Sacrifice~J.JK

The door creaks open, and in walks Jungkook, a tired but content smile playing on his lips. He kicks off his shoes and sets down his bag.

He first looked at his daughter, and then turned his attention to Y/n, who was sitting on the couch with a book in hand. With a gentle grin, he approaches her, leaning down to plant a soft kiss on her cheek. She give a little smile.

Jungkook's attention then shifts to their 6-year-old daughter, whose eyes light up at the sight of her father.

"Daddy's home!" she exclaims, running into his arms.

He scoops her up, spinning her around as she giggles with pure delight.

"Hey there, my little princess," Jungkook coos, ruffling her hair affectionately. "Did you miss me today?"

The little girl nods vigorously, her smile widening. "Yes, Daddy! We made a drawing for you!"

Jungkook's eyes soften as he gazes at his daughter, before casting a warm glance at Y/n. "That's wonderful, sweetheart. You and mommy are the best."

He watches as Jungkook is spending time with his daughter. No doubt he is a good father, you can say the best.

__

Y/n put Yooha to bed, meanwhile she went to Jungkook's room. He was not there, he was in the shower. So she waited for him in the room.

He came out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist, and was surprised to see her in the room. She quickly looked away. "What are you doing here?"

"I am sorry, I was just here to remind you that, tomorrow is sports day at Yooha's school." She told him.

"Hmm, I remember. You can leave now." He said with a cold face.

He is a good husband too, but In Front of his daughter. Now he knows she is growing up and she pointed out the distance between them, because of that he started showing some type of love.

She nodded her head and left the room. 5 years of marriage, yet they still don't talk to each other about any other topic except their daughter.

She nodded her head and left the room, closing the door before. She went to her own room.

She changed her clothes and laid on the bed. Wondering if there is any way she could make this marriage work?

She gave up her dreams, her priorities, her own life for this marriage. But in return he doesn't even look at her with kind glare.

She already lost hope, she tried to make this marriage work, she even tried to seduce him, but she got no reaction from him. It felt like he didn't even want to put his eyes on her.

So she stopped trying to be his wife. All she can be is the mother of his daughter.

And that was the whole purpose of her marriage to him anyway.

She is not Y/n's daughter. Yooha is the daughter of Y/n's sister. But she died when Yooha was merely a few months old. And Y/n's family made her marry Jungkook, so Yooha gets motherly love.

Y/n was against this from the start, she didn't feel the need to marry Jungkook to take care of Yooha. Nor did she want to give up her dreams.

But her family emotionally blackmails her and makes Y/n marry Jungkook.

Jungkook was against this too, but he was under pressure. He made one thing clear even before their marriage, that he can't promise her love. He told her that he only loved one woman in his life who had passed away. So there will be no feeling for Y/n. He told her that if she just wants to be Yooha's mother only then they can marry.

She wanted to experience love, a healthy relationship, but she never gets too.

Children in brightly colored jerseys dashed across the field, their laughter filling the air with infectious joy.

Jungkook and Y/n stood by the sidelines, cheering forl Yahoo, as she eagerly participated in the sack race.

Amidst the cheering parents, Y/n noticed a tall, yet approachable man, Taehyung engrossed in cheering for a young boy, Haru. Haru is Yooha's close friend, so Jungkook knows about him too.

Y/n leaned over to Jungkook, whispering, "I think that's Haru's father, Taehyung. He's a single parent, you know. Takes care of Haru all by himself. That is so impressive, Haru has such great manners."

Jungkook looked at Y/n, as if he was offended by her. "I would have done a great job in taking care of Yooha alone too. But you volunteer, or else I would be the best single father for her."

Jungkook glanced over at Taehyung's animated gestures as he encouraged Haru. She replied, "No, that is not what I mean."

As the races wound down, Yooha dashed toward them, her face flushed with excitement. "Mom, Dad, did you see me? I came in second!"

Jungkook ruffled her hair with a proud smile, "You were amazing, Yooha! We saw you the whole time."

As Yooha grabbed their hands, leading them towards the refreshment stand, Taehyung approached with Haru by his side.

A warm smile played on Taehyung's lips as he nodded to Jungkook and Y/n. "Your daughter did great out there."

Y/n returned the smile, her admiration evident in her gaze. "And Haru was fantastic too. You must be proud."

Taehyung's eyes softened, and he nodded, his voice warm with gratitude. "Thank you. It's a team effort, you know. Haru's my world."

As the children giggled and chattered, Y/n couldn't help but feel a surge of respect for. She has met Taehyung before too in a school event, so she knows him well.

Yooha was icing the cake with Y/n. They both share a loving bond. Y/n loves Yooha alot and she doesn't have any problem with taking care of her. In fact, she feels grateful and happy whenever Yooha calls her mom and treats her like a mother.

Jungkook was home too, but he was sitting on the kitchen counter using his iPad.

"Dad! You are not helping us at all. All you are doing is using your ipad." Yooha said.

"I am giving you support. I am cheering for you both from here." Jungkook replied. Y/n chuckled.

"We don't need cheering, come help her with the icing. I will clean the kitchen mess in the meantime." Y/n said and stepped closer to Jungkook. He was staring at her eyes and then he pulled her closer.

She still gets mini heart attacks when he does some romantic stuff, but he does that Infront of Yooha. So it's not real.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, he rubbed the tip of his nose with her nose. "How about we let Yooha do it, while we can cuddle?"

"Ahh! No! Come help me mom and dad." Yooha exclaimed. Jungkook started laughing and jumped off the counter and walked closer to Yooha. "Dad? Do you and mom love each other?"

Jungkook looked at Y/n wondering why Yooha asked such an unusual question, wondering if anything happened. Y/n shrugged her shoulders. "Of course I do. I love her a lot."

"I feel that way too, but you know the kids in school were saying that you both must not love each other or even dislike each other because you both sleep in different rooms. They told me their parents sleep in the same room." Yooha said.

"It's nothing like that, we love each other and we are happy. We sleep in separate rooms because we need space and Don't like sharing the room, " Jungkook exclaimed. "Would you like it if you had to share a room with someone?"

Yooha shook her head. "No, I like to own the whole room all by myself."

"Exactly, that is why me and your mom don't share the room."

Yooha nodded her head.

Y/n was lying on bed, trying to sleep. But someone knocked on the door. She opened the door and saw Jungkook.

He didn't look at her and was looking away from her. "Come sleep in my room."

"I won't be comfortable." She said, Because how would she be comfortable if he doesn't even look at her when they are alone? As if there is something wrong with her.

"Yooha finds it odd, I don't want her to think our marriage is not normal. Just come." He said and left.

She was hesitant but then she decided to go. Maybe this way they step a little closer in their marriage.

She saw Jungkook already on the bed, and she laid on the other side of the bed. In five years, it's the first time they are sleeping on the same bed.

Maybe they couldn't have the first time too, because Jungkook got up from the bed and chose to sleep on the floor instead.

It made Y/n really self conscious. She continuously gets ignored and rejected by Jungkook. It's clear that he doesn't want this marriage to go anywhere.

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee permeated the air as Y/n and Taehyung sat across from each other, their cups clinking softly against the saucers. The cozy ambiance of the shop provided a comforting backdrop for their conversation.

Y/n sighed, her gaze fixed on the swirling patterns in her latte. "I don't know, Taehyung. It's just been so difficult lately. I expect more from him than I should."

Taehyung leaned forward, his expression empathetic. "I understand, Y/n.

Y/n fiddled with her spoon, her eyes clouded with uncertainty. "I can't complain, he was clear about the marriage for the first day, I just felt lost in the middle."

"He loved your sister so much that he still hasn't moved on from her." Taehyung said. She nodded her head.

"He did, he was really sweet and loving to her. He treated her like his world." She lets out a sad chuckle. She kinda wishes he would give her some love.

Taehyung reached out and gently squeezed her hand, offering her a reassuring smile. "You're not alone in this, Y/n. Sometimes, just having someone to listen to can make a world of difference."

She quickly looked away, attempting to divert the conversation. "How about you, Taehyung? How do you manage everything with Haru on your own?"

Taehyung's expression softened, a touch of pride evident in his voice. "It's not always easy, but Haru keeps me going. He's my priority, you know. Everything else just falls into place."

As they continued to talk, Y/n found herself drawn to Taehyung's compassionate nature, his genuine understanding, and the way he effortlessly eased her burdens.

Despite her growing fondness, she reminded herself of her commitment to Jungkook, Yooha and their family, pushing away any thoughts that hinted at more than friendship.

It has been a week, they live in the same room now, but Jungkook sleeps on the floor, and without any mattress. Because of that he doesn't get proper sleep, and she noticed that too.

So she decided to sleep on the floor instead. Jungkook came from the shower and saw her setting the blanket on the floor. "What are you doing? I can do it by myself."

"I will sleep on the floor today." Y/n exclaimed.

"No, I am fine with sleeping on the floor." Jungkook said.

"I am not, you don't look comfortable." She said,

"Y/n, get up, don't argue with me right now. I am tired." He exclaimed. But she ignored him and laid on the floor with her blanket and pillow. She closed her eyes and acted like she was already asleep.

Jungkook let out a sigh, he knows how uncomfortable the floor is. He went and lifted her up in his arms, making her surprised. He laid her on the bed.

"Just sleep, I can't sleep with you." He said.

"Why? Why do you treat me like I am dirty or something?" She asked. He was surprised by her reaction.

"It's not that, it's just. I tend to hug a pillow or people. So that is why I didn't want to make you uncomfortable by hugging you in my sleep." He told her. Finally explaining his actions, that he is not rude, just misunderstood.

"It's fine to me." She said, Jungkook finally looked into her eyes. And nodded his head.

The soft glow of chandeliers illuminated the grand hall as Y/n and Jungkook mingled among the distinguished guests at the business gala. Laughter and the tinkling of glasses filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere.

Jungkook bring her to a business event, they acts like a normal couple In Front of the world. So it's not a new thing.

Y/n watched as Jungkook engaged in a conversation with a group of colleagues, her eyes scanning the room until they fell upon a striking young employee, Lina who seemed to be particularly attentive to Jungkook's every word.

A subtle unease crept over Y/n as she noticed Lina's lingering gaze and the playful twirl of her hair.

Y/n took a deep breath, attempting to quell the rising discomfort within her. But as the conversation between Jungkook and Lina continued, Y/n found herself growing increasingly restless.

She couldn't shake the feeling of possessiveness clawing at her chest, a protective instinct she didn't quite understand herself.

Struggling to contain her emotions, Y/n excused herself from her own conversation and made her way over to where Jungkook and the girl were engaged in animated discussion.

With a forced smile, she interjected, "Jungkook, may I steal you away for a moment?"

Jungkook turned to her, a hint of surprise flickering in his eyes, but he nodded and followed her to a more secluded corner of the room.

Before he could say anything, Y/n blurted out, her voice tense, "I noticed how that girl was flirting with you. It's making me uncomfortable, Jungkook. Can you please ask her to back off a little?"

Jungkook's brow furrowed, a mix of confusion and concern crossing his features. "Y/n, she's just a colleague. I didn't think it was anything serious. And why are you acting like a jealous wife?"

Y/n's grip tightened on his arm, her voice tinged with an edge of possessiveness. "I know, but it doesn't sit right with me. Please, just make it clear to her that you're not available."

As they spoke, Lina approached, her smile faltering as she sensed the tension. Y/n turned to her, her tone sharp, "And you, young lady, need to understand boundaries. He's my husband, and I won't tolerate any more of this behavior. Stay away from him."

Lina's eyes widened in surprise before she quickly excused herself, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Y/n exhaled deeply, her heart racing as she realized the intensity of her own reaction.

Jungkook placed his hand on her shoulder, his voice gentle. "Y/n, I understand. I'll talk to her. Let's just enjoy the rest of the evening, okay?"
__

Jungkook closed the door, and Y/n thought he must have forgotten what happened in the party but he was just waiting to ask her.

"What was that? Why you acted that way in party?" Jungkook asked.

She was taking it off her earrings but stopped what she was doing. "That girl was flirting with you."

"Okay she was so what? Why do you care?" He asked.

"Maybe because you are my husband." She said,

"I am not, we are not a couple Y/n. Have I ever asked you any question? You are free from me, you can date whoever you want, do whatever you want, I don't care. I am not one to question. Because I never considered myself your husband. Same goes to you, you can't question me," he exclaimed, he was a little drunk because of the drinks he had at the party.

"You are so mad that I stopped that girl from flirting with you." She said, He got more furious, he held her jerks.

"No, that is not the point." He exclaimed.

"What is? Why can't you accept me as your wife?" She asked. "Jungkook, I am tired, I want a proper relationship, I want love."

"Okay, I will divorce you," he said. She holds his face.

"No, I want it from you."

"I can't, I can't love you, I just can't." He replied.

"Try today, maybe we will fall in love with each other." She exclaimed and kissed his lips.

She was expecting Jungkook to push her, but he didn't. And he ends up giving their marriage a chance. And they had s*x. She finds a hope, maybe this night to fill up the gaps they have in their wedding. But it did the opposite.

Jungkook was surprised by the blood on the bed sheets. "You were a v'rgin."

"Yes." She replied. It looked like he was disappointed by that fact.

"Why?" He asked.

"What do you mean? I never had a boyfriend and I married you when I was 19." She replied. And Jungkook got really mad that he wore his clothes and left her there.

Confused and worried why he left like that all of the sudden.
