{ Continuing the Flashback }
Finally having everything packed, I packed the full suitcase on the bed. Sighing I sat down beside it, going over a mental checklist to make sure I had everything.
Suddenly, a ping came from my phone, causing me to stand up and grab it from the nightstand. Looking down at the small object, I typed in my password, seeing a little one on the text app. I clicked on it, seeing the message had come from Seokjin, telling me my flight information, saying the ticket would be in the mail by tomorrow. I thanked him, before setting my phone on the bed.
'It's been so lonely and quiet since Kookie left...' I thought, running a hand through my (h/c) hair. I stood up, sighing as I walked towards the bedroom door. Opening it, I left it open and walked down the dimly-lit hallway towards the kitchen. I hadn't eaten that much today, so I might as well eat something now.
Searching the cupboard, I grabbed a bowl, setting it down on the counter before walked towards the food cupboard. Opening it, I grabbed a box of (f/b) cereal, smiling in content since I thought Kookie had eaten it all.
After making a small bowl of cereal, I sat down at the kitchen table. Slowly eating the bowl of cereal.
"It's too quiet..." I spoke, killing the silence. The silence was slowly suffocating me, drowning me in it whenever I snapped out of my thoughts. It never left, leaving me to hear nothing, but from time to time the sound of a few cars passing by outside, or the loud beating of my heart, would fill the room.
I pushed away the bowl, the cereal barely even touched. I couldn't bring myself to properly eat, the silence was too suffocating.
I stood up, pushing my chair back in before walking into the living room. The living walls had pictures almost all over them, neatly, of course. All the pictures were of our families, our friends, Kookie and I, and our band members since we were both idols.
In my spare time, I would take a few minutes and look at the pictures, remembering all the good times we've had. Of course, with those goods times came bad times, but we got through it, together. Some of the pictures were extremely hard to look at, like the ones that showed my father, who had died three years ago from lung cancer, no matter how much time passed, it still hurt and it probably always will.
Fresh and deep wounds sometimes never heal, no matter how much we want them to. Looking away from his photo, I turned to one of Kookie and I. It was the day he asked me to be his boyfriend and, of course, he had Taehyung as his wingman. So I wasn't surprised when Taehyung appeared out a bush, yelling how much he shipped us together. It's was adorable how jumped around like a little kid, he is such a dork.
He even took the picture for us, telling us to smile. Right after that, we had it printed and we framed it, hanging it up on our wall when we first moved in together. I smiled so happily that night, I do every time I'm with Jungkook. He makes me happy, he makes me smile and laugh. He's everything I could ever ask for.
I didn't notice I was crying until, the tears started to fall down my neck and onto my shirt. I quickly wiped them away.
'You'll see him soon. No need to cry, (M/n).' I told myself, smiling a bit at the thought of seeing his bunny smile again. I walked away from the photos, sitting down on the red comfy couch.
"Maybe a book will help distract me." I thought aloud, grabbing the book, Kookie had been reading before he left.
'He said it was good, maybe I'll like it, too.' I thought, opening the book and beginning to it read the first page.
