M/N's P.O.V
"Namjoon, can you grab my sweater, that you said was in the bathroom?" I asked, sliding my dress shirt over my white tank-top.
"Yeah, I'll get it." He answered, his footsteps filling the quiet room.
"Thanks, Dear!" I remarked, buttoning up my shirt, hoping I was buttoning it right.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps getting closer, to the bedroom.
"Namjoon, did you find it?" I asked, carefully standing up from the bed.
"Yeah. Here, I'll help you put this on." He answered, walking over to me.He gently grabbed my arms, sliding the soft sweater up my arms and onto my shoulders.
"Thank you. Did I button my shirt correctly?" I asked, still not use to wearing button-up shirts.
"Yes, you got it. I'm proud of you, (M/n)." He spoke, I could tell he was smiling, as he looked at me, I wish I could see his smile, again. I bet it's still as adorable as I used to remember, it's just like him, adorable.
I raised my hand, setting it gently on his cheek.
"I can feel your cute little dimple," I stated, lightly chuckling.
"Yes, I suppose you can." He remarked, placing his larger hand over mine, as it still rested on his cheek.
"Now, what is this surprise you wanted to show me?" I asked, a small smile coming across my face, he spoiled me way too much.
"Well, you probably remember our second date, when we stayed home and watched a movie. But, don't worry about that, I'm sure we can figure out something fun to do. I also have a wonderful surprise planned for you, Dear." He answered, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"Aw, I can't wait! I love surprises!" I happily exclaimed, pulling my hand away from his cheek, so I could clap my hands together in excitement.
"You're too cute." He stated, with a laugh.
"Thank you," I spoke, a warm blush spreading across my cheeks.
I walked down the hallway, I had gotten used to our apartment, so now, I practically didn't ram into anything anymore, which I was extremely proud of. I walked into the living room, sitting down on the comfy couch.
"Are you comfy?" Namjoon asked, walking down the hallway.
"Yeah, just a bit cold," I answered, attempting to grab the blanket, that was on the couch, but it wasn't here anymore.
"I saw you walk in here all by yourself, I'm proud of you." He stated, his footsteps getting closer to me, as I still sat on the couch. "I love how determined you are."
"I know it's been hard on you, losing your sight only six months ago, but I want you to know, I'm here for you. Through the thick and thin." He told me, I felt him sit down next to. His hands touching mine, pulling my hands into a gentle hold in his.
"I'll get the blanket for you. You don't need to push yourself. It will take time for you to get used to everything." He spoke, letting go of my hands, before standing up from the couch.
"Thank you, Joonie," I softly whispered, looking down at the ground.
"I'll be right back. I think I would be fun to read that one book, you've been wanting to read for the past seven months now, do you think?" He asked, taking my hands in his, his hands were bigger than mine, but I guess I've always had small hands.
"I can't get over how small your hands are in mine... It's adorable." He stated, causing me to quickly pull my hands away from his to hid my face.
"Stop flirting with me, Namjoon." I playfully scolded, my hands still covering my face.
"Okay, Okay." He cutely pouted, causing me to let out a small chuckle.
"Can you read to me?" I asked out of nowhere, I always loved to read books, but when my eyesight started to fade away, little by little. It became harder and harder to read.
"Of course. I'll be right back." He answered, letting go of my hands and quickly walking off.
I still haven't learned how to read Braille yet since they wanted me to get a little use to seeing nothing, I was the rare case who lost all of their sight.
"I really need to learn how to read Braille," I whispered, wrapping my sweater around me to give me warmth.
"I'm back." Namjoon's voice, suddenly, filled the silent room.
"Yay!" I exclaimed, sitting up, properly not the couch. I heard his footsteps getting closer to me, and suddenly, I was being lifted up into his arms.
"Namjoon! You promised me no sneak attacks!" I playfully yelled, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Sorry." He sheepishly spoke, sitting down on my couch with me on his lap.
"You're so warm," I whispered, laying my head on his chest.
"Thank you, but don't fall asleep just yet, I thought you wanted me to read to you." He stated, wrapping the blanket around me.
"I'll try not to, but you're so comfy," I remarked, snuggling closer to him.
