taehyung sighed in relief, "wow.. that was a nice book." he laughed, "it's convenient that the main character has the same name as me... and that, well, all the events have happened to me."  taehyung widened his eyes. "oh no- oh- oh god," he mumbled.

taehyung shook his head. "i- i have to protect myself," he mumbled. however, as he said that, there was a sound of glass breaking in his room. his eyes widened further. "no, no- this can't be happening," he stuttered out as he went and hid in the closet, keeping quiet.

jeongguk, the villain of the book he was just reading, laughed. "come out, come out wherever you are," he sing-songed as taehyung simply kept quiet.

"come out or else!" he yelled as taehyung started to shake. "i'll kill you," jeongguk mumbled as taehyung felt tears stream down his face. jeongguk looked around, going into the kitchen and living room.

"what would you like? a knife? or.. a gun, perhaps?" jeongguk asked with a laugh as he kept looking.

taehyung and jeongguk were soulmates, but they didn't know that. and unfortunately, the author didn't write that, so taehyung grabbed the nearest sharpie and wrote on his arm: 'please help me. there's someone in my house'.

jeongguk didn't notice this, soon finding the closet as he opened the door. "bingo!" he laughed, running up to taehyung and stabbing him. taehyung died quickly after that, blood spilling out of him.

then jeongguk looked down at his wrist, widening his eyes. "huh? no! no..." he muttered, "my... my soulmate," he whispers, clearing any evidence as he rushes out of the house and going back to his own home as he sighs to himself. "why you.." he mumbles sadly.

from that day on, no one saw jeongguk ever again. he had self-isolated himself and ended up passing away. he felt guilty for killing his soulmate. this left the police to report the killer never being found or identified.
