third person pov

jeongguk huffed as he entered the house, exhausted and stressed from work. the best part of his day was when he saw his boyfriend, taehyung. he looked around and saw taehyung asleep on the couch.

"my angel..." he whispered and set his things down, going to him and carrying him to the bed. "rest well, beautiful." he whispered and did his nightly routine.

lucky for jeongguk, he had the day off the next day. why? oh, because.. tomorrow is a special day. special.

he went to bed, cuddling taehyung and falling asleep

the next day

jeongguk woke up at around 6 AM to set everything up. he didn't want to wait the whole day to propose, he did it early in the morning for his beautiful angel.

he set a trail of flowers along with candles next to them, leading it to their backyard. it was a small proposal since neither of them had many friends.

jeongguk smiled happily and sighed of satisfaction. for the final touch, he did a heart with flowers for the shape where he and taehyung would stand.

he set up his laptop to some speakers for his personal favorite of jeongguk's self-composed song Euphoria.

jeongguk went back upstairs and looked at a sleeping taehyung. "good. i can still make breakfast."

as he was making breakfast for the two, taehyung woke up and did his morning routine. he whined to himself as he thought jeongguk was at work already. "why does daddy have work everyday." he mumbled.

taehyung went downstairs and his eyes widened as he saw jeongguk, but not the trail. he back hugged him, squealing. "you didn't go to work!" he squeals and jeongguk smiles fondly. "good morning to you, too, angel."

jeongguk turned around and picked taehyung up. "you wanna know why i didn't go to work today?" taehyung nodded quickly. "today's a special day." jeongguk responds and smiles, kissing his nose causing taehyung to giggle.

he coos at taehyung and gives him his breakfast. "i made you your favorite." he smiles. "jajangmyeon and samgyeopsal."

taehyung squeals and giggles. "thank you daddy!" he says and jeongguk smiles. "of course, angel." taehyung smiles and starts to eat, humming in satisfaction

jeongguk smiled and kissed his cheek as he set taehyung down. "i love you." he mumbled under his breath, taehyung not hearing and just looking at him weird.

"i'm done!" taehyung squeals and jeongguk smiles. "alright, meet me in the backyard in ten minutes."

later

taehyung makes his way to the backyard as he followed the trail, his eyes widening. he hears his boyfriend's beautiful voice and looks up when he sees his figure. "d-daddy?" taehyung whispered and jeongguk quickly shushes him.

"shh.. angel.." he says and takes his hands. "you.. i.. my gosh.." jeongguk says and chuckles. "you are so perfect, so beautiful.. just so.. so angelic." he smiles and kisses his hand. taehyung blushes and giggles. jeongguk coos at him. "your giggle is so cute, your smile is so bright, your eyes brighten whenever you see me, your skin is so soft and smooth i could just kiss it all the time.." he kisses his other hand. "and so.. i ask.. you this." he gets down on one knee. "angel, will you become my jeon?" he asked and taehyung gasped as he nodded quickly, tears flooding his cheeks.

jeongguk stands up and cups his face, connecting their lips - feeling the same sparks he always does whenever he's with taehyung.

taehyung pulls away and giggles as he wipes his eyes. "th-thank you daddy., i love you.." jeongguk smiles. "i love you too angel, so much."
