"Bong-Cha, please!" You told her, resisting your best friend as she tried to pull you to the dance floor. "You know I don't like clubs, let me just sit here and be boring!"

"Fine." Your friend said, sulkily, and pouted, finally letting go of your wrist. "Be miserable. I am going to actually enjoy my night!" 

"Yeah, yeah." You chuckled, waving her off. "Just don't have too much fun otherwise I'm leaving you here." 

"Loser!" She called back, running off onto the dance floor. 

You sigh and sit by the bar at the back of the room.  

"What can I get you?" The bartender asked you.

"Oh, um, a gin and tonic please." You order, placing your purse on the bar to take out some cash. In doing so, you accidentally dropped the purse a little harsher than you planned and it knocked over the person's drink, next to you. "Oh, shit! I am so sorry." You exclaimed quickly, turning to the owner of the ruined drink.

"Um... It's okay." The man who sat next to you purred. You frowned slightly, seeing his expression. Had he not noticed? "Oh, no, it's okay." The bartender handed you a serviette and you frantically try to wipe up the drink.

"Let me get you another one, what was it?" You offer. 

"No, honestly, it's fine." The man purred, making you notice the deep, husky tone of his voice. "I shouldn't have anymore, anyway. I have work in the morning."

"Oh, where do you work?" You asked, instantly kicking yourself for being so nosy. 

"Big Hit. I'm in an idol group." The man said, dropping his head, almost sounding embarrassed. 

"Oh, that is so cool." You smiled. The bartender handed you your drink and you paid and thanked him. When you looked back at the man, he pointed over to the dance floor, gesturing for you to look over.

"You see them, two guys?" He asked you, you followed the direction of his long finger to two guys dancing like mad to a somewhat slow song. "The two dancing like lunatics?"

"Um, yeah." You nodded, looking back at him, confused.

"If you think that is 'cool', then sure, being an idol is cool." He chuckled. You laughed, shaking your head slightly. 

"I take it you not joining them actually makes you the cool one." You said, smirking at the guy.

"That's me." He played along. "Min Yoongi, the coolest, most boring idol in Korea." 

"I'm Y/N, apparently the most boring friend in Korea, so I guess we have something in common." You told him, now gesturing for him to look over to the dance floor. "My friend, thinking she's cool but actually looks like she's had one too many drinks." you chuckle, watching Bong-Cha foolishly dancing around. Yoongi smiled, turning back and picking up his empty glass off of the bar. 

"Here's to being boring." He smirks, holding his sad-looking glass up. You clink yours against it and smile brightly.

"Here's to being the most boring." You laugh.

"Y/N! Y/N!" You hear from behind you. You turn to see Bong-Cha running up to you, dragging some guy, along, behind her.

"Bong-Cha, I told you, you can't abduct drunk guys on the dance floor just because I won't join in," you said, making my voice sound as strict as you could but, when the guy behind her scratches his head and chuckles, you break and laugh out loud.

"Hoseok, why are you like this?" You hear Yoongi complain from next to you.

"If you can sit here and pick up designated drivers, I can pick up a crazy dancer!" The guy behind Bong-Cha laughed. You looked back to Yoongi and gave him a look that said he has a point.

"I'm not crazy." The guy behind her pouted. Yoongi chuckled in disbelief.

"As I said," Yoongi sighed, shrugging at you.

"Here's to being boring." You laughed. Your friends managed to persuade you and Yoongi to finally join them, so after two adult drinks later, the two of you found the confidence to join in on the dance floor, for a slow dance.
