Common Friend~ J.JK

The music was pulsating as the party raged on. But in an instant, everything changed. A collective gasp echoed through the room as a figure plummeted from the roof, crashing onto the hard floor below.

The room fell silent, as if time itself had frozen. Eyes widened in horror as they rushed towards the crumpled form, now lying motionless on the ground.

"Y/n!" someone screamed, as if it was a prayer.

Chaos erupted as people scrambled to help, to call for an ambulance, to do something, anything.

Jimin came out there running, his eyes were fixed on Y/n's limp body, his mind racing with fear.

"Y/n, no, no, no," he whispered, his voice trembling.

Jungkook's face was ashen, his eyes wide with shock. "What happened?" he kept repeating, as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Jimin was already on the phone, her voice shaking as she called for an ambulance. "Please, hurry. She's not moving."

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Jimin and I sat side by side on the cold hospital bench, the silence between us thick and heavy. We didn't know what to say, or how to comfort each other. All we could do was wait.

Y/n's mother paced back and forth in front of us, her eyes red-rimmed from crying.

I watched her. I had never felt so helpless in my life.

Finally, the doctor emerged from the door, his expression grave. Y/n's mother rushed to him, her hands clasped together.

"Please, doctor... how is she?" she begged.

The doctor's voice was soft, but his words were harsh. "I'm afraid Y/n has suffered a severe head injury. She's in a coma, and it will be difficult for her to regain consciousness."

The three of us stood there, frozen in shock.

Y/n's mother collapsed onto the bench, her body wracked with sobs. Jimin and I looked at each other.

I didn't know what to do, or how to process this news. All I could do was sit there, in stunned silence.

I was getting restless. I wanted to see her. I wanted to see how she was. When we were finally allowed to see her. Her mother first went there.

I couldn't meet her. After her mother, I wanted to see her, I stood up but I was stopped.

“Jungkook, let Jimin see her first. He is her boyfriend.” Her mother said. I stared at them. I knew Y/n before Jimin, Jimin must not even know what Y/n’s favorite color is.

Jimin nodded his head and went inside. I sat back, ‘Who would she like to meet first? Me or Jimin. She must want me first, no one understands the love Y/n has for me except me. “
__

Flashback,

Y/n and Jimin always feel awkward around each other when Jungkook is around.

Jungkook and Jimin have been friends for years now, and after joining high school, Jungkook and Y/n become friends. Now they spend most of their time together.

Jungkook is their common friend, but When he is not around Y/n can't even say hi to Jimin.

Even when Jimin is her neighbor and they walk home together.

It wasn't until Jungkook went on a sports trip for a week. Jungkook is in the school swimming club, so he went on a school trip related to that.

During that time Jimin and Y/n get along with each other and become close. They realize the reason why they were awkward when they were alone. Because they wanted to be more than friends.

Y/n and Jimin walk side by side, their backpacks slung over their shoulders. They exchange occasional glances, but the air between them remains tense.

"Um, Jimin, do you want to walk home together today?" Y/n hesitantly asked Jimin.

Jimin's eyes brightened up," Yeah, sure. It's nice to have some company."

As they step out of the school building, they walk alongside each other in silence. Y/n steals a quick glance at Jimin, noticing the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles. She tries to hide her own smile.

"So, have you been watching that new drama everyone's talking about?" She started a conversation with him.

"Yeah, I actually started it last night. It's pretty good so far. Have you seen it?"

" Yes, I've been binge-watching it! Do you want to watch it together with me?" She said.

Jimin smiled, "Definitely. I would love to."

Later that week, with Jungkook away on the sports trip, Y/n and Jimin sit together in the park, laughing and sharing stories.

Their interactions are free from the usual awkwardness, and they find themselves growing closer with each passing day.

"I can't believe we've been missing out on all this fun." She said.

" I know, right? We should have hung out like this ages ago." Jimin exclaimed.

" Well, better late than never, I guess." Y/n said.

The week flies by, and soon, Jungkook returns from his trip. However, as Y/n and Jimin become more engrossed in their budding relationship, Jungkook begins to feel a growing sense of isolation.

Jungkook noticed them, before this, both Jimin and Y/n were awkward. And now seeing them get along doesn't seem good to him.

" Is everything okay with you two? You seem distant from me.” Jungkook asked.

" Of course, everything's fine, Jungkook. We are not." She said and held Jungkook's arm with a smile. Right now she doesn't know if Jimin likes her or not, that is why she doesn't want to tell her feelings to Jimin.

"Yeah, we're all good." Jimin said.

"Okay, if you say so." Jungkook said

Despite their attempts to reassure Jungkook, the divide between them grows, leaving Jungkook feeling left out and confused.

"Why does it feel like they're keeping something from me? What's changed?" Jungkook said to himself.

As Jungkook's suspicion deepens, he begins to notice the subtle glances and whispered conversations between Y/n and Jimin, which only intensify his growing sense of unease.

He gave them perfect time to grow close to each other, and they got into a relationship.

Jungkook felt like he had been replaced, as Y/n and Jimin started lying to him, they were hiding their relationship from Jungkook, they often lied to Jungkook and went on dates with each other.

They weren't neglecting him, but Jungkook felt like they were.

Jungkook saw Jimin and Y/n holding hands. He was already doubting them but now it was confirmed.

It wasn't what he planned. Jungkook loved Y/n, he wanted to confess but he thought Y/n would have feelings for him too. Until he got to know she is dating Jimin.

"You guys are dating?" Jungkook asked.

They both looked shocked but then Jimin decided to tell Jungkook. Jungkook got really furious and ran away. He didn't talk to them for days.

He felt betrayed and hurt. He felt like he got cheated on, his two best friends betrayed him, even when it wasn't their fault he felt like it was.

He liked Y/n, he was the reason why Y/n and Jimin became friends and how can his friends neglect him?

Jimin and Y/n talked to Jungkook and told him how they are sorry for not telling him. Jungkook smiled. “It's fine, I acted stupid didn't I? I was just too surprised. I wasn't expecting you to be together and not tell me.”

“You are not mad at us right?” Y/n asked. Jungkook wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

“Of course not,” he said with a smile. Y/n smile back.
___

JUNGKOOK POV

I stared at her. I never wanted to see her like this. I never even imagined her to be this. Who to blame?

I stood frozen, my eyes fixed on Y/n's fragile form. She lay surrounded by machines and tubes, her body broken and battered.

I couldn't believe this was happening. Just 79 hours ago, she was smiling and laughing at my party. Now, she fought for her life.

I took a step closer, Y/n's face was pale, her eyes sunken. I reached out a trembling hand, hesitating before gently brushing a strand of hair from her forehead.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry," I whispered, my voice cracking. "Please forgive me. Please come back to me."

The machines beeped steadily, a harsh reminder of her fragile state. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and I turned to see Jimin standing behind me, his eyes filled with concern.

"Jungkook, you need to calm down," he said softly. "Y/n will pull through. She's strong."

I nodded, but my eyes never left Y/n's face. I made a silent vow to her, I would do everything in my power to make sure she recovered, to keep her safe from harm. And I would never let her go again.

We came out of the ICU. “Have you eaten anything?” Jimin asked.

“I can't swallow the food when she is in that state.” I replied.

“But you need to be strong for her right?” He exclaimed. I nodded my head.

“What exactly happened?” I asked. I didn't ask the details of the accident from Jimin.

Jimin sighed. “After you left the party, she and I had an argument, she kept asking me to go find you, that you need someone, and I should leave the party to find you. If I were with her, I wouldn't let her go to the roof,”

“So like you are saying it's my fault? Because I left the party early?” How can you point your finger at me?

“I didn't say anything. I am just saying what happened. And she was alone on the roof.”

“Alone? She is not a kid that fell from the roof like that. There must be someone there,” I exclaimed.

“Police did investigate right. They find no clue,”

“But what if someone was there?” I asked.

“What are you trying to say? You think someone pushed her?” Jimin asked.

“What if someone did?” I asked.

“It was your house, and it's your own mother who is not letting the police investigate this case anymore.” Jimin replied.

“What?” I had no clue what was happening outside the hospital.

I decided to go back home, the house was giving me flashbacks of that night. Oh how I hate that night. So much happened, and in all that Y/n suffered.

“Jungkook,” Mom looked at me. “What is this? Were you in hospital all this time? What have you done to yourself? Go take a shower and shave.”

“Mom, why are you not letting the police investigate?” I asked.

“Jungkook, first you hosted that party when I was out of the town and then that girl fell from the roof-”

“Y/n, not that girl.” I replied.

“Whatever, I have told you to stay away from her, haven't I? And you want the police to continue coming to our house? You know the media. I can't let your silly teenage mistake ruin my reputation.”

“My mistake?”

“Yes, your mistake. If you didn't host that party, that girl wouldn't get hurt. And if something happens you are to blame-”

“SHUT UP!” I yelled. My mistake? Jimin, mom, why is everyone blaming me? “How dare you even think I would hurt Y/n? You all are talking as if I did that on purpose!”

“In what way you are talking to me?!” My mother exclaimed.

“I don't want to see you. Leave me alone.”

___

I paced back and forth in front of the ICU, my eyes fixed on the doors. 3 am, I knew it was late, but I couldn't shake off the urge to see Y/n. I needed to know she was okay.

I approached the staff at the desk, my voice low and urgent. "I need to see her. Please, just for a minute."

The staff shook her head, firm. "I'm sorry, Mr. Jungkook. It's not visiting hours."

I reached into my pocket and pulled out a wad of cash, peeling off a few bills. "Please, just this once."

The staff hesitated, then nodded, taking the money. "Just for a minute."

As I entered the ICU, I saw a male nurse leaving Y/n's room. My eyes narrowed, my mind racing. Why was he allowed in here at this time?

I turned to the staff, my voice tight. "Why is he allowed in here? It's not visiting hours."

The staff shrugged. "He's on night shift, he was just doing his job, Mr. Jungkook."

My anger flared, my eyes blazing. How could I trust any man to be around her at this time? I felt a surge of protectiveness, my mind screaming that I needed to be the one by her side, not some stranger.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. I needed to focus on Y/n, not my own jealousy. But as I approached her bedside, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease.
__

I walked through the school hallways, my feet heavy with exhaustion. Every single person I passed asked me the same question: "How's Y/n doing?" I was tired of answering, tired of pretending like everything was okay.

It has been two months, but everyday everyone just ask me the same question and I can't give them a proper answer.

In class, the teacher asked me again, her voice dripping with false concern. "Jungkook, how's your friend Y/n? We're all thinking of her."

Something snapped inside me. I slammed my fist on the desk, making everyone jump. "She's still in the hospital, okay? She's still fighting for her life. She is not fine! Can we just focus on something else for once?"

The classroom fell silent, all eyes on me. I didn't care. I just wanted to be left alone.

After school, I made my way to the hospital, my mind still reeling from the day's events. As I approached ICU, I saw her mother talking on the phone, her voice hushed but urgent.

I slowed down, not wanting to interrupt. But then I caught snippets of her conversation - "hospital bills are getting out of my hands."... "I can't afford"... "don't know what to do".

My heart sank. Y/n's mother was dealing with financial problems, and I had no idea. I felt a wave of guilt wash over me. I had been so caught up in my own emotions, I hadn't stopped to think about the practical struggles Y/n's family must be facing.
__

I stormed into the house, my mind racing with thoughts of Y/n's mother and the hospital bills. I found my mother in the living room, sipping tea.

"Mother, I need to ask you for something," I said, my voice firm.

She looked up at me, expectant. "What is it, dear?"

"I want you to take care of Y/n's hospital bills," I said, my eyes locked on hers.

She raised an eyebrow. "Jungkook, that's very generous of you. I'll donate the money in our family's name."

My anger flared. "No, Mother. I don't want it to be a donation. I want you to help Y/n, not just throw money at her."

My mother's expression turned cold. "Jungkook, I don't appreciate the way you're speaking to me. I'll never help that girl now."

I felt a surge of frustration. I know my mother, she will not help her with nothing in return. "Fine, Mother. I don't need your money either. I'll figure it out myself."

My mother's eyes narrowed. "You're being foolish, Jungkook. You know our family's wealth can make a difference in that girl's life."

I shook my head, my jaw clenched. "I'll find another way.”
__

I wiped the sweat from my forehead, my feet aching from a long day of work. I had taken on a part-time job, determined to make enough money to cover Y/n's hospital bills.

My mother thought I was just acting out, trying to prove a point, but I was determined to show her I was serious.

Days turned into weeks, and I barely had time for school, let alone my own life. But I didn't care. I was doing this for Y/n.

One day, my mother showed up at the restaurant where I worked, a look of shock on her face. "Jungkook, what are you doing?" she asked, her voice low.

I didn't stop moving, just kept clearing tables. "I'm working, Mother. Trying to make a difference."

She followed me to the back, her eyes narrowing. "You're really doing this, aren't you? You're not just pretending to prove a point."

I nodded, exhausted. "I told you, Mother. I want to help Y/n."

Something shifted in her expression, and for a moment, I saw a glimmer of pride. "Okay, Jungkook. I'll take care of Y/n's bills. You just focus on your studies."

“I don't want you to do it as donation-”

“For god sake, stop all this. I am doing this for you. Your life matter to me, if that girl is so important I will help you out.”

I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, but I knew I couldn't stop now. I had to make sure Y/n was okay. But for now, I nodded, grateful. "Thank you, mom.”

___

Flashback,

“Y/n!” Jungkook exclaimed as he hit the controller on the table.

She laughed and crossed her legs. “How does it feel to lose the game for the third time?”

“Let's play again this time, I will win.” Jungkook said, Y/n phone was ringing and she picked it up.

“Yes baby? Where are you?” She asked. Jungkook rolled his eyes, she was talking to Jimin.

“Y/n, let's play again.” Jungkook said.

“Yeah, I am with Jungkook. I came here after work, I asked you to come with me right?” She said, She was silent for a few seconds. Jungkook couldn't hear what Jimin was saying.

“It's already 9:30 Pm? I didn't realize it.” Her smile dropped and she looked stressed. She got up and picked up her stuff. “Don’t be mad, I will go home. What are you saying? He is our friend and I was just playing video games-”

It looked at her. “Are you okay?” Jungkook asked.

She was typing something on her phone. “Yeah, nothing. I will go now.” She was booking an Uber.

“Don't, I will drop you home.” Jungkook said. While they were going back home Jungkook asked her what happened.

“Nothing, Just Jimin finds it weird that I was with you alone.” She replied.

“Why does he find it weird?” he asked. Y/n doesn't know how to tell him, Jimin thinks Jungkook is too clingy to Y/n and he doesn't like it.

“Jungkook, can you maintain distance from me.”

“Distance, what do you mean?” He lets out a nervous chuckle.

“I am dating, Jimin finds it weird when you hug me, or when we are alone together.”

“Why?” Jungkook asked.

“It's not his fault, I understand him. He is a little possessive and he doesn't want me to hang out with you alone.”

Jungkook stared at her. Now Jimin wants to completely take Y/n away?

“But, I am your friend. Jimin is so insecure.” He said.

“He is not, think about it, if I was dating you and I had another male friend. You would find it weird for me to hang out with him. Don't you?” She asked.

Jungkook nodded his head. But his grip on the steering wheel tighten.

After that Jungkook noticed changes on her. She was no longer the Y/n he knew. She completely changed herself.

__

Jungkook POV

I sat beside Y/n's bed, her hand limp in mine. I opened the textbook and began to read, my voice steady and clear.

I glanced down at Y/n, willing her to respond. But her face remained still, her eyes opened.

"Y/n, you need to get well," I said, my voice cracking. "Exams are coming up. You can't miss them. You are always the one who helps me with the exam now is my turn.”

I read on, trying to keep my emotions in check. But it was hard to see her like this, so still and silent.

"Y/n, please," I whispered, my eyes stinging. "Come back to me. I need you."

I closed the textbook and gently brushed a strand of hair from her face. "You're going to miss everything if you don't wake up. School, exams, our future... it's all slipping away."

I took a deep breath and tried to stay strong, but it was getting harder every day. I needed her to wake up, to come back to me.

__

I cornered Jimin in the school hallway, my eyes blazing with frustration. "Why haven't you been to see Y/n, Jimin?”

Jimin shifted uncomfortably, avoiding my gaze. "I know, Kook. But we have our final exams coming up. I'm busy studying."

I scowled, incredulous. "You're not worried about Y/n?”

Jimin's expression softened, and he sighed. "Of course, I'm worried, Kook. But what can I do? I can't just sit by her bedside and watch her sleep. She's been in a coma for 7 months, Jimin. I need to focus on my exams."

I felt a surge of anger, it felt like everyone was moving on except me.

"Can't you just take a break from studying to see her?" I pressed.

Jimin shook his head. "Kook, I can't skip my exams for her. As much as I want to be there for her, I have my own future to think about."

I felt like I was the only one still holding on, still fighting for Y/n.

___

I stood in the kitchen, my heart racing as I told my mother, "I'm not taking the exams."

Her eyes widened in shock. "Are you insane, Jungkook? You can't just skip your exams!"

I shook my head, my jaw set. "I won't leave Y/n behind, Mother. I want her to wake up first."

My mother's expression turned incredulous. "And what about your future? You'll be left behind, Jungkook. All your friends will be a year ahead of you."

I nodded, my voice firm. "That's exactly why I don't want to leave Y/n alone. I don't want her to feel like we all moved on without her. I want to graduate with her, Mother."

She shook her head. "Jungkook, you can't put your life on hold for someone who may never wake up."

I felt a surge of anger, but I kept my voice steady. "I'll take that risk, Mother. I won't leave Y/n behind.”

___

I was returning from the hospital, I watched Jimin, he was with a girl. It looked as if they were on date. Jimin saw me, he smiled.

“Jungkook, how have you been doing?” He asked.

“I thought you would come to visit Y/n after exam. It has been 4 months since the finals now. Who is this girl?” I asked. Jimin looked at the girl and smile. He introduced the girl to Jungkook.

“You are cheating on Y/n.” I said. Jimin and the girl both look surprised.

“What is he saying?” The girl asked.

“He has a girlfriend.” I replied.

“Jungkook.” He looked at the girl, “I don't have a girlfriend,”

“Y/n is not your girlfriend?” I asked.

“She was, she is in coma for almost 2 years what am I supposed to do? I can't leave my studies and everything else like you did for her, It makes me depress to her in that state, and she will never be able to be normal again. It's better if I move on now.” Jimin replied.

I hold his hand. “Fine, move on. But first tell Y/n that, she is still alive. Break up with her.”

I bring him to the hospital, he stared at Y/n and then at me. “What tell her? Her soul is there, she can hear you, she knows what is happening around her. You took way too long to visit her didn't you?”

“I am sorry, I should have visit you more often, but I was busy with exams.” Jimin politely said.

“Come to the point. Tell her you were cheating on her and wants to break up with her.” I said.

“It was not cheating,” Jimin said, he looked at Y/n. “I am so sorry, I know I should have tell you first. I thought it was already said, I want to move on. I promise to visit you-”

“Don't you dare come here again, Selfish human. Get out of here.” I exclaimed.

“It's not selfish, it's logical. For how long will you stay with herc, you will stop one day too.” Jimin said, before walking away.

“Don't Listen to her, you know that I will never leave you right?” I asked, I hold her hand, and smile a little. “You neglected me for him, you ignored me for him. You changed yourself for this guy Y/n and he consider love the change in you.”

___

Flashback,

“Y/n! There is this new gaming place, we both should go there!” Jungkook said excitedly.

“I will ask Jimin, we all can go.” She replied.

“What? Not Jimin.” Jungkook said.

“But why?” Y/n asked.

Jungkook’s eyes avoiding Y/n's. "I feel like a third wheel when I'm with you," he admitted, his voice low.

Y/n's expression turned mischievous. "I have the perfect solution! You should come on a double date with me and Jimin."

Jungkook's eyes widened in horror. "I can't, I'm not dating anyone."

Y/n waved her hand dismissively. "I know someone perfect for you. You have to come, it'll be fun!"

Jungkook hesitated, but Y/n's enthusiasm was infectious. "Fine, I'll come."

The double date was a disaster. Jungkook's eyes kept drifting to Y/n, who was laughing and chatting with Jimin. He tried to focus on the girl beside him, but his mind kept wandering back to Y/n.

As the night wore on, Jungkook found himself trying to find excuses to be near Y/n. He'd get up to grab a drink, just so he could brush past her chair. He'd try to join in on their conversations, just so he could hear her voice.

Y/n caught his eye once, a knowing glint in her gaze. Jungkook's face flushed, and he quickly looked away. He was in trouble. His love for her was not disappearing.

___

Jungkook's eyes scanned the crowded room, his gaze lingering on Y/n and Jimin, who were laughing and chatting together.

He had hosted this party specifically so he could spend time with Y/n, but it seemed like she was more interested in her boyfriend. Y/n has been ignoring him more, and Jungkook is going insane now.

As the night wore on, Jungkook's frustration grew. Y/n and Jimin were inseparable, and Jungkook found himself feeling like a third wheel. Again.

He watched in disbelief as Y/n and Jimin slipped away to the bedroom, and his anger boiled over. It's his house? How can she do that in Jungkook's fcking house?

Jungkook drinks while he is outside. His tears scroll down his face, it was dark so no one could see. And everyone seems to be busy with themselves.

After some time, he saw them again. Y/n came to him. “You are blushing.” Jungkook said. She looked at Jungkook.

“What? Me?” She touched her cheeks.

“What were you doing in the bedroom?” He asked.

“Jimin is just so unexpecting.” She replied.

"Y/n, how could you be so selfish?" he spat. Y/n looked at him confused. “I hosted this party so you could spend time with me, but you would rather spend it with your boyfriend of yours.”

Y/n looked up, her eyes sleepy and confused. "Jungkook, what's wrong? I thought you were okay with Jimin and me."

"Okay with it?" Jungkook's voice rose. "You're always with him, Y/n. You never have time for me anymore. I thought I was important to you, but I guess I was wrong."

Y/n sat up, her expression defensive. "That's not true, Jungkook. You're just being dramatic."

"Dramatic?" Jungkook's laugh was bitter. "You have no idea how I feel, Y/n. You never take the time to ask. How I am Doing.

Y/n's voice softened. "Jungkook, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."

But Jungkook was beyond reason. "Just forget it, Y/n. Forget our friendship, forget everything. You've clearly moved on."

He turned and left the party, slamming the door behind him.

Y/n sat up, concern etched on her face. She saw Jimin, “I don't know what happened to Jungkook suddenly, he left his own party.”

“What happened?” Jimin asked. Ad Y/n told him.

“He has been clingy for no reason.”

“Clingy? He is our friend.” Y/n replied.

“Yeah, our friend. Friends don't ruin dates and try to be part of the relationship.” Jimin said. “ He needs a reality check,”

“Not now, we should check on him. He looked different.” Y/n replied.

Except for going, Jimin looked at Y/n, “I am not going.”

“Don't talk to me either.”

___

Jungkook POV

I walked into the hospital room, my heart racing with excitement. Y/n was finally awake, and I couldn't wait to see her. But as soon as I approached her bed, her expression darkened. She growled, her eyes flashing with anger, but no words came out. Her mouth opened and closed, but only silence emerged.

I felt a pang of disappointment, but I pushed it aside. She's just not feeling well, I told myself. She still needs me.

But as I looked into her eyes, I saw something there that made my blood run cold. Fear. She was afraid of me.

Her mother stepped forward, her expression firm. "Jungkook, I think it's best if you stop visiting. Y/n needs space."

My mind began to race. How dare she try to keep me away from Y/n? Doesn't she know that I'm the only one who truly cares for her?

As I left the hospital room, I couldn't shake the feeling of anger and possessiveness that was growing inside me.

How nice it would be if her mother just...disappeared. Then I could take care of Y/n all by myself.

I could be the only one she needs.

Jimin left, and I am sure her mother will too. And only I will be left with Y/n.

__

Flashback,

As Jungkook emerged onto the rooftop, Y/n's eyes locked onto him, relief washing over her face. "Jungkook!" she exclaimed, rushing towards him. "Where were you? I was worried sick!"

But Jungkook's expression was far from reassuring. His eyes burned with an unnerving intensity, his smile twisted and manic. Y/n's instincts screamed at her to back away, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot.

"Y/n," Jungkook began, his voice low and husky. "I have something to tell you. Something I've been wanting to say for so long."

Y/n was curious about what he wanted to say, But as Jungkook's words spilled out, her blood ran cold.

"I love you," he declared, his eyes blazing with a fervor that made Y/n's skin crawl. "I've always loved you. You're the only one for me, Y/n."

Y/n stumbled backward, "Jungkook, I...I don't know what to say,"

"You don't have to say anything," he hissed, "Just be with me. Leave Jimin and be with me."

Y/n's heart sank, her thoughts racing with terror.

“What are you saying?” Y/n said.

“What am I saying? What have you been doing Y/n? How could you sleep with Jimin in my house? How can you hurt me like that? Here I was waiting for you, meanwhile you. You never cared for me have you even think of me?” Jungkook asked.

“Jungkook,” She lost words.

“I love you more than Jimin or anyone else in your life.” He exclaimed.

“I think you are clearly drunk, I should leave. We will talk about this later,” Y/n said.

“No, no, I got courage to talk after so long. That's right that I am drunk but I am being honest here.” Jungkook held her hand, “Please, we need to be together. You need to understand how insane I am for you.”

“Jungkook, you are drunk. Let's stop this conversation here.” She exclaimed. But Jungkook kept holding her near him while telling y/n how they should be together.

“I want things to go as they are going.” Y/n replied.

“You think Jimin will love you forever? He will not. But me, Y/n I will love you, Jimin will not.” He said, she kept refusing and trying to walk away,

As Y/n tried to back away from Jungkook,  but he pushed her, her feet slipped on the edge of the rooftop. Jungkook's eyes widened in horror as he realized what he done, but it was too late.

Y/n's screams echoed through the air as she fell, her body plummeting towards the ground below.

Jungkook's mind went blank as he rushed to the edge of the rooftop, his heart racing with fear. He peered over the edge, his eyes scanning the ground below for any sign of Y/n. And then, he saw her, lying motionless on the pavement.

What can he do now? It was an accident, he did want to hurt Y/n.

But he didn't think it was an accident, it was destiny. As destiny wanted to how all her loved ones would give up on him except Jungkook.

___

Jungkook POV

I gently carried Y/n into my home, her fragile body still recovering from the coma.
