Aubade//JJK

The early pinks and pale purples of dawn filtered in through the bedroom curtains, which for some reason, had been drawn back.
You groaned in confusion and frustration. A quick glance at the clock beside your bed revealed the time- you still had forty-five minutes until you had to get up and get ready for work.
Sighing you tried to reach your hand over to pat Jungkook beside you, a habit you'd developed long ago. "What the heck?" Your raspy morning voice broke the silence in the bedroom. Frustrated, you flipped over. It was then that you found Jungkook was gone. He'd pulled his half of the blankets around you and left. You pouted quietly by yourself, upset that he hadn't even kissed you 'goodbye' before he'd left for work. You were about to kick off the blankets in dramatic protest against life's unfairness when the door opened.
Jungkook walked in still wearing his pajama bottoms. He carried two mugs, one with coffee for you and the other full of tea for himself. His brown hair was still tussled from sleep, but his smile was bright and clear.

"Good morning baby." You rolled your eyes and buried yourself in the covers. He chuckled softly and set the mugs down on the bed-side table. The bed shifted slightly as he sat down beside you, and you squeezed your eyes shut tightly, anticipating his next move.
The covers were pulled off of you abruptly and in response you whined.

"Hey! It's too early for this nonsense." You gave Jungkook a withering look that faltered when he continued to smile at you lovingly. He laughed and the early colors of dawn played on the wall behind him. The light cast a soft, almost ethereal glow onto his face, causing you to blink.

"Nonsense, hm?" As you nodded your head, Jungkook pulled you into his arms. "I think that you are nonsense." Again, you rolled your eyes, but you snuggled closer to him regardless. He kissed your cheek and hugged you a little tighter. "Is it nonsensical for me to want to watch the sunrise with the one I love?" Looking up into his big, brown doe eyes, you nodded yet again.

"Yes, it's romantic nonsense." Jungkook rolled his eyes playfully, while you smiled and kissed his cheek. "But I can't think of anyone else I'd rather be nonsensical with." Jungkook grinned.
The two of remained like that, watching the sun as it took the sky from the moon and all of the colors that came with the change. You sat in Jungkook's lap as he fiddled with your hair. You leaned against his chest and laid your head on his shoulder. The soft, golden rays of sunlight filtered through the room as you both sat content.

Then, in a soft and quiet voice, he began to sing.
He sang your favorite song. It was a love song that reminded you of him. The two of you sang along to it in the car and danced to it in the kitchen. You listened to it when he was away and remembered what it was like to have his arms around you.
As he sang, you closed your eyes and allowed his voice to lull you into contentment. He ended the song by kissing your forehead, and the two of you allowed your gazes to linger on one another. Smiling, he leaned down and kissed you.

After a few moments, he pulled away and you reached for your coffee mug. Putting the rim quickly to your lips, you hoped to hide your blush. Jungkook smiled proudly as you took the first sip. His face fell as you spluttered and as your face soured after taking the drink.

"Jungkook, this coffee tastes awful." He flushed and you grinned. "I love you, you dork. Even though you can't make my morning coffee." You both chuckled as Jungkook tried to pull you into a hug, effectively spilling the mug's contents onto your bedsheets.
