~*~
"You've got to be fucking kidding me."
You struggled to keep the straight expression on your face, your arms behind your back as both you and your partner stood in front of your boss in parade rest.
You didn't move a single inch, not even having to look to know the look of disbelief was on Min Yoongi's face as he stared at Mr. Bang. The tone he used made it easy for you recognize his annoyance and that he thought the new mission the two of you were assigned was ridiculous.
You, on the other hand, struggled to keep the trained, straight expression, biting the inside of your cheek to stop the laugh from escaping your lips. Mr. Bang's eyes shifted to you, finding how you were holding in your laugh amusing, the corner of his lips twitching up as he noticed your expression wavering.
"Agent Min, I'm positive. This is not a joke. In just the past couple of months there's already been three murders that got swept under the rug at the school. We need to put an end to this before more students get killed and innocent lives are stolen."
Yoongi took a step forward, moving out of position, eager to argue his way out of what he was assigned. His eyes narrowed at the older man, shaking his head as if he was trying to deny what he was being told. "I understand that part, Mr. Bang. We need to find the killer and capture them before they cause more harm. But what I don't understand is why I have to dress up as a female?" The black haired male emphasized the word I, spitting it out quite violently.
You finally couldn't hold it in, a quick laugh escaping your lips before you could stop it. Hearing it, Yoongi whirled around, giving you an accusing glare that said, 'Don't you fucking laugh!' His lips thinning into a pale line.
"I'm sure you'll look like a beautiful female high school student, Yoongi. You can definitely rock the uniform skirt," you teased while staying in parade rest, not wanting to relax too much in front of Mr. Bang.
"I bet I can, more than you will ever."
His insult didn't even hurt a bit, you nonchalantly shrugging your shoulders in agreement. What can you say, your partner did have very slim, feminine legs that looked even better than your own.
Mr. Bang laughed, watching the two of your banter in amusement. However, the man's smile didn't stay long as he coughed, his eyes narrowing while his lips stretched to a frown, "so far, the victims have all been females, and it'll be easier for you both to go undercover this way. I'm trusting your team to carry out this mission. This mission was just identified as a first class assignment, so I expect you not to let your guards down, it could become very dangerous."
You twitched at the information, your smile disappearing from your face as you quickly straighten your back, getting serious.
Your partner has a similar reaction, the scowl suddenly disappearing from his face. His nonchalant attitude was gone as if it never existed in the first place; his body stiffened as he returned to his position next to you, stone-faced.
A first-class mission wasn't something to joke about. It was something never given to any rookie groups, only the most trained Agents assigned to them, carefully picked by the higher-ups after many different considerations taken. They were dangerous and unpredictable; often times they were crimes that were never released to the public, only known by the few selected people. And it wasn't unusual for agents to lose their life if they let their guard down.
But you, as well as everyone in the agency who were higher ups and Mr. Bang knew that your team wasn't rookies or any regular agent group. Each of you was personally selected by Mr. Bang himself, undergoing harsh training that polished you all to the absolute best.
Each of you graduated training at the top of the class before getting gathered to create the ultimate team, Bangtan as other agents called you. Out of the whole agency, Bangtan has the highest success rate of missions in the work field in the past three years, being invited to do various types, often even directly receiving them from the government.
"It hasn't even been a full day since we've come back to the base and we're getting shipped off already," Yoongi grumbled out a complaint, obviously not happy about this mission.
He wasn't lying. Merely three hours ago, you and the team had flown back from Italy after the two-week long mission to take down a growing mafia group. It was tedious and quite annoying, but Hoseok and Jungkook did a fantastic job of cleaning it up with only a bit of your and Yoongi's help.
Mr. Bang sends you both an apologetic smile, "I'll make sure to book all eight of you a nice beach house after this mess comes to an end. I promise even to get you all the week off."
At his words, both you and Yoongi's eyes lit up at the prospect of having a vacation after all these months of not receiving one. You were certain the other boys will agree as well.
"I'll be sending the file to Agent RM. He, like always will be the leader for the mission, and he'll be giving me daily updates on your findings. He will fill in the mission for you. Good luck, Agent Y/L/N and Agent Min, I wish for the success of this mission and your safety," your boss gave you both a pleasant smile before dismissing you.
Your shoulders finally relaxed after stepping out of the room. You couldn't help the grin as Yoongi pouted, walking down the hallways with his feet getting dragged.
"Aw, come on, Yoongi. It'll be fine, It can't be that bad," you cooed, hooking your arm with the man who was your partner in missions as well as your romantic relationship.
The man ignores your words of positivity; a permanent scowl etched on his face as he stomped into the room that was assigned to your group.
"I'm going to be forced to wear a damn skirt for who knows how damn long. Of course, I'm pissed," the man hissed, plopping down onto the couch, stretching out his legs. "I was so damn ready to take a day-long nap as soon as we came back."
You placed your hand on your hips in amusement, looking down at the raven-haired male who had already closed his eyes. However, before you could walk away with a shake of your head, his hand latched onto your wrist. With your training, you could have effortlessly thrown his grip off of you, but you allowed Yoongi to pull you down onto him, laying you beside him.
"Just take a small nap with me before everyone else gets notified about the mission," Yoongi groggily whispered as he buried his face into the crook of your neck, his legs wrapping around you in koala style.
Your cheeks began to feel warm, heat gathering in them as Yoongi's hand slyly moved down your waist, playing with the hem of your shirt. His fingers snuck under the cloth, gently drawing patterns on the bare skin.
"Yoongi... Not here!" You hissed in embarrassment, trying to swat his groping fingers away. He only released a small whine in response, not moving away from you.
"Yes! Not right here for God's sake, I've already notified everyone about our new mission. If you don't want everyone witnessing this, get the hell off of each other!" Namjoon, who you had not noticed when you first entered the room groaned, sending both of you a judging stare as he waved around the file he had in hand. His cheeks were stained a light pink, going through second hand embarrassed as he witnesses the position Yoongi and you were in.
You quickly sat back up, sending a glare at Yoongi for placing you in an embarrassing situation. The man didn't even look bothered, sending his own glare at Namjoon, annoyed that the brains, as well as the leader of the team, interrupted him.
Namjoon sighed tiredly as he pushed his glasses higher onto his nose. You didn't blame him, the last mission was quite a handful and now he was once again assigned to a new one that was going to be equally if not more complicated.
Namjoon may have been a genius, but even his brain had its limits, and you couldn't help but feel pity that the man was constantly put to work.
Your leader released another sigh before straightening his back, his eyes quickly becoming serious as he went to work mode. "Come to my office you two. We need to discuss the personas you're being assigned."
You held back your laugh as Yoongi grunted, his face changing into a distasteful scowl.
Yoongi may hate that he's going to be forced to dress as a female but, well, you knew you were going to get a good laugh out of seeing him in a skirt.
~*~
Your lips trembled as you tidied up the covers of your bed, making sure to not meet eyes with your partner who was angrily stomping through the room.
After you were finally satisfied with how your bed looked, you moved to face Yoongi who had a permanent grimace on his face. However, even with his forehead wrinkling and his mouth tugged down into a frown, he looked attractive, especially with the shoulder length black wig he had on.
You opened your mouth to speak, your orbs filling with amusement. However, before you can even say a word, a pillow was thrown into your face, cutting you off.
"Don't you dare say a fucking word, sweetheart. I'm not in a good mood," Yoongi growled, his voice dangerously low in warning. His eyes glinted with a hidden promise that made an excited shiver run down your back, your pulse quickening.
There was no denying that Yoongi was the dominant one in the relationship the two of you shared. However, that didn't mean that you didn't like to spice it up and sometimes challenge Yoongi by acting bratty.
"But you look so pretty Yoonji! My roommate is the prettiest girl at school!" You cooed, your lips stretching into a lazy smile as you saw Yoongi twitch at your words.
You had to admit, like he had assumed when the two of you were assigned to the mission, he was indeed rocking the school uniform as Min Yoonji. His skin that was already pale from the beginning looked flawless with the makeup you helped with him; his lips tinted a light pink (something you had to wrestle him down to apply) giving him a girly look that looked equally as beautiful as yours, if not more.
You couldn't help but love provoking Yoongi. Especially when well, sex with angry Yoongi was always mind-blowing, and you could never get enough of it.
"Don't press my buttons, kitten," Yoongi's eyes narrowed as he took a step forward you. He might have looked intimidating if he was his usual self but the cute school uniform he wore didn't help, especially with his lips tinted a pretty shade of pink that belonged to you.
You tried. You swear you tried, but you couldn't hold in the spurt of laughter. He just looked too funny! It was so different from how he looked from his usual badass self; it was impossible to even look at him without smiling.
Yoongi looked furious, his pale cheeks flushing with embarrassment as you covered your mouth with your hand, trying to stop the sounds from escaping. He crossed his arm, bemused as you tried to calm your breathing down.
"Are you done?"
You swallowed, suddenly becoming aware of how close he had come. His face was inches away from you, his eyes glinting with promises that made you nervous.
"You think you can laugh at me like that and get away?" Yoongi chuckled although his tone had no form of amusement laced with it. He stalked towards you as if he was a panther that had its eyes narrowed on its prey, each of his steps silent but so calculating.
It felt like your mouth was suddenly filled with cotton balls, all the moisture getting sucked up until it was like a hot summer in the Sahara desert.
You became hyper-aware as Yoongi hand snaked up your thighs, his fingers slowly hiking up your uniform skirt while his lips lazily grazed your neck before he left wet, open mouth kisses on your jaw. As he nibbles on the soft skin, you can feel the goosebumps spread through your body, every touch making you sensitive.
However, as Yoongi's lips grazed over yours, you suddenly remembered the words Namjoon had whispered to you before you had left the base that morning.
"We've installed cameras in your room for your safety. And just a warning, it seems like the walls are extremely thin in the dorms."
The air knocked out of Yoongi's lungs as he was pushed back, lightly stumbling at your strength. His eyes narrowed in confusion, not used to having you reject his advances, especially after the two of you became an official couple.
Your cheeks felt warm as you blushed, your eyes narrowed in determination as you faced your confused boyfriend.
"Yoongi! I've decided! No sex until the mission comes to an end!"
Yoongi's immediate answer was a, "What?!" That was spat out in alarm, his eyes widening in disbelief, his mouth falling open.
You nod, crossing your arm over your chest, trying to show how serious you were to Yoongi. "From today onwards, you are Min Yoonji, an eighteen-year-old female senior. I'm Kim Y/N, an eighteen-year-old senior who is your roommate. We are roommates and friends, nothing more and nothing less. And we for sure are not in a relationship!" You proudly state your name for this mission, quickly engaging yourself in the role Namjoon gave you.
A perfect, 4.0 student with almost no flaws. Your makeup was already done flawlessly, yet natural enough to be passed as none, highlighting your features as a "high school senior" while in reality, you were a twenty-three year old woman who has graduated colleges years ago. You were prepared to enter your mission and complete it.
Yoongi, on the other hand, was frozen where he stood, his mind trying to process the words you just told him. The mission has already flown over his head as the words repeated through his mind.
No sex....
No sex....
No sex......
No sex for god knows how long!!!
~*~
You had a pleasant smile on your face as you stood in front of the class, your back straight in a perfect posture. Yoongi, on the other hand, was the opposite of you, his shoulder slumped, his lips forming into a dejected pout.
He had argued with you for a solid ten minutes, trying to make you take back what you had told him. However, you would not budge, your eyes shifting to the hidden camera at the corner of your room nervously.
And Yoongi knew how serious you were because you always put your 100% effort when it came to missions. It was why your success rate was so high to begin with. You had the skill to perfectly follow the role you were assigned, making the persona your own flawlessly.
He also knew how stubborn you were and how you usually never back out of a plan once you decided on it.
"Hello, my name is Kim Y/N. Although I'm transferring at such an awkward time, I hope I'll get along with you all. My strongest subject is math, and my favorite animal is a cat," you placed a charming smile on your face as you did a quick introduction in front of the class.
You could see all of the curious gazes you were receiving as most of the children in the room clapped. You couldn't help but slightly feel the age difference as you realized how much older you are compared to them. You had finished your academic study years ago while they were all still in it, not even beginning college. You may have been twenty-three but the last time you were in a high school classroom was over six years ago when you were seventeen. And that was around how old each of the students was in the room. Seventeen or eighteen, still babies in your eyes.
Your eyes shifted to Yoongi in concern as you realized he hadn't spoken up for his introduction. Even your homeroom teacher didn't seem like he knew what to say to make the grumpy "female" speak.
With a sigh, you speak once again. "And this is Min Yoonji; we were assigned as roommates."
Yoongi scowled before finally acknowledging the class with a curt nod, "Min Yoonji. I like basketball," his voice which was usually rougher and deeper sounded soft and feminine because of the instant voice changer he had around his neck hidden as a necklace. Hearing his own voice, Yoongi's face scrunched up in distaste, not liking how he sounded himself. To the class, it looked like the female scowled in annoyance because she had to introduce herself, immediately showing off her icy demeanor.
You only smiled hesitantly, knowing Yoongi wasn't going to add more to his introduction; especially since he was already in a bad mood. It was already a miracle itself that you were able to drag him to come to class.
"You two are welcome to sit in the back. Neither of your eyes sights are bad, are they? But if they are, I'm sure there are some students more than willing to exchange seats with you." You saw the eyes of many student's eyes lit up in the aspect of being moved to the back of the class, some of them even nodding to what the homeroom teacher offered.
However, it was quick to disappear into disappointment as Yoongi took your hand, dragging you to the back as he muttered, "that's not necessary."
Your mouth twitched as you walked down the aisle, smiling at your classmates that you pass in greeting before moving your eyes to the back of Yoongi's head. This may get complicated because of him...
~*~
You can't help the sigh of boredom as the lecture ends, your paper in front of you empty from notes of the class. After the first five minutes of listening to the teacher, you quickly realized they were doing basic calculus, something that naturally came to you like counting from one to five and you didn't bother even picking up your pen.
To your right, Yoongi, had his head down, his shoulders slowly moving up and down as he slept soundly. As soon as the two of you sat down, he had placed his head down, deciding to take a nap, not even caring as your classmates eyed him in surprise.
You didn't bother shaking him awake, knowing the male didn't even need to listen to the lecture because he, like yourself was called genius Min Yoongi for a reason.
"Y/N, how was the lecture? It might be a bit hard when you just transferred."
You looked up in surprise as you heard your name, your eyes meeting a smiling boy with glasses. His hair was dyed a light brown which covered his forehead and eyebrows, and although his eyeglasses were quite big, it made him look rather handsome.
You're quick to flash him a smile before shaking your head, "Actually, I'm quite fine. I've already had this lesson before, so I'm caught up," you explained before cocking your head to the side, "Um, I'm—"
"Kim Y/N. Yes, I know, you did introduce yourself at the beginning of the class. I'm Ha Sungwoon, the class president. So if you have any questions or troubles through the rest of the school year, come to me, I'll happily assist you if I can," the man's eyes shifted to Yoongi before chuckling, "that goes for your friend as well. Although it seems like she's having a good nap."
"It's only the first day and I'm already getting picked on."
Both you and Sungwoon were slightly taken back as Yoongi lifted his head up, sending a glare at the man in front of you.
You held in a laugh as a look of panic entered Sungwoon's eyes as he spluttered, not knowing how to respond.
"T-That wasn't what I—"
"Aw, are you already pestering the new girls, Sungwoonie?"
Yoongi's shoulder stiffened as an arm suddenly draped over his shoulder. His eyes shot daggers at the boy who casually leans into him, a cheeky smile on the unknown boy's face.
"Get your fucking arm off of me," Yoongi snaps, quickly shrugging the arm off of him as he stepped closer to where you sat. With a huff, Yoongi flips his hair before crossing his arm over his chest, glaring daggers at the newcomer.
Your eyes shifted to Yoongi worriedly, thinking he might lash out because of his bad mood before moving to look at the new boy who only grinned with his hands thrown back behind his head.
"Daniel, that wasn't very polite," Sungwoon warns as he pushed his glasses higher up onto his nose, sending the smiling boy a pointed look.
The boy, Daniel only shrugs his shoulders, seeming to brush Sungwoon's words to the side with his movement, "Don't be such an uptight jerk, Sungwoonie. You gotta relax a bit, especially since we're in the presence of beautiful ladies such as these two." Daniel's eyes shifted to you as he sent you a wink.
You're tempted to roll your eyes at his words, but you stop yourself, only letting a small chuckle leave your mouth. Daniel seemed to like your reaction, his smile widening, making his eyes narrow to crescent moons that reminded you of how Jimin's eyes turned when he smiled.
"It's a pleasure having you two ladies join our humble class. I'm Kang Daniel, if you ever want to have fun, I'm the guy to be around," the boy introduced himself, doing a small exaggerated bow that made Yoongi snort. You, on the other hand, took this chance to quickly look over this male, doing a rapid evaluation on him for future reference.
He was quite tall, towering over you as you sat at your desk. You could tell that he was around Jungkook's height, if not a bit taller. His shoulder was broad and quite muscular which made you quick to conclude that he either worked out or was an athlete.
Sungwoon's cough made you look away from Daniel, the class president successfully bringing your attention back to himself. He replaced his scowl with a smile as soon as he saw that he succeeded in his attempt. However, you could tell his shoulders were still tense. "Please excuse this idiot. Ignore whatever he says, he only brings trouble and screaming girls with his presence," the man shook his head in distaste, giving Daniel a stink eye that made the said man laugh.
"Aw, why you gotta be so mean to me? Aren't I your childhood friend, Sungwoon? You've been so cold lately," Daniel whined with a pout as he slung his arm over Sungwoon's shoulder. At the action, the poor man stumbled, his hands landing on your table to stable himself.
"I—Let me go!" As Sungwoon became flustered over the contact with Daniel hanging over him, your eyes shifted to Yoongi who's eyebrow twitched in irritation, obviously wanting to get away from there.
Seeing that he was almost about to snap at the two males, you stood up, hooking your arm with Yoongi. "Yoonji, let's go to the restroom before our next class," you smiled gently, hugging his arm close to your chest.
At your action, Yoongi looks at you in confusion before nodding, his eyes sending one last glare to the boys. Poor Sungwoon was in a headlock made by Daniel, shouting in anger as the larger boy only applies more pressure.
They don't even seem to realize that the two of you were slipping out of the room. However, just as you were about to walk out, your eyes meet two girls who stare at you from the middle of the classroom, their eyes narrowed on your forms. You pause, your feet anchoring down as you return their look, your head cocked to the side as interest started bubbling.
"Keep walking, Y/N," Yoongi hissed, his hand unhooking your arm before taking your hand into his own to tug you forward. He returns their look with a piercing glare. His eyes narrowed on the two females who stared at the both of you before finally pulling you through the door, dragging you down the crowded hallways. However, just before you were tugged through the door, you had flashed the females an unaffected smile and a nod which made them both scowl at, much to your amusement.
As soon as you are in the hallway, you picked up your pace, so you walked beside Yoongi, the man grumbling under his breath.
"I hate this already," he hissed, his hand squeezing yours. You couldn't help but feel weird hearing your boyfriend's words sound so much higher than what it is initially. However, you can notice his Daegu dialect coming out because of his irritation, your face softening in fondness as you got to see one of his quirks.
You squeeze his hand before letting go, walking beside him, shoulders barely touching, "Sh, Yoonji. You'll get used to it soon and the faster we work, the faster we get to go home," your words were barely above a whisper. The man only grunts in response, his hand running through his hair that was styled in a bob.
You chuckle, finding how he was sulking was quite adorable. His painted lips puffing up into a pout made you tempted to lean forward and place a quick kiss on them. However, you knew that it was impossible, especially when the hallways were filled with other students who eyed the two of you curiously.
SM Academy was a small, however, a well-known school where the wealthy and the academically gifted were gathered. Each grade had less than fifty students, making the school population around two hundred, including the teachers. So you knew the information of you and Yoongi transferring into the graduating senior class would spread like wildfire through the school.
"If I were you, I would look into the two bitches who were trying to bury us six feet under in the classroom with their glares," Yoongi mumbled without even looking at you, his hands getting pushed into his cardigans pockets.
You raised an eyebrow at his words, the corner of your lips tugging up to a smile, "Oh, I should do it? Why don't you Yoongi? I've already memorized the names of our whole class," you felt smug thinking you were a couple of steps ahead of him.
However, when Yoongi flashed you a smirk, your smile fell, knowing what his look meant even without him having to say anything. It was your turn to pout. But at least this was the proof that Min Yoongi was a genius who actually got his work done.
"Kang Seulgi and Park Chaeyoung who's also known as Rose from her English name Roseanne," you sigh as you reached the restroom door, opening it for the both of you.
Yoongi snorted before the corner of his lips twitched in amusement, "A.K.A queen bee and her loyal subordinate that's going to make our lives a 'living hell' with the way they were glaring at us. They already hate us from what I can see."
You couldn't help but giggle at his comment, knowing exactly what he meant. You could already feel the malicious glare they were sending you during the class and you were quite positive that what Yoongi was saying was right. Seulgi and Rose will probably be going to try making your life quite hard but eh.
You were Y/L/N Y/N and your partner was badass Min Yoongi. Not many things fazed you in the past. Not when you were deactivating a bomb that was about to blow in less than a minute and not even when you had a gun pointed at your head. You didn't expect much from two measly high school females who were trying to protect their spot as top in the school.
They were only a small hill you had to climb over for this mission.
~*~
"Although I do admit it's quite strange to have two seniors join our school during this time of year, I welcome you to our school, SM Academy." The principal, a balding man in his fifties, greeted you with a bright smile, "But I'm also relieved because I know that the two of you will be helping each other out to get accustomed to our school! I'm sure that's what you already did for today."
You and Yoongi were pulled out of your last class to meet the Principal who wanted to greet the two of you personally. Yoongi was reluctant, only coming with you after you threatened to lock him out of your shared room while you delete all of his music on his computer if he didn't follow you out.
You returned the man's enthusiastic welcome with a bow, placing your own million watt smile on your face, "I have to apologize for my sudden transfer. Our family wasn't expecting my father's business to be moved to this town suddenly and honestly, SM Academy was the only school with amazing programs."
Although you had a smile plastered on your face, you were quite annoyed at the man before you. This man was the reason why the three deaths that occurred at school had been pushed under the rug. As the principal, he couldn't risk the school's squeaky clean image with the deaths of students. And it fucking pissed you off that this man thought the deaths of three children was worth less than an reputation that the school was trying to upkeep.
And looking into the file Namjoon had given you; you were quite sure the Principal was hiding more than one illegal thing and you were eager to dig it up during this mission.
"No, it's our pleasure. I've personally looked at your files and my, you ladies have achieved so much already. Ms. Y/L/N Y/N you were going to be the valedictorian at your former school and Ms. Min Yoonji, you were academically advanced as well and in basketball," the man in front of you giddily exclaimed, his cheeks flushing a bright red as he spoke in quick words.
Your lips twitched at the term valedictorian; it just happened to the same title you had received when you did graduate high school years ago as well. Your eyes shifted to Yoongi beside you, your lips curling up in amusement. The man himself looked disinterested in the conversation, lazily playing with his black strands of hair that was styled into a neat bob which was a wig that Namjoon had prepared.
He had spent the whole day with his head down, not bothering to listen to the lecture. However, when he was called out by the teacher to do a chemistry problem on the board, he had begrudgingly dragged himself up and snatched the chalk out of the smug female Chemistry Teacher's hand. The class snickered, thinking 'Min Yoonji' wouldn't know how to solve the conversion question because she had slept through the whole class.
You, on the other hand, shook your head and leaned back into your chair with your mouth curled into a lazy smile. You watched in amusement as the Chemistry Teacher's smug look slowly morphed to disbelief. Yoongi answered the question in three different ways before pushing the chalk into the woman's hand with a yawn, moving back to his seat beside you with, "the way you taught it can be a bit difficult to understand for people who learned it the first time. I recommend the third solution because there are fewer steps to take and it makes it quicker to solve. But they all should work."
And with that, he placed his head back down, going back to his nap as the class stared at the new transfer student in awe.
That was probably the only significant occurrence that happened that day. There were minor one such as a pop quiz that you and Yoongi had passed with a full score, being the only two in the class earning quite a lot of attention, especially since neither of you had taken the said teacher's class. You would have been concerned if you hadn't, seeing as you took the course years ago.
You bowed, lightly nudging Yoongi to do the same as you exited out of the Principal's office. Neither of you spoke as you walked down the empty hallways, the last class of the day already ending, most students returning to their room for a bit before dinner.
When the door of your shared room was closed behind you, Yoongi wrapped his hand around your wrist, pulling your body back to his until your back pressed flat onto his front. With a light grunt, he dropped down onto your bed, dragging you onto his lap as his arm wrapped around your waist. Yoongi was quick to bury his face in the crook of your neck, his lips littering open mouth kisses onto your soft skin, making a pleasant shiver run down your back.
With a weak protest, you allow Yoongi to place his hot lips onto your, the man eagerly opening your mouth with a smooth tongue that made you head fuzz up.
Your hands slowly move up his chest, your arm moving to wrap around his neck. However, you freeze, your eyes that had subconsciously closed when your lips first overlapped snapped open as you felt the wig on Yoongi.
You sigh, giving one last apologetic kiss before pulling away, Yoongi groaning as he realized you weren't going to continue. However, he was smart in enough to not push for more, knowing you would only scold him, running his ear off about how important the mission is.
With a tight-lipped smile, you stood up from Yoongi's lap, moving to your bed that was on the right side of the room. For a minute, you dig through your locked suitcase looking for the highly classified files given to you for this mission. When you do find the paperwork, you place on your specially made glasses, you index finger pressing into the frame.
The small glasses created by Taehyung whirled to life as it picked up your fingerprint identification while scanning your iris, the spectacles immediately processing the words hidden from the visible eye on the file in your hands.
"All the victims are female students huh?" You comment, looking at the picture of the three girls who had become victim to this serial killer. Yoongi sat up from where he laid; his eyes were quickly becoming solemn as he too placed his own glasses on, climbing onto your bed to look at the file in your hand.
Kim Yerim, a sophomore female. She was found in the courtyard near the north end of campus, right outside the thick forest that surrounded the school. Her body was found nearly flawless, the coroner identifying the only wound on her body as a bite wound that looked like one of a snake.
After autopsy and lab work, they were able to identify that her bloodstream had poison from a snake that was what caused her heart to stop working from shock. The case would have been closed as an accident if it was a type of poison found in the snakes native to the area. However, the toxin was identified to come from a black mamba snake, a snake that only inhibited in southern and eastern Africa, an entirely different continent.
And poor Yerim's case was pushed to the side as an unsolved death until the second body was found, making the police force to hold their head together in confusion.
The second victim was a junior known as Lalisa Manoban, an international student from Thailand, her body found in the school garden surrounded by dew covered flowers. Her body was in a perfect state as well, almost as if she was taking a nap in a bed of flowers. However, the coroner had noted that her clothes were damp, which allowed him to know that she had died during the night, before the dew of the morning set in. It seemed like the flowers attracted unwanted guests as well, the poor girl's body getting covered with garden snails that came to have free dinner at the garden. To this moment, the cause of her death was still going through an investigation, almost getting closed as a suicide until the final victim emerged.
The last death was when Bighit was finally called to investigate this case. It had become clear that the two deaths were not mere accidents and suicides when students who came in for morning class found the third body. Another international sophomore student, Chou Tzuyu's body was found sprawled on the floor of the art room. I'll send you more information if I get any.
-Seokjin
Your eyes ran over the text with concentration, reading the detailed notes written by your coroner, Kim Seokjin, one of your major teammates in Bangtan.
"That's disturbing," Yoongi, who was also reading the paper grunted, his nose scrunching up in disgust as eyed the multiple pictures that were included in the file. You, too, looked at what he eyed, your eyebrows raising up in alarm as you carefully examined the photos taken by Jin.
You swallowed once before facing Yoongi, waving the papers in your hand. "It says they thought the flowers painted on the floor was some form of red paint from the art room. But the lab results came back as pig's blood," you note. You look back at the photo, your heartstrings getting pulled as you realized how young she really was. The teenager, one that you could immediately tell was quite beautiful was sprawled on the floor as if she was posing for a photo shoot.
Everything about her looked flawless, one of her hand placed near her face while the other laid on her chest holding one lonely stalk of a red spider lily. Your eyes hardened, knowing that the red spider lily was also known as a higanbana, a flower associated with death in some countries like Japan.
"They look as if they're just sleeping doesn't it?" You whispered, your eyes moving to the other pictures taken.
Yoongi stayed silent, tiredly running a hand over his face. He watched as your face slowly hardened, your eyes filling with anger which made him feel uneasy.
He finally spoke up as he leaned into you, his head lolling to the side as it laid on your own. "I recognize that look you have Y/N. Don't, I'm begging you, don't do anything irrational and dive head first into things without thinking," Yoongi partially begged, his eyes filling with concern, knowing you had a habit of doing reckless things when your emotions got involved.
You didn't reply with words, only giving him a curt nod. Yoongi, who saw this sighed, knowing you'll probably forget about the promise as soon as something drastic happens. It wasn't really preventable; it was a characteristic that made you, well, you.
Yoongi shifted to get a better look at the pictures; his eyebrows furrowed as he took in the small details of each of them. "Jesus, whoever killed these girls really is a sick bastard," he grumbled, shaking his head in disgust.'
You nodded in agreement, your lips curling in absolute revolt. Whoever this killer was, he was fucking psycho. At first glance, all the female's look as if they were sleeping. And that was what made chills run down your back. It was as if they were sleeping not dead, everything about them left perfect. It made the killer's motive even more unclear to you.
If there were evidence of physical assaults left on the body, you would be able to rule that the killer's motive was for rape; sexual assault. However, all three autopsy came back with the bodies being nearly resistance-free, not a single bruise or injury being found that seemed unusual. You nor could Namjoon understand why the killer was murdering these girls.
And what made you shake with anger was these girls were placed where they were as if they were a piece of artwork that was to be marveled by the human eye. Each of the body was set as if they were posing for a camera shoot, their face soft and angelic even though they were murdered. It made you feel as if the murderer was painting their death as a work of art piece, a deadly artwork he achieved by heartlessly killing them when they could have had a bright future ahead.
With a sigh, you turn off your glasses, carefully placing them back in their case before returning the file to the proper place where no one will find it. Deep in thought, your hand subconsciously runs through your strands of hair, wrinkles gathering at the small space between your eyebrows. A habit you had when you got frustrated.
"Come on Y/N, let's get dinner," Yoongi nudged you, his expression softening as he saw the conflict in your eyes. His larger hands gently took yours as he pulled you up from the bed, lifting you up onto your feet with ease.
~*~
Dinner is quite interesting. As soon as you and Yoongi step in, it feels as if most students were keeping an eye on the two of you while they talked with friends. Even as you stood in line, making a friendly conversation with a sweet woman who was one of the serving ladies, you could feel many heated stares pointed at the back of your head.
After getting your food, you stood still, looking around for a place to sit. However, before you could decide, Yoongi nudged you with his feet, using his chin to point to a table that was nearly empty, only one, lone boy sitting there while reading and poking at his food.
You casually walked to the table, Yoongi trailing after you while licking his lips, eyeing the plate of food in this hands, eager to dig in.
You coughed once, announcing your presence, "Excuse me, are these seats empty?" The boy who sat alone jumped in fright, the book he had in his hand getting slammed closed, his eyes widening in shock as you smiled down at him, pointing to the seats that were open.
He was a pale, quite skinny boy with dark hair that covered his forehead. He seemed to hesitate as you continued to smile at him friendly. After a moment he timidly nodded, moving his stuff to create space for both of you to sit. But before you can even thank him, Yoongi plopped into one of the seats, silently moving to push food into his mouth.
You shook your head in disapproval at Yoongi before sitting down as well, eyeing the unknown boy curiously as he fidgeted in his seat. The boy had his fist clenched, his head permanently looking down at his lap. Watching him, your expression softened, suddenly feeling pity for him because you placed him in this situation he obviously wanted nothing to do with.
"I'm Kim Y/N and this is Min Yoonji, we just transferred here today," your voice is soft as you introduce yourself, leaning forward to stick your hand out for a handshake. The boy stares at it for a second before finally seeming to realize you were actually waiting for him to take the hand. He hastily grabbed yours, you barely being able to stop yourself from flinching at how cold he felt before the boy gave it a weak shake.
"I know... My classmates have been talking about you two... It's nice to meet you Noona, I'm Bae Jinyoung, a sophomore," the boy's voice wavered for a second, looking down at his hand as he avoided looking into your eyes once again.
For a second the conversation ceased, Jinyoung avoided looking at either of you as he stared down at his hand. Your eyes shifted to Yoongi, who nonchalantly continued to eat, not paying attention to his surroundings. However, you knew your partner was tuning in to the table beside yours, listening to the group of girls speaking in hushed tones as he tilted his body in a way that didn't seem suspicious to anyone unless they were trained.
"Next time, you shouldn't sit with me..."
Your eyebrows raised up in confusion, your attention moving back to Jinyoung who was now playing with his hands. The boy shifted in his seat, swallowing nervously as he looked up, his bangs nearly covering his eyes. His brown orbs that were quite round darted nervously around the room before landing on your face.
"You two shouldn't be around me... You'll get associated with me..." He lowly muttered, his lips shifting into a frown that made him look much younger.
"Why are you-"
"People don't like me, calling me an occult nerd... You're new so you may not know it but there's a clear hierarchy at this school and it's extremely important. I'm low, like really really low in that ladder. Nothing good will come out of it if they see you with me," Jinyoung finally moved his eyes away from you, looking down at the thick book in front of him.
It looked like an old textbook that went through many things throughout the years. The cover was probably once a bright red, but it seemed to have faded out over the years, the pages yellow and run down with age and damage. However what drew you in was the title that was written in ancient text, the black calligraphy barely faded away and would have been quite beautiful if only the words weren't...
"Devil's Grimoire, huh? Interesting thing you have there," you were slightly taken back as Yoongi finally spoke. Jinyoung also seemed surprised, his mouth falling open as he stared at Yoongi.
"Y-You could read it?" Jinyoung questioned in alarm, stuttering as his hands shook.
Your partner waved his fork around in the air while he had his elbow propped up on the table, his chin placed in his palm. His eyes were narrowed on Jinyoung's form, only making the boy shrink even more under the intimidating females' gaze, "I took a bit of Latin in my previous classes."
You roll your eyes at Yoongi's intimidation, sending a quick kick underneath the table at his leg, making the said male flinch in pain and send you a stink eye. You move to kick him once more as he opens his mouth. However, before either of you could, a large body plopped down beside Jinyoung.
"Oh, look at you! Little devil's lover, you grew some balls and you're basking in the new ladies' attention, eh?" Daniel grinned, his lips stretching a bit meanly as he nudged Jinyoung roughly, making the poor boy shrink.
Your eyebrows furrowed, moving to stop the boy from bothering Jinyoung. But before you could say anything, Jinyoung stiffly stood up, pushing Daniel's arm off of him and snatching his book into his arm as he scrambled away, leaving all his food on the table. You watched his figure disappear in alarm, sending an accusing look at Kang Daniel.
With the boy gone, Daniel flashed both you and Yoongi a grin, his eyes narrowing to crescent moons that you may begin to despise. Although you have to admit, you'll never hate them on Jimin, the little squish being one of your favorite teammates in Bangtan. Being around a shameless flirt like Daniel, you started to wish you were back in the base where you could demand cuddles from either Jimin or Taehyung, the younger boys so innocent and sweet, little brothers in your eyes. Although Yoongi did get jealous at times, he knew the younger boys were quite innocent when it came to you, never ever doing anything that may trigger the sleeping beast in Yoongi that'll wreak havoc.
"That was mean," you comment, narrowing your eyes on Daniel who only shrugged his shoulders, seeming to not care about what he did.
"I did you two ladies, a favor. You don't want to be associated with a weird kid like him," the boy commented as he moved closer to Yoongi, your partner's nose scrunching up in distaste as he shifted towards you, his body pressing into your side. The corner of Daniel's lip tugged up into a smirk as he didn't back down, moving even closer to Yoongi who had his lips curled into a snarl of disgust.
You, on the other hand bristled at his nonchalant attitude, pointing your finger at Daniel's face, the said male not expecting your action as you began your rant. "Well, that should be a decision made by Yoonji and I. The poor boy was quite nice until you came and scared him away. And regardless of what he likes, you have no right to judge him. You should be quite ashamed of yourself, picking on someone younger than you. You are the older one, you are supposed to be looking after the younger ones, making yourself a role model for them instead of chasing after skirts as if you're a dog in heat," you scolded, Daniel looking quite surprised, his eyes widening as his mouth gaped open.
However, seconds later, the boy bursts out laughing, his head thrown back as tears gathering in his eyes. You watched him in bewilderment, your eyes darting to Yoongi before returning to Daniel who was shaking, wiping tears out of his eyes. The boy let couple of chuckles escape his lips before he leaned on the table, his eyes boring into your face. His eyes were filled with mischief, his lips stretching to a cocky smirk that made you want to roll your eyes.
"I've never been called a dog before," he commented, his voice becoming sugary sweet. His eyes flickered to Yoongi beside you before staring right into your eyes, a teasing look appearing on his face. "But if you want, I'll be a dog just for you, Y/N. You're intriguing me very much you see, acting like such a good girl. But you see, good girls are usually the ones that are the ones who are hiding the nasty secrets... I want to see that nasty side of y-"
"That's enough, Daniel. Stop being such a douche. And she's quite right. You didn't even let the poor boy finish his meal."
You snapped out of your disbelief, looking up in surprise to see Sungwoon standing beside you with his own tray of food in his hand. When he noticed your look, he flashed you a gentle smile, placing his plate beside you as he took a seat.
Yoongi, who sat beside you eyed the two boys warily, his mouth stretching into a frown at their presence beside the two of you. However, he didn't pay attention to him for long because he went back to glaring holes into Danel, secretly planning the different ways he'll be able to murder the teenage boy without getting caught. Who the fuck did he think he was? He wasn't even considered an adult for god sake, if he even thought he had a chance with you...
"How was your first day, Y/N? I hope everything ran smoothly for you. Did you like it so far?" Sungwoon questioned you, sending you a bright smile, his pearly white teeth reflecting the lights of the room.
Before you can answer, Yoongi speaks up, "That's none of your business. And when did we give you two permission to sit with us?" Yoongi harshly questioned, his eyes narrowed on the two males, making it quite apparent that he disliked them already. He just wanted them to leave, that way he could concentrate on the conversation round the dinning hall and gather information.
Sungwoon seemed to be taken back by Yoongi's harsh words, his eyes widening a fraction. However, Daniel had the opposite reaction, moving closer to your partner, looking amused as Yoongi snapped at him.
"Come on ice princess, loosen up a bit. Our company is nice," Daniel's hand slowly drifted to be placed on Yoongi's shoulder. But just as he made contact with your partner's coat, Daniel froze as he felt a sharp object get pressed into his hand.
"Let me go before I cut off your grubby fingers, so you'll never touch me again," you held back a laugh as Yoongi sent an angelic smile to Daniel while holding the knife he had in his hand. Daniel obviously wanted to keep all of his digits, slowly shifting away from Yoongi with a weak laugh, somewhat appalled by Yoongi's violent promise.
When Daniel was finally away from him, Yoongi released a huff, flipping his hair over his shoulder as he rolled his eyes. You would have laughed out loud at his exaggerated way to show his feminine side, but you held it back as you turned to face Sungwoon who was watching the interaction with Yoongi and Daniel in interest.
"Yoonji, they can sit here, right? It's good to get to know our classmates," you sweetly say, cocking your head at a slight angle as you peered up at Sungwoon's face. The said boy blushed, his eyes darting to your face for a quick second before looking at Yoongi who had his eyes narrowed on your form.
Yoongi's nose scrunched, hating how you said Yoonji instead of Yoongi. However he quickly hid it as his eyes moved to the two males who eyed him curiously. He didn't want them sitting at their table for personal reasons. It was quite obvious, but the professional agent in him knew that their presence may bring in good info to mind the murder at the school.
He finally released a "Fine," as he stabbed his food. However, as he chewed, he pointed his fork at you, "but you owe me one of your bath bombs. I saw you had a box full of them when you were unpacking this morning."
Your eyes widened, feeling slightly embarrassed knowing Yoongi had caught your little secret you were trying to keep away from him. It was a perceived knowledge between the two of you that you were both obsessed with bath bombs. However, you were the one who usually bought them, and Yoongi was the one who mooched them off of you. That was the reason why you always hid them away because before you knew it, your treasure collection of bath bombs would be gone because Yoongi would be stealing them from you from right underneath your nose. And by the time when you usually realized he had found your new secret stash, more than half would be already gone and your yells of frustration will be echoing down the hallways of all the agent's sleeping quarters.
Yoongi flashed you a smug smile before going back to eating, ignoring the two other males' presence. Seeing as Yoongi was no longer paying attention to you, you looked back at Sungwoon who was now eyeing you.
"Now, to answer your question, today wasn't bad at all. I was a bit concerned that I may not understand what you were all covering in class but I have to thank my old school although I always complained about how quick they taught," you grinned, the lie you came up with easily escaping your lips.
From the corner of your eye, you can see Yoongi roll his eyes obviously seeing that you were working your charms like every other mission you did. It was your talent, your discreet way of slithering your way into a man's heart and seducing the information you needed out of them. You heard the soft scoff Yoongi released but you ignored him as Sungwoon gave you his full attention, grinning at you.
"Well, I'm glad. But like I said earlier today, if you have any issues, don't hesitate to come to me. I'll happily help you without any hesitation," Sungwoon seemed to be affected by your presence like you had hoped, his cheeks dusted a light pink.
Your lips pulled up into a broad smile, releasing a small giggle as you nodded, looking up at the male through your eyelashes. "Thank you. That's really sweet of you, I appreciate it," you sweetly thank, almost being able to see the imaginary arrow strike Sungwoon straight to the heart like one of the old cartoon films.
Sungwoon puffed out his chest in pride as he returned you look, "Of course! I'll happily do whatever you need help in, especially since I am the class president."
Yoongi's jaws clenched, his hand violently striking down as he stabbed a piece of cherry tomato. However, the silverware didn't puncture the skin, the small red fruit slipping through the four prongs and flying into the air. Through your peripheral vision, you watched in alarm as the red fruit smacked into a female's head, a small squeak escaping their lips.
"What the fuck!" The female growled as she held up the tomato, her eyes glaring daggers at everyone around her.
Your eyes shifted to Yoongi, who was guilty of the flying tomato, the male himself looking alarmed at what he did. He met your gaze, a small sheepish smile spreading on his lips as he shrugged his shoulder.
"Who fucking did that?" The angry female stood up; her eyes narrowed as she looked around. At that moment, you realized who she was sitting with, recognizing two of your classmates who had glared at you throughout the day.
You smiled warily at Sungwoon, who was now eyeing the angry female with a frown, his hand shifting to move his large glasses higher up onto the bridge of his nose. It seemed like he was going to spring into action if it became necessary.
"Nayeon, the new girls," the female you recognized as Seulgi pointed to your table, the corner of her painted lips lifting up into a smirk. At Seulgi's words, the young girl, Nayeon's eyes landed on Yoongi and your form, her eyes narrowing. It was a comedic sight, seeing her nose flare as blood rushing to her face, tinting her pale skin pink.
She angrily stomped up to where you sat, the tomato that hit her head in her hand. She was a petite girl. However, her glare made up for her size as she proudly stood by your table. You were quick to notice how she was pointing the glare at you instead of Yoongi, her lips that was colored a coral red curled into a snarl.
Although you were in no way intimidated by Nayeon, you widen your eyes in surprise as the female pointed a perfectly manicured finger to your face. "You fucking bitch, do you think this is funny?"
You held back a sigh as you cocked your head to the side, a polite smile on your lips. "I don't think it's funny how a tomato hit your head. However, I find it quite amusing how you quickly assumed it was me who threw it at you." You comment, placing your fork down onto your plate as you stood up.
Nayeon seemed surprised by your retort, not expecting you to stand up to face her. You continued to keep the smile on your face as you approached her smaller form. You were equal in height, if not a bit taller, making your eyes directly meet hers.
"W-What are y-"
Your hand reached out to pluck a piece of some garnish that must have been stuck to the tomato, attaching to the female's hair when the red fruit hit her. Nayeon's face flushed as you held up the piece of green leaf to show her before grabbing the napkin off the table, gently wiping her hair to get anything wet off.
"Sorry about Yoonji. The tomato obviously didn't want to be eaten by her and flew right out of her fork when she tried to stab it," you lightly laughed, your voice slightly echoing through the now silent hall. However, you pulled your hand away as Nayeon smacked it, her lips shaped into a scowl, her cheeks flushing.
"D-Don't touch me! Who do you think you are?" The female before you quickly composed herself as she pointed a heated glare at your form. Before you could say anything, Nayeon began speaking once again, her nose scrunching in disgust. "You're new so you may not know this but don't get on our way, I promise you, we won't hesitate and we'll make your life miserable. You're already standing out too much, don't think you're special just because you're a bit pretty and everyone is talking about you. It's just because you're new to the school, don't let it get to your head."
Your lips parted slightly, not expecting the female to ramble on like that. However, you're quick to pull yourself together, smiling, only making the girl before you become even more angry, her face getting redder at every passing second.
"Oh, thanks for the warning. That's really kind of you. I'll make sure not to get in your way, although I'm not sure how I would," you cluelessly say, mentally laughing at your words only fueled Nayeon even more. Your voice was sweet and innocent, the polar opposite to the female before you. It just showed to everyone in the room that you were in no way intimidated by Nayeon's threat.
The said female released a weird sound of disbelief before she sends you one last glare, pushing the nearly crushed tomato into your hand before stomping off, going back to her table where the group of girls sat. Most of them sending you a glare.
Whispers filled the once loud dining hall, most students returning back to their conversation as they noticed that the drama had ended with no bloodshed or extreme insults between the new transfered student and one of the females high on school's hierarchy system.
You held in a laugh as you wiped your hand with the napkin, wrapping the now inedible, mostly crushed tomato in the white paper and placing it beside your full plate. Your eyes met Yoongi before you broke out into giggles making your partner smirk, his hand successfully stabbing a tomato.
"Don't get on our way!" Yoongi squealed mockingly, your shoulders shaking with laughter you tried to hold in. From the corner of your eye, you can see Daniel and Sungwoon sharing a look of disbelief before looking at the two of you in shock.
"Who the fuck does she think she is? Get in her way? We're new for fuck's sake, we don't even have enough leeway to get involved in some stupid, unnecessary drama when we are trying to get our shit together before graduation," Yoongi snorted as he moved to stuff his mouth once again. For a second his eyes met yours, obviously acting like he was a regular senior female student who was trying to get her life together as she enters a new school.
You shrugged your shoulders as you sat back down, "Don't know. My question is, how old are we again? I thought things like these only happened in movies and cliche Kdramas," you joked, sending a small smile at Sungwoon.
The Class President's lip twitched as he held back a smile, eyeing you with a look of impressment. "That was rather mature of you," he commented, pushing his glasses higher up to his nose.
You shook your head as you twirled your pasta with your fork. "Mm, my mother always told me to kill people with kindness. Her words weren't that threatening, anyways. She's not going to do anything to me, especially when I did nothing wrong," you shrug your shoulders, your eyes shifting to their table before looking back at the male beside you. "I wasn't even the reason why a cherry tomato hit her head," you sent a pointed look to Yoongi who openly ignored it.
"And," you began, your eyes glinting only for a second, carefully picking the words that left your lips, "I'm not here to make enemies. I just want to enjoy my senior year without any trouble, especially since this school seems like such a nice place. It's so peaceful here on campus, it seems like there no danger and bad happening. And I rather not get murdered by those girls and spill my blood on this pretty campus."
You and Yoongi's trained eyes carefully watched the reaction of two males who sat with you. They both obviously stiffened at the innocent words you slyly let slip out, their eyes nervously looking away from you.
"Actually..." Daniel began, but before he could say anything, Sungwoon coughed, his eyes narrowing on the male who quickly shut his mouth.
That was all the info you needed, both Yoongi and you acting clueless to the awkward pause, nonchalantly starting a conversation with each other. You and your partner spoke with just eye contact, sharing a discreet nod.
Even the students were hiding the deaths.
~*~
You grip your shirt in your hand, pulling it to your face to wipe the sheen layer of sweat that glistened on your skin.
"Very good, Y/L/N. I'm quite impressed, the others are at least a lap behind you," The P.E. teacher, a rough looking man in his late thirty commented as he gave you a nod of approval. You smiled at him politely, turning away when you felt something cold touch the back of your neck.
"Here." Yoongi held out an water bottle for you to take, you accepting it with an appreciative smile. For a second, neither of you said anything, watching the group of females from your heat slowly trickle into the finish line, all of them panting, red to the face.
Yoongi was in the heat before yours, finishing the mile run with ease much like you had, if not much faster. He may not have looked like it with his thin legs and lean body, but Yoongi was athletic and quick although he liked to be lazy most of the time. A mile would have been a breeze for him.
It was quite amusing to watch your P.E. teacher yell at the top of his lungs, the veins popping at his neck as he screamed for the female's to quicken their pace if they wanted to pass the class.
However, after a moment, it got quite boring, your gaze nonchalantly shifting to the other side of the field where the boys were stretching after their light warm up. You could make out a couple of familiar faces of your classmates, but the person who caught your attention was Bae Jinyoung, the tall boy standing by himself at the corner, his head down, avoiding any form of eye contact with anyone.
The said boy interested you for some reason. He left quite an impression to you at dinner, his warning for you to stay away from quite selfish in your mind and of course, you can't leave out the interesting hobby he seemed to have. The Devil's Grimoire, you later looked it up and found out that it was a collection of ancient text where it descriptively explained the different devils who worked for satan himself.
It would be a quite interesting read and you'll probably have to look into it after your assignments here was done. It was heavily intertwined with religion and topics such as those always interested you. Perhaps, you'll ask Namjoon if he read it before because he too was interested in books such as it. Maybe he has a copy.
You were forced to look away from Jinyoung as the P.E. teacher called all of the students over to line up with a shrill whistle, the boys who were stretching rushing over to join the girls.
"We have a mock basketball game today! Get into a group of five; I don't care who you're with. I'm giving you five minutes!"
Immediately, your hand was grabbed by Yoongi, the said boy looking at you pointedly, an eyebrow raised in question when he noticed that you were trying to walk off. You didn't say anything, only nudging your chin towards the direction where Jinyoung awkwardly stood.
Yoongi eyed the boy for a moment before shaking his head, his lips moving to a frown. "No way, he doesn't look like he could even dribble the ball right. We're winning if I'm gonna play."
"Well, you're rather confident aren't you?" A playful voice commented beside you, making both Yoongi and you turn your body to face a boy who flashed you a childish smile. The male grinned at the both of you, holding the familiar orange basketball under one of his arms. You were quick to notice one of his snaggletooth, something that highlighted his boyish features.
Yoongi crossed his arms over his chest as he propped one of his hips up as he faced the boy with a look of disinterest. "I'm confident because I have the skills to back me up."
The said boy before you whistled, his eyes filling with amusement at Yoongi's respond. "Well, why don't you be on my team? I already have one guy who's going to be pretty much nonexistent throughout the game because he can't get his hand hurt because of his club activity," the boy points to another male who stood a couple of steps back, gazing at both you and Yoongi in interest.
"She has to be on the team as well," Yoongi pointed a thumb at you as you step forward with a smile.
The boy's eyes moved to you, an eyebrow raised up in question, "can she play?" Although you felt quite insulted, you kept the smile on your face.
"I bet she's better than any of the other girl's in class. Although I'm still better," Yoongi's eyes teasingly shifted to you. You rolled your eyes at his playfulness, amused at what he said. He wasn't wrong, you were quite decent at the game, especially since Yoongi often dragged you to the courts between breaks to make a couple of shots.
You admit, at first, you were quite terrible, but after becoming Yoongi's girlfriend, it somewhat became mandatory for you to be able to play the game at a decent level. Especially since your boyfriend demanded to play one-on-one from time to time. And the stubborn side of you never allowed yourself to get beaten without a good fight.
The boy in front of you shrugged his shoulders before motioning his friend over. As the two of them stood in front of you, you finally decided to introduce yourselves.
"I'm decent at playing basketball, Kim Y/N, Senior," you greet, sticking your hand out politely.
The boy who had first approached you took your hand first, his eyes widening a fraction when he felt your firm grip. "Park Woojin, Junior, and this guy is Park Jihoon also a Junior." After letting go of your hand, Jihoon shyly stepped forward, taking your hand.
His hands felt extremely soft in yours, even his handshake gentle, half the strength of Woojin's. "It's nice to meet you Y/N Noona." Jihoon flashed you an angelic smile that would have melted you if Jungkook didn't constantly call you that.
Jungkook, the youngest of your team was someone you babied all of the time. You even called him your child from time to time, the said male always blushing and complaining as he tried to push you away and escape from your embrace. But you knew the maknae had a soft spot for you as well, the sweet, childlike way of him calling you 'Y/N Noona' constantly proving it.
And at that moment, you mentally thanked Jungkook, your constant exposure to his cuteness stopping you from cooing at the boy before you.
Jihoon and Woojin's attention moved to Yoongi who stood beside you, the male dressed as a female looking unimpressed. However, he had the decency to at least introduce himself, giving a curt nod to the two boys. "Min Yoonji, Senior. Y/N's roommate." You were slightly taken back as Yoongi took hold of your arm, hooking his own with yours as he brought you closer.
"So, Jihoon has an upcoming Ikebana contest so he can't risk getting his hand hurt. But since the P.E. teacher is a ass, he's still making him participate. He'll just be at the side of the court while we play and-"
"We'll win even with only three of us playing, don't worry," Yoongi cut him off, the corner of his lips tugging into a confident smirk. He pushed a part of his wig out of his face in annoyance, his eyes moving to your wrist that had multiple bands of hair ties. You hold in your complaint as he snatches one off your wrist, holding the band between his lips to tie the strands of his black wig up.
You gave your partner a stink eye that he ignored. However, you became a bit mesmerized at how elegantly Yoongi began to tie his hair. The black strands of hair got pulled away from his pale neck, the skin looking soft. At that moment, the image of his neck painted purple and blue from one of your heated nights together flashed through your mind. You had marked him so much that one time, he was forced to wear a turtleneck because having it exposed made him get constant teasing from the whole group. Your teammates had laughed that you were in control of the relationship the two of you shared but Yoongi only flashed a knowing smirk to you, aware that no amount of teasing will reveal his own marks of claim that were not visible to his friends' eyes, hidden underneath the layer of clothes you wore.
You stopped daydreaming, uncomfortably pressing your thighs together as your teacher's loud yell spread through the P.E. field.
"Alright! Who doesn't have a group and which groups is missing people?"
Your eyes automatically shifted to a particular boy who stood by himself, awkwardly looking down at the floor. The P.E. teacher sighed as he patted Jinyoung's shoulder, "You again Bae?" The older man shook his head with a frown, giving the said boy a look of pity.
That only made the male shrink even more, his shoulder slumping in shame.
"We're missing a person here, sir," you lift your hand up, making the other students step away from your group so the teacher could see you.
You heard Woojin that was standing behind you hiss, but you ignore it and welcome Jinyoung with a bright smile. He seemed hesitant but returned it with a weaker one of his own. However, he was quick to look away as Yoongi sent his scrutinizing look at him, poor Jinyoung eyes moving back to the ground.
As you were about to approach Jinyoung, Woojin took hold of your wrist, lightning pulling you back. His lips were shaped into a straight line, his eyes darting to Jinyoung's form before looking into your face.
"I'm blaming you if we lose."
You rolled your eyes. As if your team would lose with Yoongi's on the team.
~*~
"Pass!"
The corner of your lips tugged up as you threw the ball between your opponents, the orange basketball easily reaching Yoongi who was waiting for it.
You didn't even bother looking up at the hoop to know the male would make it as he jumped up. You only turn your back, returning to your side of the court with a light jog. And halfway, you hear the familiar swoosh of the ball entering the net indicating another point for your team.
"Nice pass," Yoongi grins as he gives you a high five. His cheeks were flushed with exercise, drenched in sweat, much like you were. He looked like how he usually did when he exercised, and damn, he looked good. But you couldn't help the amusement that danced in your eyes as you eyed the ponytail of his wig, a reminder that he was indeed crossdressing and you were both currently part of a mission.
His lips were stretched into a gummy smile you loved. However, it was quick to disappear and turn into a stoic frown as Woojin rushed to the two of you, his arms getting thrown over both of your shoulders.
"When you said you guys were decent, I actually thought you meant decent! Not fucking amazing!" The male gushed as he excitedly jumped around, shaking both Yoongi and you with his movement. However, he was forced to let go as Yoongi's hand shot out, slamming his hand into the vulnerable stomach of the boy. Woonji doubled over in agony; a pain-filled moan escaped his lips.
"Don't carelessly touch me, you're all sweaty and gross. And I hate physical contacts with guys," Yoongi snottily muttered, giving poor Woojin a look of distaste.
You couldn't help the weak laugh from escaping your lips, not knowing how to feel about the ice princess persona Yoongi was perfectly acting. He was just too good... It almost made you forget that he was actually male...
"Yikes, that's an impressing punch Yoonji-Noona delivered," your eyes shifted to Jihoon who had somehow sneaked up behind you. He flashed you a sweet smile as he handed you a small towel, "Great job, Y/N-Noona. You're great on the court." The boy's smile was so angelic you almost felt like you were temporary blind.
You patted your face with the towel you accepted, grinning at his compliment before your attention moved to Jinyoung who stood a couple of feets away. Throughout the game he stayed out of Yoongi, Woojin, and your way much like Jihoon, only moving when the ball neared him. In the beginning, you could tell Woojin was annoyed that Jinyoung wasn't participating, but the male seemed to forget his irritation as he realized that it was possible to win a game with just you three playing.
Your feet moved to Jinyoung who eyed the other teams playing on the court, deciding to engage the boy in a conversation. However, before you could reach him, your eyes widened, your mouth falling open to yell a warning.
"Watch out!"
Your shout did nothing as you winced, one of your eyes closing in a grimace as you watched the hard orange basketball slam right into Jinyoung's face, making the said boy crumble to the floor. You were the first to rush to his side, helping Jinyoung sit up.
"Fuck, that looked like it hurt," you muttered as you tried to pry the boy's hand off his face. However, when you saw the blood trickle down his chin, you sighed, pressing his hand harder to his nose, making him wince. He looked at you questioning through his teary eye, trying to blink away the pain.
"Wha-"
"Keep applying pressure dummy. We need to stop the bleeding. And don't dare look up, we don't want you swallowing the blood," you're gentle while quick to give out orders as you reposition his hand, not caring as you saw blood get onto your hand.
At the corner of your eyes, you saw Yoongi quickly approaching. However, before he could, you feel another presence beside you.
"Hey, there's nothing for you all gather and see! Go back to your games!" The P.E. Teacher yelled as he knelt beside you and Jinyoung, looking at the two of you in concern.
"Just a nosebleed, sir. But I'll go take him over to the nurse's office and make sure everything is fine. I'm pretty sure nothing is broken, and a nice ice packet will do its work and help with the pain," you good-heartedly explain, smiling brightly at the man who grunted as he eyed both Jinyoung and your hand covered in blood.
The man muttered, "Make sure you go wash your hand properly," before dismissing the both of you.
As you gently helped Jinyoung up to his feet, your eyes met with Yoongi who stood with your team, a look of annoyance present on his face. But he gave you a nod, knowing you were probably going to sneak off to investigate the school a bit after you brought Jinyoung to the nurse.
Yoongi brushed his wigs choppy bangs out of his eyes before he whipped around, Woojin following behind him with sparkling eyes. Jihoon, on the other hand, gave you a small wave and followed behind the two before you left with Jinyoung.
The hallways of the school were empty because classes were still in session and it was absolutely silent except your footsteps because neither Jinyoung or you were trying to make conversation.
The injured boy himself led you to the nurse's office, only stopping once as he waited for you to open the door because he was unable to with his hands being bloody and still attached to his face.
"Oh, my. That's quite a lot of blood!"
Before you could even step in into the room, a female had rushed to the both of you; her painted lips drawn to a frown. Your eyes were quick to take her in, subconsciously raising an eyebrow of doubt.
This couldn't be the school nurse... right?
When you thought about nurses at a school, you always imagined middle-aged to older women with graying hair and gentle smiles. However, the woman before you couldn't be older than thirty and you wouldn't be surprised if she were close to your age. Her makeup was done flawlessly, her clothes hugging her body a bit too tightly and showing a bit too much skin to be called appropriate at a school, a private school if you must add.
Although she had a typical doctor's white coat on, her buttons were open revealing a tight pencil skirt that barely reached her knees. Her blouse was a bright red; her cleavage seems to be peeking out through the free buttons that should have been closed.
The woman ushered Jinyoung to sit in a chair, quickly moving to act. It almost seems like she didn't realize you were there as well, cooing at the injured boy who looked as if he wanted to be anywhere else but there.
"Is it alright if I washed my hands? I got bit of blood on them," you finally speak up, announcing your presence to the woman. She eyed you for a second before nodding, moving to clean up Jinyoung's face that had blood smeared on it.
You held in a scoff as you pumped soaped into you palm, thoroughly washing your hand to rid of any blood that attached to your skin. By the time you were satisfied, Jinyoung was trying to push away the nurse who was placing a packet of ice to his nose.
"Ms. Ahn, I-I can hold the ice myself!" Jinyoung stuttered, looking flustered as the woman placed her hand on his knee.
"Nonsense! And how many times have I told you to call me Nurse Hani, you don't have to be so polite! Anyhow, your hand is covered in blood, and I can't have you ruining my ice pack. Why don't you lay down over there as well, you may get a delayed headache because of the impact. Now be a good boy an-"
You coughed, making the poor boy look up at you in relief while the woman, who you concluded as Ahn Hani gave you a stink eye, obviously displeased that you interrupted her in "helping" her patient.
"Well, I'll be heading back to class now, Jinyoung. Hope you feel better," you smiled at the younger boy as you moved to leave through the door.
"W-Wait, I'll go with you Y/N-Noona!" The boy tried to stand up to escape the nurse's grip, but before he could, the woman pushed down onto his shoulder, forcing him down onto the chair. You send him a smile of pity as he sends you a pleading look, only waving at him as you closed the door.
You shook your head, thinking about the nurse. You obviously didn't like her. She had blatantly ignored you, not even acknowledging your presence and that ticked you off. Where was her professionalism? And the way she acted so sweet with Jinyoung as if she had a motive made you sick. Was she perhaps sexist, you couldn't even believe the way she was so touchy with Jinyoung was even appropriate.
The annoyance you were feeling was quickly pushed to the side as you straighten your back, your eyes becoming serious. You were going to take advantage of being out of class to go dig up any kind of info. And the first place you were going to go was the art room, the place where the third victim, Chou Tzuyu's body was found.
You personally wanted to visit each place where the girls were found to do your own thorough investigation to make sure nothing was left unfound. It wouldn't be unusual for the police to not notice something your trained eyes were taught to find. Even the smallest thing wouldn't escape your eyes and you were desperate for anything. You needed every single information to find the killer of these poor girls.
"I told you to not talk to me ever again, didn't I?!"
You stop, subconsciously holding your breath as you heard a voice from down the hallways in front of you. You pressed your body against the wall, making yourself smaller as you turned the corner to avoid directly meeting whoever spoke down the hallway.
"Y/N-Noona?" You flinched and turned around in alarm to see Jinyoung eyeing you in question. He was no longer covered in blood, carefully pressing a plastic bag to his nose that had a piece of frozen paper towel in it.
He blinked in surprise. He swear you were in front of him but... He gasped, you, who were a couple of feet away from him a mere second ago was now behind him, dragging him into an empty classroom. You brought your finger to your lip, muttering a soft 'shhh' to indicate to him to stay quiet as you forced the two of you to crouch down where you wouldn't be detected.
Seconds later, two forms walked past where you hid. You were quick to recognize the female who stomped down the hallways, trying to walk away from the boy who scrambled after her.
"Nayeonie-Noona!"
The female whirled around, her lips curled up into a snarl. She angrily stomped up to the male, her finger jabbing harshly to the taller male's chest. Her eyes were filled with anger, a look that you were starting to realize was always present on her face.
"Do. Not. Call. Me. That." She hissed as she jabbed him with her finger at each word. "I don't care if I used to let you call me that when we were younger. Here, I don't fucking know you, do you understand me? Don't look at me, don't talk to me, don't come near me when you see me in the hallways. I don't even want to be breathing the same air as you, do you hear me? You and I have nothing to do with each other. And if I ever hear you telling people that we are actually related and were adopted out by different families, I swear I'm going to hunt you down. How the hell am I supposed to keep up my imagine when I'm associated with the nerdiest guy like you?" Nayeon spat out as she glared at the boy who had a heartbroken look on his face.
"B-But..."
"I don't fucking care. Do you know how hard I worked to be included in Seulgi-Unnie's group? I'm not letting everything go to waste by letting people at school know that we're siblings. I hate you, do you understand. Never approach me again, you disgust me."
You winced at the harsh words, feeling pity for the boy who was on the receiving end of it. He wasn't even a bad looking kid like Nayeon said. Sure, his glasses seemed like it was too big and thick for his face and his hair was almost like a birds nest. But he had a cute face and he would definitely be described as handsome if he took better care of himself. And although it's not obvious, you could see the resemblance between the two now that you knew they were siblings.
The poor boy stood by himself in the hallway even after Nayeon was gone, staring down at the floor. But eventually, he turned around with clenched fists, walking away from the scene with heavy footsteps. With him gone, you finally release a breath, letting Jinyoung who was crouching beside you to stand up.
"That was rather harsh, don't you think?" You muttered as you dusted your clothes off. Not that it made such a big difference because it was covered in dirt and sweat from P.E.
Jinyoung looked a bit uncomfortable, rubbing his neck as he avoided eye contact with you. "H-Her whole group is like that... But I didn't know that.."
"Well, I think all those girls should look at themselves in the mirror and see how ugly their personality is if they all act like her. And we should probably keep the information we found out a secret. Poor uh..."
"Lai Guanlin, a first year..."
You raised an eyebrow in surprise, not expecting the shy boy to know the boy who was getting verbally abused by Nayeon. Jinyoung seems to notice your curious gaze, his cheeks flushing as he looked away from you.
"H-He lives two doors down from my room..."
You hum in understanding as you look up at the ceiling. Different thoughts were running through your head, trying to link possibilities. However, your thoughts were cut off as you heard the familiar sound of the dismissal bell, a mess of curses being whispered under your breath.
It looks like your visit to the art room is going to be postponed for now. Especially since...
Your eyes drifted to Jinyoung's awkward, lanky form. You couldn't investigate if he's here with you.
However, you now knew you needed to investigate a bit more about the people who were in this school. Ahn Hani, Lai Guanlin, Im Nayeon... And of course Kang Seulgi's little click of popular girls.
It should start to get interesting....

Ikebana- Ikebana (生け花, "living flowers") is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.[1][2] It is also known as Kadō (華道, "way of flowers"). The tradition dates back to the 7th century when floral offerings were made at altars. Later, they were placed in the tokonoma (alcove) of a home. Ikebana reached its first zenith in the 16th century under the influence of Buddhist tea masters and has grown over the centuries, with over 1,000 different schools in Japan and abroad.
