You currently sat in your room getting ready for your date with Taehyung. You were putting a bit more effort into your appearance since it was your first anniversary. It was surprising how a year went by in a blink of an eye. Without a doubt, it has been the best year of your life.
You couldn't help but think back on all the great moments. Like when he asked you on a date for the first time.
You had been working with the camera crew that traveled with BTS for about a year. The band had been filming a vlive after an award show thanking ARMY for all of their support. After they wrapped it up Taehyung pulled you to the side to talk. You didn't think much of it since you had become friends with all of them.
He started rambling a bit while you just stood there with a smile on your face never seeing him act that way before. It was cute. Maybe you just thought that because you had a massive crush on him. Regardless, you just listened to him ramble.
"So y/n you know we have known each other for some time and um I think you're cool and pretty, of course," he spoke quickly, but you only grasped a few words he said.
"Yah, I'm so nervous," he said, giving you a timid smile.
He was interrupted by Jimin who shouted from afar, "Just get on with it Taehyunie."
He couldn't help but give a small laugh because of the nerves until finally, he asked you the anticipated question.

"Anyway what I was trying to say was if you would like to go on a date with me?" you took a breath shocked at his question but being excited nonetheless. "It's okay if you don't want to. It's cool no hard feelings,"
You tried telling him, yes, yet he kept interrupting you with his babbling. Irritated by his interruptions you put your hand on his mouth. He looked at you with wide eyes.
"Yes, Taehyung I would love to go on a date with you," you finally said with a grin.

Hearing those words he just excitedly smiled and laughed as if he was the happiest man on earth. At least he felt like it at that moment.

You always cherished that memory because it was the moment where your life changed. Into your life came this amazing man who loved you unconditionally and who never let the butterflies fade away.

The key was in the little details. Like how he never failed to send you a wink even if he was in the middle of performing. It reminded you of one of the latest performances they did for their new single.

It was at a studio with no audience; you were standing behind the cameras, your eyes never leaving him. When his turn to sing came he glanced at you and cheekily smiled.

Next thing you know he is sending you a wink unbeknownst to the people watching through a screen. It took you off guard and it made you blush like crazy. What made it worse was that the rest of the crew turned to look at you. You evaded their eyes and tried to look away, but everyone had already seen your blush and lovesick smile.

And what did Taehyung do next? He kept on singing proud that he could still make you flustered so easily even after almost a year of dating.

You did not let him get away with that though. While it did not come easy to make him blush or flustered you had your ways of "embarrassing" him. Well... he doesn't find it embarrassing per se what he is embarrassed about is his hyungs teasing. What am I talking about exactly? Easy, hickeys.
Let's just say that sometimes you got carried away and he would end up with a few hickeys covering his neck. You couldn't help yourself. He was so tempting and addictive.
Besides the addictive part, the teasing of the boys also motivated you because it was one of the only times you saw him embarrassed even if it was just a little bit.
There was one particular time they had a photoshoot and unfortunately, you had given him one the night before.
"You're lucky y/n," he said with a smirk.
"Why is that?" you asked looking up at him confused.
"For today's photoshoot I have to wear this high neck shirt, if it wasn't for that you would've gotten in trouble with the manager," he mentioned in an ominous tone trying to scare you.

"I doubt it Tae. You would've told the makeup artist to cover it," you laughed.
"What if I don't want to cover it," His words made you take an unnecessary breath. Your boyfriend sure was shameless. You didn't know what to answer but to your luck Hoseok saved you.

"Yah, Taehyung what's that on your neck?" he asked with wide eyes. You could see the mischief forming in his eyes.

"Nothing hyung," Taehyung said, fixing the collar of the shirt.

"Guys!" Hoseok yelled, "Taehyung has another hickey," The boys just laughed and poked more fun at him.

"Stop it," he exclaimed with embarrassment.

At times Taehyung could also be a very needy boyfriend and he had no problem showing it especially after long days of work. He was lucky you got to travel with him most times because if not you wouldn't know what he would do without you. 

"Y/N! Y/N!" He exclaimed from his seat on the couch.

"What? What's wrong?" You asked worriedly thinking something had happened to him.

"I'm tired, come cuddle me," He made grabby hands at you.

You leaned down to hug him, "Aww my baby."

Sadly, you had to pull away since you still had some work to do, "I can't right now I have to finish packing some equipment."

Walking away you heard Taehyung's whines.

"No, come back!"

"I need you girl"

You laughed at his silly whines and puns. Until he asked you a question.

"Don't you love me?"

You turned to look at his pouting face and said, "With all my heart, but I have to do my job."

"Just one more second baby and I'm all yours," you reassured him.

"Alright, I love you," he sweetly said and went quiet.

"I love you too"

Smiling at the memory you finished getting ready when you heard a knock on your door. You didn't have to guess who it was, you didn't doubt it was your boyfriend who tended to be very punctual. Hurriedly you made your way to the door and opened it with a beaming smile.

Waiting for you behind the door was your dashingly handsome boyfriend dressed in a suit.

"You look beautiful," he complimented you as he gave you a soft peck on the lips.

"Thank you handsome,"

With one last smile, he took your hand and walked you to his car.

Without a doubt, the best decision you made was saying yes to the date. He brought so much happiness to your life it was unbelievable. He always made you feel seen, heard, beautiful but most importantly loved. The greatest gift you could receive was to spend your life by his side.

Fortunately for you, Taehyung felt the same way which is why in the pocket of his suit jacket there was a velvet box with the promise of forever.
