(A/n: Thank you so much for 105k reads! It truly means a lot to me! Now that it's officially February, our precious, sunshine boy's (Hoseok) birthday is soon! And I know I didn't really say anything about the boys' birthdays' before (I do feel terrible for not saying anything before), but I want to change that this year! I hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful day/night! ☀️🌈💕✨)

+ For all of you who have probably wondered, yellow is my favorite color! It's pretty obvious, considering how much I use the yellow heart, the sun, and yellow sparkle emoji! +

M/N's P.O.V.

"Are you cold?" I asked as we walked back to our apartment, the icy air surrounding us. He lightly nodded, causing me to take off my green jacket and place it over his shoulders. "Better?" A grin formed on his face as he looked up at me. If my heart could beat, I think it wouldn't be able to survive the cute, little things he does.
"You know, you're the sweetest person I've met..." He stated, his honey-toned cheeks turning a dark shade of pink. "Why do people make your kind seem so evil?" I knew he had asked his question before, but I never answered him. I didn't know why, I just didn't feel the need to justify myself since I seemed to be the only vampire left in existence. We may be "immortal", but apparently, we die from a simple stab to the heart with a wooden stake.
"I, in all honesty, don't know. Humans are strange." I replied as I grabbed his hand and held it in mine. "The stars look beautiful tonight, don't they?" He looked up at the night sky, his mind drifting away from the topic I preferred to avoid.
"They do." He remarked as his warm hand gripped my cold hand and allowed me to somehow remember how it felt to be warm and full of life. He glanced down at our hands and then up at me, a smile forming on his face.

"Did you know what's even more gorgeous than any star in the galaxy?" I asked, causing him to look back up at me.
"What?" He inquired, his brown eyes shining in the light of the street lamps.
"You." I knew it was cliché and I didn't care. I wanted him to know actually how much he meant to me and how beautiful he was inside and out. His cheeks turned red as he stopped walking and hid face behind his hands.
"(M/n)!" He whined as he tried to hide his beautiful smile behind his yellow sleeves.
"I'm just stating the truth," I said and pulled his hands away from his face. "Don't hide from me, you're too cute." He blushed, once again, this time hiding his face by laying his head on my shoulder.
"You're too sweet..." He mumbled into my shirt, his small hands gripping my shirt. "How did I get so lucky?" I lightly smiled, trying to ignore the thoughts of him one day dying and leaving me all alone. I knew I should be cherishing the moment, but the unending dread was beginning to consume me.
"We should head home, it's getting late and you're probably tired," I spoke as I wrapped my arms around him, allowing the soft moment to sink in. I didn't care if people passed by in their cars and saw us while on their way to work. I only cared about the 5'8 boy in front of me and that was it.

I let go of him and bent down a bit, so he could get on my back and rest. He gave me an unsure look and I automatically knew what he was going to say.
"Are you sure? I might be-" I cut him off by quickly standing up and picking him up in my arms. His eyes were wide with surprise, but once he realized what had happened, he sighed and rested his head on my shoulder.
"You aren't heavy at all. We've gone over this, you're perfect the way you are and don't you ever change yourself because someone told you to." I told him as I held him in my arms. "You are perfect in every way and I will continue you tell you this until you think the same." He lightly nodded, eyes filling with tears. "You are beautiful inside and out, Park Jimin and don't let anyone, and I mean anyone, tell you otherwise." His brown eyes met mine and they, suddenly, pooled with overwhelming guilt.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, pulling the jacket over him more as the cold wind hit him as I began to speed run towards our apartment. "I'm trying not to be so hard on myself."
"That's good," I said as we quickly passed furniture shops, restaurants, and cafes. "We're almost home... I'm sorry I kept you out so long." He yawned, struggling to keep his eyes open.
"It's... fine." He muttered, his exhaustion beginning to take over. "I'm not tired at all." I chuckled as I stopped right in front of our apartment door before using one hand to hold Jimin as I used my other hand to grab my keys from my back pocket. I unlocked the door before shutting it behind us and locking it. I slipped my shoes off and set Jimin down on the couch before slipping his shoes off of him and setting them near the door.

I was about to walk away and leave him to rest on the couch, but he stood up from the black couch and walked over to me. He wrapped his arms around me and rest his head on my chest.
"Come cuddle with me." He mumbled, his voice barely coming out as a whisper. I ruffled his soft, blonde hair before picking him up once again and walking towards the couch. I laid down on the couch, allowing him to rest his body on top of mine. His hands gripped my shirt as his hair lightly ticked my cheeks, and his heartbeat filled the room. Everything about him was perfect in my eyes, I always wanted things to be like this, but I knew one day it would all have to come to an end.
