『Melancholy : Sad』

『Characters: Eunhee + Jimin』

It was an ordinary Saturday morning, Eunhee was asleep on her bed. Her alarm was turned silent to not disturb her. Her pillows were still wet with tears from last night. Eunhee had a fight with Jimin. She was only able to think about the argument she had with Jimin all night. Even in her dreams did she remember the fight.

Day after day, night after night, Eunhee couldn't sleep well. She felt melancholy. Jimin felt the same way as Eunhee did, but he couldn't cry about it. He was sad, but, tears weren't able to pour out of his eyes.

Eunhee stared at her phone in dismay, there were no messages from Jimin. She rolled back into her sheets and shrouded herself into darkness. The mood of melancholy was everywhere.

Jimin also covered himself with sheets from his bed. He thought to himself whether or not he was to hard on Eunhee. After all, they only fought over a tiny misunderstanding. He never realized raising his voice would cause such trouble. He never knew he would scare and upset Eunhee.

After a bit of self consoling, Jimin regained the strength to message Eunhee. He took his phone and messaged Eunhee.

Eunhee's phone buzzed, surprising her.

"It can't be Jimin, right?" muttered Eunhee under her sheets. She ignored the buzz until another buzz sounded.

Eunhee grabbed her phone and turned it on. [2 new messages]. She opened her notification to see it was from Jimin. The message wrote:

["I'm sorry."]

["I didn't mean to be angry."]

Eunhee's phone began to ring, someone's calling. On the screen of her phone wrote 'Park Jimin'. Eunhee hesitated whether or not she should pick up her phone. A sigh escaped her mouth as she swiped her finger across the accept call icon.

"He- hello?" stuttered Eunhee.

On the other line Jimin sighed, "I'm so sorry Eunhee. I didn't mean to cause an argument. I... I... I'm truly sorry. Will you forgive me?"

Eunhee thought to herself for a moment. Since Jimin apologized, she agreed to accept his apology. Jimin was glad that Eunhee had forgave him. He didn't know what to do if she didn't. And because of that, Eunhee agreed to go on a date with Jimin the next day.
