Nine thirty. After that, seniors are going on a kayaking tour until twelve thirty. Then it's lunch and from one thirty and we will be given a chance to swim at the lake if we want. I doubt anyone would seeing as how cool it is. But students also have a choice to have a free hour so what we do is up to us. Five to six we are all going to have a history lesson about the camp. Six to seven is dinner, and then the students are gonna be gathered for a bit, but it's not specifically written why," you list out the schedule without even thinking as you stabbed some food with your fork.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at your memorization, shaking his head in disbelief. Even after so long, it still amazed him how quickly and effectively you could memorize information. You were well above the regular human being, your brain capacity large but not as big as Namjoon, their leader. However, you made up with it with your physical ability and fighting skill, something that Namjoon lacked. Although Yoongi himself was pretty good with his memory, quite above the average, he let that be his partner's specialty, allowing her to memorize information he didn't believe was necessary for himself. It was one of the reasons why you were included in the team filled with males.

Initially, the plan was to have a team of only seven of them, you not included in the team of BTS, the Bulletproof Boy Scouts, a childish name the maknae line jokingly made when they all first met. But at the last minute, Mr. Bang threw you in, you proving your worth during your training, all of them deciding that it would be beneficial for the team if you were included.

And you didn't disappoint. Within just a year of the team getting formed, the eight of you had made a name for yourself within the agency. Which also, in turn, made it a pain in the ass because none of you has had the time to have a vacation in years. You all needed it. Desperately.

"Hey..." Yoongi muttered, his dark eyes shifting to the door as he sees a lanky, awkward form walk in. You too, see Jinyoung immediately, your lips forming into a frown as you take in his appearance. Although Jinyoung had always seemed like he was a pale boy with a thin face, it looked like the boy had lost even more weight, his eyes sunken and the circles under his eyes so dark, you doubt he even got a wink of sleep.

"He looks like a corpse...." You muttered under your breath in concern, your eyebrows furrowing with worry as you see the boy sit down without even grabbing food.

Yoongi snorts in response, rolling his eyes as he chewed, "and you're gonna end up looking like him if you don't start taking care of yourself as well," your boyfriend sends you a pointed look that you ignore. You were aware of the fucking devil of a man was throwing shade at you and your habits. Not that you were going to deny you had bad habits.

"I wonder-"

"Good morning you two!!" You hold back a wince as your knee slams against the table as you jump, your eyes widened in surprise as Sungwoon claims a seat at your table with a bright smile.

The boy himself also looks alarmed, sending you a look of concern as he gives you an apologetic smile, "shoot. Sorry, I wasn't intending on scaring you, Y/N," Sungwoon gives you a sweet smile as he adjusts his round glasses on his nose,

You brush his apology off with a wave of a hand, your eyes worriedly shifting to Yoongi, already feeling the malicious surge of energy that was rolling out of his body with the presence of Sungwoon. The cross-dressed man angrily stabbed at a sausage, bringing it up to his face as he glared at Sungwoon.

"Fuck off for God's sake! Can't you see that we were having a pleasant conversation with just girls?" Yoongi hissed as he restabs his sausage and bringing it to Sungwoons face. "I'm so close of doing this to you, Sungwoon. This fucking close to-"

You don't let Yoongi finish as you sigh, gently taking the weapon out of Yoongi's hand and placing it back on his plate. You give Sungwoon a weak smile, the boy in front of you pale, his mouth parted in horror as his eyes stayed on the mutilated sausage. "Sorry Sungwoon, Yoonji couldn't sleep that well last night. She actually forgot her pillow, and she's not really good with a change like that," you wince as Yoongi kicks you under the table, sending you a look that screamed his annoyance of being cut off.

The glassed male releases a weak laugh, nodding in acceptance of your excuse you had quickly made from the top of your mind. However, neither you and Yoongi miss the uncertain look Sungwoon sends Yoongi, shifting his seat away from your partner.

"Um, so what were you two ladies talking about?" Sungwoon tried changing the topic, his voice a bit chirpier, obviously trying to lighten up the mood although Yoongi was still sending death glares his way.

You bite your lip, your head not moving fast enough to think about a lie. But it seems like you don't have to as Yoongi answers for you.

"Period blood and how inconvenient it is female have to deal with menstruation every fucking month and the surging price of tampons and pads although they are necessities. And of course, about pregnancy and how so many people are still anti-abortion, not giving the woman a choice of her own body. Like you're a seventy-year-old man who's probably also racist and will scream like a pathetic twelve-year-old boy seeing a bloody pad. What gives him any right to say abortion isn't right when he's not the one who has to carry eight pounds of extra weight for fucking nine months. Like get fucking educated, we're in the twenty-first century for God's sake, there has to be a change by now." Yoongi snaps, his eyes narrowed on Sungwoon who went beet red, a splutter leaving the class president's mouth.

"I-I see.... Um, maybe you were right, and I should leave that conversation for you ladies..." Sungwoon hastily gets up, even his ears becoming a shade of crimson as he rushes off with his plate of food.

You look at Yoongi in amusement, not being to help the small laugh of disbelief at Yoongi who has a look of smugness and triumph on his face as he viciously bit into his sausage.

"You sounded like a true feminist right there..... I'm so proud," you hold back a laugh as Yoongi rolls his eyes, the man sending you a cheeky grin as he flips his hair over his shoulder dramatically.

"What do you mean, I am one," Yoongi sends you a deadpan look which you pointedly raise an eyebrow at.

You point your fork at the man, the corner of your lips tugging up, "you might be. But what you said confirmed that you actually do listen to me during those random moment rants I have about equal right and feminist thoughts," you chuckle, swallowing another mouthful of food.

"Of course, I'll listen, babe, it's something you're passionate about," Yoongi mutters lowly, sending you frown, almost looking offended that you were accusing him of not listening to you.

A small laugh leaves your lips as you shake your head, your eyes softening on the man. He was still handsome even with the makeup and wig, his gaze soft as he eyed you with fondness.

"I know, that's why I love you so much."

"That was fucking pointless," Yoongi grumbled in a complaint as he moodily stomped out the church, walking ahead of you, the two of you being the first ones out of the small church.

You roll your eyes, your hands in your sweater as you followed after your partner. "Oh please, you only thought it was pointless because I already told you our schedule for today. If I hadn't, you would have been listening carefully," you tease, lightly bumping your hip against Yoongi when he stopped walking to send you a glare.

You weren't fazed by his look, carelessly shrugging as you hummed, your foot crunching the pebbles under your feet. You admit, while you were not listening to the schedule you were being given, you were looking around in awe as you sat in the small church you were all stuffed into. It was small but beautiful, the stained glass in front of the church magnificent and detailed. You were confident it would have been even more beautiful if the light beamed in. A romantic side of you imagined standing at the podium in a wedding dress for a split second before you shook your head at the idea. Haha, no. At least not for a while.

You look over your shoulder, cheekily grinning at Yoongi, who's expression softened as he saw your smile. "It's this way, right? Let's go pick the better kayaks before they're all taken," you suggest, a light skips in your steps as you tread down the shore of the lake.

You couldn't deny you were feeling slightly giddy. It's been forever since you've kayaked and it almost felt like you were on vacation, away from all these mysterious deaths. A part of you wanted to forget everything about the mission, just pretending like there were no issues in your life. But of course, you couldn't do that.

It doesn't take long for the both of you to be floating in the water, sitting comfortably on your colorful kayaks, already paddling away to the middle of the lake, your classmates barely even getting their kayak and getting instruction by one of the workers.

"The scenery is stunning and it's really peaceful, isn't it?" You questioned Yoongi as you dipped your hand into the water in awe. After a moment you tilt your head up, your eyes squinting at the bright sun that had climbed over your head, your hand subconsciously covered your eyes so you can look at the blue, cloudless sky.

"I would agree if we weren't trying to solve multiple mysterious murders of high school girls and capture a serial killer," Yoongi cooly responds, his eyes showing a hint of boredom as he paddled up next to you.

You send him an accusing look, your lips stretching into a scowl, annoyed that Yoongi ruined the tranquility and the peace you were feeling just a moment ago. Although you're tempted to push him out of the kayak with your paddle, just imaging your painful death caused by Yoongi afterward stops you. Although a wet looking Yoongi is really tempting.

Instead, you decide to retort with something cheeky. But before you can open your mouth and say something, you hear a loud scream, your heart accelerating as your eyes snap to where the sound had come from. However, you calm down, a sigh of relief leaving your lips as you see that it was only Rose and Seulgi who were about to fall out of their respective kayaks.

From what you can see, it seems like Rose had lost balance, not being able to help it as she clutched onto Seulgi who was paddling next to her. And seconds later, you don't even blink as Rose takes down the other girl with her overboard.

Yoongi, who watches beside you snorts, his dark eyes dancing with sick amusement as the two girls screamed and flailed, curses leaving their lips as they bobbed up and down in the water.

With a wry smile, you approached the two screaming girls, Yoongi following behind you begrudgingly, muttering something under his breath. You hold back a laugh when you hear him mumble, "they look like sea cows now with their makeup running..." While you approached Seulgi, Yoongi went to Rose, offering her help by holding out his paddle for her to grasp without a word.

"Fuck you! I don't want your help," Rose shrieked, her hair dripping into her face, the makeup she probably spent hours putting on dripping down her skin, streaks of black running down from her eye.

Yoongi snorted as he rolled his eyes, giving an icy look at the younger girl, annoyance evident in his dark orbs. "Hurry up and hold on before something takes a bite out of you and you lose a toe or something," the way Yoongi says it is nonchalant, but it seems like it gets a reaction out of Rose, the female paling considerably. When Yoongi pushes his paddle to her the second time, she doesn't hesitate to take it this time.

You're almost amused by the whole scene, the corner of your mouth twitching as you hold back a laugh. You're only able to as you reach Seulgi, the poor girl looking miserable as she trod water.

"Here, grab on," you offer her a hand, the girl silently nodding as she takes it, you helping her into your kayak. Seulgi releases a gasp of surprise, not expecting you to be able to support her weight with one arm, lifting her up behind you.

From the corner of your eye, you see Rose and Yoongi arguing, the female still in the water, pointing in your direction. And you swear you heard something like, "get me on your kayak like she is with Seulgi!"

"Fuck off, or I'm going to leave you to drown."

And of course, you're sure that came from Yoongi.

You shake your head at how ridiculous their argument sounds before looking over your shoulder. You almost feel pity for Seulgi who's soaked to her bones, shivering so much that she looks like a combination of a drowned rat and a chihuahua. "Alright, I'll take you back to shore. You should probably take a shower and warm up," you comment as you begin to paddle. The female behind you doesn't speak, which you don't mind, only shrugging your shoulders at her silence.

At least she wasn't running your ear off like Rose was with Yoongi with her complaints.

You feel the bottom of the kayak scratch against the shore of pebbles, coming to a stop, you using your paddle to steady yourself so you wouldn't topple over.

With eyebrows furrowed in concentration, you keep the kayak upright as you feel Seulgi stand up, jumping onto land, her shoes making a squelch. You don't pay much attention, already pushing yourself back into the water, not bothering to look up to see the girl walk off.

However, your head snapped up when you hear a soft voice, your eyes widening in surprise, the corner of your lip twitching into a smile.

Your eyes moved to the side when you hear an angry huff, Rose climbing out of the water and stomping off to the cabins, Yoongi nonchalantly pointing his middle finger up at her retreating figure. However, he looks at you in confusion as he feels your gaze, his bottom lips pulled out almost in a pout.

"What the hell is wrong with your face? You're grinning like a fool," he points out making you laugh and shake your head.

"Oh shut up, she said thank you," you roll your eyes. But you're not able to help the grin from spreading across your lips.

Yoongi's face scrunches up even more, seeming to be lost at what you said. "Huh? What are you talking about?" He questions as he pushes his kayak deeper into the water, paddling up to you.

"Seulgi said thank you," you hummed thoughtfully, a small smile present on your face. Maybe she wasn't that bad...

"Yoongi."

The man beside you winces, a pout on his face as he refused to make eye contact with Namjoon who's on the screen of the laptop in front of you. You just innocently looked at the glassed man, knowing you had no part in the disappointment your leader felt as he addressed your partner.

"I didn't do it."

You don't bother hiding your eye roll, scoffing loudly at Yoongi's pathetic excuse. The raven-haired man glared at you, sending you a stink eye, non-verbally telling you to shut up. You pretend you don't see it, playing with your nails, examining them closely. You're tempted to call out his bullshit but you don't, already knowing your leader was aware that Yoongi was lying as well.

However, your eyes shift back to the computer as you hear a sigh. Namjoon is pinching the bridge of his nose, looking stressed with his eyes closed. Eventually, your leader reopens his eyes, a frown on his face as he looked at you and Yoongi.

"Fine whatever, although I call bullshit. It's not like those cameras are there for your protection. Right? They don't protect you at all. I don't care," Namjoon spit sarcastically. But after a moment he sighs, the anger seeming to deflate, only leaving a tired looking man, "just be careful, you understand me? The safety of the two of you is my first priority, okay?" Namjoon grumbles as he taps his fingers on his desk, a look of concern filing his gentle eyes. However, his expression is quick to shift to one of seriousness, the man in the screen shifting his jaw, his lips getting stretched into a straight line. "Anyhow, there is something-"

"Namjoon! This is ridiculous!"

You see Namjoon on the screen flinch, almost toppling out of his chair as the door behind him slams open, revealing a very familiar man in a white lab coat. You're surprised the mug of coffee that sat on his desk didn't spill at his movement, you being able to see the dark liquid swish around the rims.

Jin's dark eyebrows are furrowed in an expression of frustration, his plump lips shaped into a pout. However, his face shifts to surprise, seeming to have realized he had interrupted a meeting, a look of guilt spreading across his handsome face as his mouth parts.

"Oops, sorry. Didn't know you had a meeting Joon," Jin quickly spoke, moving to grab the door that he had slammed open, "I'll come back later to rant."

Namjoon, who had barely saved himself from falling off his chair had a light scowl on his face. But he raised a hand, stopping Jin, giving his head a quick shake. "it's okay. You can stay, it's actually Y/N and Yoongi. Didn't you say you wanted to talk to them soo-"

"Y/N? Yoongi?" Jin perked up, quickly rushing forward as he peered into the camera, a bright smile spreading across his face. "Y/N! Yoongi!"

You return his look, waving your hand lazily, "hi, Jin-Oppa. It's been a while," you reply, your cheeks lifting up as a small grin spread across your face, happy to see the older man.

Jin rolls his eyes, but sends you a good-hearted smile, "it's been too long! I'm sure the both of you are deprived of seeing my handsome face," Jin brings his thumb and forefinger to his chin and jokingly makes a face that makes a giggle to escape your mouth. Yoongi doesn't look impressed, his expression not changing as he just gives the older male an exasperated look.

Namjoon coughed, making Jin turn to him in question. But seeing Namjoon's look, Jin sports a sheepish smile as he straightens his coat, turning to Yoongi and you.

"Anyhow, I'm glad I was able to catch you two while you're having your meeting with Joonie. I had some updates I wanted to give the both of you verbally and wanted some of your opinions as well," the man spoke lowly as he pulled out a chair to sit.

You nod in understanding, your back straightening as your team's forensic pathologist began to speak.

"I've received the fourth victim's, Im Nayeon's body the day she was found, and my team and I quickly did an autopsy. I've also read the report Jungkook and Taehyung wrote with your help. You assumed drowning was the cause of her death, right?" Jin spoke, the man's eyes thoughtful as he looked at you through the monitor.

You nodded, "yes, that's what it looked like seeing the location I found her in. She was floating in the pond," you comment, your eyes hardening as you recalled how you had found her with Jihoon.

Jin hummed, the man rubbing his chin. "Her autopsy said otherwise, however."

Your eyebrows shot up, your lips parting. "What?"

Jin sighed as he ran a hand roughly through his hair, combing it back. "Her lungs, while there was water inside them, the swelling wasn't large enough for me to assumed she died through drowning. The pleural fluid buildup was significant small as well. So, my guess is that while she might have been in the water for a short amount of time when she was alive, it wasn't the cause of her death. Something else killed her."

A silence falls over all four of you, you trying to process the information Jin told you. Yoongi also has a thoughtful look on his face, his lips pursed.

"The pleural fluid you found, have you sent that to the lab already?" Yoongi questioned, crossing his arms over his chest as he sat back deeper into the chair.

Jin nodded at the question, pulling out his phone, scrolling through the device. "Already done. We compared the pleural fluids found in the girl's lung and the water they collected from the pond and the bacteria and plankton types matched. Although the pleural fluid had significantly less bacteria, which is a bit concerning as well. So I can't really say anything... She might have drowned, she may have not... "

You released a long sigh, rubbing your cheek roughly as you closed your eyes. "This is so fucked up... Why is this killer even targeting these girls...." You mumbled, frustration beginning to build up as you realized you were going nowhere with this investigation.

Yoongi places his warm hand on your knee, giving it a comforting squeeze although his expression doesn't change. You smiled at his sweet action before turning back to the screen where Seokjin was eyeing his phone, probably reading some of the results of the autopsies he had conducted.

"And do you remember when I said I think some chemicals might be injected into the bodies?" Jin questioned, finally looking up, nibbling on his lips, almost looking like he might just bite them off.

You nod, remembering exactly what he was talking about. "It came out positive?" You questioned, thinking back to when you had found Nayeon and how you assumed she might have embalming fluid in her as well seeing the state her body was in.

"No," Jin releases a loud hiss, his orbs filling with frustration and annoyance. "It came out damn negative. Nothing. I couldn't find anything unnatural. Absolutely fucking nothing and it's driving me insane," the forensic pathologist spat out as he closed his eyes. "I looked at all four bodies multiple times, sent them out to the lab, but everything came out negative. I've tested every chemical that people can use to create housemade embalming fluids but nothing. Nothing was unnatural to them except their actual body's state. Although they're getting refrigerated and preserved, we can't prevent decomposition from happening little by little. And I swear to god, the decomposition of all four bodies are going through is too slow."

Just hearing Jin's voice, you can detect the stress and confusion he was dealing with. Which wasn't something you were used to. Jin was a genius in forensic studies, the man often bragging he had over 2500 autopsy counts when he's only twenty-six. There weren't many cases he struggled with but.... this killer was definitely giving you all a run for your money.

Jin sighed as he sat up in his chair, "anyhow, there's some other lab result I need to tell you. We did find drugs in the digestive system of the second victim, Manoban Lalisa. A hefty amount of sleeping pills. But," Jin pauses as breathed out slowly, "only a few of them were getting broken down. Most of them still maintained their forms and weren't dissolved yet, which makes me think...."

"They weren't the cause of her death either...." You conclude, Jin nodding in agreement, the older man's face twisting grimly. "So, we can completely scratch away the doubt that the second victim it might have been a suicide. I'm positive there's a killer somewhere out there. But I still can't figure out how these girls are getting killed. I have no idea with the first girl either. Her death doesn't make sense, especially when the venom in her system shouldn't even be found in the area she was found in. And don't get me even started on the third girl....!"

Yoongi, Namjoon and you all hold back a wince as Jin screeches, nearly pulling out his dark locks. You send a look of pity to Namjoon who had endured the full-blown screech of Jin, the man rubbing his ear to surely get rid of the ringing.

"You won't even believe it! When we were doing an autopsy on the first girl, my assistant had to run out when we were collecting the sample contents in her stomach. That kid literally flew out of the room to go throw up! That brat had the guts to leave me there although I was suffering through the smell as well! This is why we shouldn't take incapable interns!" Jin scowled, crossing his arm over his chest. He paused, his expression changing as he realized what he said, his eyebrows furrowing. "Actually, now that I mention it, Kim Yerim's body hadn't been in a bad state, but her stomach content was definitely beginning to go through quite the shit. The bacteria growth and swelling were quite marvelous..."

You make a face at Jin's words, your stomach churning in disgust, holding back a small gag as you just imagined the stench the older man spoke about. While you were okay with dead bodies, you didn't have the stomach to actually cut them open and talk so nonchalantly about it like Jin. While it did fascinate you to some level, you weren't like Jin who could easily eat lunch in the same room as a dead body.

Oh hell, no.... Just the thought about it makes you squeamish.

"Is there anything else you'd like to tell them, Jin?" Namjoon politely questioned, the man releasing a loud sigh, his shoulders slumping at his action.

Jin shook his head in response, a weak smile on his face. "Nope," the man popped the 'p' childishly, "I'm done."

Namjoon nodded in understanding before he looked back at you and Yoongi, "I'll make him send you guys the full report soon," your leader promised as he intertwined his fingers together on his desk. "Keep your eyes open and make sure you keep me updated as well, alright? If you find anything unusual, anything, don't hesitate to message me. Yoongi, I already looked through your report, and I'm doing a thorough investigation on all the people you've found suspicious so far."

Hearing this, you raise an eyebrow at your partner, the dark-haired man completely ignoring your questioning look, much to your dismay. People Yoongi found suspicious? The guy found everyone suspicious for God's sake!

"Alright, stay safe you two, keep me updated."

Seconds later the monitor turned black, a silence falls over the room. Yoongi doesn't look at you as he stands up, the man has an unreadable expression on his face.

You watch him in confusion as he walks into the restroom, closing the door behind him, leaving you alone sitting in the bed.

What the hell....?

"She a lying bitch....." You hissed under your breath as you glared at the woman with bright red painted lips who spoke animatedly to the students as she stood in front of the church.

Yoongi snorts, his dark orbs dancing with amusement as you hissed, barely containing your annoyance as Hani spoke about mental health and how she was willing to talk to all students who needed help. "All" as in all the boys, forget the girls. Sexist wo-

Your eyes dart to the side when you hear a chuckle, Jihoon who sat beside you covering his mouth with his hand. The boy sent you a small grin as he felt your gaze. "Noona, you're scary when you're angry."

"She's like Medusa, isn't she?" Yoongi comments, making Jihoon snort and you bristle.

"I am not," you argue, your eyebrows furrowing and your eyes narrowed on Yoongi who only return your glance with a blink. "I just dislike her, you hear me? Jihoon, I swear to god, don't believe that witch. Don't ever stay in a room alone with her, do you understand? A cutie like you will get eaten up so quickly you wouldn't even have time to blink and squeak out a single sound," you warn, genuinely meaning every word you said.

Jihoon's cheeks flush a bright pink, a look of embarrassment spreading across his face. However, there was also a hint of curiosity in his innocent orbs as he leaned forward, bending his neck to whisper into your ear.

"Are those rumors true.....?" Jihoon questioned hesitantly, his voice low and uneasy, his knee bouncing as he sat next to you.

You raise an eyebrow, but keep your expression neutral, not looking at the boy while speaking. "Which one?"

Jihoon coughs, the boy not being able to help the look of uneasiness from washing over his features. He seemed to hesitate, nibbling on his lower lip as he gazed forward, looking at Hani.

"Um, well the one where Ms. Ahn, um, likes to uh...."

"Suck dick? Yeah, that's true so stay away from her," Yoongi snorts, Jihoon's head snapping towards Yoongi in alarm, his eyes wide with disbelief.

You hold in a giggle at the crude way Yoongi said it. The man doesn't even change expressions as Jihoon stared at him in shock.

"It's true....?" Jihoon squeaks, looking at you for confirmation when Yoongi didn't reply. When you give him a weak smile, the boy slowly nodded before turning back to look at the stage, an unreadable look spreading across his face.

"I don't think I can trust anyone anymore. Especially women...."

You and Yoongi couldn't help the choke from leaving either of your lips as you hold in the laugh. You're having a small coughing fit while Yoongi clears his throat, coughing into his closed first once before swallowing.

"I've heard a lot about her as well~."

You stiffened, looking back in alarm as you see a smiling boy who's sitting at the edge of his chair. You can't help but frown as you recognize the male, the same boy who had sat in front of you on the bus. Lee Daehwi.

"She's scary, I don't like her much," the boy with dyed hair commented, keeping that smile on his face. "I thought I was going to get snatched up a couple of time before too! Barely escaped with all my limbs attached and nothing damaged," the boy states as if he didn't care much.

Yoongi eyes lit up with recognition, his mouth stretching into a line as he glared at the younger male. "Did we ask you?" Yoongi snapped, his eyes cold as he barely even acknowledged Daehwi who only pouted, his lips sticking out looking like a duck toy.

The boy leaned forward, even more, looking like an excitable puppy as he smiled at the three of you, taking a second to observe each of your faces. "Aw, come on! Don't exclude me from this conversation! I'm so bored already, and I love some good old drama!" Daehwi whined, childishly shaking his fist in front of him like a toddler who's throwing a fit.

Jihoon who sat beside you looked like he didn't know how to respond, looking between all of you with a look of concern. Yoongi, on the other hand, seemed deadly, an exasperated look shadowing his eyes.

Daehwi seemed like he didn't notice your partner's death glare or he was just simply ignoring it, only merrily smiling. "Did you know, while Ms. Ahn likes younger boys, she absolutely despises girls? I heard she made one of the first year girls cry for calling out her weight gain during the yearly checkup we have at the beginning of the year. Most of the female population don't even bother going to the infirmary because they know Ms. Ahn wouldn't help. So you can say she's hated~" the younger boy grinned wicked, his eyes dancing with sick amusement that makes you eye him in suspicion.

You stare at Daehwi, watching as the male just sends you a bright smile, his eyes narrowing into a crescent moon. However, you blink as you see that smile falter for a split second, the boy's brown orbs taking an icy look, his lips still stretched into a smile.

Your lips part, you feeling Yoongi stiffening beside you at Daehwi's next words.

"I wouldn't want you to be a victim too, Y/N-Sunbae."

Your eyes hardened as you sit up in your seat, trying to understand the meaning of Daehwi's words. But his expression morphs back to the smiley demeanor that makes you question if you really saw such a cold look on the boy.

"The fuck are you trying to say?" Yoongi's jaw clenches, you holding back a dry swallow as you see a fiery storm brewing in his dark orbs.

Daehwi only releases a giggle, shrugging his shoulders innocently, his head tilting to the side in a childish way that reminds you of a puppy. "Nothing really? It's just that I feel like all the pretty girls at our schools are meeting unfortunate ends recently. And Y/N-Sunbae is prettier than all of them, so I'm just worried." Daehwi suddenly pauses, his eyes widening as he looks at Yoongi. "Oh, not that you're not pretty Yoonji-Sunbae! You are but, if you're pretty, Y/N-sunbae is angelic, and even all the girls who have died weren't as pretty as her!"

You can't help but feel uneasy at Daehwi's words, Yoongi barely containing his anger as he sits beside you. Jihoon, who's on the side of you awkwardly keeps his mouth closed, seeming uneasy. But the kid's smart, looking down at his hand, obviously pretending to not participate in the conversation.

You sigh, placing a confident smile as you eyed Daehwi who was watching you with curiosity. "Thanks for the warning, Daehwi-ssi. But the only way I'm planning on dying is from old age, so don't worry."

Like hell, you were gonna get killed.

A giant, unattractive yawn escapes your mouth as you sit by yourself at one of the tables of the dining hall, tiredly sipping on a steaming mug of coffee. While a part of you had wanted to stay in bed with Yoongi to cuddle, you weren't one to skip breakfast. Yoongi, on the other hand, felt that sleep was more important than food, staying in bed to catch few more hours of sleep seeing as the day's morning was open to do whatever the seniors wanted. Which meant, your boyfriend was going to stay under the covers until you dragged him out.

You nibbled on your bowl of strawberries, your eyes droopy with how drowsy you felt. Other students around you looked like they were in the same state as you, most of them being underclassmen, most seniors sleeping in.

Hearing quiet chatters, you raised your eyebrow up in interest, seeing a small group of teachers standing together talking in hushed tones.

"Have you seen Ms. Ahn this morning?"

"No, I haven't. The last I saw her was when she had the students gathered in the church last night..."

You rolled your eyes, deciding you would rather not think about where the she-witch may have been. You were sure Ahn Hani had some poor boy in her grasp right now, an image that made you sick in your stomach as you thought about it.

With your lips curling, you stuffed a whole strawberry into your mouth, ignoring how a bit of juice leaked out the corner of your lips, your tongue quickly collecting the sweet nectar. But you stop midchew, your eyes widening a fraction as you see a male looking down at you. A boy you would have never expected to approach you.

You swallow quickly, your cheeks tinting a light pink in embarrassment at being caught with your mouth so full. Jinyoung doesn't seem to notice, nervously playing with the hem of his shirt as he swallowed.

"Hi there, Jinyoung," you slowly speak, your voice soft as you gazed up at the tall boy who awkwardly stood in front of you.

The boy released his bottom lip he was biting nervously, his dark eyes finally meeting yours. "H-Hi, Y/N-sunbae... Is it... Is it alright with you i-if I sat with you....?"

You barely contain your surprise, masking your shock with a smile as you made space for the younger boy. Jinyoung seemed to hesitate for a second before he awkwardly folds his leg, his knees hitting the underside of the table because of how long his limbs are.

"I haven't seen you around recently," you comment, picking up another strawberry with your thumb and forefinger, biting into the red fruit.

The boy nods, his eyes seeming to waver a bit as he looked at you. "I've been busy...." Jinyoung admits, brushing his raven bangs out of his face. "And I don't really like being out, so I rather stay indoors...."

You nod in understanding, eyeing his pale skin. Yeah, you could see that he barely goes out. You watch him in curiosity as he eats, the boy seeming to be uncomfortable under your stare. But he doesn't show any signs of moving. Something you find very very interesting.

Jinyoung coughs lightly as he stabs a piece of scrambled egg with his fork. The dark haired boy eyes you, looking as if there was something he wanted to say, the words coming to the tip of his tongue.

You don't comment, pretending you don't notice his hesitance as you inhale deeply from your nose, the roasted scent of coffee flooding your senses.

"Um, I was actually planning on looking for Ms. Ahn later...." You almost choke, your eyes that were closed snapping open as you stare at Jinyoung who spoke.

"W-What?" You can't help as you stutter, your eyes wide as you stared at the boy who awkwardly continued to eat. You slowly bring your hand to your nose, making sure you didn't have any coffee dripping out of your nostrils, feeling the uncomfortable sting near your eyes.

Jinyoung cleared his throat, looking at you with a frown, "yeah... I think therapy might be-"

"No. No, no, no, no, no! Don't go to her! I-I heard that she's been missing for a bit so she might be a bit busy right now!" You quickly speak, your mouth twitching as you tried to smile but you were struggling to maintain the carefree smile.

Jinyoung's eyebrows jumped up, his mouth parting in surprise at your words. "She's been missing? T-That's not good, they should go look for her! What happens if something bad happened to her? What if-"

"I'm sure she's fine. She is a grown woman, maybe she needed a break from all the students coming to her and went out to go for a walk early in the morning before everyone else was awake," you reassured, not being able to help but feel the distaste for the woman as you spoke about her. You cringe, just imagining the woman's manicured finger grabbing hold of Yoongi. Oh, you can definitely imagine her moving her attention to your boyfriend if he revealed his real gender and how he looks. Oh, go-

"Um... But I-" You don't even notice the look of concern and a hint of panic spread across the younger boy's face, Jinyoung's eyes darting around him as his eyes searched around the room.

"How about this! You can talk to me, I've been told I'm an excellent listener, maybe I can help!" You babble, nodding to yourself at the thought.

The dark haired male pursed his lips, conflict seeming to spread in his orbs as you smiled at him, trying to look as convincing as you could.

"A-Alright," Jinyoung slowly began, a small frown present on his face, "but, I'm not really comfortable talking about it here.... Um, do you think we can go somewhere private where we wouldn't get seen? Especially since well, I wouldn't want you getting seen with me more than this and causing issues for you..."

You hum in understanding, a small frown on your face as you see the boy's shoulder slump. Although his form was much larger than yours, he looked so small in his seat as he curled his back, lowering his head.

"We don't have much time right now because I have to go to my class with the other kids in my grade but, uh, we can meet up later? Before dinner...?" Jinyoung hesitantly suggests, smiling weakly. "I-I know a place where people don't really go, and I actually think you might enjoy it there..."

At that moment, several thoughts ran through your mind. A logical part of you was raising alarm flags, suspicious about his unusual request. But another hopeful part of you was thinking it didn't seem weird seeing as it was coming from this awkward boy...

"Sure! Let me know where I could meet you, yeah?" You speak, keeping the smile on your face. Giving a once over of the boy in front of you, you could see although he was tall, at least a head taller than you, he was lanky. If something did happen, you could easily take him down without blinking unless he tries something sneaky and takes you by surprise. Which you weren't going to let happen.

Jinyoung smiled weakly as he nodded, his eyes shifting to the door when he sees some of the teachers beginning to gather students from his class. "In front of the church... An hour before dinner..."

You nod in understanding, watching as the boy quickly stands up to his feet, gathering the plates he had finished during your conversation. "Sounds good, Jinyoung," Jinyoung stands above you for a second, his expression shifting, looking as if he wanted to say something else. But he just sends you a tight-lipped smile nodding at you.

"I'll see you later, sunbae...."

"You don't need to call me, sunbae, Jinyoung. We're friends, right?" You smiled, cocking your head to the side lightly. Your words made a light pink tint of a blush spread across the pale boy's cheek, the boy shyly nodding.

"A-Alright, Y/N-Noona..." Jinyoung stutters before giving you one last nod of acknowledgment as he stiffly walked away, entering the line of students. You watched him leave as you shift in your seat, your chin resting on your hand.

A part of you thinks nothing is abnormal about the boy you were talking to just a moment ago. But there was an unmistakable uneasiness around the boy that just didn't make sense.

You purse your lips, your eyes hardening as you watched him leave the dining hall along with his classmates.

'What is he hiding.....?'

Yoongi holds back a grunt, his ear ringing loudly as another ear piercing scream echoes right beside him. His eyes dart to the culprit of the sound that was similar to a screech of a pig that was getting butchered, his lips curling in annoyance as he clicked his tongue. You watch the shift of his expression from beside him with amusement. However, your own ringing ears make you wince, a weak smile on your lips as you hold the bug net with your right hand.

"It's so gross! Get it away! Get it away!" Rose shrieked, the girl flinching as she squealed, running away from what the teacher caught, her face scrunching up in horror.

The teacher ignores her, a wide grin spread across the man's face as he stuck his hand in the net, pulling at the organism that was around the size of his fist. "Gather up all of you! I want you all to take a look at this!"

You and Yoongi stand in the back, your arms crossed over your chest as the science teacher, Mr. Lee begins to animatedly speak. He was one of the older teachers the school had, probably in his late fifties. And you've noticed he was one of those teachers who loved colorful, weird ties too much.

"This is all the frog I want each pair of you to capture, it's called a bullfrog! I've gotten a go from the rangers of this lake to capture them because they are one of the invasive species we have on this lake that wreak havoc on the ecosystem. They outcompete and eat everything, and a lot of the fish and animals that originally lived in these waters are declining because of them," you hold back a snicker as a group of girls squeak as the man held the frog up for them to see with his bare hands, his fingers holding the legs of the frog tightly. "It's because of this reason that we have been allowed to collect them for our science experiments and dissection. The park ranger has been taking necessary measures of collecting these pesky critters and exterminate them."

Yoongi bent his neck slightly, his mouth moving to your ears. "An ugly motherfucker. Reminds me of Jin," the man's lips tilted up to a mean smirk, seeming to be amused by his own joke.

You just roll your eyes, knowing it wasn't true. There was no way Jin was ugly in any way, Yoongi and you both knew that. "Jin-oppa would kill if he ever found out you were comparing him to a frog and calling him ugly," you comment with a pointed look, Yoongi shrugging his shoulders at your remark.

Your head snaps back to Mr. Lee when you hear another wave of shrieks, this time some wince of the boys joining in on the high pitched sounds. You barely blink as you see that the teacher had stabbed the frog in the head with a pin that was the length of his hand, a scene you've seen a handful of time when you still went to school.

"Can anyone tell me what I did?" The teacher questioned, holding up the now limp frog that was no longer struggling in his hand. The class is silent, none of them being able to speak at the brutal scene they witnessed, you almost scoffing at how babied their generation has been.

The teacher looks around expectedly, waiting for a response with a frown, seeming to ignore the wide-eyed look most of your classmates were giving him. Just as he seemed like he was going to give up receiving an answer, Yoongi opened his mouth from beside you.

"You pithed the frog, paralyzed it's lower body."

The man now looked at you and Yoongi hopefully, seemed to be pleased that at least someone was participating in his lesson. "And why would I do that?"

"It's ethically immoral to not put the animal out of its misery when you're about to dissect it. It's cruel to pin them down when they are alive and just cut them open. Also, it would be much harder if they were still moving," you speak up, ignoring how some of the students were watching both you and Yoongi, low whispers leaving their mouths.

"Correct," Mr. Lee nodded at the two of you in approval before facing the other students who silently watched, "do you all think I am being cruel?" He questioned, placing the frog on a tray as he begins to pin legs down with its stomach facing up.

Sungwoon slowly raises his hand, a look of unease on his face as he warily looked at the scalpel Mr. Lee took out from his box, "um, wouldn't it be better if the students didn't witness something like this...? Many animal activist groups would immediately be appalled by the idea of killing an animal in class...."

Mr. Lee seemed amused by the answer he received, his eyes moving to the other students, waiting for different opinions. When he receives none, his eyes drifted to the back where you and Yoongi stood. "Miss Min, Miss Kim, I would like to know your opinions."

Yoongi lazily lifts his head, brushing his hair over his shoulder, his lips that were painted a light pink pursed. "I don't see a problem with it. They're being exterminated already by the rangers, I don't see much of a difference if we do it ourselves. And while those activist groups say it's cruel, I find it humane. We capture the frogs right now before they overpopulate the lake to the point where there's no more food left for them. I say it's better to regulate their population now instead of letting it grow and later let them die through starvation."

When you feel Mr. Lee's as well as all of your classmate's gaze on you, you nod. "I agree a bit with Yoonji. It's sad to think that it is very likely that these bullfrogs were introduced into this lake by humans themselves, probably for the purpose of food or someone releasing the pet they had because they no longer wanted it. These frogs had no fault, they just live, and breed like their instinct tells them to and in the end because of humans carelessness and selfishness, when they become too much to handle, they have to get exterminated by humans again. But like Yoonji said, since they are getting exterminated already, I don't see why it is bad if we do it as well. Especially because their life wouldn't get wasted because their bodies will be used for educational purpose," you explain, noticing some of the student's look at you in awe, some seeming like they weren't able to keep up with what you were saying. "It makes me wonder how the Rangers are taking care of this issue because, in some countries, the bullfrog is considered a delicacy and perhaps they can use this incident as a chance to process these frogs to be placed on the tables for those who struggle to feed themselves. And if that's not possible, maybe use the bodies as fertilizers to create gardens for vegetables. And about those humanitarian group that protects animal rights, I understand their point. But I think if we are humanly able to end their life, it can be acceptable, especially since it's for the purpose of learning."

You don't look away from Mr. Lee although you hear Yoongi's exasperated sigh, probably rolling his eyes as your overly worded answer.

Mr. Lee himself seemed delighted by your answer, grinning widely. "What an excellent response, Miss Kim! I had the same exact question about what the Rangers have been doing. It seemed like they have been sending the frogs for research facilities where they embalm the frogs and prepare them for dissection for other schools. Which is something we are going to do today! I want you all catching at least one bullfrog so I can embalm them and bring them back to campus for the next year students!"

One student raised her hand, looking slightly green to the face, "w-when you say embalm, what do you exactly mean? What kind of chemical do you use?"

"Another excellent question. By embalming, we are preserving the organism by using chemicals. I'm going to go use formalin solution to embalm the frogs we captured so we can have them for a long time. I'm sure you've seen embalmed organs and animals before, we have an embalmed piglet in the science lab on campus," Mr. Lee comments, the man wiping his hand on his shorts, much to many people's dismay, yours included. The said man claps his hand, "alright, back to work, again, I want at least one bullfrog captured by each pair. If you are not successful, you fail the class for the day. Make sure you bring it to me so I can mark you and your partner down."

Begrudgingly, the class was dismissed to go search for frogs. You held your bug net in your hand lazily, following Yoongi who was leading you away from screeching students.

"Bullfrogs can be found in shallow areas, so we should go near grassy areas with a bit of water," Yoongi comments, you not arguing with the male. It seemed like Yoongi knew about bullfrogs more than you and if you recall, you think Yoongi had once told you he used to go catch bugs and frogs when he was younger with his older brother...

You stopped for a bit, your feet carrying you to edge of the water, eyeing how some stones were covered in water grass and moss. You opened your mouth to call out to Yoongi to wait, catching sight of a frog croaking away. But before you could, you gasped, a rough hand pushing into the middle of your back. Everything seemed like it moved in slow motion, your eyes closing as your face met with the surface of the water, your whole body getting soaked.

As fast as you landed in the water, you sat up in disbelief, turning round to see who attacked you with a scowl. Your eyes met Rose, who was grinning evilly, standing on the shore looking extremely dry and pleased.

"Oh, oops. My bad, I thought I saw a frog and got scared. Didn't realize it was you," the girl snarked, her lips stretching out so wide, you swear her face might split up into two. Behind her, students watched in shock.

You keep your expression stoic, looking up at the girl in front of you. However, you send a warning glare to Yoongi who had witnessed what had happened when he turned around after he heard your gasp. Yoongi was fuming, his pale complexion turning red as he stomped up to the girl, looking as if he could murder her on the spot. But he abruptly stopped when you narrowed your eyes on him, seeming to cool his head in a split second as he remembered he couldn't just punch the living daylights out of Rose's eyes.

"O-Oh my god! Rose! What the hell are you doing?" Sungwoon gasped as he ran up to you, ignoring how he walked into the lake, the water coming up to his calves as he helped your soaking form stand up by pulling you up by your forearm. You brush his hold away from you, nodding at him in thanks before looking back at Rose.

You sighed, wringing your hair as well as your shirt, the water thoroughly soaking you from head to toe. You even pulled out a piece of moss from your hair, limply dropping it back to the water after examining it for a split second.

"Rose, what the hell. Apologize!" Sungwoon snapped, looking at the female in disbelief, his eyes clouding with disapproval.

Rose ignored Sungwoon, her arms crossed over her chest, "like I said, I mistook her as a bullfrog, she looks like one doesn't she? Don't you also think so, Y/N? You're a damn, ugly frog that you should get fucking killed like them," the female snickers, apparently finding her own statement funny. However, she frowns when you don't react, the girl's face twitching. She also looks back, thinking someone would agree with her. But the class just stares, looking at everything happening in anticipation, an uneasy feeling filling the air.

Some students whisper to each other, looking as if they didn't know what to do. You can see some of them looking at you in pity, while others just kept their head down, probably in fear of tasting Rose's wrath.

You eye her for a split second before sighing and shaking your head, moving to climb out of the water, walking past Rose. But before you can, she wraps her hand through your hair, yanking it back, making your head fly back.

"You bitc-" You hear Yoongi begin to shout but before he could finish his words, the loud sound of flesh meeting flesh cuts him off. You don't even process the pain of the slap that hits your cheek for the first few seconds, your eyes rounding in disbelief. It takes your brain a bit to process the pain, your cheek feeling the sting and the pain of your neck as it whipped to the side at the impact.

"Oh, shit...."

"Holy-"

Your eyes become blank, your stomach suddenly bubbling with anger that you haven't felt in a while.

Rose's lips are snarled to the point where she flashes her teeth, her manicured finger now stabbing to the middle of your chest, jabbing at it with every word she speaks. "You think you're all so high and mighty? Bitch please, you've just transferred to our school. You're just fucking trash. Fucking worthless trash, do you hear me? You really think I'll let you parade around? Think again Kim. I'm going to drag you all over the floor and you'll never want to come back."

Everyone else was silent, staring at the scene in disbelief. Even Yoongi had shut up, his eyes wide as he recognized your expression. Over the years, he's found out when you were really angry, you didn't show it. Your eyes became blank, your face stoic. And that was when you did the most damage when you shut down your emotions and let yourself wreak havoc. Yoongi hesitates for once, not knowing what he should do. A part of him wants you to teach a lesson to the fucking brat, but at the same time, he knows if he lets you, you might end up with an unwanted death in your hand. Something you were very much possible of doing.

"Y/N, dude, lets-" Yoongi begins, finally deciding if you did end up letting your anger run its course on Rose, the girl was going to end up dead. And even if Yoongi didn't like her, maybe even death was a bit too harsh for Rose.

"What is going on here?" Everyone snapped out of their shock at Mr. Lee's panicked entrance, the man running to both you and Rose, his eyes wide. "What happened here? Why is Miss Kim soaked?" the man questioned, looking between you and Rose, the two of you still having a staring contest.

However, you're the first to look away, smiling at the older man. "It was an accident. I was about to catch a bullfrog, but the stone was covered in moss, and I slipped and fell in the water," you smoothly lie, your anger dissipating at the presence of the teacher, you immediately cooling your head. "And Rose here, helped me get back to my feet, so I was just thanking her," you explain, giving the man and Rose a sweet smile.

Mr. Lee didn't seem to be too convinced by your words but nodded, eyeing you worriedly. "I-I see... It seems like you may have cut your cheek when you fell, Miss Kim. I would go get it checked out if I were you," the man warned, a frown spreading on his face.

Your hand moved to your cheek, holding back a grimace as you felt a sharp pain. When you pulled your hand back, you eyed your finger that was smeared with a bit of blood. Rose's manicured witch nails must have caught your cheek when she slapped you. Without even looking, you knew the wound didn't look like a gash caused by a falling, but Mr. Lee didn't comment, the man probably deciding to overlook it or turn a blind eye to it because.... well because Rose was involved. You didn't find that strange seeing as her family was one of the main donors for the school and the science department surely took advantage of that money.

Mr. Lee awkwardly coughed, eyeing you from the corner of his eyes while his body was turned towards Rose, "since you and Miss Min were excellent today, I shall excuse you for this assignment. Why don't you go-"

"That won't be necessary Mr. Lee," you cut off the man, lifting your hand up and presenting the bullfrog you had in your hand the whole time. You hold back a smirk, seeing Rose step back with a grimace when she noticed the slimy creature. "Here, this is for you. May we be dismissed? I would like to take a shower and hopefully get this cut cleaned," you questioned as you pushed the frog into the man's hand, ignoring the look of awe the other students sent your way.

"A-Ah, yes... Excellent jobs, Miss Kim, Miss Min. An A-plus..."

You nod once before proudly keeping your head up to walk to Yoongi who was watching with a proud grin. However, you paused as you passed a frozen Rose, the girl looking like she was fuming, her fist clenched into a tight fist beside her.

"Thanks for the help, Rose. I'll sure to give the kindness you showed to me back when I have a chance, alright?" You sweetly give her a smile, a hidden promise in your word. Before you leave, you make sure to use the hand you were holding the frog to pat her back, the girl freezing at the action as you begin walking again, Yoongi joining you.

After the two of you make a small distance, your partner chuckles, sending you a gummy smile. "That was fucking hot as hell, do you know that, Y/N? That dominance was fucking hot as hell." Yoongi keeps his voice low, his stride matching yours as he throws an arm over your shoulder, not caring that he was getting his own clothes wet because of you. He sends you a proud grin, his hand coming up to ruffle your wet strands.

You can't help but scowl, your face losing the sweet facade as your gritted your teeth. Your eyes glinted with anger as you give Yoongi a look that made the man quickly pull his arm away from you."That bitch is gonna taste hell, I swear to god, I'm gonna make her cry...." You hissed, much to Yoongi's amusement.

Rose was going to fucking pay... Oh yes, she was....

Sometimes, you honestly wondered how Yoongi was able to sleep so damn much. You swear, if you didn't wake him up, he could be asleep for twenty-four hours, not moving a single muscle, staying in the same positions for hours. Not that you were complaining because your phone had numerous albums of pictures where Yoongi is curled up in a small ball with his hands nestled in between his legs, one of your favorite sleeping quirks he has.

And because of his tendency to sleep so much, you were able to sneak out of your room without him waking up. He had fallen asleep about thirty minutes ago beside you, while you reviewed the report Jin had sent to you after the meeting with him and Namjoon.

Now, you were in front of the church, an hour before dinner, waiting for Jinyoung.

"H-Hi, Y/N-Noona," Jinyoung nervously stuttered as he approached you, his eyes looking around as if he was making sure no one saw the two of you. When he finally looks at you, he frowns, his eyes landing on your cheek that has an obnoxious pink band-aid Jin had probably sneaked into your medical kit before the mission. Yoongi literally had to wrestle you down, sitting on your form to slap it on with an evil, amused cackle.

"Um... Should I ask?"

You smiled, raising an eyebrow at him, muttering a single name. "Rose."

You didn't have to say anything else, the younger boy nodding in understanding, sending you a look of pity for a split second before, leading away. You don't argue, following behind Jinyoung as the boy enters a building, the double doors being so large they towered over your head.

A gasp escaped your lips, your eyes wide with awe as you slowly spun around, eyeing the shelves after shelves of books towering over your heads. The smell of parchment was soothing, rows after rows of neatly lined books with their spine facing you greeted your eyes.

"This is..." You whisper slowly, your finger grazing some of the spines, your fingers getting coated in thin dust, proof that not many people visit this library.

Jinyoung turns around, you're taken back seeing the smile he sends you, not expecting him to show such carefree expression. He actually looked like he was his age for once, the corner of his eyes crinkling, a childish look on his face.

"Breathtaking? I know, this is my favorite place at this camp," the boy admits, fondly picking up a book, flipping through the pages. "Because it is a religious camp, half of these are religious writings that I don't understand. But there are a few that I enjoy."

You nod, walking up to the boy, eyeing the book he picked up with interest before finding a book for yourself. "How did you find this place? It's beautiful," you comment, looking up at the ceiling, seeing the stained glasses and the colorful design.

Jinyoung seemed to hesitate, the boy's dark brown eyes wavering for a split second before he sighed. "I've never been an outgoing kid, but my parents always sent me to this camp since I was in elementary until the end of middle school," the boy explains, placing the book back in the shelf, "I hated this place, didn't fit in. But there were two places I liked, and this is one of them. I was holed up in here for hours, just reading."

You hummed, inhaling slowly before leaning your back into a shelf, watching as the boy straightened his back, putting the book he had in his hand away.

"Actually, there's a book I think you might just like, I read it for the first time in middle school," Jinyoung explained, his eyebrows furrowing as he walked deeper into the library, his eyes going over each shelf carefully, obviously searching for a specific book. You followed after him idly, looking around in awe. You admit you can understand why Jinyoung liked this place so much. In a way it felt magical, making you think about Hogwarts. You can imagine the school's library looking at this if it really did exist.

"So, where exactly is the other place you like?" You questioned, following after him, reading some of the titles written on the spine of the book, your nose scrunching at how ridiculous some of them were. You were definitely not going to ever pick up some of these books...

Jinyoung doesn't answer for a bit, concentrating on looking for the particular book. He pulls out a book once, frowning before placing it back seeing that it was not the one he was looking for. "The church. When you go there at 6 AM, right when the first light of the day comes up, the light enters the church through the stained glass, and it's the most beautiful," Jinyoung explained without stopping his search, his eyes briefly meeting yours. "I actually go every morning to go see it, so if you would like, you can join me tomorrow morning," the boy offered, ducking his head and scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment.

You can't help the grin, delighted by the idea. You eagerly nodding, agreeing to his offer. When you first entered the church, you did wonder how the stained glass would look with the sunlight coming through, your curious mind eager to see it yourself. You can already imagine it being a magical experience, a smile spreading across your face as you thought about how pretty it would look.

"Ah! Found it!"

You snap out of your thought, your eyes moving to the boy who yelled out, seeming to be grinning widely at his accomplishment.

Jinyoung held a book in his hand, carefully running his hand over the cover, brushing off a layer of dust that covered it. The boy coughed, looking like he was holding back a sneeze as the dust flew into the air in tiny particles, you being able to see them from the light entering from overhead.

The dark haired boy wiggled his nose, making a smile spread across your face, the action reminding you of the maknae of your team, Jungkook's childish grin popping up in your mind.

"Here, Noona. You should definitely read this..." You look up, your eyes meeting Jinyoung's gaze. You were expecting a light almost carefree attitude from the boy. Instead, he stared at you, a small frown on his face, almost seeming like he wasn't just lightly recommending the book to you.

You carefully take the medium sized book, the leather a dark blue, cracked with age and the paper yellow and worn out as if someone had turned the page over a thousand times. The yellow parchment seemed brittle, the stitching that held them together barely doing its job, the smell of mold and dust entering your nose as you opened the first pages.

"Lucifer....?" You carefully read the black calligraphy before looking up, Jinyoung staring at you with a blank look. You can't help but feel unease as you recognize the name quite easily. Lucifer, more known as Satan, the devil himself...

"It's not very long, only eight chapters. But," Jinyoung pauses as he scratches his cheek, seeming to think of what to say, his eyebrows furrowing as he searched for the right words. "I-I think the book would have a lot of information you might be able to use, Noona. Information that can be very useful..."

Your eyebrows furrow at his words, not having a full understanding of what Jinyoung was talking about.

"I don't really understand, Jinyoung. What are you-"

Jinyoung swallows as he grabs hold of your hand, your eyes looking at how his knuckles turned white. You're holding back a wince as he gripped your fingers very tightly, you feeling the bone shifting a tad bit. "Noona," the boy seem to struggle to speak, his face scrunching up, "just please... just please read this book, I'm begging you. You're smart, you'll figure it out. I know you will.... But please don't make me say it... I-I don't think I can-"

Your eyes widened as Jinyoung began to hyperventilate, a look of pain spreading across his pale face. He dropped your hand, his fingers grasping his chest as he wheezed, falling to his knee. You're immediately beside him, your hand rubbing his back as he coughed, his breathing sounding like a high pitched whistle. It doesn't even take you a second to recognize that he was having a panic attack, Jinyoung's pupils dilated so big, his brown orbs were completely black.

"Breathe, Jinyoung. Breath slowly, you can do it," you softly mumble as you continued to rub his back, the boy's wheezing becoming light, his shoulders heaving as he tried to catch his breath.

"I-I..."

You sigh as you help the boy sit down, leaning him against one of the bookshelves. "Shhh... Calm down kid, you just had a panic attack," you explained, folding your arms over your chest as you watched the boy close his eyes, his head falling back to hit the bookshelf behind him. Jinyoung's skin was damp because of sweat, his face looking a few shades paler, making him ghostly white.

You stare at him, multiple questions running through your mind. You're shocked at the sudden panic attack while also confused by his sudden seriousness as he pushed the book into your hand. Eventually, you open your eyes, having enough of the silence.

"Do you have them often?" You question as you climb back to your feet, staring down at the boy with a concerned frown. Jinyoung opened his eyes at your question, blinking a couple of times, looking sick as he met your gaze.

"S-Sometimes... It's gotten worse recently..." Jinyoung admits as he uses his hand to support some of his weight as he stands back to his feet, wobbling once before steadying himself, "I t-think I need to go rest, I feel light headed...." The boy whispered as he rubbed his face, his hand stopping to cover his eyes as he looked down.

You swallowed, a part of you wanting to continue questioning him. But seeing the state JInyoung was in, it was quite obvious the younger male wasn't faking it seeing as he was deathly pale and was sweating. He was genuinely feeling sick, you could tell without being a doctor. "That's fine, do you want me walking you back to your cabin? I can—"

"N-No!" Jinyoung gasps, his eyes wide as he flinched from your touch. The boy seemed to realize his outburst, his cheeks flushing as he looked away from you, avoiding eye contact. "I'll be fine... J-Just, please just read this book? N-Noona, you got to read it, okay?"

You're taken back at the intense look Jinyoung gives you, you not being able to help but nod in understanding. Before you can say anything else, Jinyoung pushes past you, literally scrambling out of the building, leaving you alone in silence. Your eyes moved back to the old book in your hand in wonder.

What kind of information was in this book....?

Yoongi pouts beside you, the man having a permanent scowl on his face as he sprawled on the bed, his dark orbs staring at you. You pointedly ignore him, turning the page of the book carefully, reading the words with fascination, the story it was telling quite interesting.

"He could have fucking killed you, Y/N."

You turn another page, your lips pursed while your eyebrows were furrowed, intrigued by what was happening in the pages.

"I swear he's fucking suspicious. Like why the fuck does he want you reading this book?" Yoongi continues, seeming to not care that you were ignoring him, continuing to whine. "I'm telling you, he's high up on the list of the possible killer. Especially since he's apparently an occult nerd. What the-"

Yoongi doesn't get to finish his sentence as you slam shut the book, your eyes blankly staring at the dark haired man who now returned your gaze. The two of you continue to exchange glares, neither of you looking away.

You release a large exhale from your mouth, placing the book on your lap with your eyes twitching in annoyance. Yoongi sees the slight, almost unnoticeable movement, his lips tugging up into a smirk that you want to slap away.

"I'm trying to read, Yoongi," you slowly speak, barely containing the growl as your eyes narrow on the raven-haired male who seemed to disregard your words by rolling his eyes.

"And I was trying to get it through your thick head of yours that it was stupid of you to follow Bae to an isolated place without telling anyone, without telling me," Yoongi emphasized 'me,' giving you a pointed look that made you wince. "For all we know, Bae Jinyoung could be the killer, and maybe he's planning on killing you next." Yoongi hissed, his eyes narrowing on you disappointedly.

A part of you want to tell Yoongi that Jinyoung was not the killer, but you have no proof to support your claim, and for that reason, you keep your mouth tightly closed although you just want to shout at Yoongi that he's wrong. Your gut was telling you that Jinyoung wasn't the killer. But that doesn't mean he wasn't somehow involved. There was no denying his action today was suspicious. It was as if he knew something, but the boy didn't reveal much with his nervous stutter, much to your dismay.

And you know if you tried to stand up for Jinyoung right now, you'll be only digging your own grave, Yoongi probably going to shoot down any claim viciously. You just knew he was going to go into his scolding mode where he was going to hit every little mark that'll hurt because you know he'll absolutely 100% right.

You barely have time to react as Yoongi snatches the book off your lap, carelessly flipping through the pages. You want to rip it away from his rough hands, but you don't, already fearing how it might come apart. That is, if it already hadn't with the way Yoongi was treating it.

"The Seven Deadly Sins, huh? Some religious crap, I say," Yoongi comments aloud, his eyes shifting as he read some of the words, his bottom lip getting pulled in between his teeth, nibbling on the pink flesh.

Quite frankly, you're not even sure if Yoongi was actually reading. But you're interested in what he has to say, seeing as he was acting like he was reading it. After a moment, the man looks up, an eyebrow raised as he notices your gaze on him, muttering a low, "what?"

You shrug your shoulders, fumbling with his overly large shirt you wore. "You know anything about the Seven Deadly Sins?" You question as Yoongi closed the book, tossing it back into your lap much to your dismay.

"Only the basic," Yoongi admits, his voice gruff. "I'm sure everyone knows what the seven sins are without even being religious. Too many cheesy novels and movies make it a theme."

You nod in agreement. You even knew what the seven sins were although you've been atheist your whole life. Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Greed, and Sloth.... In the book, each sin had a chapter about it, and the final chapter was for the devil himself, Lucifer, the fallen angel who became known as Satan.

With a sigh, you fall back into the fluffy pillow of your bed, the weight of your head making you sink low. Your eyes briefly shift to the small digital clock on the nightstand beside the bed, the time reading 2 o'clock in the morning already. A huff is released out of you as Yoongi let's out a loud yawn, the man stretching his arms over his head before he climbed in under the covers beside you.

"Can I turn off the light?" Yoongi questioned grumpily, rubbing his eyes as he tried to get as comfortable as possible under the thick covers.

You hummed in response, picking up your book once more, "only your side. I'm going to read a bit more. I'm like 3/4th in," you muttered, ignoring how your own eyes drooped tiredly as you read the words of the page.

"Fine by me," Yoongi grumbled, turning the light beside him off, the room now only being dimly lit by the lamp beside you, the artificial orange light making your face and pages of the book glow. It doesn't take long for you to hear the quiet snore of your lover sleeping beside you, your fingers gingerly turning another page. It's peaceful, the sound of crickets being a background melody along with Yoongi's snore, and at times the scratch of paper turning from the book is soothing.

This continued, you absorbed by the information the book provided while you sunk in the bed, your upper back and head propped up by a couple of pillows.

You lose track of time, you tiredly rubbing your eyes three hours later, finishing the seventh chapter with a tired yawn. You sit up for a moment, dazedly staring at the wall as you tried to process everything you read, the information being fascinating but also leaving you stumped. Why did Jinyoung want you to read this book? Why did he want you to learn about the seven deadly sins and what they represent and how they came to be?

Your eyes flicker to the curtain where you can see a small crack of the morning light. Holding back a shiver as your feet touch the cold wooden floor, you crossed the room silently, entering the bathroom and closing the door behind you. You hum under your breath and twist the knob of the shower to max heat.

The steam fogs up the mirror and your wipe it with your palm after you climb out of the shower, your towel wrapped around your shoulder collecting the droplets of water that dripped down your wet locks.

When you step out, you weren't expecting Yoongi to be fully dressed, looking at himself in the mirror and struggling to curl his eyelashes, much to your amusement. Your partner's shoulder-length wig was already placed on his head, the pink hair roller attaches to his fake bangs.

"Why are you awake?" You questioned, tying your hair into a messy bun on top of your head before squeezing into a baggy turtleneck sweater, it took you a moment to get your head through.

Yoongi pulled the mascara stick away from his lashes, giving you an unimpressed look as he scrunched his nose. "Do you really think I'll just let you go hang out with Bae again by yourself? No way in hell. He may look like weak ass brat, but he's damn suspicious and that makes me concern. Watch him attack you or something when you let your guard down," he scoffs, going back to applying light layers on his lashes.

You're mildly impressed Yoongi even woke up, but you don't comment, quickly applying whatever you can find on your face as you check the time worriedly.

It was almost 6 AM.

In record-breaking time, the two of you are out of the cabin, walking to the church, the sky was still fairly dark, the sun not peaking through the mountains yet.

"So, did you find out anything useful?" Yoongi questioned, his voice high because of the voice changer. You hold back a smile, finding it unusually cute seeing his grumpy pout when he looked so feminine as Min Yoonji.

You hummed in response, your expression lightening up. "Oh, did you know all the sins have an animal representing it? I found that fascinating!" You inform your partner, sharing what you learned happily.

Yoongi pauses, staring at you with a deadpan look. You return it, not thinking you said anything weird because you genuinely had thought it was a piece of fascinating information.

Yoongi released a grunt as he shook his head, a scowl present on his face as he began walking again. "I can't believe you. That's what caught your attention out of the whole book?"

You shrugged your shoulders not bothered by his words, "I haven't finished the whole book," you defend yourself with a smile, "I have one more chapter." You squint as you catch sight of a form that stands outside the church, the silhouette barely visible because of how it blended in with the shadows. Jinyoung lifts his head up as he hears your footsteps, the boy giving you a shy wave. He smiled, however, the expression drops, a look of nervousness spreading across his face as he sees Yoongi beside you.

"Good morning, Jinyoung," you greet with a soft smile, watching as the boy nodded at you, his gaze nervously darting to Yoongi who had his arms crossed over his chest as he scrutinized Jinyoung. "How are you feeling today? Hopefully better than yesterday?" You questioned in concern, your eyebrows furrowing as took in Jinyoung's face.

He does look significantly better, the color returning back to his cheeks. "I-I'm feeling better today. Thank you for your concern, Y/N-Noona."

"Y/N-Noona?" Yoongi questions out loud, one of his eyebrow raised as he looked between you and Jinyoung, his lips almost shaping into a scowl of displeasure.

Jinyoung ducks his head at the sound of Yoongi's voice, his cheeks flushing as he avoided looking at your partner's eyes, probably fearing Yoongi's death glare.

You coughed lightly, saving Jinyoung and bringing Yoongi's attention to yourself. You send the man a warning look, silently scolding him to be nice with just your eyes. Briefly, you and Yoongi share a silent conversation, the two of you exchanging glares before you turn to Jinyoung.

"Is it around time?" You questioned, looking up at the sky, seeing how it was an equal part of light blue and a chorus of gray with streaks of gold and silver of the rays of the sun. Everything was brighter, your surroundings getting more clearer.

Jinyoung nodded, rolling up his sleeve as he checked his wristwatch, holding it up for you to see that it was only a few minutes before six. The boy smiled eagerly, moving to the door, "it should be perfect timing. As soon as we open the door, the sun should be aligned with the stained glass, and the colors should be incredible!"

You nod equally eagerly as you stand beside the boy, watching as he pushed both his palm to the door, slowly opening the wooden doors.

You blink once, your eyes squinting as bright light hit your sensitive eyes, the brilliant colors of red, blue, green and yellow shining on your face. Your mouth part in awe, however, your stomach drops, your eyes widening slowly. You swallow back a lump as your eyes slowly moved lower, your mouth becoming as dry as the Sahara Desert as you began to process what was there. A hand shoots out to grab your wrist, Yoongi who was standing beside you stiffly staring ahead with you, his dark gaze hard, his lips curling into a snarl as he grits his teeth. You don't even flinch as Yoongi's fingers dig into your wrist before he let goes, realizing he was causing damage, your skin red because of how hard he squeezed.

Jinyoung releases a squeak, falling back as he crawls backward, his mouth opening and closing, no sound leaving his lips, as he pointed inside the church in horror.

"M-Mi.... M-Miss.... A-Ah... Ah.... A—"

You quickly use your arms to cover the boy's eyes, your mouth stretching into a straight line at what is laid out in front of you. The podium, which was a place where you daydreamed about a wedding just a few days ago was stained with blood, the once beautiful place looking haunting and horrifying. A body was tied to a wooden cross made out of thick branches, the head lolled forward limp, the thick layer of hair covering their face, hiding the features to your eyes.

"Fuck...."

You gulp, your eyes meeting Yoongi, your partner's eyes flaring with untamed anger as his fingers curled into a tight fist; his knuckles turning a pale white.

He eventually uncurled his fingers, the indentation of crescent moons left in his palms, his shoulder slumping down as he pulled his phone out. Yoongi released a large exhale from his lips, his face becoming stoic as he nodded at you, motioning his hand to tell you to step outside the church with Jinyoung. "I'll go call the police...." Yoongi coldly muttered, you know he was going to contact Namjoon immediately.

You nod in understanding, pushing Jinyoung who's shaking out the door. But before you step out, you turn your head, your eyes narrowed at the site of the corpse.

The fifth victim..... Right underneath your nose.

to be continued...
